Recently I took back a TTI lifetime guarantee 6 mm hex Allen socket . It is part of a set of 11. I thought they would just check the computer to see the receipt and give me a new set or new part . Nope, I get the third degree grilling . They wanted to know how old the set was ( Does it matter ? It isn’t like food that goes off. It was about 7 months old). They claimed I had been using the set a lot . I had probably used it about 5 times and only two bits were ever used . They assumed I had been using an impact driver but I was using a wrench . They couldn’t find my phone number in the computer system ( staff error ) and asked if I could find the receipt on my phone . They eventually found the receipt and still asked a lot of questions about the broken bit. I said “ but isn’t it lifetime guarantee?”. The answer “ Well it depends “. Eventually they replaced the part. I then went to Trade Tools and bought a Force brand Torx bit set as they should honour their lifetime guarantee better. As an aside , I have a Metrinch socket set that i bought in the 90s. I snapped the reduction socket . Tridon posted me a new one and that was about 25 years later . At least they know what lifetime guarantee means. That wasn’t in a rattle gun either .

Awesome service and range of stock. The Virginia store had just run out of a particular promotional product, they were able to put me on the alert list when one came in. Less than a week later, I got a call to let me know the product had arrived and I picked it up that day. It turns out the manager of the store was in Melbourne and had personally transported one if the few remaining products back in his own luggage for me, as the line had been discontinued. Astounding level of service!

Different, less of each range than Sydney Tools, but more different categories. Total tools will sell a core hole drill to sds adaptor and only 3 types of 25mm holesaws, Sydney tools have no core drills but 5 types of 25mm holesaws. Neither have what C&L have. They all stay in business by having what the others don't have, and trying to have as much as the others do. I give 5 stars because I have never had an issue.

Hi I recently came in to Total Tools Virginia to upgrade my tools set, had lots to buy and had many questions about the equipment. I have been helped by Ben, who promptly answered all my questions and made sure I was getting the best combination considering what I wanted and what I could pay. Not to mention the good deal it was. I understand we have Covid restrictions however you are happy for us to walk around the store touch tools and products but not use your ablution facilities?? Spent over $900 yesterday but was made to feel like a leper when I asked if I could use the bathroom. I was told no public can use them I could go to the servo down the road...really people think!!!

They have a great range of most building related tools,but lack real variety in some automotive and engineering tools and equipment. The staff are friendly,though are somewhat like Bunnings, in that they have little to no real trades knowledge or experience, so can offer little to nothing,with advice on which tool best fits your needs.

I went to total tools store Virginia bought few tools and met the legend (Josh) at the counter he explained everything professionally, Ben very patient and solved the concern that I had about one of the tools. Thanks total tools Virginia for having legends like Josh at your store.

I can’t rate this store highly enough. Jackson and Kane were very knowledgeable around tooling and were more then happy to take the time to review some of the options being utilised by my business. Very competitive and definitely my tool store of choice from now on.

Worst shop out would not shop here got a lincoln helmet and it had a crack adf cartridge that part alone it $400 and its not even 2 months old and they said that i droped it and that they wont replace it because of that.i can tell you know this isnt over

How are you going to have impacts and drills and no drill bits and the common measuring tape? Ordered online but took them 2 weeks to tell me they don’t have a measuring tape or drill bits??? But they had the drills and impacts

I don't have experience at this place. Just want to comment on the catch phrase "every trade every trade" obviously total tools don't regard refrigeration mechanics as a trade, cause they don't much for my trade.

Tired of B...ings rubbish, Total Tools has quality tools at the best prices. Why did I take so long to discover it.... Also great service unlike B...ings these days where you struggle to find anyone to help.

They are a Festool dealer but their range is limited at best. Went to buy some sanding disks but they didn't have any. Why sell the tools if you aren't going to properly stock the consumables
