The mailboxes at my apartment have been broken a few months now. Since that day, I have only been given about 7 pieces of my mail. All of my Christmas cards, my tax info, and other pertinent information are missing. Every time I go to pick up my mail, it’s missing. I have Informed delivery so I know what came in however, no mail and no excuses for not having it. I hate this post office!!! Btw, if you’re in a rush, Don’t Go! More like.. Pack a lunch! You’ll be there for a while, a long while. Then, be prepared to be handled (not helped) by rude workers. I’ve only encountered one customer friendly postal worker out of the few years that I have had to visit this place. On Dec 10, 2023 I asked the postal worker not to place my mail in an open/broken box. Her response was very rude and nasty. She told me to take pics and for me not to tell her how to do her job… so I did take pics and proceeded NOT to tell her how to do her job. SMH! Again, Since that day, I have received almost NONE of my mail that I now have to go to the post office to get. Her name was Tyesha McMillan. Wow, y’all gotta do better. SMH!

This one star review has been coming for a long time. I thought I just had one bad experience there, but the staff in this post office are the rudest people I have ever met. I have never had problems with any other post office to this extent. This is the most conveniently located post office for me, but I'm probably going to start going out of my way to not go there. FYI- the lady in front of me had 50 letters that needed scanned, so they told her they could do 10 at a time and that she needed to get back in line 4 more times (and the line was really long). I needed a customs form that only took like 1 min to fill out but she made me go back behind 8 people. Then when it was finally my turn, I started walking up to the counter and she yelled at me to stay there until I was called. Then she started sorting things and I had to wait a few minutes before a different worker could help. She didn't want to help me. Worst service ever.

I went to pick up a package that was too big for my PO Box. The clerk was extremely rude when she came back without my package, asking ME how long it had been since it was delivered as if that has anything to do with my package not being found. In actuality, it had only been two weeks since I picked up the yellow slip from my box. This particular worker has been rude every single time I have the misfortune of getting her. Calling the 800 number does not help with P.O. Box issues. Now, I will have to go back to the post office and stand in line again to demand my package, which btw, is a part for my car! The clerk did NOT give me my slip back either. I am FUMING.

My experiences at many post offices are usually not good so I came in expecting long lines and mediocre service at best on a Tuesday at noon. To my surprise, the line was very short just 1 or 2 people in front of me and it moved fast. I had the wrong forms and envelope for overnight mail so the worker gave me the correct ones and told me when I completed them, I did not have to stand back in line but simply wait for the next available worker. I did. The other worker was just as patient and courteous. Since this post office is just 10 minutes from work with ample parking to boot, I will be coming here for all if not most of my post office needs.

I arrived at 4:42 to send a registered mail package and doors were locked with closed sign posted. I understand workers would like to leave at a reasonable time but posted service hours need to be be honored. The last gentleman in a short line of 4 -5 people recognized the time and helped me enter. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude and yelled at people in line that they were closed and called me out specifically to leave. Please have some pride for the services you provide and show some respect for your customers and the institution you represent

The lady (ponytail with glasses, African American)there told me she can’t find my package because I didn’t have my slip. I showed her my ID, she didn’t even take a look and came back tell me she found nothing. I asked her if she knew my room number, she can’t tell! Then she said she didn’t find any packages for entire apartment there. I have to get back into the line again with my tracking number, and another worker found my package without looking at my tracking number!!!! I think she definitely got a problem, maybe towards Asian???

I chose to get a P.O. Box at this location primarily due to it being open all night for me to access my mail when I get off work. For weeks the doors have been locked at night. I understand the homeless were sleeping in the lobby, but I don't care about that. I need to be able to get my mail. Yall need to hire security or something; not inconvenience the customer who is paying well over $200 a year for postal services.

Painfully slow service, and the employee seemed to expect that customers should know the answers to everything they're asking. Postal service workers need to understand that snail mail is a dying medium and, if they're going to make it such a chore to ask, "What sort of postage do I need for this wedding invitation or thick envelope?" I can guarantee that many will opt for digital alternatives.

