Well this time working in the TOORONGA shopping centre was so bad. I froze the whole 7 days. The centre management lady Emma was a b......h My managed and myself asked nicely if the heating could be turned on and they did do it after 4 visits to the office and 4 emails from my manager. But after 2 hours it was back to freezing again. When do you ever need to have 5 layers of clothing and a heater work in a centre. We will never return there again. Don’t go to Sweet Temptation, the girl there is so snobby. Nice to your face and when she sees you anywhere else in the centre she looks the other way. What happen to smiling and being polite. I can’t fault anyone else but it was a very bad experience. And know I’m so sick from that week with a bad flu. Off work for a few weeks.
There is a guy sitting in a small space behind a gate at the left hand side of roundabout on the way to the tooronga village underground car park. The door guy must has some mental issues and his aggressive behaviour really freaks me out today. I was simply asking for a direction as I was looking for pick up something from Coles. The guy has east European accent and was talking loudly and very rude. And he was talking in his own language. But I can tell it wasn’t something good at all. How can Coles hire a guy like this to work for them? The guy got so angry for no reason and I don’t know why what triggers him. Coles please contact me for more details regarding to this guy. He is almost ready to punch in my face.
Your run of the mill, local, bare minimum shopping centre with stores containing your basic requirements for everyday living. Coles where you can get your groceries, a book store, bakery, fruit shop, Nando's, subway, a cafe and an excellent key cutting and repair shop (Shoe Express), Amcal pharmacy which is opened until 7PM everyday, very convenient.. and a few other shops which you can always look on the Tooronga Village website for the whole list. Great if your a local or in the area but definitely not a fashion capital, if your looking for a shopping centre to do more then just your grocery shopping, it's definitely the wrong kind of shopping centre for you.
I need to go into Tooronga because it's my local chemist there as well as my local Coles. Unfortunately everytime I drive out of carpark the 2 lanes with boom gates always malfunction! You have to reverse out of the lane you are in because boom won't go up. So you then go into second lane and the same thing occurs! Then a vehicle or 2 come up behind you so they can exit as well but everyone is stuck! It is not good enough. I have limited time like most people and this is pathetic. They really need to just get rid of the non working booms!!
The COLES here is PHENOMENAL!! The customer service is better than any supermarket I’ve been to and when you’re a local the regular employees always make a note to have a chat to you in the self service aisle! There are a great collection of shops here and they have just about everything - pharmacy, massage parlours, beauty / skin therapy, a fresh fruit and veg shop, juice bar, health food shop, optometrist, places to eat! And more it’s great and you can always get a park downstairs!!!
Coles have a very large store in Stockland Tooronga village. With underground car parking and escalator access to the shops, shopping is relatively easy. Car parking entry and exits could be widened to improve driving conditions when attempting to locate a free car park. The shops are well dispersed making the shopping experience enjoyable and convenient. Click and Collect services 4 Coles are managed through a designated and allocated pick up point which is not in store.
Dominated by the Coles supermarket, but with a useful selection of other shops - grogshop, butcher, greengrocer, baker, chemist, news agent, bookshop, etc - as well as a few cafes & restaurants. The Coles is probably the most pleasant Coles I've visited, with plenty of room, a good range of products, and usually short queues. There must be an advantage to being so close to HQ. Parking on the upper level can be a bit chaotic, but the lower level is fine.
Decent Coles and First Choice Liquor. Apart from the takeaway Boost Juice and Sushi Sushi stores, there was a Subway and a sushi & mixed Asian rice bowls place, and two cafes. So, not the place to go for lunch. Otherwise, a few speciality shops including an Amcal Pharmacy and a Scicluna's greengrocer. This centre could get great benefit from a significant expansion by adding a Kmart and a food court, and making the Coles store larger.
Apart from Coles, i dont come hwre for anything else. They do have bakers delight, a tour agency, Nandos, a fish and chips shop, a rolled sushi shop, a Thai Chinese restaurant in the complex. They also have a dentist and a boutique green grocer if you don't like buying grocery from Coles. Plenty of parking in the basement is very handy. And they also have a clothing alteration place in the basement by the escalator
First day working in a shop inside this supermarket, gave my employer my details to get a parking permit starting from the day. When coming out of the parking, it showed 12$ charge and tried to talk to them about the issue and guess what, they’re not gonna listen to you. The guy said we won’t let you out until you pay the charges! What a disappointment on very first day!! Wish I could give zero star.
Tooronga Village has many food places, juices and tea/coffee places. They have one of the best coffee shop. Biggest Coles supermarket in Victoria. Subway, Sushi place, Meat shop, fresh vegetable market. Tooronga village also has good variety of clothes shops, pharmacy and optical shops. Tooronga village also has cinema. It is very close to the Coles Headquarter and during Lunch time it is quite busy.
