Had my 21st birthday in the upstairs function room, and what a night it was! The staff were hands down some of the best and most fun people I had the joy of working with to make my night as special as possible, nothing was ever too big of an ask and they catered for every wish and vision I had. My guests and I loved the space, from the food to the endless choice of drinks, which was a huge draw card as not many venues offer an open bar tab as part of their functions package. As an event management student and a bit of a perfectionist leaving such a special occasion in the hands of someone else was a little daunting, Nikki who looked after the entire event deserves the biggest shoutout ever! She went above and beyond to make everything perfect, especially when there were a few issues with the neon sign we hired. She even managed to make time to have a boogie with us, we all adored her! I wouldn't of wanted my night to go any other way, so beyond happy and grateful. If you're looking for a space for your next event this is absolutely the place. Reasonably priced, unlimited options, a great team to plan with and a blank canvas to make uniquely yours. Could not recommend enough :)

I need to start with saying everyone I was with got their meals and it looked amazing and they said it was good but I would have to say I was left quite disappointed with my food… everyone on my table had gotten their meals way before me and then a waiter and then again a waitress asked if we were waiting on anything else and I advised I was waiting for my pulled pork sliders .. when I got the meal I was actually shocked to be looking at a burger bun that had been cut into quarters to make up to look like sliders … I have worked in hospitality before and had made sliders and this is not it.. the bread bun was also a little hard and the pulled pork was quite cold. it was just disappointing to have paid $21.90 for this… I would have appreciated if someone had said to me they had run out of buns or filling to tell me and I would have happily gotten something else.. Or if the sliders do look like this please update the photo on your menu when you order it and please cut the price down as I don’t think this reflects on the meal I got Service and atmosphere was good but my meal I got not that great :(

This was my first time having a sporting globe meal. I ordered take away due to lockdown in Melbourne, the food was still hot when I got home and the beer was still cold. The actual Parmas themselves were cooked very well. The chicken was moist and tender. The chips were crispy and the sweet potato fries were delicious. I also had the after burner wings which packed plenty of spice! However lacked actual flavour. The biggest letdown was the serving size, the flavour was okay but not great. I was still quite hungry after eating. Based on what I ate I wouldn't go to sporting globe for the food however the atmosphere seems electric whenever I walk past. 2 years later - I thought I would try sporting globe again. Venue and staff are still fantastic with a great atmosphere! Food very poor and lackluster. Easily the smallest Parma I've been served and the buffalo sauce wasn't spicy and had a weird sour taste. I definitely won't come here for food but if you want a few drinks to watch sport live then it's the place to go.

We came here for dinner and had their special for the night, Parma. It was tolerable had to add salt to get more favour in it, but that's just my opinon. Now service from the bar chick, holy gosh....the establishment needs to check the people they hire on how they interact with your paying customers. No smile, no warm responses from her just cold blunt responses. The staff that bought the food out was nicer. In this establishment you have to get your own cutlery and servette, they don't give it to you, so heads up. So would I recommend this place to people? No, if you want good customer service and maybe a tad better tasting food. If your young or of other age and don't care how you get treated and like that sort of atmosphere then go for it. We gave them a go but wasn't for us.

Made a well-in-advance reservation for a Matilda match. When we got there, they gave us a table right in front of a massive screen, so close and uncomfortable. When we asked for a different table, they made so much fuss about the other tables being reserved, though we had reserved too. They gave us a different table and turns out 60% of the tables werent taken. The service is terrible - the girls at the bar are in their own world chatting away, while there is a line at the bar waiting to be served. 0 customer service. Even while serving, they were continuing to talk to each other, ignoring the customers. To top it all, the kitchen lost our order and we had to ask, and they said they had lost the order and were making it then. Definitely do not recommend this place and never going back.

From the get go, Lani helped us with our big work booking and was so accomating and helpful! However as it progressed it was clear the shining star was Nikki!! She made everything so easy and just absolutely fantastic. We've been hesitant to go out in a big group but Nikki made everything work so well we will make it our choice of venue from now! I personally enjoyed it so much I stayed back and had a meal with my friends after and even decided to book my birthday here and cancelled the other place I had booked because I was so impressed by the service!!! Nikki is clearly good at what she does and should be commended for the way she runs the place! Can't wait to come back

Really nice, brand new venue. It’s very modern. They have various specials every day if the week, so it’s worth checking ahead what’s on offer. We found the service to be quite average. You order everything through an app and I couldn’t find the item, which was on the hard menu — the staff member I approached to help me was completely disinterested. Food arrived promptly and the portions were good. Prices are reasonable. I’d definitely try it again (would like to check out their Richmond venue). Oh, and as I registered as a member during my birthday month, they credited my account with $25, which is a pretty sweet deal. I’m unsure whether or not that credit expires tho.

I had the steak with surf, it came with chips and salad. My friend had the calamari salad, that had the option of changing the protein to chicken. The steak was beyond over cooked and inedible. The salad came with half chicken and half calamari, which we were told could not be changed, despite the fact my friend does not eat seafood. The staff, despite being very young, were polite and as helpful as they could be given the restrictions of their roles. Most definitely will not be eating here again or recommending anyone I know do so

Had dinner here tonight. Staff were friendly and polite. Place had a nice buzz. Food was good. Great chips and dips. Burgers were good. Happy though that we got them on the Thursday specials and only paid around $16 to $18 for them and not the standard prices of around $28 each.!! Look , we get top , comparable burgers from grilled or Yo My Goodness for much less with i feel better patties / buns / ingredients . All in all this is a good sports bar if a bit overpriced. Daily specials help soften the blow.

