Interesting decor... most i can't post pictures of because of t&c. It's very... different to say the least. Bar staff are excellent, very friendly and professional. I ordered some "chicken bites", southern fried buttermilk chicken with spicy mayo. The spice from the mayo apparently all found it's way into the chicken bites... they were hot! Awesomely spicy and delicious. Would have been a little better paired with a cooler mayo, but still an excellent accompaniment to a pot of beer. The decision to make a giant mirror into a urinal in the men's bathroom is slightly questionable, but doesn't exceed the questionable architectural decisions I've seen in some other pubs. Clientele were a mixed lot, the place seems popular with a variety of crowds. Of all the venues in the cbd it easily rates in the top half. Free wifi and free water makes it obvious that the bottom end is placing customer service and comfort above the bottom line.. Table tennis table, pinnies and board games gives the venue a very sociable feel. Smoking area out the front, no food there (as per smoking regulations) but drinks can be taken out (during normal service at least). Happy hour at the moment is mon-fri 4-7pm. $15 jugs and $1 sriracha wings makes this a great option for after work drinks.

I remember seeing Diplo here at an after party and bloody WHAT?!? How. The place was CRUSHED. The layout was pretty cool. I remember it being like a mini amphitheater with the audience surrounding the artist and everyone having an enjoyable evening. I made the mistake of leaving the venue for a jog partway through and nearly didn’t get let back in. Luckily I knew someone playing that night and they were able to convince the bouncer that I was telling the truth. All in all a great night and I will always remember it fondly. Dirk had to work the next day so he left around 3am.

A local joint in the CBD serving a simple food menu. Popular after work hangout. Happy hour from 4-7 Tuesday thru Friday. Beer and wine specials. Friendly service, games on TV, very convivial. Large area with 2 bars. Understand on Saturdays it opens to the upper floors as a gay friendly club scene. Great place to catch a cocktail or a pint. Price posted is for 2 jugs (pitchers) of happy hour beer at $15 each. Normal beer prices are $12/pint, $20/jug. Wine $6 happy hour, $7.50 normally

They boast their hotdog / American style foods but it's a low effort high cost. Do not recommend. We also had a larger table of ten, we ordered at the bar as needed, when the food was ready I went up to collect it and asked for help from the staff to deliver to the table. They were offended, mocked me, and really hated the idea of helping to bring food to the table. I can only speak on the behalf of what I experienced which was an empty Restarunt with 2 staff members chatting not bothering for any hospitality.

On a stifling hot day we had to get out of the heat and the staff supplied a lovely cold drink of water ( no we didn't need alcohol that time after all of the 43 degree heat in the city.) They were also very helpful in sending us in the right direction to continue on our walk after we had waited for 10 minutes outside beforehand for a taxi that didn't turn up. It is a quite busy hub of activity and had we more time to return we would have come back for some more great hospitality. Thanks

It was the first time and certainly the last time. There was a very angry bouncer who pushed me and fell to the ground and really did not expect it because I was just waiting for my jacket from my friends in front of the entrance. He did not want us to enter because we had bought alcohol out of the room but I got it right immediately and I did not complain but I was just waiting for my jacket from my friend, in fact the other bouncer (the black guy) was perfectly calm.

My favourite pub in Melbourne It ain’t posh, but its got great music, fun staff, rock vibes, big booths and plenty of weird and wonderful stuff on the walls. It’s L.A meets Australia - 90’s grungy booths and neon lights but full of energy. Pints of Monteith’s cider on tap for $12 and plenty of greasy American diner goodies on the menu. The staff make the place. Great vibes.

Wednesdays - Trivia night, $15 jugs, smoking area. The food is "American diner" the service is exceptional - the bar-keeps are sassy, observant, diligent and they remember rounds, often reminding me of what I've missed. Love this place, can't recommend it enough - we're 40+yo casual drinkers.

Really interesting pub in a side street, wouldn't have known it was here! Lots of areas to spread out. Good atmosphere on a Friday night. The potato gems loaded with Mac and cheese are amazing! Would go back for these alone. On the Friday night there was an amazing magician walking around to each of the tables, I expected to have to pay or tip but it was free! Really keen to go back to this place.

This club is such a vibe, you can get to know anyone quickly, the music was great, the peach room had fans on it was cool enough and people are actually civil and are here for the right reasons. Me and my mate pulled two girls there then we gave each other numbers and social media details within 10 minutes after meeting them. Highly recommend Treat on Collins, if you wanna go out for a fun night.

