Quaint publet selling craft beer. Seats outside and on deck outside, some seats inside. Byo food. Not a great deal of heating, so will need to rug up on cool winter's night. However, on a warm summer night it would be fine and very busy. On the night we visited, it was busy, due to a brother and sister duo called Grace-well making their debut. The bar service was very friendly, helpful and fast. I must compliment them on that. (Suggestion: maybe a small menu from either a local fish and chips or pizza shop would boost both businesses). It was a good night's entertainment at a small publet. If the entertainment is as good as it was on the night we visited, then I would thoroughly recommend you check publet out.

Excellent little micropub. It have a very comfortable/cosy atmosphere. These people know what they are doing. Excellent range of craft beer and gin. Food is via local take away shops. The venue is all single level yet it is situated within a confined space so it is not very disability friendly. The staff are super friendly the music totally relaxing and the choice of seating should suit all types. There are tables outside on the street with heaters and awnings for those with pets or smokers. A must visit when in the area and especially after a walk up the 1000 steps/ Lyrebird track.

Love this place! They have lots of taps on rotation so they always have new beers to try and a great selection of craft beers. Cool vibes with a lovely outdoor area with heaters for cold nights. The service is amazing. One time when a heater wasn't working they gave us blankets. I love that you can bring or order food from nearby eateries, what a great way to support the local businesses. Highly recommend.

Had a late afternoon visit and choice of tables. Very friendly and accommodating venue with fantastic selection of drinks. You ultimately get what you pay for with boutique and craft beers and spirits and the Fat Goat has a great selection and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Enjoyed the food, had cheese board and their chunky chips and liked the look of their menu. Will be going back.

I've been there a few times since they've opened and it's been a great time every time. The people running the place have been welcoming every time, the food is top notch, there's plenty of great beer and gin to choose from and the people serving know it really well. Pulls a crowd of good people and there's room to park your push bike within view our the front. I love the fat goat.

Great local craft beer spot with lots of good options on tap. Nice outdoor seating, mostly stools inside. Use the QR code to order a tasty dinner from Upwey Pizza or Mexican from newly opened Shane on Main and it will be delivered to your table.

The best thing about this place is the beer. It's fresh, interesting, and tasty. However there are not too many reasons for me to return. Having great beer is not enough. There is almost no food, it's on a town street, there's no garden bar, it's quite small, it's a bit too busy. Etc. Nice beer though!

Different variety of served alcohol, in a cosy outdoor area. This place offers trivia nights & game nights throughout the week nights. I'm told they don't serve food but you can bring food in from other local places. A great environment to catch up with friends over drinks.

Great spot in upwey for a cheeky bev. They were out of the wine we wanted however suggested another drop and it was so good we ended up buying two bottles to take with us. Nice for a winter spot too with lots of good heating outside

Fantastic little brewery. We arrived on a very busy night with no booking and Steph went above and beyond to make a table for us. There is large range of drinks available and you can bring in food from any restaurant, this place is amazing, highly recommended

On a dreary winters day a shinning light ! A lovely bottle of red, expressive musicians, yummy food and the obligatory dance - wonderful way to push away the winter blues, ciao Lou and Ava …

Great place to pull in and have a drink when the music's on. It's absolutely lovely drinks for a little bit pricey, but realistically most of them are locally sourced and high quality.
