I ordered a package from a clothing company with express shipping because I wanted to receive it this past weekend. I understood it may not arrive on time due to COVID-19, but based on the expected delivery I figured it may only be a day late. Long story short, it took a week and I couldn’t seem to get anyone on the phone to tell me where my package was, why it was delayed, or if I would still be expected to pay expedited shipping etc. I received an update from the website that my item was delivered, but it stated “delivered to parcel locker”. I had to google this, and since my neighborhood doesn’t have lockers and it said sometimes they are delivered to the local post office instead. I tried calling the Mayport PO since they are closest to me, but they do not answer their phone, apparently according to reviews they never have. I reached out to the Fort Caroline PO and spoke with Eric (hopefully I’m spelling his name properly) and he was BEYOND helpful. He confirmed the label was updated in error and that my package is at their location currently and will be out for delivery to my home address today around noon, verified my home address again, and confirmed he would give me a call back after expected delivery to ensure my order is received. This whole experience was a pain (with COVID I understand this is to be expected, but nonetheless it was still aggravating), but Eric’s phenomenal customer service went above and beyond and I highly recommend to use this location over the Mayport location if you have a choice. If any branch managers or supervisors read this review- please give this man a raise. I can’t imagine the angry calls that must be coming through at a time where delivery is at an all time high and companies across America are severely understaffed, and yet this one representative was not only patient, kind, and prompt, but also willing to go above and beyond for one single customer and able to take my negative experience to a positive one with a simple 6 minute phone call.

My nearest post office is on Merrill Rd. but I thought there is NO WAY that the office on Ft. Caroline could be worse so I will try it today. I was SO WRONG. I was in the Ft. Caroline Rd. post office today a few minutes before 1. The were 2 employees- an older lady and a younger lady with big eyelashes. There was a woman in a black dress (with a man who was holding her purse) at the younger woman's window. Black dress lady had a bunch of tan envelopes she was rummaging through and taping up and then opening the tape. There were 6 people ahead of me in line. While the people ahead of me progressed through the older employee's line, black dress lady kept the younger employee's window tied up. It took me ONE HOUR to get up to the other lady's window. Who is rude enough to keep a line tied up while they open and re-tape envelopes? You'd have to ask black dress lady. What kind of employee just sits there and lets this happen? Ask big eyelashes. I heard the older employee tell her twice that the black dress lady could not just tie up a line like that. When I finally got done, black dress lady was STILL there with a flashlight that she had pulled out of her purse, and she was shining it all around the desk looking for something. Big eyelashes was still just sitting there not saying a word. The line was backed up to the door, and a man was complaining about the lady tying up the line. I forgot to mention that the self serve automated machine was not functioning properly. This was a ridiculous situation with a person who evidently waits until she gets up to the window to start preparing her envelopes for mailing while everyone waits on her. She should have been told to stand aside until she had her envelopes ready to mail. I now have a new appreciation for the Merrill Rd. office.

Someone in a U-Haul pushed mail box over maybe 10 degrees. Three days went by and everyone started asking one another if they had received any mail. Some were waiting for checks to survive. Went to this post office and was told that we would have to pick up our mail because the mail delivery person told them the mail box was on it's side and laying on the ground. Mail person refused to deliver the mail. I told the postal supervisor that it was tilted a little and that I had already straightened it up. She then said that a work order had already been put in place and everyone on our street would have to pick mail up daily. I complained more and told her that was down right stupid that the box was upright and functional and they can still replace it but need to continue the mail service. Almost a week goes by and we start receiving mail again. 1. No one told us or notified us mail service had been stopped 2. Even with minor tilt box was still operational 3. Mail delivery person lied said box was on its side 4. No one informed us mail had resumed Got a new box installed, now sometimes when you get a package they forget to leave the package box key, so your stuck not getting a delivery.