Great service and layout, with nice selections of retail and grocery stores. My favorite is the Italian gourmet shop , their fresh market fruit and vegetables, great selection of cured meat and icecream. Coles in this shopping center is massive and liquor store next to it will match Dan Murphy's prices if you ask them. I like that there's a 15 minute parking for quick in and out grab.
Nice spread of shops including pharmacy, Coles supermarket, bottle shop, butcher and fishmongers. Its interesting to note that the butchers is one of the few places in the area that sells chicken fillets with the skin on, which is a bonus for some recipes. There are also a number of restaurants and cafes which top off the experience. The underground car park is nice and clean as wel.
This is quite a small shopping centre with a really good Coles at the heart of it. Boutique butchers, a couple of cafes, a sushi place as well as a few other specialty stores and a car wash. There are also plenty of car parking options without the need to pay when your just there for a short while. So, worth popping in for your weekly shop if you’re in the area.
Houses the Coles headquarters so the Coles supermarket here is quite good. Almost everything that can be available at Coles - will be here - including some new trial products. Apart from that couple of good eating joints, bookshop and liquorland. So fairly limited in offering but serves its purpose. Has got plenty of free parking.
The underground carpark is a bit tight for space, but otherwise this shopping centre is great for quality produce, with many organic fresh food stores and a good fast food outlets. Massive Coles supermarket and bottle shop on site as well as a range of retail and service stores. Bright and modern complex with clean amenities.
Ok shopping centre but the butcher particularly is over the top with their pricing. $75 kg lamb cutlets for example. Just because some monied people live in that area it does not warrant them exploiting as there are also a mix of people including young families. It just annoys me when businesses do this.
Terrible and rude management. I have already talk to your retail manager regarding trucks delivering product at 3:00am in Crescent road instead of the loading dock, and I have been basically told it is what it is and the noice comes with living above a shopping centre. so I had to call the council.
Great for restaurants and has two very nice cafes. In terms of supermarkets , it has Coles and an organic food shop which prices are above average. Nothing in terms of clothing shops. It has a news agents and an electronic store but not much else. Very nicely laid out and parking isn't too bad.
The Coles inside the Centre is super large. All the sale items are available. Packing spaces are plenty and it is free for 1st hour. Very clean and modern shopping centre. Located in an excellent location. Easy to access from Monash Freeway, Toorak Rd and Tooronga Rd. Will visit again …
It's a convenient place to shop with free underground parking and a few other stores (bottle shop, butcher, newsagent, pharmacy, etc.) in addition to the Coles flagship store. It looks like they generally have more sales at this Coles than others, so you're bound to get some great deals.
Good range of fresh food stores (excellent green grocer, butcher, and fish), a few fast food options (nandos, subway, sushi, and thai), book shop, newsagent, glasses, alterations, bottle shop, etc. The Coles is pretty lame, with a limited range of stock, but has improved over time.
Small parking lot but automatic. You do t have to wait for the ticket to be printed, no worry about losing it. Only few shops are in the centre. The food court / restaurants are good. We tried coffees and take away food from there and it was nice. First 3 hour parking is free.
Great Centre, Coles flagship store, one of the best fruit shops (Scicluna's), plenty of places to eat, I love the Japanese restaurant as well as the Fish place, super fresh and tasty. Prices are great and the parking is easy and free. Brilliant place to do your shopping.
Alright selection of shops in this small centre. Sushi place is pretty good. Green grocer had fresh veggies. Coles was large with good range but isles are slightly narrow so everyone gets in each other's way a bit, which frustrates the overall experience.
It's got the best Coles here. As it's based at the Coles head office I feel the produce and the variety is outstanding. You also get the best customer service at this place. Other stores are nice. They have added few food joints lately which is a bonus.
It's alright, the nandos staff are lovely and it's a great Coles but all the other stores including the pharmacy are really overpriced. Also that bright smiles white people dentist whatever place is WHACK and UGLY. Do check out Nandos and Coles though
This mall has eveything inside and got so many options inside.. we did eat food and the view is really good. We visited nandos, which is really famous for peri peri flavoured food. Also did some shopping at Coles.. which has almost everything .
Small but good shopping centre. There's a Coles, First choice some really good cake shops, nandos, tatts, meat and fish shop etc. Parking is alright not a lot. Having said that, I was still able to find a car park on Christmas eve lunchtime.1
I’ve done my weekly shop at Coles for years and only recently wandered around the other shops and realised just how great the centre was. The Chinese massage is amazing and so it the beautician and dentist. A lot of essentials in one place!
