I can not ever reach a person at my local post office or at any of the numbers provided by the senders. During covid, it was frustrating but understandable. My USPS delivery times are between1030am -7pm. It depends on when the carrier manages to come strolling with no sense of urgency. It is frustrating. I no longer can drive, disabled Navy Veteran and have come to depend on the mail services for Rx and groceries, etc. When there is a different carrier, she is on time, packages, medications deliveries are made. If she unable to deliver, a slip is left in mailboxes with intructions. I was left a slip on Saturday May 29,2022. I filled the slip out and it back in mailbox per instructions. It is now Thursday June 2nd. The slip is still in my box and I just checked status with the company that had mailed package and their includes 2 attempts were made and that my package is being held at the branch closest to me. No one delivered anything or attempted any delivery before 6pm June 1 and I can not talk with a representative. It is the same kind of service all times of the year the year. Packages missing, tampered with, etc.

Line out of the main lobby, continues out of the building, only has one person at the counter. 25+ people waiting. There to pick up a package, that is 4 days late on delivery. The online tracking says is waiting and ready for pick up, but the packages were all sent out to drivers for delivery, with no tracking updates given to anyone. Most were in line to pickup a package, that is now not where they said it would be. They said packages couldn't be delivered due to weather, so they are holding the packages for pickup, then they send them out for delivery, makes sense right? Not at all. Lot wasn't plowed from the 12" snowfall, unsafe lot condition. If i can shovel my driveway, they can certainly get the lot cleared, at a federal building, from the DOT with large plow trucks.

If I could leave no stars I would. Terrible customer service at the front counter - very rude and short tempered. THEY misplaced MY package and gave me attitude when I asked them to please locate it!! It is clear the entire staff is unkind as well. The mail carrier that delivers our mail said because I had a dog LOCKED INSIDE MY HOUSE that she couldn't deliver my package... Wait for it... But DID leave my mail! So she put the mail in the mailbox that is attached to my house - but couldn't set a package (a very VERY small package) down on the chair right next to the mail she delivered. Very unprofessional and apparently lazy. I will NOT be using this post office to ship my packages any longer.

Good morning gang. In business I try to conduct all my affairs as a Professional. Telling the New Employees, I pay you like an adult. I do expect you to act like one! I Just received this pile of letters. Does Federal Offence still apply? Now Fraud, and corruption from one of the Few Branches of the Government I still Somewhat trusted, and respected. Taking pride is the key to success In my World. And there are consequences. O. M. G!!!!! The only mail I get now is mostly others. It's nice to see you hiring special needs Employees. But ........ Is reading still a requirement? .

Here it is 7:07 pm, 12/28/21 and no one on my street has gotten their mail or seen a mail man or one of their trucks - what the heck is going on? Is this a staffing problem, are they running behind, is it DeJoy doing something to the mail, or what is causing these complete delays? Aren't they supposed to delivery the mail no matter what - like neither sleet, or rain will keep us from delivering your mail. All that dedication has completely gone out the window!!! It almost like they have stopped delivering the mail here in the Brightwood USPS, Indianapolis Branch.

Worst PO ever. They hated holding large packages for me (I live in a bad area and work when delivered so I don't want it there) she said its not her job to hold anything ever. They held my mail and forced me to purchase a PO box or they wouldn't release my mail. They have a bad attitude. They don't really deliver anything anyway they'll leave a note and say they "tried" and the manager is horrible. I hate that this is the closest one to me. Now I just avoid them IF I CAN. I don't recommend this PO at ALL!! I WISH I could leave negative star but oh well.

This post office is a joke. I never received my mail. Watched carrier open up a letter with a credit card in it and pocket the card. I went up there to complain and the manager said she doesn't believe me. I have since then installed security cameras to catch this thief. Most days IF I receive my mail it's days or weeks late. I can never get ahold of anyone from the main post office to complain. I have also had 2 packaged sent to me over the last year....I didn't receive either of them.

For 3 Sundays I was to have deliveries and have yet to get them. Got notice that it was delivered and it wasn't, as recent as sunday May 23, 2021 got a text saying undeliverable and notice put on my door (2 of them) went to look no notice. Called and to manager got no where with her she said that the package never arrived but yet the app says differently, so how can I get a supposed notice on my on my door (which I never got) if my package never arrived to your facility. This is BS

It’s seems like I am never receiving any mail in the last couple months. When I do it weeks late and I’m getting fed up. The days the mail carrier does come it’s 7:30 8:00 at night when my old mail carrier was never later than 2 or 3 pm and was here everyday except the days the post office is closed. There is something very wrong with this post office.

I was rushing and forgot to put a stamp on my letter and accidentally put in the mail box at this location. I was freaking out! I ran inside and was pleased to have Ms Erica help me out. She actually called me and told me that she found my letter and she put a stamp on it for me. I really appreciate the dedication and care. Thank you Ms Erica again :)

You will NEVER get a key to your mailbox I’ve live in my apartment for half a yr and still this place hasn’t given me a key. I have to go into the post office to pick up my mail when I have time. Why do we still need this waste government service? It’s dying service that doesn’t function properly anyway.

Super friendly staff, and they know my name and me on sight at the 2830 N. Sherman Drive 46218 office. I have a P.O. box here. Never once had any problems with my mail. Been coming here since I was little. I'm gonna miss my favorite clerk when she retires later this year!

Haven't received mail in almost 2 weeks and when we called they were rude and basically said there isn't anything they could do about it. We have informed delivery to tell us what is coming in the mail that day and we are still miss mail from June 2021

This is getting worse by the day!!! Have "Informed Mail" know what's supposed to be delivered daily! Even our Federal mail doesn't come and when its delivered it's after 7 or 8pm. I'm furious and we need our own Neighborhood post office on our corner.

Been trying to get my mail delivered for 3 days now. All my mail and packages are sitting at the post office. I'm quadriplegic and need it delivered can't pick it up.... Horrible service Indianapolis. Sherman drive location...

I'm not sure, but I was wondering if our services have been cut. There are times during the week that we don't get any mail at all. So can tell that I am very disappointed in the the service I get. I am in the zip code 46218.

Delivering mail to house with no mailbox and will set it anywhere around the property. Been notified countless times and still continue to do same, although the law states not to leave mail anyplace that there's no box.

Since the change of my former carrier I have been trying to get the current carrier to lock my gate she unlocked it to enter my yard appears to have a problem locking it when she leaves I am fed up

I have 3 residence mail in my Box I'm in the 3400 block and this mail goes in the 3500 block The mail Carrier appear to have been drinking Where is my mail if I have other residents mail in my Box

The alley behind the Sherman Drive Post Office in Indianapolis is horrible. It has been that way for a number of years and continues to get worse. Who is responsible for paving this alley?

Used Priority mail-$7-( live feeders)supposed to be 1-2 days,it's been 4 days! Then I found out ONLY Priority Xpress mail is refundable.

They fail to deliver packages with no oversight. They have lost or stolen several ID'S. They need to have oversight.

Never had a problem with them and they are very friendly and hice. Even tho sometimes guey can be kind of sarcastic