This is by far the worst branch of USPS I've been to. The staff are rude and discourteous, they almost out of their way to be unhelpful. When we first moved to the area they told us our mail was being delivered for a month even though we kept enquiring. Later we found out they were just holding our mail at the PO even though we'd been in there and they'd told us they had no mail for us. My husband and I both spoke to the manager a few times and although she seemed to have much better customer service than all other staff members it still took her a while to figure out why our mail wasn't being delivered. They delivered three of our packets to wrong addresses and the last time I went in there the priority mail costs had changed (which is important when you run a business and charge customers a certain amount of shipping) but they didn't have any prices up like other POs do, they refused to give me a list if the new prices and then told me I couldn't even take a photo of my own packages!!!! I will be driving the extra few miles to Mayport USPS from now on, they have much better customer service and actually seem to know what they are doing.

I live in The Valley at Hidden Hills. On Sept. 27 I mailed two letters, one of which was my homeowners quarterly association dues. Today, Oct. 3rd, my neighbor who lives two doors down knocked on my door and handed me the two letters that I had mailed on the 27th. They were not postmarked. I asked her where she found them. She said that she had been on vacation and when she went to the Cobblestone Office to pick up her mail that they were included in her mail. That is not the only issue here with this carrier. The mail rarely arrives before 5:00 pm when the past two carriers had the mail in the boxes by 3:00 or earlier. When there is a special delivery in the morning outside of his delivery hours he delivers in a T-shirt! Is that the image that the US Postal Service wants to project to the public? Is slow delivery the standard for mail service now? Where is management and supervision while all this is going? they obviously have shrugged their shoulders and gone about the business of collecting a paycheck. This is what happens when the public is at the mercy of a monopoly.

The older black lady that works here (the second desk) is extremely rude! She has the nastiest attitude.... The USPS must be desperate for employees! I have been in there at least 3 times and ended up getting her. One visit she told me that I was expected to have my package taped up and ready to go before she could serve me! Now at ANY other Post Office I've been to; they DO NOT have a problem taping a package! I do NOT know why she would expect customers to have packaging tape just laying around at home.... THAT'S WHY I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE! I've never been somewhere and had customer service be consistently horrible! I tried not to assume she was just pure nasty the first time at this location (thought maybe she was having a bad day), but I was WRONG! She's just nasty and miserable! When I came here today, I let someone go in front of me so I wouldn't have to get her! I am extremely disappointed in how the USPS would allow someone with this type of attitude deal with a slew of people on a daily basis!

Mail carrier only seems to show up when they have mail to deliver, forget about the fact that I have mail to send out and god forbid it might be time sensitive. Calling the service number was almost fully automated and fairly easy to use but the fact that I have to use it in the first place is the reason for the lowered rating. Edit: even after using the system and later speaking with a representative nothing happens. They will claim to file the report and tell you that they will correct the issue but that's just to placate you as the customer. This facility needs to be audited. Edit 2: Recent package was delivered opened. Contents undamaged and all present however, the box itself was opened prior to delivery. Attempted to file issue online however upon submitting the complaint the site encountered an error and forced me back to the start of the process.

The shadiest USPS location I've ever encountered/they're definitely doing some non official USPS behaviors here, and you seriously need to be thankful if your stuff is even delivered at al. The mailmen from this location hold onto your signature required parcels until the next day, you'll watch them on your ring driving by your house and making no attempt to actually deliver, or dropping a letter off on the mailbox and then marking "location inaccessible" on the tracking. I've left packages with this location and they don't ship out for a week or so until after being dropped off here. I have jewelry arriving and am going to have to record myself taking it straight to julies jewelry and opening it there before being tested, because this behavior makes me so worried I'm gonna have to make sure that they're not swapping out the packages with fakes.

