The mail clerk by the name of Ruban was very rude, and he humiliated me in front of the entire store to the point where I broke down and started crying. The reason I went to the post office is because someone had purchased me Nintendo Switch and they live in a different state so I had no choice but to mail it. Before going I went to the USPS click and ship website and purchased a label for $27.90 which I still haven't been refunded for but I asked if it could be done, upon speaking with Ruban he told me that the box that I grabbed off the shelf was too big and not for the correct type for the item I was sending, I also had to send my phone back as well since I was trading it in through my cellphone plan, it had a label printed label yet Ruban still couldn't figure out what envelope would fit for it. So I got frustrated and I said, sir, I'm sorry but I am unsure what boxes I need for these items, that was after I grabbed the bigger box he said I couldn't use. Then he tells me well I've been trying to help you, and I said "yes" I understand but you're speaking to me as if I know what size boxes I need for these items. He got upset and said well, you can figure this out on your own! I'm trying to help you but I don't like your attitude! , then he said so go ahead and grab your stuff, stand in the corner, and do this all on your own, I told him sir I don't like how you've treated me and he proceeds to laugh and says "I've been rude"? in a rude and condescending manner. Then I proceeded to cry, and he left me there unattended and no other associate in the store offered to help me, and none of them even apologized for how I had been treated, they just all laughed at me. I felt like I was a child being bullied. I want him reprimanded, I have never been treated so badly in a business establishment in my entire life I was so unlucky to have crossed paths with Ruban. I want someone to call me about this, my dad told me that he's also had a bad experience dealing with Ruban when he asked about what the costs were to ship and how much it would be for shipping per pound, he told my dad he was too busy to check that information.

I'm trying to call to locate a package that is tracked to my box. I didn't receive the package and can't get an answer at the post office. I probably just let the phone ring 50 times before I gave up and hung up. Not answering the phone during business hours is unprofessional and unacceptable. At the VERY LEAST, answer the phone and place me on hold. I would be embarrassed to deliver that kind of customer service. After FINALLY reaching them, I was told my package was there and would be delivered to my box. After not receiving it a few days later, I called back and let it ring 75 more times (wish I was joking, but I'm honestly not) and was again told that they are very sorry it was overlooked again and again, I was told it would be delivered. After a few more days with no delivery and I'm told the package is now missing. Even though a manager confirmed it's location at the facility twice. This manager, Joe, refused to answer questions about who would refund me for the missing item, stating that I was "getting ahead of myself" and "accusing them of losing the package." I'd say after failure to give it to me when I showed up to pick up my mail, and 3 phone calls with no package delivery, the fact that my package has been lost by them isn't a question. I'm not accusing them of anything. My package is missing. I was told they would call me back when the other manager arrived at 11. Now at 2:30, I called and let it ring MANY more times only to have an employee take the phone off the hook. It's been completely busy for 10 minutes. This post office is a joke and the employees there should be embarrassed for doing such a poor job.

I’ve had negative experiences with this post office both in person, and with packages seemingly being withheld. Their complete lack of customer service in person is baffling, and there doesn’t seem to be anything being done to correct it. They’re being paid to do a job, yet act like the public still owes them something. Highly toxic and entitled behavior. You have a job, it can’t be that bad! Staff is rude to everyone. I’ve seen one clerk act extremely impatient and highly disrespectful raising their voice to an elderly person while I was waiting in the ridiculously long line. All that before I reach the front, only to be treated like trash also. I dread having to go in and avoid it if I can. The mail carrier writes in permanent marker on the boxes when she doesn’t get her way. And then when she’s told to clean it up by her manager, acts petty and unprofessional when delivering my packages now. She had to clean her writing off of the box near my home, and since then two of my packages have been locked in the large delivery box, with the wrong key being left in my box. The first incident was seemingly a mistake, it was corrected after I emailed her supervisor. Now that it happened a second time, it’s seeming less of a mistake and more of her being petty.. My second package has been locked in the large delivery box since Friday, it’s now Wednesday. I left a note this time before reporting her with the wrong key that she left, she took the key and left my package locked in the box without leaving the correct key. Guess this is what I have to expect every time I get a package now? Awesome.

Like nearly everyone else I've had consistent bad experiences with this post office. It all started when my husband and I moved here from California several years back. We put in our change of address several weeks prior to our move just like I was always told to do. A month after moving when we'd received absolutely no mail (because that's plausible) we finally went into the location and asked and got a snooty response of "well did you change your address" "yes, we did it in California prior to moving" "oh, we've been holding all your mail" "why?" "...we'll remove the hold" "okay..." Still have no clue why our mail had a hold on it. Since moving here we have had more boxes lost or returned to sender then any place I've ever lived prior, I've had at least 4 boxes lost completely never to receive the product or be reimbursed for it. The first two boxes I attempted to have them look into it but after several weeks of the run around I just gave up and ate the cost. My favorite part though is I'll get a notification that my box was marked undeliverable when I'm sitting in the living room 5 feet from the front door. This happens regularly. If you would just get people who actually deliver the mail like they are supposed to your line for the door wouldn't always be so long all the time. Perfect example of this is yesterday, I had two boxes, one was delivered and the other was marked delivered and the other was marked undeliverable, how does that make any sense.

I have complained many times about my mail being delivered to another address, and also not being picked up. I called the post mater months ago who sent someone out to check the mail box and my mail with others was not delivered resulting in late fees for one bill that was waved because I could prove it. Now today my mail had been left in the box for a week.Today I got notice a bill was over due. I again checked my bank account. I did my back tracking, Found two different phone numbers that are wrong for pino station, called another location and got the correct number...792-8739. I talked to JIM who sent someone out. I got a call back stating that yes my mail was in there but only mine so I lied and mailed my bills today not week ago. Because I wrote a check Sunday night on the 11th and and it wasn't picked up I lied and made up this entire thing. I have never been late on a bill and my payment history could prove that. I wish some one would truly investigate this post office.I have been screwed by them more times that I have fingers and toes in the last 13 years. I believe with all my heart that this post office needs a huge over haul and the federal government needs to step in and protect those of us that for some stupid reason still use them! They are the worst!