  • Jason Hendry

I'm not sure what this place used to be or what it's trying to be now, but the beer is cold and there's enough room to swing a cat holding onto another cat because this is really two bars side by side with an adjoining walkway. Had the $1 chicken wings, they were pretty tasty. Overall not a bad place for a few drinks on a Friday night, not the kind of place to have a wedding reception tho'.

  • Allison clover

Who would go anywhere else? Good music, even better food. Hilarious staff, table tennis, basketball and board games! Surrounded by Tv's that play all the important sports.. (including competitive snooker!) Wednesday night Trivia is the best in Melbourne hands down. This place has it all, and every time you go, you'll notice something new on their walls. 10000/5 stars.

Treat is a pretty good club, enjoyed the RnB and the layout of the place. Wasn't too scummy but found that the floors were quite wet?? Obviously not the fault of staff but was slippery when dancing. Drinks were reasonably priced I got in on the list of a party so entry was free! Liked that they had 2 styles of music and different rooms. Best club I've been to thus far

  • Muthukumar N

Average service. Food not served after 10.30. -- Edit: Got response from the owner. Going by that it could be on that day when I visited. However, I would like to let them know that there is a lot of scope to improve the food quality and service. The person attending us could have been polite rather than just chasing away the people who were having food at that time.

  • Hayley Horton (Hayleyjenniferxx)

A Parmi with Mac and cheese on it. I can’t think of a more beautiful combo, and it was executed perfectly. Although I did leave looking like I was 8 months pregnant with my food baby. The cocktail jugs were also amazing, the dark and stormy was a favourite at out table. On top of that the staff and decor/vibe of the place was great! We’ll definitely be going back!

  • Pam Clark

We are in the older category but we thought this place was great.the food was excellent There was 4 of us and we all ordered different burgers- they all were beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful.it was noisy and very busy but staff and food were great, and we enjoyed our time there ( about 4 hours). we would definitely recommend this place.

  • Mathew Sellick

Lunch time burgers & beer are good, timely service with a pretty good burger. The venue itself is dark, not exactly the venue you'd be taking a group of people for networking. There's a small outdoor area's that catches a bit of afternoon sun combined with a few pints of beer (they have a special beer each week) it can be an good venue.

  • Cameron Young

Honestly one of the best nights out I've been on since arriving in July. We went out on a Saturday night with $25 dollar entry. Drinks were also quite expensive at $8.50 basics, but not really too bad compared to loads of other Melbourne clubs. Vibe though was awesome and the music was banging, thoroughly enjoyed myself.

  • Jan Sánchez Gili

Nice place where you can drink or eat something. During the week happy hour between 16 and 19h, and buy a beer jug for 15AUD during that period. You can play table tennis also several different games as the trivia night. Also you can sit inside or in the terrace. For all that is a good place where go for some drinks.

  • Steve W

Treat Nightclub - fun place to go for a night out! Had a blast when I was here. Has a variety of music genres in different rooms and an overall good club layout and design.Only thing I would say is that they should maybe put signs up to find certain rooms easier (e.g. RnB room etc) for new people coming to Treat

  • Elliot Addley-Cook

Good chill bar for a catch up, good range of whisky, amazing burgers! and booths and a ping pong table. Staff are friendly and chatty and have some killer ideas if you need a recommendation. Never been to the night club, but the line circles the block so it has to have something going for it. Check it out.

  • Natalia

The Parma is outrageous and you should get it. The Mac n cheese is genuinely delicious and doesn't taste like a packet mix. The bar itself is alright for a few Bev's and hanging with mates on the more quiet nights. There's also a lot of interesting decor going on, the more you look the more you see.

  • Alexander Ellwood

Very cosy and moody place to go for a drink. The atmosphere is generally friendly and welcoming, and the selection is perfect. I do say, though... I was disappointed the gaming machines were broken. Otherwise, a great place to go have a drink after work, a short walk from Southern Cross Station.

  • Giorgio Fulli

Beers are good, fries are amazing, and the staff is polite. I asked if it was possible to watch MotoGp in the outside area and they immediately turned the channel on the MotoGp one. There are also some games to enjoy while drinking something, like Ping Pong, some retro games and a small Basket.

  • David Fromm

What an awesome place to work and what an incredible Sat night it was last weekend the 10th July went off v thanks to The venue staff who were so amazingly professional and made my job so much easier and more importantly enjoyable. Thanks so much, hope to see you all after lockdown

  • Catherine Hancock (Milly)

We had seen great reviews about the Parmas at The Bottom End and went to investigate.. they did not disappoint. I had the Mac and cheese with bacon Parma and it was a great combination, the original Parma was also very tasty. 10/10 The barmaid made great cocktails as well.