I was there on Tuesday 26th June 18 evening. I looked for the Eucalyptus spray which was on special. There were none at the shelf. I asked a staff. He checked with his hand stock machine and then told me to wait and checked at the back. He
Good little shopping centre. A few more shops would have made it better. Coles Tooranga is one of the best in Melbourne, probably because it is closest to the Coles head office. Parking hard to find in afternoons especially on weekends.
Modern with lots of undercover parking is a big plus for coming here! They even have a freshly baked flat bread section- hot from the oven! The Coles supermarket here is well complemented by cafes and other shops. I like coming here!
I can’t stand shopping centres but this place is great. Great greengrocers, butchers brilliant Coles run by HQ, there’s a Dymocks, dentist and optometrist. No reason to shop anywhere else really. Parking is also very easy, and free!
Enjoy shopping here, great place for coffe, thrifty my fav new one, got coles, and veggie market jusy adjacent with subway, nandos and viet rolls in around. Explore more for more, just need to walk in there, trust me there's more..✌
Excellent centre with the best pharmacy and Coles in the area. The pharmacy especially are all seem to be further qualified than other places we have been. They are an Amcal plus and really over and beyond on advice and service!
Popped in to get a few things from coles, first time in the centre, but had a look in Scicalunas ... great range of fresh produce and many other delicious things ... spent lots of money ... fantastic shop ... we will be back !
Kind of miserable. Not much diversity of shops. Only one vakery onr butcher etc. No outdoor space. Designed for vehicle acces only. Doesn't connect to the train station just down the road. Could have been so much better.
Nice little shopping village with a medical centre, a very well stocked Coles, First Choice Liquor, green grocer, butcher, cafe and pharmacy. Parking is easy and it's generally quiet for a peaceful shopping experience.
Nice size shopping centre for basic shopping needs, you can window shop the place pretty quickly. Looks like an amazing well presented fruit & veg shop. That alone is worth the visit! Coffee shop makes a good coffee.
Has everything you need for everyday shopping. Large supermarket, liquor store, butcher, seafood, greengrocer, pharmacy, hairdresser, massages and more. Great place for lunch too, with multiple cafes and restaurants.
This place doesn’t have a hairdresser and most of all, they ruined a perfect paid parking setup. Now if you plan on staying longer than 3 hours you can’t pay upfront and they dish out fines. Great innovation - NOT!!
Good small shopping centre the only thing I don't like is the lack of stores and food places some of the shops include Cole's Nandos sushi sushi in Cole's if there was a bit more of a variety it would be a 4 star
Due to its poroximity to the Monash Freeway entry ramps and a rail station, it's really hard to get in or out of this shopping centre during weekdays. It's a decent shopping centre with plenty of parking.
It’s nice place for a quick shopping. Grocery ready food, fruits and vegetables, meet. Can get few restaurants. But no good play area and Indian restaurant. Many India’s come across this shopping center.
This is a suburb you must see to believe. It's the cleanest place l have ever been . You could & l have eaten off the footpath here. The shopping centre is immaculate. 5 stars + another 5 stars 10 stars
Coles as the main store there, which is quite big in size and range of products, it had almost everything you need for groceries. But not many other interesting speciality shops to look and shop around.
Great expectations, of Coles, and other smaller retailers. Amcal pharmacy has welcoming staff; well stocked, Baker's Delight yummy bread, hairdresser, and Liquor Choice - surprisingly big and bright.
Every time I visited this place, my experience has always been pleasant. Coles is huge and clean. I like that there are fresh produce specialty shops. And it's a short walk from Tooronga station too.
Amazing Coles. Now they have gorgeous looking cakes from Mark's as well as baked goods from Laurent. They always seem to have the newest stuff, probably because it's next to their head office …
Need to add more directional and store signages keeping in mind the customers who are visiting for the first time. Although it is amazingly well maintained and offers great deal of shopping options.
Nice local place to pick up groceries without the stress of many people around, especially on the weekends. The shops could do with more variety but overall good considering the size and location.
Beautiful Coles supermarket. Exceptionally clean and very well presented. Has lots of choices for food and drinks. Great bakery with yummy cakes for all occasions. Best Coles l have been too.
Only reason I attend is to have my car washed at "Handwash Co". Every time I drop off my car its comes out like its come from the show room. The shopping centre is small but attracts a crowd.
Went to buy few books, but ended up spending more time having coffee, buying some veggies from Coles and lunch at nando's. Plenty of parking space and a good place to do everyday shopping.
Neighbourhood grocery shopping just got better now that Costi's has opened their fresh seafood store here. Their fish and chips are excellent too! <<<- (regrettably, closed down in 2023)
A very valuable retail hub to surrounding suburbs with a large, full feature Coles, pharmacy, medical suites, restaurants etc. Lots of parking that's free for the average shopping visit.
