A very interesting little bar, nestled in the corner of the old National Australia Bank building on Queen Street. It has a a very extensive range of whiskeys and a large range of beer, wine and other spirits. We were there with a very large group of people and the venue is probably not really designed for a super large group. We all pre-ordered some of the toasted sandwiches, and while very tasty, they did take approx 30-40 minutes to be served. There were only three staff on behind the bar and the volume of people was really too much for just three staff. On a quieter day, it would be a really interesting and secluded place to have an after work drink or small meeting. It has a really quaint vibe inside and is quite pleasant. If you are looking for an old world charm type of bar (think lots of wood panelling), then definately try the Gresham Bar out.

My first time visiting The Gresham was fantastic. Classy and traditional vintage bar style. My bar tender, Tom has a great knowledge of the Bourbons on offer and with over 100 available thats impressive. He was very attentive while making drinks and managing staff and customer's with ease. He was happy to offer some very nice recommendations. There's a great range of lower to mid range price offerings as well as some for the more adventurous. Specialist Bourbon bars rare and I'm very happy to have found this one. With what looks like 200 plus scotches, as well as rum, gin, vodka and others as well as a good selection of cocktails, there are pleanty of reasons to return. I will return with friends and highly recommend the experience to others. Thanks for a great night.

I held my 30th at the Gresham in June, and I can happily say that it was a fantastic success. They were able to easily accommodate for thirty-five guests in the Back Room, and the event manager was happy to help along every step of the way. The drinks were delicious, and the Spirit Experience was a great experience for the whiskey drinkers in my group. The staff provided the very best service, and were happy to accommodate us wherever possible. Our personal server for the night was also an absolute delight to work with. All in all, a wonderful venue for an unforgettable night - I'll definitely be back!

Take a step back in time and reconnect with the history of Brisbane! Always impressed with the different craft beers on tap and the range of liquor to choose from. I have still yet to try a drink I have not liked! If I’m not meeting my friends, I love to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink by myself and admire the paintings and high ceilings. Warm and cosy interior, stylish outdoor seating, central location, vintage vibe, friendly staff and very clean. The only bad thing is tap beer comes in one size glass and it’s a little expensive. But no other bar in Brisbane CBD boasts as much class and swagger!

Quick service from very competent staff give a rundown on adult beverages available. Whether your choice is the house speciality of rare Highland single malt whisky, cocktail, excellent red wines or a craft beer.. It's all here. The historic decor, cast iron ceiling and vintage sepia prints are very interesting.. the ambience of the bar reminds one of an Edinburgh bar on the Royal Mile.. Highly recommended! A must try!!

What a place! Enclosed with the famous Queensland National Bank building in the bustle of Brisbane CBD is the Gresham Bar. A fantastic bar that speaks wanders about the marked change over the proceeding decades of Brisbane! With a wide array of whiskies, American whiskies and rums plus cockatiels and wines you will be hard pressed not to be able to find the drink of choice! Prices are very reasonable given the range on offer at any given time and bar staff always there to help you make that final decision if you are unsure! Definitely a hit!

Nice place visually but sadly service doesn’t match an initial good first impression. We went as a group of four people, unfortunately we received more than a poor service from a female waitress. Whole lot of attitude from the start, rudeness and eyes rolling when she was asked a question. She made it obvious that she hates her job and is doing us a favour. We had to request a change of a waiter serving our table. I only feel bad for the owners as staff like that waitress successfully drives people away from their business.

Visited yesterday for lunch and was served by the friendly staff. The ham and cheese toastie washed down by Prosecco was excellent. Grisham’s is all about the peace and calm during the day right in the heart of the CBD. Many of Brisbane’s beautiful heritage buildings were knocked down in the 70s. This magnificent building was preserved by the National Bank. Grisham’s occupies the left corner of this magnificent building and immediately takes the visitor or tourist back in time. Mon to Fri 5am to 2am, Sat 5pm to 8pm.

