Im so sorry to have to write this, however i spoke to the staff and didnt get the response i thought i would. Tonight, we had to wait 2 hours for 4 pizzas and even felt obliged to give the table next to us our left over food, as they arrived before us, and 2 hours into service were given one free drink each because their choice of food had suddenly 'sold out'. They were starving and we felt terrible for them so shared what we had. We got to the checkout to pay and we told by the lady serving us the reason for the delay was that "gastro is going around Healsville, 2 of our staff are down with it and i had to send a chef home for vomiting in the bathrooms and not telling me about it and when i caught him i sent him home".... Did these people serve us all our food I was in Healesville for work and can not afford to get sick as i run my own business so this is incredibly concerning if true. For next time - please dont make people wait, just shut down your space for health and safety reasons if the gastro outbreak was legitimate. Everyone would have understood if it was communicated upfront. The food was wonderful, but the entire experience was nothing i would want others to experience.

We had a dog with us and thought we’d need to sit out the front, but the lovely staff member seated us in the courtyard. She also had some good food and drink suggestions – my pinot noir was delicious. I had the ham pizza and my friends had margherita pizzas and a lavish fish and chips. We shared a tasty plate of greens roasted with almonds, fetta and balsamic vinegar. Everything was delicious – just what we wanted on a Sunday night. They let us split the bill as well, which was much appreciated.

The service is very bad, where they takes forever for the food to serve. Our entree (dishes to share) came in 10mins (great) But our main took another 40mins before they come. We saw another table that came after us (with the same amount of people) got their food before us and finished them before our food comes. And when we asked when will the food come, the waiter was really rude and just tell us to keep waiting. The food was great but the whole experience were ruined by the waiter (mainly that one waiter, the rest was great), still, the inconsistency in service is not preferred

This family friendly restaurant had a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The team were friendly and welcoming. A little surprised the food took 45 minutes to arrive being that the restaurant was only 1/3 full, but we really enjoyed our meals regardless. I wanted to try a pizza after reading all the rave reviews. It was very nice, but for me it tasted as though it was missing some flavour (maybe herbs or a seasoned oil drizzle to give it more of a kick). We also enjoyed a side of broccolini. Plenty of local wines, beers and ciders to choose from too. All reasonably priced.

We hired the Bodhi Tree restaurant for a private function (surprise 60th birthday) and could not have been happier with our choice of venue. The restaurant is rustic, unique, quaint, oddles of atmosphere, cosy (wood fire for warmth) and clean. Huge rave reviews from all our guests regarding the food and service, good drink selections including yummy hot chocolates, all dietary requirements were catered for without a problem, did I mention the delicious food that just kept coming out all night :). There is an area where children can play with lots of toys, big chalk board etc. Thank you Kim and your staff for making our night such a success.

So good, I'm not sure I can eat here again. The menu was that hard to pick from, it all looked so good. The three of us had three different meals and they were all amazing, the young, friendly staff were genuine and the owner had some great advice and a good laugh. The rustic, club house vibe was cozy on a cold, winters night and the facilities were top notch. Highly rated for good reason.

The food was pretty good and the atmosphere is rather homey and cozy. Had the linguine and found it rather satisfying. Friend had the Green curry chicken with basmathi rice - it's weird to flood the rice with the curry as it made the rice fluffy, which in time slowly turned to a bit of porridge... Other than that, brought our own bottle of wine (they won't accept hard liquor) with a corkage charge of $4 per person. Had fun with the kitten, Ivy and the chef was a funny entertaining man too. Ended off dinner with an almond cheesecake - which made everything alright in the end.

We ordered the margarita pizza. It was really nice, it had a nice crust and not burnt at all. It had decent amount of cheese and a unique sauce with plenty of basil leaves. The wait time was quite quick only 5 min. The only thing is it was a little small for the price but the quality was very good would recommend!

This cafe goes straight to my Top Favourite Cafes list!! The atmosphere and decor inside were superb with an eclectic mix of wooden tables and chairs. The building itself is a wood-framed lean to with a corrugated iron roof including some laser light panels for natural light. Outside there's a bar and a beer garden. The cappuccino blew me away... Not only did it taste great but it came with two small delicious macaroons and cost less than what I normally pay for coffees with no extras! This cafe is no doubt going to be one of my regular hangouts!

We went to this place after a long day hiking. I have not written any review for a long time, tho I was urged to write this time due to such wonderful experience I had. The place itself is beautiful with exceptional decorations bringing freshness from all the greens and calmness from the surrounding. Food was generously served and tasted great. We were served by super friendly waitresses especially Laura (If I spell the name right). Her smile made my day; and she was extremely helpful plus accommodating. Thank you for all the experience :)

We shared a really good and generous, wood-fired pizza with large Greek salad accompanied by an excellent 2015 Boat O’Craigo Cabernet. The very friendly staff were happy to give tourist advice. Very reasonably priced, too. And then we were handed take-away desserts, on the house!

We chose to drive from Warburton where we were staying to Healesville to go to the Bodhi tree - and were not disappointed. Service was outstanding, pizzas were great and the whole chill feel of the place was excellent. We will definitely be recommending this to any of our friends who come this way - certainly worth checking out as a preferred alternative to one of the big commercial competitors on the main strip.