  • Timothy Mohar

Package was marked as delivered on Tuesday yet never received. Filled a complaint and got called the next day saying it would be delivered Wednesday. Well Thursday came along no package. Went to the actual post office taked to Eric the "supervisor" and claimed would call me that day with an update. Well today's Friday and no word. Go back AGAIN and left a note with a new supervisor to have this guy call me. Its 6pm and no call, no help. So I had to re apply my complaint once again. Its soap. Why am I so petty about this? Its because its literally a squatch soap (1 bar) and either they delivered to the wrong house or the carrier stole my package. And they want us to trust them with mail in ballots. Pass my dudes. USPS is a failing buisness with terrible employs

  • Destiny Cruz

If I could give them zero stars I would. The horrible customer service I received was from none other than the locations supervisor. I got a phone call from the supervisor (Mary or someone’s name who starts with a M) for her to explain to me why my package was not delivered to me a week ago. As I was in the middle of my statement about how USPS washes their hands of a situation when not handled correctly she proceeded to cut me off and hang up in my face. I’ve worked in customer service a long long time and have dealt with all kinds of customers. Never would I think to hang up in a customers face especially when the customer hasn’t raised their voice nor used profanity. USPS has gotten so bad when it comes to customer service it doesn’t make any sense.

I pay for Amazon prime to get my packages in 2 days. I bought an accessory for a radio I was having installed on Tuesday. The installation appointment was the following Sunday. The package arrived at this USPS office on Thursday around noon. USPS then held on to the package and never delivered it. I had to miss my appointment today because I didn't have it. I lost the deposit on the appointment and when I called the office to get answers they denied that they had it even though it had a USPS tracking number. The woman then put me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. By this time, the place was closed and they stopped answering the phones. Amazon says my package will be here by Wednesday- 6 days after it should have arrived.

  • Zachary Ritter

Just like what everyone else says, never answer the damn phone. I called for the first time ever and actually got an answer(before reading the reviews). My package was marked as "undeliverable as adresssd". I just moved here so it may have been because the apartment complex didn't add my name to the box, etc. So upon calling I spoke to Lisa, didn't have the best customer service but did find my package and said she needed to know now if I could pick it up today, otherwise she would be sending it with the carrier tomorrow. Tried for an hour and half to call back and tell them to hold it and I will pick it up in the morning. Every time it rings for 5 minutes and then hangs up on you. Beyond annoyed.

  • Monica Gutos

I don't often leave reviews but the terrible experience I had here has compelled me to. I was having an issue with a package I ordered being forwarded to the wrong address and just wanted them to check the tracking number so see where it could be. Right out of the gate the employee at the counter had an attitude and was extremely rude for no reason. I was a little confused by they way she was phrasing questions and she treated me like I was the dumbest person alive and kept huffing and rolling her eyes. Then she rang for a manager to come over, but I stood to the side for about 10 minutes and no one came so I just left. If you can, avoid this post office and their terrible customer service.

  • N

There are two kinds of experiences you will have here. Either great service from a younger female or rude passive service from the older woman Gladys who is wearing a fake curly hair wig. Easy to recognize her based on this description. She on more than one occasion has been unprofessional not only to me but other customers who were in line ahead of me. She carries a distasteful bitter attitude to customers, which is disappointing due to me coming in with no issue whatsoever. Have a better work energy and it will reward you in life. I would ask that this truly be looked at and her position be considered as she truly gives off a negative spiteful energy. Smile Gladys, it'll look nice on you.

  • Jellie Acedo

Postman left me a note saying I missed. A delivery and can request a redelivery by scanning the QR code, the form brings you to nowhere. I logged into my Informed Delivery app, the same thing, the form for redelivery brings you nowhere. It will let you complete your name, address and tracking number for steps 1 & 2, then steps 3 & 4 is a dead end. Called the Fort Caroline (nearest USPS) office and phone rang forever. Called the 800 number and I was told my hold will be 45 minutes or so. Customer service on this company is so screwed up. I wanted to patronize them, but they’re making it hard for people to stay in business with them.

  • Mersaddles

Someone who is covid positive can't get ahold of anyone over the phone about a missing package. I can't just show up to ask my question about my packages. PICK UP YOUR PHONES. *edit*2023 suggestion to all customers: Don't bother paying for fast shipping or anything like that. Packages never arrive when they say they're going to. I was expecting a package to be delivered on a Monday (paid for express shipping) only for it to be pushed to Thursday, TO BE PUSHED TO FRIDAY. Better to just pay the normal price and pray your package actually arrives if you have to go through this post office.

