I can say unreservedly that the care I have gotten from Dr Harpreet Singh Dr Takker Dr Narah & Dr Barton has been the best the care taken is superb. I have been a patient of Dr Singh’s for more than 20 years he looked after my kids when they were young and the same is felt by them. I have been treated very well by the reception staff over the years Gale is especially loved by us I do not really know the newer staff especially since Covid hit & consults were on the phone & then video. I am certain that they are excellent as well. The nurses have looked after me very well as well there have been once or twice when I have come in unable to breathe properly & the care with a place to just lay down meant the world to me. Having pathology back in the building is great and my favourite Podiatrist is there as well. My rheumatoid specialist is there as well what more could I ask for I hope no more. If I could give a zero star, I wouldn't hesitate! Dr Shinta Tjandra has the worst attitude I've ever seen in any GP. I really doubted her professionalism and can’t understand why she could not show any empathy to her patient who relied on her. When I answered her questions, she always interrupted me very rudely and said, "No!" . Apart from this, she was very impatient and spoke to me in a very rude tone throughout the consultation. When I tried to confirm something she said, she replied in a very impatient manner, "Didn't you hear anything I just said?" I really can't understand why this doctor would be soooo rude to me? Also, she said in her profile that she spoke Mandarin, which was one of the main reasons I went to see her. However, her Mandarin was really terrible that it was almost incomprehensible. If anybody wanna see her because she could speak mandarin, trust me, she CANNOT! Terrible experience and would never go to this GP!!!!!

May 2023. I have my GP I usually see here, but continue to think highly of all the doctors I have seen in this clinic. July 2021 I continue to attend this clinic. I continue to be very happy with the knowledge, care and professionalism of the doctors and staff who work here. ( Previous review) I have been attending this clinic for several years, and am always made to feel welcome . Even if the receptionists are very busy, they are always friendly, pleasant, patient and polite, whether on the phone or face to face. I am really happy with the care and knowledge provided by my GP here. If for some reason I have needed to see a different doctor at the clinic, I have found the same care and professionalism as provided by my regular doctor. Many services available at this clinic. Highly recommend it!

Dr. Jan Parker has been my GP for the past 20 years and can not recommend her highly enough, with her very caring nature and absolute professionalism. However, as she was away on leave this week I booked in with Dr. Wend Barton, she was absolutely amazing, a very caring and compassionate nature and equally professional demeanor, she showed a genuine interest even though I wasn't her regular patient. I have also seen other practitioners here in the past in Dr. Parker's absence and all have been wonderful. Waverly General Practice is a private practice and if you don't have a concession card you will be out of pocket for the consultation after the Medicare rebate, however, the quality, care and services these GP's and practice provides is second to none and worthy of the cost.

I paid $140 dollars for less than 10 minutes consultation and had one of the worst experience. Though polite, the doctor had to look up the symptom and treatment, in front of me. He gave me some prescription for my ear infection, which was said by the pharmacist "only used for hair, but not ears". I chose to trust the doctor. And it gave me incredible pain, like someone punched very hard on my ear drum. I called the clinic and was informed that if I wanted to a follow up from the doctor, I had to pay for his phone call. I do not understand why I had to pay so the doctor can fix his own mistake. It was confirmed later by another GP that the medicine prescribed to me was not the correct one. My appointment was at 12Pm on 26th Feb if you wanted to check if I was genuine.

We always see Dr. Raghav Nara. He has treated me and my young boys for all their problems. Recently we visited him for a very concerning issue regarding my 10 month old baby . He was prompt and precise and reassured us not to worry. He is very dedicated and compassionate and helped us all through getting pathology results quickly as the lab had been slack even though the issue was very concerning . I will recommend him 100% for anyone regarding any medical issues especially he is great with kids . He understands parent anxiety and makes sure to do his exam and consult in detail with no rush. If you are looking for a family GP he may be the one. We will go no where else but see him for any medical problems. Thank you waverley GP we found our family GP