Took my brother here for his 29th birthday. They reserved a fabulous table for us in the bar out the back. The staff are always so amazing and customer oriented. The steak was the best I have ever had and cooked perfectly. They recommend a perfect desert, a lovey citrus crumble. Honestly if you are even near Healesville you need to come to the Bodhi Tree for dinner. I traveled from Echuca and I have to say it was very much worth the drive. Thank you for an amazing evening!!

We went to the Bodhi Tree Restaurant after spending the weekend in Healsville following the wedding of my nephew on Saturday. The food and atmosphere at the Bodhi Tree is amazing. Unfortunately, the middle aged man who seems to be the supervisor is entirely inappropriate in the way he interacts with his female waitstaff. It actually made my boyfriend and I feel really uncomfortable and has definitely made us question whether we want to go there again. I'm annoyed that I didn't say anything at the time but was just too shocked at seeing this kind of behaviour happen right in front of me.

Such a beautiful place. Gorgeous decor. Wonderfully attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food. Make a booking so you don't miss out. But even if you don't make a booking, they have take away so it's ok ❤️

Such a difference since the last time i went here, which was over 18 months ago. It has been cleaned up but still has its rustic atmosphere. Absolutely delicious food, mains and desserts, local wines and food, awesome wood fire pizzas, great outdoor area, very relaxing and tranquil, overall i was very impressed with the whole experience. Would recommend this place to both locals and tourists. Great place to dine, sip and relax.

I had a father who was on a wheelchair and a puppy. We were given a private room so that my father would not feel cold and to accomoadte our puppy and rather large family. That was a great gesture! The food was great - chicken parma and fish and chips were great (except the ham pizza which was too salty due to there being both Han and anchovy). Overall would absolutely recommend!!

It is a cute little restaurant and I loved the rustic theme! The table I was at was slightly wonky and I spilled my water but the chairs were cute and comfy and the cushions were really nice. The food was soooo good and I loved the potato gratin. The steak I had was cooked to perfection and was really tender :) I would recommend this restaurant to many people

What a gem! This place has it all. If you're in Healesville, go here! The set up is incredible - they've thought of everything. Indoor and outdoor seating options, a kids room, a back bar. Went for a day trip to Healesville and stopped into this wonderful restaurant for some lunch. The weather was great, which definitely helped set the atmosphere. We brought our family of four including a 5yo and a 2yo. We booked ahead of time at suggestion from friends which was a great decision even for a Sunday night. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We would definitely recommend it to others and would visit again next time we are in Healesville.

Stopped in for lunch as it was cold outside… was not disappointed. Staff were welcoming and The food was wonderful! After sharing a garlic and prawn pizza we decided to try a couple of the desserts. Apple-berry crumble and Toffee and pecan roulade. Hopefully the images speak for themselves. Delicious!

The Bodhi Tree is worth a visit no matter where you live. One of the best atmospheres you'll get at a restaurant in the east, and some of the nicest, juiciest chicken you'll have for a long time. A little pricier than average, but totally worth it.

We walked in to a beautiful warm rustic setting and friendly waitress. Considering there were only two small tables occupied in the restaurant, we had to wait over an hour to get our meals. The food itself was average for the price - we got the pulled lamb pizza and a chicken parma.

Nice place with good food and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the prosciutto wrapped asparagus on the menu at the time. Menu didn't match what's listed online, so may change often. Bit of a wait for the food as well. Karaage chicken was not what you expect if used to Japanese style.

We loved this rambling little venue. Great food-I had the Moroccan mushroom burger with hand cut chips. Stunning. Partner had flatty tails. Lovely. If you are wanting a rustic, quirky, tin shed, timber boards, mismatched chairs - certainly our style. Highly recommended.

Usually i would hate BBQ chicken pizza... But no... They have the best bbq chicken pizza i've ever had! Also don't forget the juicy steak sandwich and lovely atmosphere!

A warm and welcoming pizzeria with plenty of character. I love the rustic, ramshackle feel of the place. They have a great range of wood-fired pizzas; I was especially fond of the smoked trout and goats cheese one. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for lunch w/ two teens in way back from fishing trip. Everything here exceeded expectations. Lamb pizza was delicious. Hand cut chips are out of this world. Katsu chicken was smoky and crispy. Just marvellous. Will be back for sure.

Simply the best pizza in town. If your tired of junk fast food pizza and want something that tastes great and doesn’t leave you feeling blah then grab a couple from here. My favourite is the chicken or the lamb is just as good.

Love this place! Kim and her crew always accommodate our large groups, events and special diets. The food is great and the atmosphere is family-friendly and one of a kind.

Good service, nice vibe. We had the woodfired pizza, it was delicious - I had the bbq chicken pizza, my friend enjoyed the vegan delight too.

Lovely staff, great place to go on when everywhere else is busy. Good was really nice and great collection of drinks. Very reasonable prices.

Had the pizza and the steak and they were both sublime! Beer was cold and wine was tasty. Lovely vibes too - thanks for a wonderful evening.

I always visit Bodhi Tree everytime I trip to Yarra Valley. It always delight me, my family & friends. Amazing delicious wood fired Pizzas.

Love this place - so great with my son's allergies and such wonderful staff. Play area has been fantastic for the kids. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and delightful service. Food is fresh and tasty. We didn't try the pizza but sample a range is share plates plus dessert.

Our dinner was delicious! Coming from out of town it was a nice experience on open mic night. We had great service and lots of laughs :)