  • Denise Torres

I had a tracking number that gave bad info and when I tried to trace my package I was given the same info. Pictures of mail that has yet to be delivered days later. This is terrible to not be able to reach a human being unless you go in, so today I have to go and see if I can get my mail found. Time off of work to make it happen. Just because no one answers the phone and no one really tracks the package thay just give you what the last available scan showed. Horrible no place to stick instructions that there scan is wrong that is why you are trying to find your mail in the first place.

  • Red Zed

Absolutely HORRID service. Moved into my new home. Got charged 25$ for the new key. Ok fine. 4 weeks later after asking them to hold my mail(which they never did) I got the key placed underneath my front door mat. No description of which mailbox is mine. Tried all of the boxes and none unlocked. Called to the post office. She said she does not know which is mine. I asked if she could find out as I have important, time sensitive mail. She said she would have the driver put a post it on the mail box that is mine. This place is zero help. Hope I never have to interact with them again.

  • Ashley Woodfell

The ladies in this post office are very rude and unprofessional. I run a business, everyone I bring them my packages they huff and puff and make comments to the other workers that they shouldn't have to scan in my stuff. They also try to lie and tell you they can accept your package then when you call them out they tell you that they will just take the package. If it wasn't for them actually getting my packages out on time I wouldn't even go to this one. Very ride and unprofessional if I treated my customers with the kind of attitude they treated me, I would be out of business.

  • Cindie

The last time I visited the line was all the way to the door with one gentleman working behind the counter at 1:30 p.m. I only had something to drop off it already had postage on it but there were no places available to put it and be sure that it was stamped that day. A kindly woman said she had things to drop off as well she would be happy to take mine. I know in this day and age that is absolutely the wrong thing to do. You're not supposed to give mail to a stranger or handle someone else's mail that I would never recommend doing this. But it did work out for me.

  • Joseph Peeonu

Worst post office I've ever been to, the automatic kiosk self serve machine is always broken. The 2 ladies who work there are the most annoyingly rude people I've ever encountered in customer service, they seem like they always woke on the wrong side of the bed and treat you like its your fault their husband left them. fire these ladies and hire new people who want to work there. P.S - The old white dude is really nice and helpful, I've never had a bad experience with him. He's a bro, so is the tall black dude, they're both cool.

  • Nataniel Oritz Todd

Have had SEVERAL issues with my mail being delivered. The carrier has intentionally lied and said that mail & packages have been delivered but has not. Recent issue is havimg a package delivered BACK to sender due to 'incorrect' address but the sender has confirmed the address used and it was correct! Need that package for a work engagement!!!!! Now I cannot locate the location telephone on Fort Caroline Rd to inquire what is going on with the absolute LACK of professionalism and the consistent lack of delivery issues!!!

  • geno “snaggletooth” barrios

Very rude and incompetent. I filled out a hold mail form at this office and my mail continued to be delivered. They never answer the phone and when you go to the post office to talk to someone they act as if you are bothering them. All the posts on this web page are true, and nobody does anything about it. The ladies who work there should find new jobs if they dislike the ones the have so much. I'm sure there are many competent friendly people who would like those jobs, and we the customers would be better off.

  • Adianez Caban-Sosa

They NEVER answer their phones. My apartment complex had our mail moved to this place because the mailboxes were broken. Went to go pick it up and the lady didn't even bother to check if my mail was back there, she told us our mailboxes were fixed. Went to our mailbox and it wasn't fixed. So now my mail is MIA. Who knows? Maybe they have it and she was just too lazy to check. That HAS to be against some law. If they had answered their phones, maybe this would've been resolved. But too lazy for that too i guess.