Yeah, my box got trashed too. So did about 20 others in my neighborhood. That's ABQ for you. Eventually, the whole City will get new mailboxes. Yeah, I stood in line waiting for mail, just like all my neighbors. Patience was running thin, which is human nature when we have to wait and there's no change day after day. After a week or two of going and picking up my mail, the staff gave me temporary mail box at the PO, which was great, given the street box was going to take additional weeks to be reinstalled. As the volume of mail decreases the PO is going to continue losing money, and to designate extra personnel to hand out mail because some jerks are breaking into street boxes is not consistent with a money-losing operation. I'm not connected to the PO, but I'm in a short-staffed service industry and so I can imagine their frustration too, not being given the extra personnel to satisfy the demanding needs of a temporary situation, with personal hostility toward you thrown in too. When you see the PO's neighborhood delivery truck driving around well after dark delivering mail, you've got to wonder when they go home, and is this because they don't have as many people as they need to do their job? That's certainly not the only place in ABQ where we have to step up.

There's only one female staff member who is amazingly pleasant and detailed with all customers. I notice these things while I wait in line. Nothing else much to do when I just need to pick up mail that's on hold. We moved to ABQ at the end of Jan '23 and found out we needed to get mailbox keys from the post office. After running around town to find out that we need to go to a specific post office, which was this one at paradise hills, we go in and order the keys. This was in Feb with them saying it could take 3-6 weeks. It was the very pleasant staff member who ordered it for me and even did a reorder say the beginning of April because she said it shouldn't have taken this long. Well, it's already nearing the end of April and the keys are still not here. Mail pick up is generally ok and since I don't go during rush hour, I don't have to wait very long but this key thing is costing me lots of gas money as I have to drive all the way up to paradise hills from Tierra Pintada and back at least once every week to collect my mail and check if my keys are ready. And gas money isn't cheap. I'd give more stars if this wait for our mailbox keys wasn't turning into something really ridiculous.

The post office, what can anybody say about the Post Office. The place always has a steady stream of customers. Your one stop shop for mailing practically everything. They also have a host of amenities, such as two drive thru mailboxes outside. Inside you have a choice of articles one can buy such as different size boxes and envelopes for mailing items. One cool thing is the do it yourself mailing machine,I guess you can call it, where one can weigh whatever it is you want to mail and it gives you the proper postage. You then apply the postage to your package and drop it in the huge Dropbox right next to the machine. Pretty neat,Oh yeah you can buy your stamps from the machine too, instead of going to the Teller. It's the Main Post Office in the area. Their constantly busy and well sometimes you be in line sometimes for over 15 minutes depending on the time of day Patience is a virtue ? You can rent mailboxes here but I'm not sure what their rates are.. theirs ample parking. I don't know how their staff does it working their if it were me, I'd go crazy. The people that work there are great and courteous to everyone so that makes them kinda special. Good service all around.

Wish I could this postal office ZERO! I used to go to this place but after my bad experiences today, I WONT ever come back here. The staff who has shoulder length hair and short WAS IGNORANT! Why she even work there if she doesn’t know how to process international packages. She kept saying I have to do the custom online on their website which I already filled out. She was not helpful at all. When another staff with black hair (who is knowledgeable, nice) told her that they have custom forms there, she said they were running out. This woman should not be working there!!! Please I request to put her somewhere that is not busy so people won’t need to stay in line waiting. This staff did many wrong actions today. Seriously, the woman with should length colored hair, short and rude. ZERO star please! She doesn’t belong to a customer service place. I went to the USPS on Graceland. It only took me 2 minutes and the young staff was very helpful. She was sorry that I had to deal with the staff at Paradise. Wish I got the name of this staff at Paradise to report! She is rude and not helpful at all!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had!

Every negative cliche about the horrible inefficiency of the US postal service is exemplified by this facility. Twice in the past month the Saturday mail carrier has opted to not deliver to the address I've called home for the past five years, and instead returned those packages to sender rather than holding them for pickup or for redelivery by the weekday carrier. Once would be an aberration. Twice is a systemic issue. I complained after the first incident to no avail, and it's clear the post office did nothing to rectify the issue or educate the Saturday carrier. After this most recent incident I called the USPS toll free number and arranged for the package to be redelivered, even verifying the address again. The attached image shows the futility of this effort. I don't doubt the staff at this facility is tremendously overworked, and it's ridiculous that a single post office (and zip code) should be tasked with covering such a large area of the city. That said, they should still do a better job with managing deliveries, especially as more and more online purchases are delivered by USPS.

This is the worst post office in town. I've had problems before with mail being late or not delivered. They always seem to get ads and other non-important items to the box everyday but anything important no. My paycheck is two weeks late! My company sent out anther one and now this one is late! I'm supposed to get another check Monday but with this post offices timing I probably won't get it till mid-December I'm broke because of this post office. Went to speak with a supervisor and he gave me a half assed answer(when your employees mess up you need to hold them accountable!) I understand they are underpaid but I am too but I still do my job the right way. i know I'm not the only one who has dealt with this either when I went in they were talking to a lady who had a package that was "out for delivery" a week ago and never showed up they gave her the run around too. If you know you probably messed up then admit it say "we probably lost this" not "oh we don't know" be accountable for your mistakes.

My community mailboxes were changed out in May and signs were posted to pick up keys at the paradise hills post office. We went to the post office and after two visits, the keys are finally ready. We got home to find our keys didn’t work.. back to the post office again.. then once a week for a month, standing outside in the heat during a pandemic only to be sent away every visit and told our keys still aren’t ready and to try again in a few days/or next week. Finally the last few days of the month 2 different carriers brought me packages asking if I got my keys yet, No. they said, “don’t worry about coming into the post office. The keys should be delivered to you.” Another week went by and no more mail/packages NOR Keys have been delivered. I’ve tried calling to be put on hold for over an hour and a half. I understand we are in difficult times but I have been understanding and more than patient. This issue still today hasn’t been resolved and i haven’t had access to my mailbox in over a month!

