I went there to ship two packages. When I got there, there was one person in front of me in line and two people being helped at the counter. One of the ladies was talking on her phone and it took her about 10 minutes to get her envelope shipped. The gentleman in front of me had a box and I could tell he was already frustrated with this lady who was on the phone and not even paying attention to what the customer service lady was asking. During this time the lined had filled up more, there was now 5 or 6 people behind me. The customer service lady is joking around with the lady on the phone and being as friendly as ever. The man finally goes to the other service desk while I continue to wait. The lady finally gets her envelope sent and I get called up. I needed a label and a receipt. The customer service ladies demeanor immediately changes when I come up. I ask how she's doing and she replies "fine, why are you up here, do you need a receipt or something?" As politely as I can I tell her I need to ship two boxes. She says "What's the number?" I assumed she was taking about the home address number and I start reading that out when she cuts me off in a rude way saying she needs the zip code. Why she didn't just ask for the zip code is weird but okay. I give that to her and then she hands me a label to write the address on and is rushing me on everything that I'm doing. She remarks how "I'm on it today, you need to hurry up" and also said something else along those lines along with how she's got people waiting in line and I'm holding up the line. Keep in mind when I got there, there was no line and the line didn't fill up until the lady in front of me who was on the phone took forever. I'm not an inpatient person so I dont care either way but when I'm rushed and basically insulted during this whole process and blamed for the long line, that is not right. I still remained polite and she eventually tells me to finish writing the label somewhere else so she can help someone else. I dont think I'm racist but maybe I am for thinking this but both the customer service lady and the lady on the phone were both African American. With how she treated that lady compared to how I was treated was just out right wrong. It couldn't of been more blatant either. It's insane how most people think white people are the most racist people when its the complete opposite. Edit: My African American girlfriend said I should mention her after I told her about what happened and showed her the review that may be seen as possibly racist by most ignorant people.

I had a really bad experience today with a man who attended me. I was trying to mail a box internationally. It was my first time doing so. They recommended to use a cheaper box which I was grateful. They gave me a form to fill out for international shipping. But I went back to the desk to ask about what tape I should use. He looked super confused. I kept trying to reword it and he finally understood. He said the tape was on the box, I was like “ohhh okay, I have never sent a package internationally.” To let them know that it was new to me. I mentioned it like 2 or 3 times. Then I went to transfer everything from my box to the box I received . I filled out the form for international shipping. Then I went back up there. He told me to fill out the box too (TO: and FROM:). I kind of stood there for a second and then he realized I did not have a pen and he sighed in annoyance and gave me one. He said to move out of the way so he could pass the next person. I moved to the side and filled out the box. Then I went back up and he told me I didn’t fill out the form completely and I had to put a value on the items. He sighed and said he didn’t have all day. I told him I wasn’t sure. And he said to hurry up, that they were about to close. He said a few other things to show his annoyance and how I was taking long. He took it from me and he filled it out. At that point I was sniffling and trying my best to hold back my tears. I was really confused with the process and it was near closing time. Which I understand his rush, but I do not think he had to be so rude. I don’t think I’m coming back to this place again.

**EDIT** Well, I just found out that the photos taken at this location specifically for my husbands passport, cannot be used (over exposed & blurry). So not only did we pay money for photos that cannot be used AND for expedited service, we still may not get our passports in time because of this set back. Original Post: Typically haven't had an issue sending mail through this location, in fact it's been fantastic service! But passport application through this location on the other hand, has been a nightmare. My husband and I paid for expedited passport service as we were within the 6 week window for routine service. We went expedited just to be on the safe side so we would actually have our passports in time. Decided to go to this location for pictures and to send the documents certified. Unfortunately, this location sent our passport docs to the WRONG processesing location (Texas) instead of the location that handles expedited passport applications (Philadelphia). Even if it was routine service, the documents should have been send to Philadelphia as we don't live in CA, FL, IL, MN, NY, or TX. We haven't received any notice that the documents were received at any location and it's been almost two weeks. I'm now trying to track down where the application is and see if it has made it to the correct processing center.

Wow what a poor customer service .. i went in there today and I do not care if they remember me or not! I as a customer I try to explain to both ladies working there today what I needed the the first lady i spoke to told me to go talk to the other lady because she didn't know How to do what I was requesting , I walked to the next window and I haven't said anything and this lady is telling me 'she already knows what I need!! I said let me explaing you what I need.. Her answer was "" ja ja !! Really!!! I explained her ( while she is on her phone) doing I don't know what and I don't care !! and she didn't give me an pecific answer, so I had to ask her ""are you listening to me ?? And she kept looking her phone and said "yes"! I work at a government office and this is not the customer service I give to my people because I believe they come to us because they don't know how to do whatever they are asking for .. so really a poor poor service and if you don't like your job I think you should look for another one .. or go to classes to learn on how to start treating people with the same respect you want to be treated. because if you come to me you and I'm on my cell phone , you re not gonna like it .. Have an awsome evening !!

