The Schomburg Center, I went to see historical photographs and I was surprised to see Black comics, I did not expect it, they have a good collection. If I had not visited the museum I would never have known that Black comics existed, my visit was excellent. I think if you visit you will enjoy it. Recommended More

One of the best libraries you will visit. The shelves are stocked with all sorts of books. There are events that are awesome. On top of that, it is very ethnocentric when it comes to black art and it’s many expressions. If that’s important to you. It’s modern and top notch. More

They weren't fully open, but I was still able to walk around. The staff were really nice and polite. There was a short movie being shown downstairs, and they only asked for a donation, and they offered donuts and coffee. It's definitely worth the visit. More

Great museum, I did have a great time and learnt few facts. However I was expecting to learn more things about the life of Black people in Harlem back then. I recommend this place, it is worth to visit.

How can I keep this pithy? The Schomburg Center is the heart and soul, the mecca of pan-African culture in the historic neighborhood of Harlem. If you haven't visited yet, go yesterday! More

I found the most interesting documentation on the African American experience in this library. The exhibition on the new prison system and the inmates' artwork were very fascinating. More

So many books and exhibits to see here I could go on and on but two that stuck out were the exhibits for Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee as well as the one for Langston Hughes.
