We stumbled across Warramunda Estate about a year ago now. It is now our whole families "go to" place in the Yarra Valley. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service is also impeccable. Robert, Irene, Liv and their staff are just really good humans and are always so lovely and welcoming. One part of me wants to keep it secret but a good thing should be shared! Do yourself a favour and take the trip up and spend a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon amongst the vines sipping on a glass of their exquisite wines. Peter, Fiona and Chloe Curran

Beautiful day, beautiful scenery..BUT unfortunately ruined by super rude staff..took us 1 hour drive to Warramunda winery, dad wants to buy few bottles to take home for tonight, arrived at door only asked by a unhappy face staff “how can I help you, you know this is a wine cellar and it’s for customers only” wow I replied: “we were going to buy some wines but thanks to you, we are not anymore…” She then gave us the biggest eyeball rolling … with a such beautiful winery this lady dose not go with the view, really a business unfortunate…. What she really mean is if you just looking, you are not welcome here… we know you are super busy and after covid short staff and people start lining up for restaurants, but these kind of staff is a business killer… Such unhappy rude staff shall never allowed to work hospitality.
The Warramunda Estate wine tasting is by far the best wine tasting I've ever experienced. The wines themselves are truly outstanding, but the tasting experience takes it to another level. Being a family run winery it’s quite likely that the person taking you through each wine and how it was made, is the person who actually made the wine, and whose name appears on the bottle! The descriptions and explanations are informative and delivered in a warm and friendly manner, and cheese and prosciutto are provided to match the appropriate wines during the tasting. We’ve taken friends and family to Warramunda numerous times, initially for the tasting, but then to enjoy one of the delicious and generous charcuterie, seafood or cheese platters and a bottle of their beautiful wine.
Book it now!!! Great wine, great food, great scenery and A+ customer service. Flew down from Sydney for Easter and this has been the single most memorable experience my friends and I have had. The wine tasting came with small food pairings (holy sht that Spanish manchego was divine) that elevate and differentiate this experience. Roberts passion is infectious and is on full display when he explains the context of each wine. We also went to a few of the larger wineries in the area and were consistently let down as they felt generic and lacked that little spark of passion. Will be back next season and will be buying/recommending for years to come. I have no photos unfortunately, forgot to take them as I was having such a good time.
“COME IN OR LEAVE!” Don’t be fooled by the positive “random” reviews left that are replying to the negative reviews. Little Miss I inherited a winery needs to have a good look at herself. Don’t you dare stop for a picture at admittedly their absolutely stunning driveway lined with gorgeous trees before entering the premises (there were no other customers coming or going at the time so nobody was being inconvenienced) or you’ll be given the rather aggressive ultimatum of entering or leaving instantly. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the dining experience as we chose the latter and decided that our hard earned was better off lining the pockets of business owners that appreciate their potential patrons.
Parked up with my family and we were going to take some photos with the beautiful autumn trees before going in for some lunch and to purchase some bottles of wine. Too bad, I was immediately harassed by a lady outside who called out to me and demanded what my business was there, that this was "private property" and that I had to pay ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a photo permit to take some photos, and was being extremely rude. Needless to say we will not be returning. There were plenty of other wineries in the area with a much better attitude and similar views. Please learn some basic customer service skills and please treat your future customers with even a slight amount of respect.
This is one of my happy places. The wine is delicious and of the best quality with no preservatives. I can attest to not having a hangover after drinking these wines, unlike some of the other larger winery offerings. And the food platters! Definately recommend having the wine with a platter. The portions are generous and hand picked for quality. I am a celebrant, and have given my clients bottles of wine from Warramunda Estate because of the quality and care that I know goes into every bottle. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The views are spectacular and it is the perfect venue to sit and relax after a stressful week. Definately Highly Recommended.
Absolutely delightful cellar door and vineyard! I've never been more impressed by a winery, their range of varietals is so impressive and their blends are delicious. I enjoyed every single wine and we each went away with a dozen amazing wines. We had a light lunch and were served an amazing spread of charcuterie, salads, breads - so scrumptious. You can tell that this place is family owned and close to their hearts, everything is carefully considered and cared for. We'll definitely be buying their wines for a while, and hoping to stop by next time we're in town!!
This was the friendliest and best wine tasting we had during our weekend in the Yarra Valley. Susie entertained us with stories of the original locals, brought out delicious cheese and prosciutto to have with the very good and amazing wines. We purchased several bottles and even stopped to take photos of the lovely driveway lined with autumn trees. Don't believe the bad reviews, these are obviously nasty rude people who may have trespassed on neighbouring private property. Loved Warramunda and Susie is a treasure!!!
Absolutely beautiful winery with amazing staff, wines, and cheese! Viewing the past few reviews are pretty disappointing to see the lack of empathy given to the establishment and calling out staff (taking images too) for not being able to accommodate groups on an Easter weekend... it’s pretty straight forward to call and ask if there’s availabilities when it’s a public holiday (I work in the hospitality industry). The experience has always been top tier and highly recommended it!
We had such a great experience. The wine tasting and learning experience behind how each wine was made was appreciated, as well as the grazing table of food was tremendous. We are coming back in Dec 17 as we were very impressed.