Have been a patient of Dr. Wendy Barton for many years which leads me to say whenever I have been unable to see her but need to see a Dr. I have never been disappointed with any of the Drs. in the Clinic. They are all amazing and I have every confidence in seeing any of them if the need arises. (Cannot comment on the newer Drs. I haven't seen) Nurses have also been excellent. I also love that the Clinic gives me quick access to Pathology if needed. My only disappointment has been the Receptionists at present not being as friendly and welcoming as in the past. This could be in part owing to the Covid restrictions of the last couple of years so I reserve judgement on that issue. Overall I remain a very happy patient of the Clinic.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Dr. Shinta Tjandra performed her duties excellently, and I was touched by the way she treated me. I haven't had good experiences with past doctors, but I am now a happy patient with great results. Sometimes I can be slow in processing new information, but she was very patient with me and explained everything in detail. She even printed out notes for me. Additionally, she stayed late to work on issues that I have been dealing with for the past 20 years. Thank you for your time and dedication, Dr. Tjandra! Overall, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable doctor.

The doctors just see you as a dollar sign. I first saw Fiona Lai who suggested I increase my antidepressant dosage with literally no indication from me about needing to (completely unethical and just a bandaid solution). I went back two more times to see a different GP, Shinta Tjandra, who seemed alright on my first visit but then on the second visit, said she was running behind schedule and wouldn't be able to do the examination that I had booked that specific appointment for and STILL charged me. Save your money for an empathetic GP who actually cares.

Waited for over an hour with my 11 month old baby to see the GP for a short time. It is stressful enough as a mum taking a fussy baby to see the GP. But to endlessly wait with no courtesy warnings that the GP is running extremely late, made things much worse! At the one hour mark, I had to go up to the receptionist to ask how much longer it will take. It was stressful the whole time and I left feeling flustered with an unhappy crying baby. Disappointed at the lack of consideration for the patients time and circumstances with a baby in the waiting room.

Very bad experience!It is strongly not recommended ，Very unprofessional stuff，Yesterday I took my wife to see the back pain. After the end, I went to the reception to check out. The receptionist told us free to go.which is Unbelievable, today the receptionist called us to ask for an account and charged us more than 100 consultation fees. The only reason for us was that they were a private hospital.Without any apologies for the mistakes in their work from beginning to the end . Kind reminder,Watch your wallet. Even if you have medicare card！

Judith ticks every box for what is required when you are seeking medical or mental health assistance. . Brilliant at her trade she is also extremely personable, quick witted and has an appealing sense of humour. A patient listener she always takes all the time you need. Having been in the area for many years she has a wide knowledge of the best specialists and surgeons if required. The rest of her team come highly recommended and the admin staff always display patience and understanding. An outstanding credit to the community!

I have been coming to this clinic for over 15 years now and the service, care and treatment has been professional and very, very good. As you would expect in a busy clinic, the Reception staff have always got plenty going on but they always attend to you speedily and courteously. Over the 6 months of this current COVID crisis, they have been exceptional! Standards have never slipped and they have always been helpful and the doctors have gone out of their way to provide safe service. Well done guys!!!!

I have been a patient of Waverley General Practice for more than 20 years, including at their two previous addresses. I have referred friends and family who want the old fashioned relationship with a GP that has disappeared from a lot of clinics. I have always been treated respectfully and professionally, and with much kindness when I have needed it. Even when I moved away from Glen Waverley, I still attend Waverley General Practice. Cannot recommend the Practice highly enough.

Friendly receptionists welcome you and the new area upstairs is roomy and quiet. Over a number of years both myself and my husband have attended this practice. The doctors we see are extremely professional and caring. As well as the general consultations, for me personally, I look to my GP for explanations, reassurance and guidance when dealing with more difficult health issues. When necessary, they do not hesitate to seek further opinions. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

I started with this practice many years ago now, and I don't imagine I'll ever leave. "My" GP is a superstar. But whenever they are away I know that I will get an equally good Doctor to see me. Reception are lovely. I also use the skin check service. Things are so good that I am more than happy to pay some out of pocket after Medicare. Travel from many suburbs away is also well worth the effort.

