What a lovely little shop, all secondhand books at great prices and most books are in great condition. If they aren't then they are the reasonable price of a dollar or two :D this shop is smaller than its sister store in Selby but it was lovely to have a browse through and the staff member was pleasant but didnt hassle us so we were free to browse and didn't feel pressured to buy anything (even though we ended up with about 5 or 6 books!). The store is in the middle of the Main Street in Belgrave and there are public toilets across the road if you need and there are many cafes a few shops away. If you're walking the main Street I highly recommend a stop here!

I live locally to the Book Shop. It had changed hands 2 months ago. I spoke to the girl who was helpful with my queries. She said the business is open currently 4 days a week. Her husband Sam and herself have a passion for reading. The shop is neat and plenty of room to move around while looking at the books. Through The Looking Glass sells Second hand books and also has a good variety of older books.

If you're in Melbourne or fortunate enough to visit this fantastic city, be sure to explore both the Dandenong ranges and this incredible bookstore. The perfect blend of color matching in their decor, unique book arrangements, and the warm, friendly encounter with the staff creates a truly memorable experience that will stay with you.

Gorgeous, quirky little bookstore. Like something out of a book really. A little bit magical! Staff are amazing and helpful and there is always something new to find whether it's books or knicknacks or decoration. It may be tiny but you can truly lose yourself in there!!! Love this place so much ❤❤❤❤

Really lovely cosy little shop. A little cramped, but it adds to the charm. Impressive selection of books from old classics, rare finds, and modern favourites. Cashier/staff were really nice and friendly too. Will definitely be returning in the future. I love the atmosphere.

I’m so excited to have this little gem of a bookstore in the hills. What was once chaotic & uninviting has been transformed into a beautiful space to browse for literary treasures. The new owners are lovely and passionate. A must visit place while in the Mt Dandenong’s.

Love the new look & having cheerful new owners! It's great to be able to see the full range now. Can't wait for you guys to get a coffee machine in so I can grab one on my way to the train station :)

Sign in the door says it is open Fridays from 11am-4:30pm. No mention of any closure on the day I visited. Stood around waiting til 11:15am with no sign of it opening and went home.

Cute little shop. New owners have made room to move and are categorising the books. Even a colouring corner for the kiddos now.