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! They are super unorganized, unprofessional, and straight up rude. I have lived near this post office for almost 4 years and EVERY single time I get a package delivered there’s an issue and it gets sent back. The pick up line is outrageously long because the delivery driver is obviously doing something incorrectly. Even though they have 2 lines (good luck figuring out which one you need to be in because there’s NOTHING telling you where to go) the pick up line is always to the entrance and sometimes there’s never a line on the other side. Even with all FOUR windows being available; they won’t help because “policy”. After waiting for an hour in this line, by the time I got to the window my package was already processed. Not only did I waist my time in a line for an hour with my impatient toddler, I called ahead of time and was told to go pick it up which was lucky because no one ever picks up the phones. Do better USPS. We’re sick of your mistakes.

  • Juakein Lucero

i went down there to get a package and the guy at the counter could not comprehend English he could only speak it a little and he could not even understand the task i was asking , so i was forced to ask someone else who was more fluent in English, but that's not even the worst part like the carriers are probably the most useless people ever because literally every time i order a package they fail to deliver it to my house or parcel forcing me to go down to the office and wait forever in line. on my last encounter the carrier lady said she tried to deliver it to my house and online it said she left a slip and she never did because i looked at my cameras and she never once came and i have evidence to prove otherwise. after that i return to the post office to learn they lost my package (witch had a value of over $2000). very disappointed. they need to hire more youthful staff that will be able to keep things under control everyone working there is EXTREMELY OLD!

  • Alfred Lawson

everything everyone says is true. i have had my packages delivered to neighbor and tracking marked as delivered. they dont know how to read or are dyslexic. they leave slip to pick up letter/pkg and dont fill out all information. for the love of god people put the whole name. There are multiple people in this house. It is your job to properly fill out the forms. They are way overpaid for their quality of work. You guys need alot more younger workers. Old people are slow and you need fast. You are not meeting peoples needs. If you are not firing people for their performance and worried about people filing unemployment then get all the evidence, have timer for how long they take with customers, etc. It is not hard to run an efficient post office. What are you doing differently then other locations? Why is this the worst rated post office? If I had this great paying job I would definetly do it alot more efficiently and have pride and show that I care.

  • Laura H

I paid over $20 in shipping for priority express 2 day shipping from a local business in Albuquerque. It was sent last Thursday (again, from Albuquerque), showed it was out for delivery on Friday, yet still no package Monday evening. No tracking update since 1:10am on 4/25 either. I almost feel like the express shipping caused this package to not show, as regular shipping has never been an issue and would have already been here by now - which makes absolutely no sense considering it’s so much more expensive. I just hope they don’t give me any push back when I go to claim my very much deserved refund. Also, this location is beyond impossible to reach. I’ve been calling since Saturday, and nobody will answer the phone. I get being busy, but I’ve called nearly hourly with zero success. To the people who left reviews saying they reached a human being at this post office, you are clearly one of the lucky few.

  • Shiloh Apodaca

This place is the most disrespectful post office I’ve ever been to. I moved to the west side last year and I never had this many issues as I have here. My mail carrier purposely withholds my mail and when I do get mail delivered which is once in a blue moon( and my mail box over flows) I get everyone else’s mail. Addresses that are streets down from mine. I watched my mail carrier drive up, stop open my mail box and then drive away. I had to chase her down and ask her and she tells me something was blocking the box. NOTHING WAS BLOCKING IT. Not to mention my packages that won’t even fit in the box have been withheld because she doesn’t want to get down and deliver them to the door. I went to the post office to pick up my mail that I’ve been waiting days for and the manager was yelling at me and would not listen to the complaint I had. Good luck trying to come here and getting your mail

  • Peggy Chacon

I experienced their incompetence first hand. I went in the first time to get my mail keys for our house. They forgot to order them. I had also put our mail on hold. They didnt complete that paperwork either. The second time I was told to come in on a Saturday to get my keys because the guy that that would give them to me would be in. He wasn't and so I still have no mail box keys and no mail. This is ABSOLUTELY uncalled for. Weve been in the house for 3 weeks already. Incompetency at it's best. I would give them zero stars but that's not an option. One person told me to wait 3 days and come back. Another said "Oh no, it will take a week to 10 days. Meanwhile our mail is piling up and we can't get our ATM cards and other important mail. Is there anyone we can complain to? By the way, Do not bother calling because they WILL NOT answer the phones. I'm done with my rant, life is too short.

  • Nancy A

My daily carrier is good, but substitutes and extra package delivery carriers are horrible... Packages are put in wrong boxes, keys for package compartments are put in wrong boxes several numbers away from the correct one (like apt. 8 gets pkgs that are addressed to apt. 4, and apt. 4 gets pkgs sent to apt. 6, etc.). I haven't been to the branch in a couple of years because you cannot get to it via bus and my car broke down. I called them because they shoved a parcel into my box and jammed the lock so I can't get my mail. I was surprised that they answered, but nobody came like I was told they would; then I tried to call back a few hours later and found out they were closed. Who ever heard of a large postal branch closing at 5pm, before people can get there after work? Two stars is probably too much for them, except my daily carrier who is pretty good... She would deserve more.

  • Manda Jaramillo

If I could give negative stars I would because 0 stars is too generous for them. I literally never get my packages, and my house isn't hard to find or in the middle of nowhere. It's in a regular neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors 3 or 4 streets down deliver my packages because it went to them or my neighbors. A lot of times the packages just disappear and I have to go through the hassle of getting the companies to send them again. I also get random mail and packages for others that don't even resemble my address, and then have to go deliver it to them. We're all doing their job, because they're not doing it correctly. I don't use hate too often, but I hate this post office. They are the worst run post office I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I get that they have to deal with a lot, but they need to deliver mail and packages correctly, and they just don't do it.

