This is the worst Walgreens in America, I really can’t understand how 3 cars in the pharmacy line take hours on hours to get your medicine. It never fails, I mean every single time, how is that even possible? Like these people are clearly lazy, I’ve been to 24 hour Walgreens that have less people working with lines around the whole store move faster than this place. I wish I could share a picture on here to show you people how empty this place is. They told me come for 5, I got here at 6:30. After waiting 2 hours with two cars in front me I get to the window, they have the audacity to tell me to swing back around and get behind 5 more cars. I just can’t understand what they’re doing in this place, it should be a crime to make someone wait this long. They need to bulldoze this place down, it’s so worthless. My tank was on half, when I left my gas meter was damn near empty. Do yourself a favor and never come to this place
This location has the most INCOMPETENT pharmacy out of any pharmacy I've ever dealt with. It's sad, because it hasn't always been like this. It changed during COVID, and has never recovered. The workers at the pharmacy are either rude, or they're confused. The workers seem miserable, and they act as if they hate the customers. I was the only one in my household dumb enough to keep my prescriptions with this Walgreens. Instead of giving people their medications, they give issues and conflict. After today, I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy, because I truly had enough! These people really make you feel like you're bothering them whenever you stop by...they can keep the negativity, as well as the problems they have no idea how to solve. Corporate really needs to step in and revamp this location, because it's being run into the ground.
The entire staff is unprofessional. Stood at the desk for 10 minutes without acknowledgement. Chyna the pharmacist yelling over to the other employees about things that have nothing to do with work and when asked for assistance pointed to Amanda and stated “she right there…She’s gonna help you.” I shouldn’t have to wait for y’all to do whatever you’re doing. Then another rude associate comes up and say what’s the address. Again no acknowledgement… Who are you talking to because you were just talking to your coworker about irrelevant stuff and barge in like you not on your job. I think her is name Kiwine. It’s ridiculous that consumers have to deal with lack of courtesy and unprofessionalism when we’re spending our hard owned money to pay for these services. Funding your employment!
This is surprisingly decent and is neither surrounded by nor filled with sketchy people of any sort. There will not likely be a beggar or someone trying to sell you CDs of rap music you've never heard, employees are polite and sensible, and most are reasonably intelligent. You will not face long lines of squabbling people and it's easy to accomplish what you want or need. When you call them on the phone they actually answer. It almost starts to resemble what you might expect from a Walgreens in places like Wisconsin or Minnesota!
Usually I really like the service at Walgreen's but today it was mediocre. I was on hold for 20 minutes, transferred three different times, and then hung up on. On my second call I was notified that the pharmacist who would have to assist me was on lunch, and would be for the next 15 minutes. Had the first, or the second person I spoke to on my first attempt at calling told me that I wouldn't have waited for 20 minutes listening to their awful hold music. Tad bit frustrating since I still have to call back a third time.
Standard Walgreens. Friendly staff. Ample parking. They close at 10p; so get what ya need before then. Across the street from Gentilly Walmart, fighting the temptation of crossing the street maybe hard. Chase ATM located just inside the front doors, if you just need to get cash & go. Don't forget, if the front line is too long, try the photo or cosmetics counter to cash out.
I'm a student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, therefore it is my pharmacy of choice (directly across the campus) & I enjoy the easy going attitude of the staff and even more so the reliable stock of medicine and even more still the respect shown to me by the pharmacy techs and pharmacists alike. Thank you for your kind service.
Costumer service was horrible. I printed pictures and something was wrong with the machine. Manager did not want to work with me as a costumer. She sent an associate to "handle something no one can see." Still had to pay full price of photos.
I came to this Walgreens location at 10:13 pm on 01/31/2023 to purchase some over the counter NSAIDs however, I needed urgently as a pregnant woman to use the Restroom. Being in the later stages of pregnancy, the demand for restroom breaks
Great people! I live in Gentilly Woods and have been coming here for years. The people are friendly and courteous and go out of their way to please. I get my prescriptions and vaccinations here and wouldn't think about crossing the street.
I’ve gone here a few times and there’s the sweetest people that work in there who will talk to you like you are family. Love it❤️I always appreciate good customer service because these days it’s hard to come by.
This is honestly the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They are painfully slow and on several occasions, they have been unable to find my prescriptions.
Slowest pharmacy service ever. It’s a burden to take medicine let alone wait a ridiculous amount of time for it. Compared to other pharmacies this one sucks.
It's the Walgreens where I pick up my prescriptions and everyone is super. I love the people that work in pharmacy especially Dr Clay and Miss Amanda.
Horrible pharmacy workers, I waited for hours and still didn’t get my prescription filled..customer service is worst than McDonald’s ♀️ …
Waited in the shave needs aisle for over 10 minutes no one ever came after almost 7 announcements on the loud speaker
WORST PHARMACY EVER ONE WILL DIE WAITING ON THEY SLOW A**ES! BEWARE BE READY TO WAIT A LEAST A ADDITIONAL HOUR
The wait time for the pharmacy drive thru is horrible waited over 30 minutes in drive thru!!!!
They lose photos, will report back if found EDIT: They found my photos!!