Dr. Barton has been my Doctor for 20 years but 13 years ago I moved to Western suburbs, so just came to her for “ more important ailments”. Recently I have felt the need to have my own Doctor again and returned to Waverley Medical. Today with Dr. Barton, I felt heard for the first time in years. She is such a compassionate Doctor, and I feel like I’ve gone home. Highly recommend this practice.

We have been attending Waverley General Practice for many years, having followed our Doctor to the new clinic he established, which has grown to the successful medical centre it is today. We have always received excellent medical attention and advice, whilst also accessing other services which are offered at the clinic. The Admin staff and the Nurses on duty, are always pleasant and helpful.

What I have learnt, is That it is not a problem to wait, especially as the personal treatment that I’ve gotten of the years has been nothing but exemplary. I used to Wonder why the doctor took so long. Well, I found out why When I was in the position where I needed her time. The staff are all incredibly polite, courteous and helpful…. I think I struck a great surgery. 30 years plus now …

Whilst we had to wait quite a while after out appointment, it was worth the wait (previous patient should have booked a double appt. but did not realise it would take longer). Dr. Riseley is so thorough and caring we would not go anywhere else. She is so professional and spot on that we trust her judgement 100%. And she is a lovely non-judgemental doctor to boot

Staff were very helpful and friendly and the doctor providing the Covid booster was very thorough. The procedure itself was painless and everything was explained to me before hand. I would highly recommend the practice for anyone requiring a covid booster, and if the rest of the doctors are anything like the doctor I had, then you should be in great hands

Our family have been coming here since we first moved into Glen Waverley 8 years ago. Doctors and nurses are very caring and professional. Recently did a couple of physio sessions with Jane Lee and it was great. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Her sessions were very personalised and she understood my needs. Definitely highly recommended.

Disappointed with how Dr Fiona communicated with patient. 25/09 The clinic manager called me to discuss the my previous review. And obviously they just didn't like my review. And refuse to take any feed back. However this doesn't cover the truth that I was scared to do my pathology test due to my horrible experience with Dr Fiona.

The medical care by the doctors and nurses is first class. The current admin needs significant improvement. The charges for the services I received and the associated Medicare rebate for each service was not clear. Admin at this clinic is starting to treat people as customers rather than patients. I will not be going back.

Doctor Ina Takkar is very competent and careful. However, punctuality is definitely is not her strength. What if I show up for my appointment 50 minutes late which is how much I have to wait to see her past the scheduled appointment time. Would she still see me??? This is a constant and not a one off unfortunately.

I regularly see Dr Banerjee, who is always incredibly thorough and helpful with any and all medical issues and queries I may have. The reception staff are also wonderful and helpful. I continue to come to Waverley GP even though I have moved to the west because it’s the best general practice I’ve ever attended.

I visited Dr. Banrjee for my first pregnancy and now for the second. They are so patient and professional at the same time. The front desk staff is so helpful. I have gone to other GPs but the service they provide and how thorough they are is amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about this practice.

Booked an appointment, made a great deal of effort to be on time and they had booked it for an hour later. I tried to explain that this was not right however the reception staff were so rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I would rather use Google doctor that waste time going here again. So Rude!

A great medical practice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been a patient for over 10 years. They go beyond to look after you and provide the highest standard of care. My doctor, Dr Judith Riseley takes time with you, is very thorough and cares about her patients.

Dr Shinta is a wonderful GP, she works hard, is diligent and provides a high level of care, the clinic is lucky to have her and her patients are fortunate to have a GP like her. Her work has significantly improved my health, which I am forever grateful for.

As a first time patient, my concerns were handled with care and professionalism. It was lovely to be treated by Dr Tjandra. Front desk staff were all courteous and patient. The ability to book online with this practice made it so much easier.

Excellent COVID disciplines, friendly greeting on checkin, prompt and timely appointment, with fantastic medical staff. The doctor was extremely understanding and exceeded expectations. Very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend.

Carol and I received our 5th covid vacs shot yesterday. There was no wait and the appointment was spot on time. The nurse was friendly, efficient and professional, advising us of side effect symptoms to watch out for.

Doctor fantastic as always. Amenities ok. Reception staff ok. Access to and from carpark and lack of parking, difficult and tight to negotiate. No safe drop off point for disabled or mobility compromised patients.