Had an amazing tasting experience and then arranged a gift package with wine and glasses to be sent for my daughters birthday. The parcel arrived on time and was absolutely beautifully presented! The care and thought that was put into presenting this gift was amazing! I cannot rate our whole experience highly enough- from the wonderful tasting experience (and yes, I bought wine!) to the gift purchase. What a fantastic find this winery was. Thank you so much!!!
My all-time favourite winery at Yarra Valley. I wouldn’t say that they have the absolute best wines, but what they do have is the best wine tasting experience! The owners are such lovely people who take the time to explain the wine making process and you can see the love put into making each and every bottle of wine. They are also super generous and very passionate and personal people. I make it a point to visit this place everytime I go to Yarra Valley.
We love the Yarra Valley, but try to avoid the crowds and the 'rush', so we loved a relaxing couple of hours of excellent wine and food here at Warramunda. Would highly recommend to those who love their food and wine.

Incredible little family winery. Amazing wine tasting experience. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Even when faced with some very nasty people on Easter Saturday, these people didn’t have a booking and seemed more interested in taking photos of the trees and blocking the driveway. Horrible behaviour. Do your self a favour and visit here it’s fabulous. And to the lovely staff keep up the awesome job.
We and our guests have been priviledged to visit Warramunda over many years for both wine tasting and food. It is always a quality experience. The friendliness, passion and knowledge of all the staff, the premium calibre of both the wine and the food make Warramunda a must inclusion when visting the Yarra Valley. Robert was a most delightful host and someone who conveys such an authentic passion for wine and winemaking with every bottle opened. Scaling the context to the audience, the experience is tailored to appreciating wine at the beginning of an enticing journey yet it's clear that he's also ready to debate at length the nuances of process or varietal subtlety with any somelier worth their salt.
Not only do Warramunda Estate create fantastic wines through their Estate, Compass and Liv Zak labels, Rob, Irene, Liv and Suzy make you feel like they have welcomed you into the Warramunda family when you visit. A gem of the Yarra Valley, a must visit if you enjoy wine and food that is made with love!

What a fantastic & friendly winery out in the beautiful hills of the Yarra Valley. The owners had such a passion for the wine & were extremely knowledgeable. The cheese board was stunning as were the wines. One of the best family winerys in the valley! Will will be back again for another afternoon with more friends soon and will enjoy the few bottles we came home with.
They were lovely, provided a fantastic service for our dietary requirements and provided great information about the history of their wines and their process

With so many wineries in the yarra valley I am so glad we chose this family run estate. The wines were beautiful, but the best part is the knowledge the owners share, you can tell they really care about the quality of their wines. Didn't have any platters as we arrived a little late but they looked delicious. We will be back for sure!
Best wine tasting experience I've had. It is refreshing to see the passion that Liv, Irene and Robert have for their wines. Followed up with stunning scenery in the heart of the Yarra Valley. An overall lovely experience, look forward to coming back next time we are in the area. Would highly recommend the Liv Zac sparkling rose 2020!
Amazing food and wine! You gotta try the new winter food menu at Warramunda! Amazing soup, Ruben sandwiches and brisket platters paired with their amazing red wines… perfect on a cold winter’s day! Friendly staff and beautiful views across the Yarra Valley. And great day out with friends. Will definitely come back!
We had a wine tasting with Susie and she was so lovely. Our biggest disappointment was that we didn’t buy the sparkling wine as well - it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back for another bottle. Susie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We took photos along the gorgeous driveway after our tasting.
Discovered here on the drive to Marysville. Incredible views & venue. Very friendly owner and was served by Suzzie. Absolutely enjoyed the 6 wine tasting package and the stories. Their sparkling rosé is just delightful. A must visit when you're nearby.