  • John English

These guys are the worst. They lost my mail. I filled out a Help Request Form. Ronald Clipp sent me an email "The carrier has been alerted to this issue, and will attempt to locate your parcel. If you have still not received it by the end of the day tomorrow 8/6, please feel free to respond to this email and notify us." Never received my package. Replied back to the email several times with no response. Called the Richard Pino post office a lot of times and no one answered the phone. Per the USPS web site after 7 business days I submitted a Missing Mail Search Request. Sill no response. Tried calling the USPS Customer Service. They can't do a thing to help you. Nothing. I got the number to the Southwest Regional office. Left them a voice mail. Bottom line is the people at this post office are beyond useless. How can you take a pay check if you don't do anything to earn it?

  • Bobbie Ward

Not once but twice, I received horrible service by the same employee "Susan" postal ID 15!!!!! When I am sending registered mail overseas I expect them to send it properly! I know you are to put the paper tape on the back and stamp the letter all over. When she tossed it aside and didn't do it, I of course asked her to, her response, "I will do it later" and then she refused again. Yeah, like she was sooo friggin busy, not a single soul except her and I in the post office. I've seen plenty of lazy people in my life but this chick takes the cake. I called her supervisor while i was in the post office since she said he wasn't in and then took it to their corporate office. Hopefully, they will take care of this foul service from this particular woman. Been going there for years and have had exceptional service except from this lazy good for nothing. So rude!!!

  • Bryan Purvis

Terrible, just plain disgusting. I just received a notice letting me know that my delivery was attempted and missed within the past hour. Complete BS!! I’ve been in my home office working for the past 3 or so hours, no music, no phone calls, and no distractions. There hasn’t been a single person that has come to my door, driveway, or even parked out on the street the entire morning. A complete lie...but wait, it gets even better. I pulled up the tracking number to see about getting a little more detail and...well it says “held at post office by customer request”!!!!!!! Can you believe this ish?!?! I haven’t made any such request or spoken to anyone about this delivery period. This is not the first time this or something similar has happened, totally ridiculous. This location needs a serious audit and a clean sweep of management! Complete BULL-ISH!!!

  • Nicole Kauzlaric

Would love to give zero stars if that was possible. They are never fully stocked with shipping products, the lines are always long and slow, and there is only one worker I have encountered who is nice. I recently put my mail on hold for a move and when I went to pick it up-it wasn’t there. Today I found out a package was delivered to my old address even though it should have been forwarded. So now I have to figure out how to get my package and what happened to 5 days worth of held mail-nothing has come to my new address and each post office has given me an excuse of “we’re backed up”. This is exactly why I clicked “will pick up in person” for that hold and they couldn’t even follow that directive. Let’s hope I actually get my mail and that they’re actually forwarding my mail to my new address, but doubt it.

  • Evan Conn

Worst post office to go to on the westside. This morning I went to pickup a package and recieved a email that it was ready and I showed one of the workers there the email on my phone and she said let me check as if she did not know it was there. So I gave her my ID and waited almost a hour for her to return to the front (A HOUR). Come on... it should not take that long to check the tracking number and look at a piece of plastic. When she came back she told me they did not know where it was. After I heard that I was completely annoyed and I asked where is it then? And she said they Have no track of it. They lost a gift that was to me that cost more then $100.00 in value. I will not be returning here anymore. They do not know what they are doing and they are very messy.

  • Erik Swinson

First the delivery guy knocked on our door so softly that my family couldn't hear it when they were in our living room right next it, so he left a slip to go pick it up. I was coming home from work so my girlfriend calls asking for me to pick it up. Went to pickup the package adressed to my girlfriend who lives with me. Waited in like for almost an hour just to be told that I could not pick it up since my drivers licence had my old address on it, even though I could provide bills and insurance cards showing that I lived there. Why would someone show their identity and information to you if they were planning on stealing a package? Would be the easiest arrest to make ever. This whole operation encompasses every negative stereotype of the USPS I've ever heard of.

  • Isaac VanHaverbeke

Service is friendly enough if you have to go in, but if I'm rating this post office based on their ability to deliver mail as they have been paid to do, then these guys are a 1 at best. I constantly have to deliver packages and mail to people three or four streets over from me because the post man got the name wrong, and I frequently get to go on a scavenger hunt for my package that was left in a parcel box about a mile from my house. If they at least labeled the parcel box keys to tell you which mailbox it was left in or provided that information in the online tracking information, I could sort of make excuses for them, but after walking 2.5 miles tonight, I still don't know where the hell this unlabeled key is supposed to go.

  • Autumrey Wood

If I could give negative stars I would. The people at that location are discourteous, indolent and flat out inept at their jobs. I went to pick up a small package that had yet to successfully be delivered for the past 4 days that it has been in their "care". Upon arrival, one employee was barking orders at people picking up mail or packages to form a separate line but to stay in order. He and another woman there had curt and impudent interactions with every customer they came in contact with. Evidently this location is only capable of hiring ill-bred, paunchy sorry excuses of human beings. I was also told that the package "may still be in sorting" and to try back with in the next few days.

  • Betty Chavez

This is the worst post office I have had to deal with. My mail is always getting lost. They never, ever answer there phones!! Things that I could get checked on could be so easy if only they would just answer their phones!! I always have to go down there and wait in a long line to talk to someone, and still nothing gets done. I have called other post offices to make sure I have the right number, and they answer their phone right away. Something needs to be done about this problem! I have tried calling the main US postal number only to be on hold over 30 minutes at a time, and have to just hang up. If I could give this review minus zero rating I would!!!!

