I would give it 4 or 5 stars for facilty and staff but the shower and change rooms brings it down terribly. Second time using this gym and different occasion quite far apart from each other yet on both occasions the showers are not working

Gym had a make over but still the worst Virgin Active in Cape Town. Last night 1 treadmill out of order. 2 lipticals. 1 stepper and 2 bicycles the list can go on. Bad smell of sweat neat area. The gym wont see me again not pleasant at all.

Update from 5 years ago, most machines are still broken and take literal months to get fixed. Same machines from 5 years ago. There are pigeons living in the gym. Hardly anyone greets. Don't come here. CW branch is like 10 min from here.

My personal trainer has made my visits more consistent and bearable. Some staff are super friendly and not judgy. They need to repair machines faster, especially when there's only one or two of that type of machine.

Good gym, but it could definitely improve. Very crowded spaces at certain times, not enough equipment, no generators to keep machines running during loadshedding.

The aircons and ventilation is terrible. This is a health risk. Do not come here. Staff are super friendly