Great sports bar. A tad over priced but delicious food. Staff were pretty slow and uninterested. We were waiting on a cocktail and watching 2 staff standing around and no one making the drink. Went up and asked and they simply said "it's coming" and then slowly went over and started. We got a jug of drinks and one of the cups had sticky lipstick still on it. Great set up with so many TVs and booths with individual TVs that are changeable to what you want to watch. There is a very easy to use app as well.

Came here around midday on a Saturday just to check out the rooftop bar. Although the main downstairs bar was large and plenty of space for watching sports the rooftop was the highlight. Glad we came early as it filled up quickly after midday. Food and drinks were a bit pricey compared to the Irish tavern next door and Knox tavern across the carpark the roof top bar was hard to beat. Happy to come here again but would prefer the meals and drinks from the Irish tavern next door... Maybe grab a meal next door before popping upstairs to watch a main event.

Most horrific experience I have ever had Meals were 20 minutes apart, some at table finished before others started. Well done steak for my partner far from well done My chicken wings were RAW and when questioned the staff tried to state was just a blood vessel My son and I both got 1kg platter, his had much more than mine, in addition My ribs were hard like rubber where his were tender and nice and hot NEVER again at this location Thankfully I did not pay for my raw meal however now have to find somewhere else to get a meal !!!

Wow what a joke can’t wait to buy the owners house when this fails. Honestly get your money and just set it on fire. If you like frozen patties that can’t be cooked properly, terrible staff that cant be bothered to work and waiting forever then this is your place. If not there are really nice restaurants across Melbourne called McDonald’s that I can recommend more than this joke of a place. Please do not waste your time or money here you will regret it deeply. I have to go wash the smell of raw meat out of my hands now.

SPORTING HEAVEN! If you love Sports, a few drinks & food, then you need to visit this spot. Having moved from another state, I feel as if this place should exist Australia wide. Great food, great staff and more enjoyable with great drinks. They have a loyalty app where you can bank points and use them later for food, drinks & frequently run competitions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new local. 10/10 ‍♂️️‍♂️‍♂️⛷️⛳⚾⛹‍♂️⚽

Had the 1kg meat platter, was absolutely delicious, perfect ribs that fell right of the bone, chicken wings were cooked to perfection, highly recommended!

My Wife , Son and myself went for dinner on 23/7/23 for my Sons' birthday, food was only warm and my order was incorrect plant Parma instead of vegetarian also ordered Great Northern beer and was served Carlton ordered beer battered chips and ended up with normal thin ones. All in all a very poor disappointing experience particularly as we had been a number of times previously and it was good. I doubt we would return again.

Worst service I've experienced, I had to bascially yell to get staff attention. We ordered entrees that came out AFTER main. We receive two of our main meals, and had to wait then ask for the other meals, same with desert. Staff seemed to actively avoid customers, this was despite there being hardly anyone there. Definitely will not go back. Food was OK, but nothing special and ruined by the absolutely appealing service.

Normal bistro food, but steaks were next level of cook time so if you want something medium - ask for medium rare cos my friend asked for medium and got really well done!! Waiting staff were friendly but hard to get /call as we were seated at some very low, closed up seating area. My Korean glazed chicken wings were great tho.

Spacious interior and well spaced out seating. Comfy black and red chairs. A great range of dishes from wings, burgers, wraps, grills and parmas. Cauliflower popcorn with garlic aioli - a spicy light batter with a mix of spices. Majority of the cauliflower was uncooked with a few that were juicy . Grandslam burger is so juicy with the most crisp bun.

We visited Knox and had a great time. Our table had a variety of food restrictions and the staff were fabulous to explain everything to us and double check if they weren’t sure. Shout out to Raoul, Kyle, and Ambah who made our visit great - thank you!

I saw my food sitting at the kitchen for more than 10 minutes, also waited 20 minutes before that for our meals. Then while we were still eating someone took away our plate that still had food on it. Didn’t even ask, just took it. Had no time to say anything. Worst service ever. More

Has a wonderful meal here, as did my partner. The food was exactly the right portion, the flavours balanced perfectly, and there was no skimping on the salads. Only critique would be not to use the black charcoal burgers, and for the water glasses to be clean inside and out.

We had such a great experience here all thanks to Andrew! He catered for us as a walk in group and also for my children's allergies. Exceptional staff member. We be back all thanks to him.

A great place to be hangout with friends or family. But sometimes can get a bit noisy when crowded. Price is reasonable with good quality of food. They also have different special offering everyday. 1 star less due to food arrived was not hot (it was warm getting cold).

Absolutely loved it. The prawns in the white sauce accompanied by grilled sourdough is a nice seasonal winter dish, try it while still available. And for the rest of the season, the chicken wings !

Best Parma I've had in ages. The chameleon high ball cocktail also went down a treat. Staff friendly. QR ordering can be a bit clunky but food always comes out quick and is delicious.

Came here for the Australia vs Argentina world cup soccer game at 5.45am and the venue was packed. Service was excellent and food served eventhough limited, it was tasty. Well done!