  • Michael Shemansky

Terrible customer service. The manager needs to be fired! They wouldn't even pick up the phone for me or Amazon customer service! The supervisor had step up from corporate and write up a case. My package is over a week late and its at their office. I still haven't received it, and I'm too busy at work to leave, thats why I order on Amazon prime. I don't understand, if they have my package why not just deliver it? There wasn't even an attempt to deliver an item that should have taken 1-3 business days.

  • C Lalgee

Very disappointed and WILL NOT be using USPS ever again. I ordered items for a debut event for my business and PAID for EXPRESS shipping. The tracking device said “OUT FOR DELIVERY” and expected to be delivered at 6:10 AM. It is now 11:30 PM and I have still not received my packages. I am very disappointed at how unreliable our GOVERNMENT US postal service is. Thank you for delivering my EXPRESS SHIPPING package on time, wasting US tax $$$ and ruining my debut event. Great job

  • Jennifer Lopez

The absolute worse but I'm learning quickly that all Post offices in Florida are terrible. I arrived at 8:27am, a few cars in the parking lot, at 8:30 people began walking in. I sat in my car to gauge the time people spent inside, I left after 10 minutes after not ONE person walked out (yhose that walked in all had packages). I can't completely lay blame on the workers, people who visit the post office without an idea of how they want a package to ship are just as terrible!

  • Virgil Simbulan

I use this post office a lot, since it’s not as busy as others nearby. Service is always great so I’m not sure where all the complaints come from. But today, I just wanted to give Mr Kin a shoutout. I was having issues trying to ship an oddly shaped package, and he went above and beyond to make it happen for me. He was patient, and very friendly. Kin, if you’re reading this, thanks a lot bud. I was having a rough day, but your genuine personality turned it around for me.

  • Kay Rodriguez

This post office is WAY faster than some of the others in the area!!! It’s three years later, and I am here to confirm my review. I was at the post office on Beach, and the line was a monstrosity. I am sure that I was able to drive to Fort Caroline AND send my package before I would’ve been halfway through the Beach and Philips lines. IN AND OUT in two and a half minutes Seriously, if you can afford to, go to this location. It’s worth it if you’re short on time.

  • Barbara Leis

They are the most uncaring, rude and impatient employees ever assembled in one place. If they acted like that anywhere else, they'd not be employed after their first day on the job. No employer would stand for it. But to be fair, kudos to the people ( I've seen 2 different men) who walk up and down the line to assist - they were extremely helpful and pleasant. P.S. I tried calling before I went and the phone just kept ringing. There wasn't even a recording.

  • A. Whittinghill

A package was shipped on 7/7, somehow on 7/20 they listed the item as being held at the post office by the customers request. I never requested this. Why would I? Now I have to go out of my way and be late for work to go pick this up. This is fishy to me. Not only does an item coming from Kentucky take 13 days to get here but then it mysteriously gets held. I will be hard pressed to purchase anything online that will get shipped via USPS again.

  • Susan Nemeth

I use this post office several times a month and have always been treated to good service, quick and accurate answers to questions and concerns, and polite and considerate communications with every agent. It is a busy post office but they manage crowds well without hurrying customers. I’ve seen a number of demanding and grouchy customers who were quite unpleasant to the staff but even they were treated respectfully.

  • Diane Fulp

I was expecting a prescription delivery from CVS by 9 pm tonight. My regular mail was delivered at 8 pm, but no prescription. I just checked informed delivery and it states that an attempt was made and the delivery location was unavailable. That is a bunch of bull because it is a mailbox on the street. How is that "unavailable"? We continue to get shoddy service, yet prices are constantly on the rise!

  • Andrea Molinar

I’ve had a package stranded here for about two weeks, and, though extremely helpful and cordial, my local post office was unable to assist with my support case. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about this post office. I have tried to reach them by phone multiple times, and, as many others have experienced, the phone just rings. No one has ever picked up. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

  • Edward Bade

Been trying to get a hold of them for days as I had 2 pakages that were supposed to be delivered and never recieved them..and both were said they were delivered on the same day...and never did the mail lady come to my door as we have the mail boxes on the road and of course mail lady said they were put in my box as in the past my neighbors have gotten my mail...I am so upset as they were presents

  • Jarrod Johnson

Edit 3/22/22 - I have now called 5 more times but received no answer. We keep receiving someone’s mail, and I’m trying to let them know. Edit 12/9/21 - what is the purpose of the phone if no one answers? I’ve heard this phone ring for over 10 minutes to speak to this local post office. Incredibly slow at answering callings. I often have to call 5-10 times before someone will pickup.

