6 months ago I had a run in with the rude woman behind the counter. Today I had another encounter with her. I’ve talked to several people above her about her attitude problem’s towards customers especially those who don’t speak English. And apparently they don’t care to get rid of her. So I am so glad I am moving out of this neighborhood in may and will no longer have to go here to deal with the obvious problems that this post office just wants to ignore. I get that she is union but it is a government job and government employees are held to a higher standard I should know my father has been one my whole life. Not a postal worker he works for our military no he’s no longer in the military. Just because this location is in the hood doesn’t mean its staff needs to act like it. And I’m sorry but since when do you get paid to stand at a desk with an AirPod in your ear on the phone while dealing with customers all day. Cause that’s what she does. And then who ever she’s on the phone with she bad moths the customers to. It’s just not right to act like that at work especially when you work for our government.

Every time I go to this location...it's the same thing I dred the customer service..the black woman in the corner booth...with her head down likes she's half sleep...she is gonna give you bare minimum Every single time..tried to get a certain service and she kept referring me to the website...but I'm like...im here now...she did everything in her power just to get me away from the desk and out of her face...don't go to linwood because if u need help she's not gonna give it to you....she should not be dealing with customers...she should be in the back sorting mail..I miss dearly the last generation of postal workers...they were hard working and had integrity..I guess they are all retired now....this new generation is just lazy! If I see her there I just turn around and leave...sad part is people have been complaining and nothing has been done....tons of reviews on Google about the young black woman in the far corner booth that wears glasses..she laying down every time I go In...wth has happened to good customer service...smh sad

Staff person Nicole was incredibly rude, condescending, and snippy with me when I informed that their carrier had incorrectly marked my address as vacant (when I confirmed with USPS central office the day before they had marked it as such at the completely wrong address) and sent my package back to sender the same day without any attempt to actually make the delivery. She asked if anyone was living at the house at the time as if I had somehow moved out in the 24 hours period they were delivering and refused to take accountability for their carrier messing up. If you can avoid working with this office i would highly recommend it. They'll take your package to the wrong place, return it to sender, and manage to blame you and the sender instead of taking accountability for their poor service. Would give 0 if I could.

If I could only upload these videos I have of the things these mail carriers do when they deliver mail to my house. Let’s start with me shoveling my entire property to make their job easier and they continue to walk in my yard that has a foot of snow In some places and standing in my rose bushes to reach around to get to my mailbox instead of using the steps two feet from my rose bushes and after several phone calls to the main office at Linwood square it continues to happen. Long story short I understand their job is hard but come on! Have some common courtesy people for those of us trying to better our property! I’m so mad. Anyway I’m going to upload these videos to the internet somehow and show how disrespectful these people are to the neighbors in my community.

I had a package I had to sign for and it was being held there. Due to a few seperate circumstances, working, being out of town, and family members being sick I couldn't make it down there. I went to pick up the package today and the woman behind the desk was unhelpful, rude, and did not bother looking for it or checking, or even taking my name. It's a tiny building so it would have taken little time. She just said "it's not here". I would expect a person that is recognized as a federal employee to respond to this situation better. I understand that it isn't the best area but your lack of care and concern and customer service only furthers the idea that people don't care about this neighborhood. Very disappointing. I expected better.

No mail for 5 days now never get some of my mail neighbors have delivered my mail you always get the run around when you call and ask and complain excuse after excuse they give us. I think we should all involve news channel to have them investigate. all of my issues have been on going for several years not just a snow lstorm or covid excuse just portly ran post office just called post office today 2/8/22 was told my mail would be delivered ha ha ha no mail agin today gonna call agin Tommrow 3rd times a charm?? This place needs great improvements is there any pride in work at this location ? For the good workers I feel your pain.

(UPDATE: Since about March of 2023 things have suddenly improved with mail delivery, so kudos to whoever made that happen. I am changing my review from a one-star to a four-star because of the turn around.) If there were a contest for the worst Post Office in the U.S., this one would surely be in the running. Mail is delivered sporadically, customer service at the branch is worse than abysmal. One day I went in at 9:15 in the morning, 15 minutes after they opened, and was told I couldn't buy stamps because the person who sold them was on break. It's really quite stunning that a branch could be run this poorly.

Mail delivery is terrible. I moved to Indianapolis 2/half years ago and our family and neighbors has had problems with the mail carrier delivering our mail. There are times when I have a stack of my neighbors mail in my mailbox. We can see that mail is coming though the Informed delivery daily mail link and never ever receive the mail. We have called and sent emails to the managers and the inspector general but the problem stills persists. Apparently the mail carrier is just simply throwing mail in the garbage instead of delivering it. We don’t know what else to do. What can we do about this?

I know since COVID hit everything is distorted. But can we please send off for some Common Etiquette/Professional Manners when working with the public. This you lady working at the front desk with all of the piercings and No Common Courtesy for Customers need to Go!! How rude do you need to be in order to get a job with the Post Office?? This man was trying to mail off a package and if Geto is a word please help us interpret this kind of service. I realize that it may have been closer to 5;00o’ clock than it needed to have been. But for God’s sake can we get a little Professionalism!!