Our team visited on a Friday afternoon after a work event - we all had a fabulous time with superb drinks food and cocktails in a sumptuous historical environment. A perfect way to end a working week - we look forward to our next visit .

I've been there about three times for their cocktails and I've never been disappointed. I ordered a mudslide cocktail tonight and it was AMAZING! I drank it so quickly because it was just what I was looking for. I love the vibe in the bar. I like how there's an area with cozy couches. This is my type of bar because it's not too loud. I could imagine bringing my friends there after work, sitting on a couch and having good conversations with them. That's kind of what I like in a bar.

Great cocktail and beer selection, excellent vibes. This is a cool small space to grab a few drinks with friends and they serve food late here as well. The drink menu is huge, so order a drink to sip while you look through it. I had a few beers and some bourbon, but they also make awesome cocktails. Food wise we went with the cheese plate, but you can definitely find a few things to go with. Needless to say we will probably be back if we have time on this trip!

This is a grand old Victorian style bar, incredibly impressive upon entry, with well stocked spirits and a good range of beers. But it’s dirty and dusty. It feels like the place hasn’t been cleaned in years. The walls, windows and lampshades are covered in dust bunnies, and the windows are filthy. A good spring clean would really elevate this place and make patrons feel like the owners actually cared about offering a full experience to match the price point.

What an awesome late night treat! My wife and I were in Brisbane for a holiday, and following a late night concert we came across ‘The Gresham Bar’.. Great atmosphere, superb service, gnarly delicious cocktails & a tasty, humble toastie to help down the booze at 1am in the morning. We will be back!

Super funky bar! Easy to walk past on the street as not much signing so you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem, which you definitely have! Beers on tap and bottled and wines available! But the main draw is the extensive selection of Scotch, Whiskeys and Rums! Most cocktails they offer are whiskey or rum based. The staff were super friendly and working in tandem so everyone was getting a positive experience. Would recommend!

Had an outstanding time at the venue yesterday.Vibes were phenomenal and the drinks were exquisite. Particularly enjoyed the knowledge about what they were serving. A waitress named Ashley meticulously explained the process of making a cocktail to me! Brilliant and informed customer service! Highly recommended in my books. Will be returning. I like this place, ive been here three times over the past year or two. It can be a bit noisy but outside or in the back room is usually better. The service was excellent Friday night. I thoroughly enjoyed the Soave by the glass. We really enjoyed the cheese platter, olives and hummus. Great to share between 4 people. Definitely a place I will continue to return to.

I've been here several times, its a great place to relax and have a conversation. The bar staff really know their stuff and will happily chat and explain the huge variety of whiskey and other drinks they have. On occasion they have whiskey tasting nights here and I highly recommend attending one if you want to learn a little more about whiskey.

Great customer service and aesthetic with endless whiskey, cocktail and other spirit choices. One critique would be the music 90s rock just wasn't befitting for this establishments look and feel, some smooth jazz or low-key gatsby instrumental would improve the vibe. We'll be back again.

Sitting at the Gresham for 20 mins now. 2 barmen behind bar can clearly see us but oblivious to any form of service. Had to get drink menus ourselves. Normally great service but obviously not interested in any loyal patronage. Death and taxes far superior service.

This bar is a quality whiskey bar tucked in a lane in the CBD. With an amazing selection of whiskey and drinks of all kinds. A little on the top end of $ spectrum but you have to pay for quality so not that big of an issue. The old fashion was too notch and would recommend

For Brisbane it was a fascinating heritage building and decor. Friendly staff, have a chat with them, let them know your taste and preference, you won't regret it at all. Good variety of drinks, and a few options for snacks. We had a happy night there.

Really enjoyed myself. I went to try some very expensive whiskey that I was interested investing in. What a great way to do that. Just do it, worry about the cost some other time.

The Gresham is an establishment with a great reputation, and they always live up to it. Outside seating is perfect for an afternoon glass of whiskey, and inside seating is perfect for an evening catchup.