Old school mate, the place is a gold mine for singles. Bump into another single, chill down with beer and enjoy a game of billiard. Simple menu limited for options, but worth the dime. Best part taxis are always available outside the club. No DJ just good music.

  • Johan Coelho

Went to a party there. Great music. But since it was crowded, the place became very hot. They REALLY could make use of more ac units. Also it was a little hard to get drinks from the bar. Maybe more guys over working over there? Otherwise, I did enjoy the night.

  • Jeff Burns

Love the atmosphere here as it looks like a dive bar but is surpurises you when you head in inside. It has a good selection of beer and whiskey with a good happy hour for food and drinks. Would be a great place to have After works fldrinks and bar food.

  • Hamish Glover

Went for dinner and drinks before seeing a comedy show, great place to chill. Not many food options but the burgers made for a proper dinner, so I’m not complaining! They’ve got Monteith’s cider on tap, which is a good one. Can play table tennis too!

  • Christian Woern

We popped in during lunch time (quite busy). The burgers/chips were good, the staff friendly, the prices moderate. Like many of these bars/restaurants in CBD, it seems to be advisable to show up before 12:00 lunch time to secure some seats/tables.

  • chat2me

Honestly the “Loaded Fries” were absolutely amazing it looks scary $14 but for $14 you will receive what you would want -it tasted amazing and I am a critical person-Enjoy this at “The bottom end” PAOLO ANTONIO RITORTO …

Fantastic Buggers and Hot Dogs. Prices are are quite reasonable and good size potions too. Loved the pub atmosphere, the TV was on with sports. Nicely arranged bar too. Will revisit for sure. Recommended to anyone, who like to explore pubs.

  • Francisco Contreras

Last night, Friday the 24th of November, one of the bartenders, a tall young guy with short, blonde hair, who works at the bar near the kitchen alongside a woman with long, dark hair, treats foreign students, who make up 80% of the pub's

  • Tim Liu

Nice setting, but the food wasn't that great for what you paid, even thought the food is quite cheap. But one thing I have to say though is that food is made very quickly, my order was ready by the time my server finished pouring my beer

  • HeldBack

American sports on the screens. Great food at a reasonable price for the city. Booths to sit in for groups. Some arcade games in one corner. Close to Southern Cross for the journey home. One of my favourite venues in the city.

  • Longshot78

Food was great but... Had a hotdog with Mac and cheese which took an hour 15 to get. 75 minutes for a hotdog. I get an hour for lunch. Would love to sample the rest of the menu but can't see myself doing so due to wait times.

  • Karan Jain

I just had my birthday planned at Anyway on 20th of August, yesterday. So I was there before 11 waiting in the line with all my mates to get in . When we got the the front of the line at the entrance the bouncer at the front

  • Olivia Gigliotti

Rudest manager I have ever come across, apologised to me for being rude to our group but I really wouldn't return or recommend to anyone based on her attitude. Lived here for 25 years and haven't had an experience like this.

Had lunch here, loved my burger but they promised my wife her Southern fried chicken burger would not be spicey, was so spicey she could not eat it, even I found it firey and I do like a bit of spice! Disappointed!

  • Nick Coad

Unfortunately these guys changed their menu and it is far less exciting now. Still a very chill place to hang out with friends, and I doubt the food is bad, just not as big a range as before which disappointed me.

  • Sam HG

Absolutely incredible place. Such a relaxed vibe, friendly staff who will help you with anything they can, good tunes and great food. Have never had a bad experience and have been coming for years! Thanks guys.

  • G P.

Good beer and food options. Staff were polite and efficient. Outdoor seating is available too. A bit surprised why this place isn't too crowded on a Friday evening at 6 pm. We were glad to get seating inside.

  • Allison Clare

I swear by this place. The service is insanely great. The staff are so well mannered and bubbly. (And good looking) The burgers are to die for, the move/tv selection is on point. The club's are a hoot! 12/10

  • Sean

Service is a but hit and miss. Although the staff have to deal with some complete turkeys so it's no wonder that they are a bit jaded. Excellent beer and spirit selection and some killer cocktails.

  • Destin

Currently my favourite bar in Melbourne. The staff are super friendly and I always enjoy my nights here. The drinks and food here are great and they make my favourite Expresso Martini in the city.

This place has changed since the pandemic, they've added some arcade style games. Generally a good atmosphere, easy place to recommend for a couple drinks after work in the city.

  • Akshay Tulangekar

Burgers are great in taste, but the quantity felt smaller for the price. Should've taken the double patty burger to fill me up. The Rowdy Cheeseburger is worth trying there.

It lives up to the name. It's a typical pub with great food and good selection of booze. The fries were perfectly seasoned and their hotdogs are loaded.