Shopping centres main draw card is a good Coles super market. There are also several boutique shops and an amazing grocer. You can also get your car washed while you do the shopping.
A great suburban shopping centre - has a fishmonger, butcher, Coles, bottle o, baker's delight and a alterations place as well as a chemist. The parking can be a bit tight sometimes
You'd think Coles would've built a retail wonderland, but it's just another mid-sized, suburban shipping centre, really. Nothing wrong with it; but you wouldn't go out of your way.
What is the norm I guess in modern day small format shopping centres anchored by Coles. It has a decent range of other stores especially fresh produce, meat and poultry and bakery
Very limited range of shops and services. It's looks it's purpose built for the Coles Head Office just 20 meters away. It's hopeless trying to get a car park during peak hours.
Missing variety of a slightly larger centre, it lacks a few food options for lunch time trade. Parking is best on the basement level where ample parking can be found.
Great place for food shopping. I go here daily. One of the best Coles stores I've been to, plus fresh food stores, takeaways, great fish and chicken specialty shops.
Given the Coles headquarters is upstairs, you're looking at the cleanest and nicest Coles supermarket going around in there. There's a few other shops here as well.
Coles here is huge, way better than shopping in town (Toorak village). So much more variety, easy parking, and Boost juice in store best. idea. ever. …
Excellent choice of stores, easy to find car parking spots. Free parking for the first three hours. ATM’s inside the shopping centre. All undercover parking.
Smaller than the usual shopping centre, but has the essentials. Parking became free a few months ago. Clothes shopping? Better go down the road to Chadstone.
Big and spacious, great selection of shops and quite surprisingly a good selection of food, definitely has everything you need from a local shopping centre
I love Tooronga Village. It has everything you want in a compact area. A good place to catch up with neighbours and have a coffee. Easy parking too. Susan
I did not quite make it up to Coles as got caught on a telephone call then realised that the underground parking isn't not free so had to shop elsewhere.
You won't find a better shopping mall. Could use more shops though. The auto washers/cleaners in the parking below are exceptional, I rate them 5/5 also.
Small shopping mall with good ambience and nice variety of eateries. Only thing to keep in mind is parking is free for first 3 hours only during the day.
Small, basic shopping centre. Has a large Coles supermarket and a few general foodcourt options. Pharmacy, tailors, etc. No hairdresser anymore though.
Always parking available, not overly busy. Has a Coles and bottle shop and a chemist. The fish so is great. Has a Nando's and squires loft upstairs
Great place for a pit stop. There is Coles, a few local groceries, subway and on the car park there are two free electric vehicle charging station
Very impressed for a small shopping centre. It has all the essentials; Coles, fish monger, butcher, clothes store, pharmacy, restaurants and more.
It has the best coles in Melbourne. Love its new self-serve checkouts feature conveyor belt, which is so helpful when you want to buy lots goods.
Great little shopping village with some terrific fresh food shops like green grocer, fishmonger, bakeries plus a Coles for your weekly shop.
Great local shopping centre. One of the biggest Coles stores in the country. Good selection of food and service stores within the centre
A good size(large) Coles supermarket. Other stores, butcher, green grocer, chemist, bakery, take away food, alcohol store. Ample parking
Nice mini bush ish stroll on any controversial trail to-0-rong-A... Am now a village as well. Well done dreamers. Keeping it keeping on!
First time visit it and looks very good organized with all shops around! More potential to grow up and provide more the local community!
Great produce at this center especially. Plus this compound has good eating outlet options as well for a quick bite. Parking easy!
Decent shopping centre with the best Coles in Melbourne since I know the HQ is just next to it, expected to see more people tho
Rachel was amazing and very attentive with professional care at every session. I could not speak more highly of the service.
shoping mal-s like this are indispensable to the population density management plan that we everyone agrē on ,
Just went to the Coles to pick up a few things after hours. The rest was closed but looked pretty cool.
Good layout. Easy to access. Sadly the carpark lets it down, particularly some of the people using it.
Really convenient with a variety of food options and it's not very super busy so it's never packed.
Extra large size Coles for all your shopping needs. First Choice Liquor is so an added benefit!
It's a clean mall with good few shops. I loved the coles shop and Its fresh bakery section.
Not a village in the traditional sense, but does have a great food market known as Coles
Very nice Cole's and a bakery. Nice fresh veg shop. Not a whole lot else there however.
Very good and lots of things can buy here the pet shop is rather small but well stock
Good parking the fruit and vegetables were good but sushi bar was not great
Great centre. Always parking available. Good for a quick in and out shop
All round good. Clean present good service, nice Coles. Yes good …