  • 904 CZV

This post office has its ups and downs. It depends which cashier you get. Yes there are a couple who are extremely rude. I always send packages to some friends in Norway and if you tell them Norway, they huff and puff like it’s a big deal and that I’m crazy. Hello- you’re a post office. Mail is not just limited to the states dudes. There are other countries outside of the US. Hello?

  • Norma Morales

Bridgett was very rude. I went to pick up my mail. Bridgett seemed very annoyed when helping me. She stated I had no mail. I asked if she can please check again because it's been 3 weeks and I know I had mail. She checked again and with an attitude stated I had no mail. I asked to speak to a manger and sure enough he found all my mail. She was just so rude and it was uncalled for.

  • Daniel Trumble

Horrible customer service. The employees are always slow, and there is one older woman there who is constantly rude to people. I have seen her ignore customers and just yell out "Next" when they're asking to speak to a supervisor. Absolutely every negative stereotype about government employees holds true in this place. I only gave one star because zero is not an option.

  • Ryan Hannon

Tracking showed that my package was elivered on the 2/26/16 but there was no key in my mailbox. I called the location 5 minutes prior to closing on Saturday and spoke with, Andre. He couldn't have been more helpful!! He called the carrier and said that she would be back by later on to see if she put the key in the wrong slot. Thank you, Andre!!

  • Courtney Hardman

I can't believe how rude and unprofessional the ladies are, that work at this post office. On top of everything, my box is lost in the mail, as it was suppose to take 4-6 weeks to ship to K bay, Hawaii. I'm very upset with this post office and how the lady I dealt with there, handled me, as we were in hurry to leave town on military orders.

  • michael hayes

I wish they had no star raiting. I dropped off a package on a Monday and 6 days later their is no movement on the shipment. So I try to call and no one ever picks up the phone. I then drive up their to ask what is going on, and the clerk told me to wait a few more days. USPS can not figure out how they are loosing money

  • Michael Branham

Ebay is my business. I always sign up for my packages to be picked up the night before, on now two separate occasions my packages were never picked up. Also was having a very expensive package delivered that required a signature upon drop off and package was never received and no signature was ever signed for package.

  • Dawn Waller

They large package drop box is always broken. Closing at 1pm on Saturday is also inconvenient for those who work full time. I asked today when the box would be fixed, since I can’t drop a package and was told they put in a request 3 MONTHS ago!!!! Absurd. 3 months to fix a box so people can drop packages!!!!!!!

  • Jon S

Clerk #6, was extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to my wife when she was in the process of sending me a care package. I was on the phone in her back pocket and overheard the whole interaction. Alright, Karen.. if you hate your job so much then you should quit. In all reality you should be FIRED!

  • Greg Eikenberry

Could there be a more sorry example of government workers. Sums up the total selfish attitude of going postal. Try and get a mis delivered package accounted for by these folks. You may as well wait for a bus to the moon. I'm sure it would be easier to make happen than getting result through the post office

  • Purple Reign

This post office is horrible and gives government agencies a bad name. This is the only place expecting your packages to already be taped up. They act like they can’t help with anything . They get paid to do nothing . Nothing but laziness at this office. The only helpfully person here is the manager Andre

  • * Duck

The post box service is bad. Once again, I just got mail in my box that was months old. Why am I get March's mail in October !?! I had a package that showed delivered, but there was no key or notice. Talking to the manager is a waste of time. He is full of excuses. This time I am going over his head.

