We saw some ladies at Elara Estate playground in Marsden Park, eating some burgers and chips, they looked and smelt great. Found out where they got them and off we went. Great takeaway, with a great lolly counter and even a 'claw' type arcade game, guaranteed a prize. Well worth the drive, lovely staff and great food. Have now come back, six times, the best tasting burgers and fries, reminiscent of childhood.

Old school fish and chip shop making stuff the old way, they make there chips with real potatos no frozen store bought stuff. Hamburgers are amazing. All well priced, the store itself looks like it hasn't had an update since the 80's but i think it sorta adds a nostalgia factor. Its clean having said that the only down side is the surrounding are is a bit ruff area. However this is a great place if you miss the old school fish and chip shop instead of these new ones that pop up charging over $25 for a burger and frozen chips.

There's an Asian woman (she's got short hair, looks like a man) who has the worst most horrible service. I went back and told her 2 of my kebabs were burnt and if I could exchange them for new ones and was happy to wait. And she rudely told me "HALF AN HOUR WAIT". I've never had to wait long which I knew was absolute rubbish... because everyone else thay serves me there (2 other men) are extremely nice. I used to be a regular but from now on because of her horrible service I will never go back. Please find a new job. You don't deserve to deal with customers. Maybe stick to eating the food instead of serving !

Delicious food! I usually get the Porto Burger Meal as it’s my favourite! Food has always been delivered with consistency. I think it’s about $13 or $14 which is still cheaper than other stores. I keep coming back because it’s cheap and delicious! Service is usually good. Atmosphere is good too, but I wish there were some dine in options. Otherwise, it’s great and close to where I live.

More salt on the food than in the dead sea. Food was terrible. As well the place was filthy. Bugs, dirt and grime everywhere. Scene an employee sneeze into their hands, then proceeded to grab food from the bain marie immediately after and put the pre cooked food in with the rest of the order. A google search, and this place is a repeat offender for breaking nsw food authority, failing to comply with food standards and Failing to take all practicable measures to eradicate and prevent the harbourage of pests. Be careful.

This take away shop use to be fantastic when the old owners ran it now these dirty smelly fast food shop jst smells like they use the same oil over and over make me feel sick I’ve only had it once and never again have I gone back I see ppl in there and I’m like how can you it’s over priced the foods are cold burnt over cooked this so called tregear take away shop needs to be shut down for a 2ltr milk $4 I was like come one are bastards serious right now I really don’t understand how it’s still open

While going to the pharmacy next door for vaccine for my 10yr old we saw many people going in to the take away we were reluctant to go as it didn’t look good from outside we decided to give it a try we tried the fish and chips the prices very reasonable for large amount of food they give the food actually tasted very nice if we ever drive by or around that area I will for sure order again very good value for money plus tasty fish and chips

Went to purchase something & was told they didn't have have it but had something similar. I asked if I could read the back to make sure it's the same & the lady kept saying it's the same & refuse to show me or read it to me. I asked who the manager was & she said she was the owner. I'm a local & disgusted by the behaviour of this woman & this shop. It will be the last time I ever go again & spend a cent of my hard earned money.

Purchased a loaf of bread here yesterday went to make a sandwich for my children and the bread had mould spores over it first time opening the loaf aswell disgusting. Would probably help getting the bread out of direct sunlight and not having it sitting right at the door so its getting affected by the sun and heat glad i seen it and didn't feed it to my children

AAA+++ Wow been back twice now. Hamburger with the lot is awesome, old fashioned true chips and yesterday tried the potato scallops. The oil is fresh and food not overly greasy. :-)) I've been working in the area and looking forward to going back, in the future. Thank you.

The lady here never l Iistens to what you want. I go here today, I order a hamburger with the lot combo. I get home start eating my burger it's very burnt & it's a plain hamburger. I got charged for a hamburger with the lot. Very disappointing.

After eating chips here all I wanted to do was throw up. I asked for well done with extra salt. And I get a mediocre amout of salt and chips that still tasted like raw potato. Killing this place with fire would be a better service to the community than what this shop provides.

The owner takes a lot of care and the value for money is very high. I love their Snack Packs- the owner knows exactly how I love them.

Food is good ,however one of the staff have no customer service skills at all,but thankfully isnt there often,they gave the impression it was a hassle to tell me what 3 chicken strips cost. The other staff are pleasant & polite & thats why we keep going.

Best goddamn burgers in Sydney! Never tried the chips haha, but the chicken strips are seriously amazing (they start frying them around midday). Coffee is also very reasonably priced and really really good. All in all, a local gem. A++

Poorly made food, such a huge menu board but only serve 2 sides of it, since every item the server said "we ran out" waited over 30mins for soggy dry salty chips and scallops. Just seem careless. Lunch for 4, no napkins or cutlery!

Good old fashion chips. Just like they were when I was a kid. Love the place and will be going back. Staff pretty friendly even when they were obviously busy. Strongly recommend you give it a try.

Ordered large chips and it was staled so disgusting my dog didn’t even want to eat it. Cooked by the Asian guy with glasses don’t recommend this place never going back again.