Incredible selection of wines and the service was second to none. Staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Paired the wine tasting with complimentary nibbles. Beautiful setting too, could have stayed here for hours learning about their wine making and soaking up the views.
Me and my partner left here very full of delicious cheese, nibbles and spectacular wine. To top it off we had an amazing experience with the history of this wine and that enthusiastically presented by two knowledgeable staff members. Thanks for looking after us
Fantastic small winery. Well worth the visit. We were served by Robert who provided in depth explanations of each bottle in an unhurried and friendly way. We enjoyed the hospitality and learnt a lot about the care that went into making each wine.
Amazing wine, great food, lovely and informative staff/owners, couldn’t ask for a better experience. Many thanks!

If I could rate this place with zero stars, I absolutely would. Our experience here was terrible due to the unfriendly middle-aged lady who works here. I wouldn't recommend this place, as their bad attitude can really put a damper on your day!
WoW What a pleasant Surprise as I always drive past this Vineyard but today just as I past I reversed back & turned in to Warrwandee Vineyard & as soon as we parked the car the owner walked up towards us to see if we had a booking & with a
Our first winery we visited on our tour and BY FAR the best! Exceptional friendly service from staff who were passionate about what they do and serving others. We learnt so much in such a short amount of time, everyone wine we tasted was
One of my "happy places", Warramunda is the perfect spot for a weekend visit, with stunning vistas to soak up alongside a tasting of their gorgeous wines and a grazing plate. A friendly family business, happy to share the inside story on
Let me just say - Robert, Irene, Liv and their staff put so much love and caring into all that they do - and the wines show it. ALL the wines are amazing. Clean, natural, so tasty...how could you just pick one. This is an amazing place.
By far one of the best tastings we have ever had. We had a wine tasting with the winemaker herself who had incredible knowledge of all the wines and wine regions around the world. Was lovely to be able to pair the wines with some cheese
Wonderful, relaxing venue serving up delicious food and of course wine. Family team, dedicated to delivering hospitality at its finest.

Very nice experience with wine tasting here. Feel welcomed, nice environment and atmosphere. The owner is very generous with the portion of the wine, and also gives us details about each wine. Definitely would come back!!!
Such a beautiful place. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable. We got complimentary nibbles with our tasting, which went well with the wines served. The atmosphere is tranquil and the scenery was absolutely beautiful.
Best wine tasting experience I've had. You can see and feel the passion Liv and Suzie have for their wines and that makes the experience that much better! Will definitely come back next time we're in the area ❤️
Superb friendly, Susie taught us how they went the extra miles to brew the wines. And the food is good, very well priced too. Best of all, not crowded, one of the best kept secret of Victoria's winery.
Beautiful winery with amazing wine!! Very knowledgable and happy to take the time to explain and take you through their wine. Great customer service and delicious food, will definitely visit again
Beautiful views, great wine and some lovely light bites to enhance the experience. The perfect place to sit down, relax and enjoy looking out over the vines while being guided through the wines.
Delicious wines (especially the Viognier) and wonderful staff. Such a fantastic weekend. Thank you for the delicious lunch as well!

It was an absolute pleasure tasting the wine, Robert is highly passionate and knowledgeable about his product. We would recommend stopping there for a great lunch too!
Great winery with some amazing cheeses! You have to do the wine tasting as the owners really know there stuff. Great service and family run. Defo worth a visit!
We had a wonderful tasting hosted by Robert. He truly is a master of his craft, and so generous with his knowledge and learnings.
Perfect place and time to enjoy the tranquil scenery of the vineyard and the most breathtaking vision of Melbourne autumn leaves.
Delicious wine and food, and the owners deliver such an insightful, engaging experience when taking you through a tasting.