  • Jacqueline Trujillo

To be lucky to receive your packages and mail is an understatement for this post office. 2 packages in just one week I haven't received. At least 6 in the last month and as many as 10 in the last 3 months. This has become absolutely absurd! I'm actually starting to think the couriers are keeping or throwing away the packages at this point as our neighbors have been nice enough to re-deliver them on the few occasions they've received them. I have lived in several locations throughout the city, Rio Rancho, and even the east mountains and have NEVER had the issues this post office creates. This location needs a complete overhaul of their staff IMO

  • Wendi Brousseau

Worst post office ever! They have lost my mail and packages, say they delivered, but I never received my items. I have had strangers come to my house with my mail that they received from the mailman. I was just on hold to speak with the manager Brandy over a lost package for over 40 minutes with the manager never answering her pages, she was paged 3 times with no response. I called the previous day about my claim, she never answered and I was told she would call me back, I'm still waiting for her call. They shouldn't even get 1 star, they should be negative 10 stars! Don't use this post office or the same will happen to you....Beware!!!

At this post office I have dealt with a woman named Maureen and another gentleman (I don’t remember his name) who have always been extremely kind and helpful, that is why I give it a four-star. The two of them are always very friendly and when I am sending packages to my daughter who is in the Air Force overseas, they are both very thankful for her service and help me quickly get my packages to her. The reason this place did not get a five star from me is because of a man by the name of Tony. He is very unprofessional and unhelpful, not to mention extremely rude. When I go to the post office I try to avoid him as much as possible.

  • mars [REDACTED]

literally the worst customer service. we walk in not knowing about a package weight limit, obviously my husband is struggling to carry the package and the women behind the counter can see that, but the fail to tell him about a weight limit or ask him how much the package weighs until AFTER they have him write a label and get it up on the scale. they laugh at him for not being able to get it up on the scale instead of maybe using their heads and think critically about the situation. he’s not a weak dude, so you can tell it’s heavy. absolutely a waste of our time. never coming to this location ever again.

  • Faith S

Constant problems with my packages being delivered to the incorrect residential box or parcel locker. My neighbors often end up with my packages and I’ve ended up with the mail of several people who don’t even live on my street. These occurrences have gotten more and more regular over the last couple months. I went through the phone line customer care and was put through an automated process to report the issue and was told my inquiry would be addressed in 3-5 business days. People rely on USPS to properly deliver their mail in a timely matter and that is far from what is happening in my neighborhood.

  • Jeri

We had just lost our son and it had only been maybe a week. I was still in deep grief and could hardly breathe with a lump constantly in my throat. I was at this location to mail necessary documents regarding our son. I couldn’t wear a mask because I simply couldn’t breathe. A man pointed it out and in turn everyone started yelling at me. I was up next to the counter and the man with silver glasses refused to wait on me. All the while people screaming at me. I told him I’m just trying to mail documents we just lost our son. He refused to help me and told others not to help me either! I left in tears

  • Nicolle Lopez

Worst post office in Albuquerque! Had to stand in line an hour and a half to pick up my mail! The two gentlemen at the front customer service counter were just standing there, there was no one in line to mail anything out.... when another one of the THIRTY customers in line to pick up asked why they weren’t helping they said they weren’t allowed to leave the front and proceeded to be verbally aggressive and insulting to the customer. This is insane.... if they have no one in line they should help or at least have two people working the pick up window. Again, WORST post office in Albuquerque!

  • rodzilla134

Our cheesy cluster box got broken into. So, for the next 6-6-8 weeks, we have to drive 20 minutes to our post office to pick up our mail. 1100 on a Saturday morning, there are two guys behind the counter, a line all the way to the door, and they have no one that can simply hand people their mail. So, we get to wait in line another 20-40 minutes to pick up. I HATE this Hell-hole. You idiots should be ashamed to be employees here. If I could pay more to be part of a private mail service not associated with the USPS, I'd do that in a second. Anything to not have to deal with these clowns.

  • 88M8A88R8K88

Totally unreliable service for packages, have had repeated issues of packages delivered to wrong addresses, the postmen does not pay any attention to what they are doing, now have my packages delivered outside this zip code, so unreliable. UPDATE: as of 2022, packages are still missing/undelivered 1/3 of the time, and the USPS website is even less useful, not allowing me to submit a missing mail ticket the day after delivery went missing stating 'falls outside the delivery allowable timeframe to file a missing package report', which is their way of dodging any responsibility.

  • Tanktyler

Terrible delivery service. At least once a week I receive other people's mail in my box. The thing that's annoying is usually it's mail for a numerical address not even close to mine, and entirely different names from my street. How in the world can someone confuse Golf Course Rd with Polk St (example) not my actual street. Today, I recieved mail from two different addresses with totally different numericals, and street names...Now I'm thinking this is deliberate, or a complete numbskull. Every now and then is understandable but weekly, and sometimes bi weekly is ridiculous.

  • Meghan Boerding

Left a ticket that no one was available at home while my husband was working from home. Failed to ring the doorbell or attempt to alert the homeowner in any way. Left a note to go to the post office for pickup, with no address as to which post office to go to. As this is the one our mail generally comes from, I assume this is it. This seems to be a trend, by the way. Went there to pick up a package in my husband's name. Apparently I could be comitting mail fraud and should have taken his last name. Nevermind that he is working away for potentially the next several months.

  • Angela Montenegro

The lady working today where packages are picked up is so insufficient not good for the job. There was a line out the door and she took 20min to help one person that turned out she couldn't help either way. Also instead of quick explanations she takes forever to explain to customers. When I finally got up to front she said how are you im good thanks for asking just to be unprofessional and rude. I asked why she isn't wearing a badge she replied she didn't have to but gave me her name asked if I need it spelled. She's rude unprofessional and insufficient at her job

  • Mary Baker

This post office is incompetent. I sent a package from South Korea before I left and the package arrived here 3 months later, which was to be expected. BUT the post office held the package for 3 days, they did NOT deliver it to my door like they did other packages. They also did NOT contact me in anyway to let me know to come pick it up. And after only 3 days they shipped my package back to Korea. Korea now wants me to spend $200 to get the package back. I filed a complaint and this post office was supposed to call to discuss the problem. They never did.

  • Boden Boden

If i could give it no stars I would. It is a horrible run post office I have ordered 10+ packages that have been lost or damaged. The incompetence of this station is unbelievable. If I could have my mail routed through literally any other station I would. They never answer there phone and have no idea what they are doing. In her defense there was one lady who seemed to know what she was doing and I feel bad for her being surrounded by incompetence but one person can’t run a post office. They need to higher more workers that are not contractually.