  • Brion McDermott

I live in Queen's Harbour, a gated community of over 1025 homes. We have a new carrier who apparently can't read addresses or names. I've received mail for 5 different residences, one not even in QH this week alone. Of course he has big pay and big benefits and we get it all for 50 cents a stamp :(

  • Joel Gutierrez

I dropped off two packages at this store specifically, and both ended up getting lost in the mail. Charlie, one of the representatives was so rude, and made me pay the difference in shipping due to an error, and it still didn’t get to the buyer. Horrible USPS store. Don’t ever come to this one.

  • Travis

Edit 1/21/22 - they are getting better This is the worst USPS office I have worked with in my life. Since I moved to this area 2 years ago, we have had numerous issues with receiving our Mail. I used to have a high degree of respect for the USPS, but this office has shattered that trust.

  • Shahnaz Jan

Today I waited in line for 20 minutes for clerk to mail my package. Only one cashier n the line was about 15 people, she was very slow, I told her to get help but she didn’t even say anything. People use their lunch break to do their things, but I really not satisfied with their service.

  • William Harrover

are current delivery person is put wrong addresses in our box and others have been brought to us by other neighbors this new man is one of a half doesen in a couple of months. we had a excellent delivery Pearson named Kim . we would like her back .we need people who readbefore dropping

  • Roc Ga

Most definitely a vindictive postal driver on the route, refuses to get out their truck to deliver packages requiring a signature. Please report your issues to tye postmaster general, people! There is obviously an issue at this location and with this areas drivers that is extensive

  • Jessica L

By far the worst post office! The inconvenience they are causing me is ridiculous and the vindictive mailman or mailwoman is by far horrible. People don’t check their mail every 10 days it’s 2021 internet exist bills are paid online. It is a government agency what can we expect.

  • Michael Kelley

A Post Office is a Post Office. Why do people expect the world from a Post Office. The employees struggle because of all the changes over the years. I feel for Postal workers. There are 3 windows and there is usually one Postal worker.that is not their fault ! Grow up folks.

You have a postal worker stealing packages. Marked as delivered today and then 1 hour later marked not delivered no address.... But it was SCANNED DELIVERED and showed on informed delivery so address was correct. You need to fire whoever works in the back immediately

  • Brianna Smith

The postal workers here or no help and rude. It looks like they hire anybody. the older lady at counter always has an attitude. They need to do better. The manager was nice enough to stop and help me. Everbody else should be let go for people who really want to work,

  • Rebecca Porreco

I brought in a pkg to be mailed and the clerk was distracted, not offering customer service needed for quality service. She did not ask me what kind of mail service I wanted nor answer my questions. Better customer service is needed, with a smile, not a frown!

  • Mrchilipalmer14

Even by lowly USPS standards, the customer service is atrocious. They actively try to be UNHELPFUL. I’d rather be in a DMV or a Walmart. Awful. If you go there, make sure you value your time as much as they value your time, which is to say, not at all.

  • Chris Meyer

when someone acknowledges your years of wonderful service you have done at this location, thank them. DONT BE A COMPLETELY RUDE PERSON. I'LL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS LOCATION AGAIN. MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS "WHITE" THAT SHE DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE ME.

  • Steve Allen

8/24/2023 Attitudes are worse than ever. Sitting around on their phones and show no sense of urgency in helping customers. Cheer up! Never seen, such a bunch of Sad Sacks! What’s are they so sad about? Good Salary and Benefits from Uncle Sam!

  • Gear Bangin

They never ever ever scan the packaging! I’ve been using this post office for probably 5+ years. And I constantly have upset customers because the package doesn’t get scanned in when I drop it off! Management please handle your people!

  • M .P.

Multiple packages have been "lost" and no resolution or findings of them. I go to the Merrill and Fort locations and it is only the Fort caroline post office that I've had these issues with. Too much money lost :/

  • Richard Egan

I moved here last June and they lost 5 weeks of mail because they never forwarded my mail. I just returned from a trip and they lost 7 weeks of my mail because they never forwarded it. They need new management.

