This 5 star review is long overdue. I have been attending the cutting room every 6-8 weeks for over 10 years now. I cannot praise Cass and Penny enough for the fantastic work they do, what they have achieved, and the numerous well deserved accolades they have received along the way. The staff are awesome too. Bec is amazing and is to be commended for her patience when dealing with me and my unrealistic demands at times. All staff are genuinely interested in achieving your goals. They provide honest opinions, are extremely professional and excell in delivering feedback. In addition, other positives are: . The atmosphere created by All staff. . Located in a small complex providing ample parking and a clean toilet for customers. . The fresh, trendy, thoughtfully decorated salon with plenty of room. . Consultation and pricing provided upfront on every visit. . Refreshments provided no matter how short or long your appointment. Lastly, be sure to read the hand scribed messages on the chalkboard out the front. These range from humourous to inspirational and at times intended for a reality check. Whatever the case may be on the day, you will be guaranteed positive vibes Keep up the great work ladies.

I was recommended to go to The Cutting Room after having a few disappointing results / disasters from other salons. My hair I felt needed some love & a transformation to get it back to good and into a style that I really liked. I was quite nervous of going to a new salon as was disappointed previously. I then met Amie who actually listened to what I wanted and what I wanted to achieve. It truly was refreshing for a hairdresser to listen to what you wanted to achieve rather than the hairdresser doing what they wanted to do. The result of part one of my hair transformation is amazing. I was so amazed in what Amie achieved and have now rebooked until Christmas (so far) Thank you Amie and team you were truly awesome. I got my balayage done today from here. I am happy with the outcome but it is too pricy. I got $273 quote online for balayage long hair. I thought it might go to $300. But when I went there, the quote was $373, which is too expensive for me. I was getting 20 foils for $265. I have to travel and getting it done was imp. I had cancelled my other appt as I got appt here. So having no other option, I went ahead. Probably from next time, I will get the quote first and do booking later. Update: unfortunately I am not able to reply on your response. I have attached quote price. Thanks for your service and my hair looks good. I just mentioned that the quote I got online was different in real, so better to check face to face. The same you mentioned. We both are on the same page.

A big shout out to The Cutting Room, and Tara in particular for my hair cut and blow dry on 21 March 2023. As someone with 'short hair' that needs someone who 'gets short hair' and styling. Because I was returning to north western Sydney after 8 years I was concerned about finding a new hairdresser as I had left one who was amazing.I listened to my friend Lorna who suggested I try The Cutting Room at Riverstone and I was so pleased. In fact, I have appointments booked into next year...and will definitely have the shampoo on offer next time. The pricing was very welcomed for a senior. Salon is good, clean and hygienic. I took the hair keratin treatment. Girl who was doing it told me that my hairs will not tangle...i can feel the change but my hair still tangles..its not that smooth yet. I guess more seatings are required. Staff is very gentle on hair and use good hair products. Also, it was last minute they accomodated me which is great. When I reached they immediately started giving me the treatment...no time waste. They charged me 300aud for keratin treatment which i feel is slightly over priced. They clearly told me the price...no lies...no extra cost.

Great colourists, friendly staff and great prices. I've been going here every 6-8 weeks for about 3 years, even now that I live 45 min away. My hair is naturally medium-brown however Zoe keeps my hair blonde how I like it and always translates my requests into a result! Sad that Zoe is leaving however the whole team are so welcoming and I see them all giving other people beautiful hair. All the little touches like getting me multiple coffees, everyone saying hi when I come in and never leaving me at the basin too long (my neck gets sore!) make the experience that much nicer.

I cannot praise the salon and staff enough at The Cutting Room. I used to see Cassandra for several years a while back but ended up going to other hairdressers because I moved out of area. I am now back again because the travel more than makes up for the service!! Cassandra is a true wealth of knowledge when it comes to hair, colour and styling. She ensures I am always aware of the process, the best and worst outcome of what I want. Her passion clearly influences her staff because the vibe and energy in the salon is always amazing! 5 stars just doesn't do them justice!!! :)

I highly recommend the Cutting Room, They have done amazing work with my hair and i must say im not a easy client, I have gone here for many hair styles an color treatments, Even being at one point asking for rainbow hair and even tho high maintenance was required it was always done to perfection, The girls are lovely, Especially Cass, Such a great attitude and always treated with respect. Seriously amazing. I've never had the kind of service and attention to my hair that I get at The Cutting Room. Vanessa and Cass have done my hair so far and I've been blown away by their knowledge, expertise and professionalism. I'm always getting positive comments on the graduation of colour in my hair - not to mention the fabulous condition it's in after each visit! The new salon location is brilliant too - a lovely, relaxing environment and still close by but also out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Riverstone.

First time client to The Cutting Room and I was so impressed and thankful for their time and effort. Alice was excellent in listening to what I wanted whilst also being helpful in using her knowledge to further guide the final choice. I walked away with the best hair cut/colour I’ve ever had. The team members supported and worked really well around each other. Extra little things to top off the service, being given an upfront quote and being offered refreshments and little snacks whilst having your hair done.

This was my first time getting my hair bleached so I was super hesitant (I also have super thin hair and I didn’t want to further damage my hair). The cutting room catered to my specific hair type and made me feel so comfortable and they nailed the exact hair style I wanted and I keep getting compliments non stop Not to mention the actual catering they offer so you’re snacking and sitting comfortably. Beautiful results. My hair colour was so grown out, and my ends were unhealthy, and I walked out with my hair feeling so fresh and healthy. Had a colour put through as well, a very nice brunette from bec who is great to have conversations with. The results were amazing, but the vibe also was great. Cass has a smile and laugh that lights up the salon! What more could you ask for. They also have a fun drink menu as well. What an amazing salon. Will be back 100%. Thanks so much.

I came in after cutting all of my hair off just before lockdown, unsure what to do with the mop on my head and seeking guidance. Cass is a very talented and wonderful woman who made me feel like a BILLION bucks today. She did a brilliant job dying my hair from dark brown to light blonde with perfect blending so my roots have room to grow. The head massage felt euphoric, and the service is outstanding. Ive never experienced a hair salon this fantastic in my life. Worth the money, worth the 1hr+ drive.

This is hands down the best salon I’ve ever been to! They take the time to sit down with you to discuss what you want to do and steps required to achieve that. They are really experienced. I was attended my Alisha for haircut. She really understood what I wanted and explained me at each and every step of haircut as my previous haircut was not done right. I was totally happy with the new haircut which was done right as expected. I'll definitely go back and highly recommend this place. The saloon is hidden in the suburb but very posh and well maintained.

This morning, I attended the Cutting Room for a consultation, cut, and colour. What a wonderful morning , after the consultation where I was actually listened to, I was given the most beautiful hair cut and colour I have ever had. Finally found a salon that had experience, care and skills. The ladies here have treated me so well in the past year and a half that I’ve been there. Their online system makes it easier to plan and book which is convenient for me. Aimee has looked after my hair and she is a Wonder Woman - skillful and knows her colour. I have never been to a salon where the staff care as much about you and your hair as at The Cutting Room. The girls have managed to easily get my hair from black to blonde whilst maintaining the integrity of my hair and making it look amazing. I will never go anywhere else to have my hair done, they are amazing!

Made a last minute appointment online, just for a trim. The salon is beautiful and the hairdressers are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can order mimosas and nibbles too which I thought was an amazing touch! I usually just salon hop, but I think I've found the one for me!

I came here when it first opened and they did an amazing job, but unfortunately, they only cut female's hair now. Edit: Not everyone wants a fade from a barber, I'm just glad there are other female ran hairdressers that are willing to cater to anyone.