  • carrie crafton

First, the mail delivery person didn't attempt delivery of a package to my house, I was home! Left the card in mail box and now I've been calling for 5 days to find out where my package is and no one will answer the phone. I returned slip for redelivery still waiting on package. This is utterly ridiculous! I can't pick package up because, I returned slip for redelivery! I'm so upset! The package is very important and now well overdue! For the love of God, answer the phone people. This is unacceptable! If I could give lower then one star I would!

  • Cassie Holmes

The only thing this post office has going for them is convenient location and ample parking. Every time I go in there is a huge line so I try not to even bother. I ship over 100 packages a month and have to bring them inside (which is a pain when you have two little kids) because every time I schedule a pickup they just don't show up. Why even offer pickup service then? Good luck trying to call because the phone will ring and ring and ring and nobody ever answers. I go out of my way to use a different post office whenever it's feasible.

  • Roxy Henise

I have visited this post office for many years and the staff is nice and I have never seen any problem with the staff neither with the neighboring people! They have helped the community best possible ways they can so please put yourself in their shoes, sometimes can be overwhelming for them to overwork and not get payed enough. I want to thank them for all the work and help they have giving to the community! As the saying goes “Treat Others as You want to be Treated” Remember that without communication and patience nothing can be done.

  • Sea View

This is a great Post Office. I have used this location for many years. The people working at this office are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. They work as a team and treat each other with respect. Many times I have seen workers come up to the front counter and even in the lobby to help move things along. And when the line up front has diminished they go to the back to help. I think their positive attitude comes from the satisfaction of a job well done. Please pass this along, they deserve the recognition.

  • Robert Bliss

A stunning example of American waste and bureaucratic bloat. A textbook example of the case for the American public to privatize the mail and run it like a business. Edit: Our mail carrier came out and connected with us, understood the problem and said he would fix it. He even gave us a way to connect with him in the future for faster responses. A much better outcome that happened from the "customer service" line. Just a shame that it took 3 hours, 3 phone calls, and 2 trips to the post office to resolve a simple issue.

  • brandi

I went down 2 different times to pick up my packages and they still have not "found" my packages. Plus I have been receiving other people's mail. and my neighbor has been getting my mail..the so called "customer service" is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! please get this location some extra help! I now have 2 packages that have been lost and no-one can tell me where they are but yet it says that they were delivered??? Well they were not delivered to my address because I did not receive them. so where are my packages?

  • Fredrick Romero

If there was a negative star rating there still wouldn’t be enough negative numbers to rate this location. This off ice needs take the downtown post office example. They have a line for revenue and a line for inquiries and pick ups. The revenue line goes fast of coarse but the everything else line is a nightmare. The management needs to take a hard look at solutions for this. Not only is the line always long expect to wait an hour in that line. This post office is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! Avoid at ALL cost.

  • Tee Jay

Almost everyday I get someone's else's mail or they get mine. It's amazing just watching people on my street doing the post offices job of delivering mail correctly. 2 packages on 2 separate days did not get delivered. Never even tried to deliver. Then Saturday they finally gave me the redeliver slip. There was no need for it. AND I'M STILL WAITING! Even after filling ut the request for redelivery. Is it part of the interview process asking how bad you can screw up or not do you job? They are a joke!

  • Brian Sorcic

The RICHARD J PINO 4600 PARADISE BLVD NW ALBUQUERQUE NM Post Office is very terrible, they do not answer the phone, they try to avoid your calls by putting you on hold forever, I can not file a complaint with them, they just ignore it. My Mail is being tampered with and no one there cares? What is this with the USPS? If the Postmaster General ever sees this PLEASE take action at this Post Office! I put it in the outgoing box, next day it is back in my mail box all torn up, not even postmarked??

  • Diane

When you call the phone numbers on either the website or on Google, you get a recording that states "please enter your remote access code." I had to wait over an hour calling the main customer service number - they told me my package had an incorrect address, but instead of showing that, tracking showed they it back to Columbus, Ohio twice, from ABQ to there and back again. Customer service told me tracking is faulty. If they were a public business they would go under, they are so incompetent.

  • Jasmin Lambert

Horrible! standing for an hour for them to not be clear on the information about their specific post office. Gave me the run around for an hour without giving me real and true information. Management really needs to be on top of things because their is absolutely no order in the Post office. There is very poor management and service workers are not knowledgeable on the information they give. Being a United States Postal Service they need to do better because mediocrity is not a good look.

  • Arianne Avery

The absolute worst. Opening time at this branch is when they feel like it, so don’t bother checking the hours. I know this because I have to visit this branch in person in order to get any of my mail. My neighbors and I haven’t had mail delivery in nearly 4 months because a postal worker damaged our cluster box. I’ve asked repeatedly when mail delivery service will resume. This branch will not provide any information other than that work is contracted out. They couldn’t care less.

  • Megan Fitzpatrick

Absolute incompetence. Line is always out the door with one person working. They change the hours and post a small note where no one notices. I came in to retrieve a parcel but no one was manning that station, I asked when someone might be there, the response was I don't know. Add to that my mail carrier out of this office crumples up my mail and throws it in the box. I called a supervisor to complain and he did nothing. Avoid this location. Government employees at their finest.

  • Nefarious Soul

This post office can never, Ever, get my address correct with packages. Every single time I have a missing package, they admit it was delivered to the wrong address with the promise of "we'll send out a courier to retrieve and correct the problem" which NEVER happens. Isn't your WHOLE job reading addresses correctly? Today, for the final time, I didn't even get an apology, just a quick reciting of how they aren't liable, even after admission of fault! YOU GUYS SUCK

  • Heather Tears

Wow!! I asked a simple question about where I would get priority boxes if they were out and I was treated extremely rude by an older employee with short reddish hair and glasses who sighed at me and told me you just have to wait a minute. I then asked if I needed to go back in line and she said “you have to wait until I’m finished doing what I’m doing because I’m not going to stop just to help you” umm.. lady it’s time to retire!! Extremely unprofessional!!