  • kelli broadfoot

This location continues to have the absolute rudest people working the counters. They literally go out of their way to be unhelpful. It’s been this way for years. If I could give less than one star I would

  • Alexander Sanabria

Just called and guess what? They answered!! I have to admit though, I prayed before I called and got Mike of all people!! He was, as everyone here has reported, very courteous and friendly! Kudos to Mike!!

  • Allie Jordan

GLADYS WAS VERY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! NO HELP AT ALL! I haven't needed to go to the post office in years, and if THIS is the type of service they have niw, I PRAY I never have to go back! Geez!!

  • Zinea Reese

Do not do business here. They lost my package and didn’t offer any assistance. The tracking says it never left Jacksonville, and all they had to offer is that they don’t keep packages there overnight.

  • Leah Oxendine

Only one employee usually working here, and she is very slow and takes her time visibly. No effort to be helpful or anything. Usually have to wait 20 minutes in line just because of this factor.

  • Patrick Fleming

I know people typically only leave reviews on the post office if they've had a bad experience so I just wanted to go out of my way and recognize this location for the helpful and friendly staff.

  • Keith Jones Sr

Close to my house, walking distance actually. Staff is just like downtown Jax, not friendly just doing a job and it really shows. Not much smiling or laughing just hurry up and buy unfortunately

  • Dale Dickison

This is the worst post office I’ve ever seen! We consistently have lost letters and packages from this location! We are actually debating on ordering things online that need to arrive on time.

  • Mario Mccoy

I want to give a special thank you to Nece and Gladis both saving my packages TWO days in a row from getting returned due to my negligence! Thank you ladies for the great customer service!

  • Serena Rizk

How do you operate a business without ever answering the phone? Called them 3 times and it rang for 5 minutes each. So unprofessional!! Not to mention they have the WORST customer service

  • Greg Stratton

Just shipped some holiday stuff. The line was a little long but moved fast. They even had someone helping with the self-service kiosk that made it lightening fast. Great experience

  • Will Dragon

Only one person in the counter everyday and holidays. The management need to do something about this. Slow and BAD service here in this location at Fort Caroline jacksonville FL.

  • Tisha Stephens

I love this post office our mailmen and ladies work hard everyday to make sure we get our mail. They do not have a 9am to 5pm schedule they start and fininah when it's done

  • Madison Goucher

I sell clothes and I had to ship one, so I drop it off early last week and they still haven’t shipped it. Unbelievable. That’s mine and someone’s else money just sitting.

  • Amanda K

No one ever answers the phone - my passport and other items are lost in the mail and I was told it was sent on 6/23/2022. Never arrived in my mailbox. its so frustrating.

  • Noche J

The Beach Blvd had a crazy long line so I decided to come to Merril rd. It was an excellent decision. No line and Jeanette was friendly and got me out the door quickly.

  • Luisanna Contreras-Tovar

They will steal your mail if it looks interesting. Two of my pieces of mail never arrived to their destinations, and they claim to have no way to tell what happened.

  • Charles Hayes

I have only been in the office and worked with them over the phone. Unlike the other reviews this was one of the nicest and friendliest staffs I have experienced.

  • Payman Alimi

They put in my mail and someone else’s mailbox, And put in someone else’s mail in my mailbox. They got it half backboard. I never seen such a unorganized company.

  • Dusk Ride

They won’t let me pick up my package sent to me because I’m under 21 and won’t work with me to get this resolved. Literally worst post office I’ve ever been to.

  • Da’Shanae 340

I have done my passport like a year ago and still have yet to get my belongings back also there mail carrier is opening my mail and withholding it from me

  • Jake Knight

My experience could have been better. They didn't explain anything I needed to ask them about my new po box. And lied right to my face on 4 occasions

  • Thomas Franklin Richardson Artero

In and out in less than 5 minutes right at 5 pm Awesome customer service from the long eyelashes female working the third desk

  • Chibi Cutie

So thankful for the extra help our local carrier and post office put in to find our lost package!

  • Self Mayde

Waiting for 50 minutes past open for them to open what a joke
