"Australia they give the town council power to abuse the people and animals"
"AustraliaPost being located in this building is the main and probably only reason I've given 3 stars"
"ARCADE THAT CONNECTS TO EMPORIUM CENTRE Most useful as an access point to Emporium Melbourne from Elizabeth Street, the Strand Arcade does contain some interesting shops"
"It’s okay shopping mall"
Basic accommodation, nothing special for a serviced apartment. Should appeal to families more as you have the space and convenience of kitchenette with fridge and microwave. But for the business traveller, the internet connection is poor, when I arrived I was getting 250kbps and most pages failed to load. The place upgraded to a 400mbps service and this was just about usable, not great, but usable. But breakfast is not worth your time going to see it, go our to eat or there are several supermarkets in a few mins walk. Location is the best part of this place. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Australia they give the town council power to abuse the people and animals. You need a permit to have a dog. Animals not a business, you do not get income from dog or cat. Lots of money to care of them. No butcher to get meat. Find a volunteers to take care of dog. When you get a dog, you are volunteering to take care of dog, you dont get income. City council abuses the people and animal like a mouse in a house taking food without paying. Pet is like this. City council does not allow income from animal, has to be free. They want to verything income.
AustraliaPost being located in this building is the main and probably only reason I've given 3 stars. It's a busy AusPost, but moves quick thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. It's a small shopping mall with just a handful of shops. Parking is the most disappointing. Very narrow entry and exit. I've tried Early Bird parking many times and haven't succeeded once to secure a sport because the quota is always full. Ended up paying $60 per day for parking when I had to drive to the city for work. The parking location however is convenient.
ARCADE THAT CONNECTS TO EMPORIUM CENTRE Most useful as an access point to Emporium Melbourne from Elizabeth Street, the Strand Arcade does contain some interesting shops. Sushi Sushi is here and is quite popular as a lunch option (especially to takeaway). Veronica Maine, Australia Post and ASICS among the tenants here in a fairly modern and well maintained arcade.
It’s okay shopping mall. It’s clean and new, so everything looks very nice but it’s quite small. Not entirely sure why it’s not an extension of emporium but it’s got a good variety of stores for its size. Most of it is quite upper-tier shopping (cos, acne studios)
Amazing colours outside and inside clean and tidy with shopping floors stacks up in levelsThis is one of the place to visit with your choices of fashion, shoes, jewelries and much more good city location with all public transport connects from here.
Elegant shopping in a quaint environment. Good to get away from the busy and noisy George Street (as the street is dug up along its whole length for the new light railway - tramway)
Has only a few shops here for shopping. The opening hours rather short, no late night shopping here even it's just right next to emporium and bourke street mall. :(
Fun place to hang out with friends or just bout anyone. Lots of intriguing shops to explore and lot of food places to try something new. A must place in Melbourne.
Australia Post is located here. Saturday 9am–5pm The staff are friendly and helpful, when it comes to using packet self-service payment consoles and stamping.
Only a few shops in this little shopping area. The interior design of the shopping area are pretty unique. There’s also an alfresco cafe along the lane
I use it mostly as a thoughfare, to avoid having to go all the way around the corner from Elizabeth Street, and turn left into Little Bourke Street.
Colourful building from the outside. It's connected to Emporium and together it makes a pretty big shopping centre. There's also a post office.
Lots of funshopping and window shopping, several food courts on different levels. Really good bargains eofy especially in the designer clothes.
Lots of things to see if you really want to do shopping. We stayed at Somerset on Elizabeth, great choice, so we just walked around CBD area.
Has a lot of fashion related shops, and it connects to the Emporium. Parking is a hassle though. Food options are good as well.
The Strand has been closed for some years and has been in a state of development for just as long! …
It's a very nice place. If you wanna enjoy victoria secret graphical images of models.they are just next door.
Amazing old mall to wander through. Lots of shops to find treasures in. Plenty of architecture to look at too
This is basically a corridor entrance to emporium.. Or am I missing something? …
Great little mall in the heart of the CBD. Food court to suit- awesome sushi eatery
An average selection of retailers. A little bit outdated and could use renovation.
Great arcade with a wide variety of fashion focused shops. Had a lot of fun here.
Historic arcade of boutique shops and cafes. Haighs chocolates is my favourite.
Really enjoyed coming here. Busy as always and would love to come here again.
It's very nice shopping mall and I'd like to go to it each time I go to CBD.
So many different store. There are alot of small walk through pla?as here.
The Strand is a great place to connect with friends and Emporium Melbourne
Needs improvement to make it more than a walkway and become a destination
just wonder, why Google not change it back the name call Emporium Centre?
Australia Post Shop always a great experience with very helpful staff
Average shopping mall & pales in comparison with 2 giants next door
Centrally located, and has a large Post Office located inside.
Lots of shops and places to eat, great vibes, beautiful decor
A basic shopping mall in itself, but linked to the Emporium.
A very nice center. But expensive, especially the parking
Great shopping with a variety of restaurants inside.