  • Quentin A. “Pastor Q” Lawson

I needed to ship a priority package to my daughter at NMSU. This office was conveniently located, and handled my needs efficiently. I accidentally left my small wallet, not to discover that I had done so, until I was on the other side of town. I returned and was reunited with my wallet. The counter clerks are friendly and efficient. I believe that they try hard to be pleasant and professional, however, some folks are impossible to please, no matter what.

  • Dani Boise

This location could use some work. The are several workers that need an attitude check and some that are great. The line for hold pickup, keys, etc is always LOOONG.. like the length of the lobby long. And I've heard an employee getting mouthy at another employee while working the sales counter. Not the most professional. However, can't complain about all the employees; one of the ladies at the sales counter is amazing and always quick/ helpful.

  • Joseph Chavez

I have been using this Post Office for quite sometime now (1 1/2 years), and have never been let down. I will admit that during some hours it can get busy, but other than that I've always been satisfied. The folks that work up front have always been helpful in helping me select the best service and the lowest cost. The busiest hours I've seen is after 4:30 pm, and around noon. But I will continue to use them as long as I live here.

  • Baylee Deerman

I have never been so frustrated in my life trying to deal with this post office. My mailbox was broken into during Christmas and they have failed to give me my package when I repeatedly went to pick up mail. I try calling, they never answer. I try going in and I'm there for 45 minutes. The workers are all very friendly and do try to help the best they can, but I still haven't received my package and it's been there since the 7th.

  • David Stauffer

This post office sucks. They "deliver" to the Ventana Ranch area and every night everyone is out re-delivering the mail. This means you lose you mail often. They did lose some very important mail of mine and when I went to complain the "manager" shrugged his shoulders and said "oh well". I'm glad they are going out of business and I hope with all my heart the people at this station become un-employed especially the "management".

  • kali Klena

I am super impressed by the team at this branch and I come frequently. During the Covid crisis the branch team members were always very professional and worked very diligently to handle a lot of complex requests as quickly as possible. Under what appeared to me to be massive increases in customer demand, I’ve felt this branch’s team has always been knowledgeable, courteous and focused very much on customer satisfaction.

  • Amanda Lodge

No one answers the phone- and when they do they are not helpful - no one takes accountability for the errors they make. pretty much the worst post office ever. For being govt. employees I would expect a higher level of service. They perform as if they don't care. If you ever lose a package or get a random key in your mailbox when both parcel lockers are open -these ppl wont know what to do or how to help. good luck...

  • Antoinette Gurule

Crappiest service I have ever experienced. Nobody knows whats going and trys to make you look like the crazy person. My locks were changed on the mailbox and nobody knew where keys were, if locks were changed, anything. 2 weeks and this is still an ongoing issue. Ive never felt so helpless trying to figure out something that shouldve been logged or put into the system. As the customer, I felt really shortchanged.

  • Carol M.

Been going to this post office location for many years. The workers are always polite and professional. There may be long lines of grouchy customers during the holidays, but that's certainly not the PO's fault. Considering it is a very busy location, it is clean, well stocked and the workers keep up a good attitude despite the many unreasonable, over exaggerating customers. I've never had any problems here.

  • Liz Garcia

It is annoying that all you get in your mail box is flyers and when you are not available to pick it up due to illness. You are threatened I return all your mail. Then you go in and they only have one person for pickups, inquires etc. there were at least fifteen in line and one very slow person helping. This is utterly ridiculous let the others help and get the job done quicker. The service is totally bad.

  • cast d

Median disaster ☠ I have to say this is the worst place to put a median.....i don't know how many people I've seen hit this or scrape this thing! Seriously this is a hazard. I really don't know the real purpose of it? Throughout the entire city I've never seen such a ridiculously placed median. Please remove it and save your customers car repairs. You have to drive a motorcycle in order to be clear of it!

  • BananaJoe

An employee by the name of Ruben was the kindest most helpful person I've come across in a long time. They respected my health and safety by following social distancing, and we're very helpful to every customer I saw come in. These people do not get the credit they deserve. Thank you everyone at this location, and a very big thank you to Ruben for all your help and excellent customer service!

  • Eddie Monstar

For some reason whoever delivers mail on Wednesday sends my packages to other addresses. I’m missing a package from last week and to try and contact this post office is impossible. So looks like I’m out on $56 because of some bs. Tried the website for a claim I gave specific detail and a tracking number and I got a email back saying they can’t locate my package because I need more detail.

  • Bj Ogborn

Im very frustrated at the service im receiving from this post office. We have 16 houses on our street and whomever is delivering the mail is not paying attention. Over the holidays we had 5 small packages delivered to other neighbors box, thankfully we received them. In the past 2 weeks we've had 2 packages that that were supposed to be delivered, we have not received. What is going on??

  • Drew Johnson

What a joke. Post office that doesn't even have stamps, automated machine or in person. There has been service issues at this location for the last 20 years, but not having a way to send out mail at a post office is inexcusable. I'd be totally fine if the government stopped subsidizing them and they went out of business. Totally inept. You can buy all the stamps you want at Smiths: )

  • Fran K

I have to say I was apprehensive in going to this post office after all the bad reviews, but the two people who were at the counter on 2/3/18 were very pleasant. The downside is I had tried calling about my mail not getting to me in certain cases and was never able to reach anyone. I still haven't resolved why my mail was returned to sender even though the address was correct.

  • Melissa Davis

My boxes are held until they feel like it's convenient to deliver them. Despite the tracking telling me it's out for delivery. My mail is sometimes opened and I have had things removed from packages and still delivered. When I try to talk to someone at this location about my mail not being delivered to me when it's supposed to I get a shrug. WORST post office in town.