Dropped package off in Saturday (priority). Today is Thursday and it hasn't moved. Lady at the counter was rude & not interested in helping me at all. Didn't even want to check the tracking number. So glad I don't live here and have to deal with this post office on a daily basis!! Sorry I can't leave 0 stars!!

I get that folks knock on the Post Office frequently, but this was easily the fastest, most efficient visit to the Post Office I've had in years. I found all the supplies I needed, the line moved quickly, and my shipping needs were processes quickly. Kudos to this staff during the holiday rush.

  • Frankie Dineen

“closed at 3:30” why? it’s not a holiday, the building isn’t flooded… you can’t just close whenever with no reason when you are a government building with set hours. this location sucks. also, at least type your notice so it’s legible unlike the current note.

  • Ben Wescott

Literally the laziest employees in the world. They couldn’t care less about your experience or time. My very pregnant wife waited 45 minutes in line to mail a basic package. The staff is slow, apathetic, and doesn’t respond to increased wait times.

  • Quincy Lamar Wills

Most post offices I have ever gone to, the service is pretty terrible, but this one takes the cake! They have the most monotone, rude, unwelcoming staff I've experienced in some time. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but this feels warranted.

  • Sloane Frederick

literally the worst. the woman with the glasses CANNOT do her job. she has no problem letting you know when she’s not interested in doing her job. i brought international orders to the desk. she sent one of them to the wrong country. i lose

  • Dylan St. John

I've never dealt with people more rude than the incompetent employees of this branch. They flat out refused to even check for my package, which I had confirmed was at their branch. After 2 calls to USPS customer service and opening a case,

  • Alisa Mujagic

Post office staff is beyond rude and actually short with customers. They were unhelpful and had me back and for several times. I had a child that was tired and I put her on a table as my arms were getting tired while a I was guarding her.

  • Michelle Wei

I had a PO Box at this location and the staff had the absolute worst service compared to other USPS locations. A number of mail that had been expected got lost and some got sent back to the original sender. I had to inquire the staff and

  • Deirdre Walker

This is a horrible postal office they only had 1 cashier then another lady came with attitude really when we been standing in Line 45min. today 11:30am then remind you this lady in the lobby she said she only taking customers paying with

  • Hannah Chan

I was at the 30318 location which is one block from where I live. I was sending a package to Japan. I had sone stamps on the top of the box. At the counter the lady was very helpful my total was $98 minus the stamps I had placed on the

  • GTJG

This location continues to be a disappointment. All we want to do is ship our packages!! The self service kiosk is usually broken and the 1 attendant on duty ALWAYS has an attitude. Please hire people that want to work. It's ridiculous

  • Lilia Romero

I mail packages every 6 weeks to relatives. Same box size, basically the same weight. The woman in front of me questioned the price of the services when the postal clerk gave her the total. She said she was here last week for the same

  • B Grant

they have been closing the lobby early. Saturday arrived 15 minutes to 8:00 p.m., lobby doors are already locked. sign on the door says they should stay open until 8:00 p.m. either honor your own hours or update to sign on the door.

  • Laura Beckham

Worst post office in the city. When I arrived at 12:05 the sign on door saying “closed for lunch at 12pm” but no return time. Then when I came back at 1:10 only one worker behind counter & it took until 1:45 to get to the window.

  • Laurie

Hours are not updated. I came here to mail a package at the kiosk because the USPS website says its open. Got here and its closed! Homelessness is not the Post Offices problem people need to utilize other services!!

  • Jo Pichulik

I asked for my mail to be held while I was out of town. It is usually delivered by my carrier. I did not receive my mail as promised. I did file an inquiry with USPS.

  • Dillon Manley

It would be awesome if there weren’t so many homeless people taking a dump while you’re trying to print your labels but a 24 hr usps is gonna be a double edge

  • sammy D

Nice lady at the Howell mill location this afternoon which was a welcome change to the surly bartender attitude most postal workers seem to have.

  • Hannah Hrncir

I actually had a very pleasant experience here. The self service kiosk is really useful. On your left when you first enter.

  • Ken McLaughlin

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! AVOID THIS PLACE OFTEN NOT OPEN WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE

  • Ian

Ms. Dugar was great! Very patient and helpful. She provided a great experience.