First off let me say I have a insane amount of trouble filling out forms and following directions. I had to come to this post office to get expedited passports for me and my son. I must have went over how to do everything 10 times on line and was still stressed out. I came in and Nicole Adams Bebley was the person that helped me. I can not say enough about her, I have never had anyone so patient, sweet, and helpful assist me. She calmed me and helped me to complete everything. I read some bad reviews on here about customer service and my experience could not have been any better. So much that I made a point to write her name down. This lady deserves a raise I am not easy to deal with when I am stressed. Nicole Adams Bebley is a blessing at this post office, Im sure if she gets this she will know exactly who I am. Thanks again Oh yea and never a line any of the 3 times I have come here.

I should never have to hold on a line for 3+ hours to speak to anyone. My package was not delievered, it tells me to call to reschedule. when I shouldnt have to. They said no one was available or my job was closed. Lie, my job is 24 hours there is always someone there That is one reason I have my packages go there for convenience. I try calling to reschedule delivery or for a pick up & cant get through for more than 3 hours. Not only that, but its telling me that my tracking number is not valid. I can clearly see on the site where I was tracking my package that it is valid. Otherwise how did I know they didnt deliver it? Pathetic automated system that takes forever to even give you an actual live person. Then to say my hold time is over 3 hours. Yea right. I dont have that kind of time. Seems they need to do some hiring & get people on those phones to take calls. This is ridiculous.

This particular staff was rude, and she rushed me. I'm trying to send money that's a alot and just wanted protection (like insurance) so they don't lose it and was told they don't do that in the rudest way. I also filled out a tracking paper, she never explained how and rushed me, so I filled it out wrong, but out of frustration she just took it. :p I didn't even do anything and was treated badly. It was so bad I'd give it a zero, but that's not possible, so I give it a one ‍♀️✨️

I absolutely love this branch! Ms. Nicole literally saved me from an extra day of work and I am forever grateful for her going the extra mile! This was my first time using the self-service kiosk and one of my packages slid behind the kiosk. The kisok was bolted to the ground, couldn't be moved and I had no way of reaching behind it to get my package...UGH! All the employees jumped right in to help me retrieve my packet. I appreciate them all for being so kind and lending a helping hand!

  • Ali Rey

I just left this location literally in tears of joy. After going to UPS and having a not so pleasant experience, I drove all of the way across town in rush hour traffic to this downtown location (it's open latest) and received some of the best coustomer service I have ever had. I walked in there stressed and frustrated and they helped me through the whole process and accommodated to me and my needs. Those ladies are AWESOME!

  • Ana Downing

I live downtown Indy and this location is my ideal choice to deliver my packages. It’s got convenient parking and never seems to be crowded the times that I had been there! I do think the employees need more training as far as working with the customers. It’s not pleasant to go there with people with sour faces. That’s the only thing I have to say as far as service is concerned.

  • Jan Newton' Turner

The 1 person that has waited on me both times of my visit, I just started going to that branch a couple of weeks ago due to some mail issues I have but , when you are going through something sometimes all you need is a person that will treat you kindly not knowing they made a impact for me on those days of my visit. Thank you !!!

New governor Indiana_ ___ Pence moved state_ _____ Also because of post office has new staffing_ __ I think it should be unconectenad and the safe places organization Yellow Sign Should be Removed from near the front door. Personal story not expecting that GENERAL DELIVERY will service mail for transient new crowds.

  • Spencer Ryan

This USPS location is exceptional! We came to get our passports and Ebony was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us out. You can tell this store gets busy, they are downtown and it’s a huge location - yet they treat everyone who walks in there with care. I was very impressed.

  • Anthony Daka

Keep telling me my package was delivered when it wasn’t, talked to some one on the phone she continued to get an attitude with me when I told her the car part I shipped was priceless and discontinued. They don’t even want to give me a refund for my shipping cost

  • Predrag Jaric

  • Mark Thomas

I wish there were an option for 0 stars! Their Customer Service Hotline is very poor. They HAVE NO customer service! No way to talk to someone to ask a simple question other than waiting on the phone for over an hour. THEN? Getting disconnected!!!

  • Cheryl Crisp

The mail is never in the P.O. Boxes until after 5pm at the park fletcher office. I’ve asked for a supervisor and the female yells at me every time. Hopefully I won’t be punished for reporting mail not being in post office boxes in a timely

I stopped by to just ask about my delayed package (kind of expected during Covid). There was a lady (wish I asked her name) kindly spending time to explain to me where my package actually was and walking me through the process.

  • Anne Marie Weinkauf

The USPS is the best and the only place that connects us all to everyone else in the country and to the rest of the world. I support fully funding and fully supporting the USPS in its current or additional services.

  • Brad Manzenberger

A package is not actually delivered if you deliver it to the wrong address. Thanks for delivering my mail to some unknown location. You’d think after more than 200 years USPS would know how to deliver the mail.

  • sharon kunard

I go here often because they are so helpful. Never had poor service whether the lines were short or long. They answer any questions and recommend options. Patient with everyone I've witnessed as well.

  • Mary Sachtleben

The staff was rude and even yelled in front of everyone how they were late because of me. This provoked people to get angry at me when I was just there for paperwork. So unprofessional and rude.

  • Jennifer D'Hondt

Seriously?! They don't print labels and you have to pay $0.79 for 2! Every other post office prints the label for you!

Mail taken from box and scattered along street in our community. There seems to be no urgency in resolution.