  • Terry Dillard

They will never answer the phone. I have had many issues with my carrier and there is no way to get anything corrected without driving over there then stand in line to be told to wait for a supervisor. Thats another 1/2 wait. Poorly run 5 years later. Still the worst run post office in Albuquerque. Sad we cant get better management in this location

  • WildKatB

PKG box would not open and I cannot get my pkg. Called only number listed, on hold 20min only to be told I need to dial the local number. Called the local number that was provide... no answer (called about 10x). One of the attempts sounded like they picked up then hung up. I am so IRATE!!!! If I could give negative stars in this review, I would!

  • Derek Austin

The delivery is about as reliable as using a t-shirt cannon and saying a prayer. Multiple times the key to the parcel box has been left in the wrong mail box. They have cost me hundreds of dollars and there is noting I can do. All they say is, "according to the tracking # It was delivered" Yeah I know it was delivered- TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!

  • Ali K

This post office is the absolute worst! Whatever you do, do not get your mail held at any cost if this is your local post office. They will make you wait in a line for hours with only one person going and looking for packages, while the line to ship and buy stamps is completely empty and employees there are simply standing around.

  • Chris Chris

This is not a city post office. It's a rural route. Apparently the carriers get paid whether they finish the job in 4 hours or 12 hours. No wonder I've found my mail on the GROUND. Packages have been left in the parcel locker OVERNIGHT UNLOCKED.....TWICE. Th is is unacceptable. Time to use our cancel culture on this supervisor.

  • kari Willingham

I get get my neighbors mail, neighbors get my mail. It happens pretty often and not just a fluke. Now I’m missing some important priority packages that were supposed to arrive today. I’ve tried calling and the message prompts are all automated, so I’ve not been able to get a hold of anyone at this office. Super frustrating.

  • cheryl malaspina

Very busy. Staff are busy. They are friendly and polite. They do their best even when the customer is rude or customers expect the staff do packing and addressing boxes that clearly something the customer should have done before entering the building- just to keep the line moving. Hate seeing 5 year old reviews still up.

  • Freda Martinez

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. The staff is extremely rude. I waited in line to pick up a package for 40 minutes just to be told that I was in the wrong line, even though there are no signs telling you where to stand for different services! I had to go back to the line and wait another 35 minutes.

  • Samantha Marquez

Would give 0 stars. They hire people that cant read apparently because they said my $200 package was delivered and it never was.. WAIT maybe they put it in someone elses box BECAUSE WE GET THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOODS MAIL. ridiculous. Filed a claim online and they marked it "resolved" before ever trying to help me.

  • Anthony Sandoval

Literally, the worst case of mismanagement I have ever seen. The place is a train wreck. From rude employees, undelivered mail, long lines, no organization, and I can go on with so many issues. I really wish this post office would get it together. Not sure if every post office is like this, but I sure hope not.

  • Jay P

Tried to be short and simple. Postman missed delivers my packages. I called the office and was on hold for a long time. Then manager tells me that the postman admitted to missed delivered my mail. Sorry is all I got. They wanted to charge me to hold my mail or pay for a PO Box. Post Office reformed needed.

  • Tillie Bowen

I mailed a package out 2 weeks ago and the person I sent to still has not received it. Where is it and what is the problem. I am very frustrated. I will not use this post office again. No wonder they are a 1 1/2 star rating. They have the lowest rating out of all offices listed in Albuquerque. SAD

  • Y G

The absolute worst United States government workers. I feel like they get off on their horrible ratings on google and yelp! Everyone knows government workers are the worst but this post office branch takes the cake on worst of the worst. Slow service, long lines and horrible attitudes.

  • Juss B

**would give no stars if I could** Not sure if this post office is concerned with customer service, not even sure if they know what it means. I get it, staffing issues (maybe) but the current state of operations is not a path to success. No other way to put it....... Do better!

  • Shelby

This specific post office is garbage. I have had 3 different packages with LIVE plants be marked as delivered when they were never put in my box and I'm left to worry about them until USPS decides to deliver them which could be anywhere from 2 weeks later to never.

  • Eileen Roberts

I give this post office zero stars. We get other people's mail so I assume they're getting mine. Address numbers are the same but streets names are close different. One package we received, incorrectly delivered to my house, we took it over

  • Vincent Montoya

Only had good experiences here and it's been my local post office for 20 years. I've never had to call so I don't know what the issues are with answering the phone. The staff is nice though sometimes curt, but I get it, they are always busy.

  • R.I.P. Link (R.I.P. Link)

They legit never answer the phone system which is my ONLY way of communicating with this postal office. They have the worst automated system to top it off. I've been trying to contact them for over an hour with no luck. What a great way to

  • Eugenia Nitro Adagio

Today I got my package inside our mailbox at 4405 Setenata PL NW ALBUQUERQUE NM 87114 it was in our mailbox no.11 and the item that I ordered from AMAZOM was empty. This is the second time that my order disappeared from me. The first one

  • Don McAlexander

Since 1986, I have been mailing christmas packages from one of the two self service machines. Today there was only one machine there and couldn't mail package using it. Out of order ? No labels available to mail from counter. Went to ups

  • Christina Long

I'd give them negative stars if it were possible. They lose your mail constantly, especially if you live in ventana ranch apartments. If you call them up they never answer the phone. If you go in to the branch it's always busy and takes

  • Heather Sanders

There is too many things that have happened here to even begin to give a "long story short". I do not know what has happened to our mail system in America as it seems to be this way anywhere you live or go. They never answer the phone,

  • Catherine J.

Very hard to reach anyone at this location. Also tired of dealing with incompetent drivers. They'll randomly not deliver our mail, put certified letters in the box instead of coming in to have them signed, and constantly putting other

  • Barbara DiDonato

Why are the outside pick up boxes closed? ?? and have been for weeks! This is extremely inconvenient for anyone just trying to mail a bill or letter and be on their way. It is doubly inconvenient for those of us with walking/mobility

  • pegasus1787

Irresponsible!!! Put my mail on hold and kept mail at the post office without my request and/or knowledge. As a result, I have been without mail for days. Package that was sent to me during this time was marked as "delivered to my