Utter incompetence! Wrong mail all the time. I've actually had to stop the mail lady and tell her the address was wrong. She swore up and down It was right. I think I know what street I live on. I've lost so much money to these assists because they can't do their jobs properly. Update: it's come to my attention these people can't read!!! And they obviously don't know the area s well enough to be delivering mail!!! I've lost 3 packages in a row! When I tell them the issue...."Well, it was delivered"....yea...to the wrong house!!!! I dont even want to give them 1 star but Google insists

Just got off the phone with Moesha about an undelivered package. She hung up on me after 10 minutes. "Left with Individual," tracking says. Proof of Delivery shows the carrier delivered the $3000 to the wrong address, both attempts. Moesha was trying to convince me that the carrier delivered it, that I signed for it (I know I didn't sign for anything in the last week), and then in the next breath that I didn't hear the knock and he must have left it on my porch. The biggest problem isn't Moesha on the phone. It's the incompetent postal carrier.

If I could give negative for customer service at this location, I would! Front counter person is ALWAYS rude!! If she doesn't want to wait on you...she blatantly lies. Said USPS does not accept cash, constantly "supposedly" NO stamps...yet I see people in line after me buying them. Will lock up early on a Saturday to stand outside with the guy from City Trend and hang all over him. Always snaps at people. Even says SHE is THE supervisor, which is a lie...I talked to THE supervisor! However, I LOVE my delivery person..he is THE best!

Today it it said my package was out for delivery early this morning but at around 1pm my tracking changed to say it was available for pickup. I called the office to confirm and they told me to come in to get it otherwise it would get rerouted and it could take another 5 days. So I come up here and she tells me that she hasn't sorted anything yet and isn't going to until after the post office closes. Just an overall lack of professionalism, why tell me to come in to get it then?

My sure post package was delivered to this post office! The staff gave me a run around could not locate it by the sure post tracking! When I asked to file a complaint or talk to the manager they refused to take accountability for my package they gave me ups phone number. If they can not simply deliver and be accountable when they scan a packGe why on earth agree to make delivery for ups! They charge enough money and keep raising the rates but the service is lacking!

I went to the Linwood Post Office today to mail cards. The Post Office was closed and so was the lobby. There was a mailbox outside. it was 5:30pm, The schedule on the mailbox said pickup at 5:00pm. I put the cards in the mailbox and noticed they didn't fall down, The box was full to the top. I tried to push the mail in the box down but couldn't. If I were a thief I could have removed a handful of letters. What is going on with our Postal Service???

Out of 14 possible delivery days I have received mail 3 times. Was first told truck broke down. Then carrier had double route and didn't get to us. Then was told our carrier was on vacation! When I visited post office was told all mail was out but they did not (lady taking small break from her phone ) know if our route would get mail. "Come back before 9 They do not OPEN TILL 9. The supervisor needs replaced.".

They don't know what they are doing here. They lost 3 different packages of mine, sent 4 back saying that I don't live at the address I've been at for almost 2 years. The woman supervisor was rude, called my fiance and I stupid when we asked questions. Continued by saying "I'm not the incompetent one here, I work for the post office." She needs to be fired or at least reprimanded for her actions.

Idk what’s going on but there are days where I don’t get any mail and I have very important mail that needs to be sent out. I’ve been using the red flag on my mailbox for a while now and never had any issues but recently there has been a couple times where I haven’t had any mail be dropped off or picked up for about a week straight. Person who assisted me was rude and disinterested in helping me. She made a mistake entering address and said she corrected it. I tracked package today and it is being returned as undeliverable, and I had to pay $8.50 to send the package and have been informed I will have to pay again to have it delivered. It was her mistake. I will go to Brightwood Post Office in the future. Very rude.

I see a lot of people upset with the Linwood post office and I too have had issues of missing packages. But despite the mistakes of the carrier who delivers, the folks at the post office have gone above and beyond to find and get my packages delivered. No one can be 100% perfect every day. My thanks to the employees of the Linwood Square USPS who work hard every day!

I would rate this lower because the mail here only comes once a month and I haven't the mail man or the mail truck since Dec 1 and I have been waiting for some very important papers and bills and when go here they laugh at you for asking where the mail is at and they only tell you that you have but clearly I don't have the mail. They're employees DO NOT deliver our mail. And when you go to the post office in Linwood they don't have any idea where the mail went. This is so illegal! I've been waiting on important mail that I know for a fact came through my USPS mail Scan app. 3 others were in there for the same reason when I was reporting this issue. WHERE IS OUR MAIL!!

This is my neighborhood post office. The staff does a professional job of handling long lines of customers at peak times of the day, such as just before closing. I have never had a problem with this post office and I am glad that they have a mail box outside at the end of the parking lot where I can send out my mail after hours.

No mail for 4 or 5 days at a time since Will retired from Windsor/Spades Park area 4 or 5 years ago. He said he walked 12 miles each day. Can't get this new bunch to drive 12 miles a day.Where,s all these federal politicians. They'll hear from me in November. I'm voting for the new guys. Republican, Democrat or independent

This place is a perfect example of how the government works.... My mail is hardly ever delivered. Even with having informed delivery, and reporting things not delivered, I still never get it. I think they just go to work, sit in the delivery vans, and throw it all in the trash. No accountability.

Terrible experience. The lady working behind the desk told me to take my package to UPS. Then I explained I needed to use USPS she gave me a sticker and told me to write the address down and when I told her it was going to Canada she told me that she was not able to help me ship my package.

Second time this week I've come to ship my orders and they are closed early. This time with the door to the lobby taped shut saying they're closed til tomorrow, with a line of people waiting. I'd expect better from a government agency. Can't even maintain posted business hours. Pathetic.
