Whitewebbs museum of transport is wonderful. Their collection is astounding. The museum consists of 4 floors. There is a lift, however it goes only 1 floor up, so if you have reduced mobility you’ll struggle with the stairs. The staff are are great, friendly and knowledgeable. If you have any queries they’ll be happy to answer any questions about exhibits. On the top floor you’ll find collection of miniature cars, 2nd floor are cycles, 1st are motorcycles, ground floor and yard are real vehicles. At the museum you’ll find some rear vehicles that will get you excited with. I’d love to say more but you have to come to see it for yourself. The museum is only open on Tuesday. So plan your day of visit carefully. I’d say it is a hidden treasure that is needed to be seen.

This is a wonderful museum that's off the beaten path and absolutely worth a visit when open. Several floors of the pumping station are chock-full of old cars, motorcycles, toys and who knows what else. The place is an absolute labour of love. Even more than that there are sheds outside, further vehicles, blueprints, diagrams and more than you can take in. It's a great place to come with your kids and the volunteers are just so nice and enthusiastic. You can even get a bite to eat and a cup of tea. A hidden gem.

The website says 'hidden gem' and they're not lying! What an absolute treat of a day out! Our 2 year old loved it and we did too. Something for all the family and nearly every type of vehicle lover - bicycles, motorbikes, cars, buses, fire engines and model railways. You could really feel the love and enthusiasm from every volunteer! Too much to describe here but if you're not sure, please go and support them. Your visit will be worth every penny!

More than a transport museum. Housed in an old water pumping station where you can still the well that was built to source the water. Other exhibits are varied, sewing machines, cameras, typewriters, wheelchairs, and a ww2 area. Open every Tuesday and last Sunday in the month.

This place is a hidden gem. Plenty to see, very helpful staff who are more than willing to explain the exhibits. If you like old cars, motorbikes and model railways then this is the place. I need to make a return visit, one day is not long enough. Good for all ages.

An excellent day out for all the family. Not the usual boring dusty museum with everything behind glass - plenty for kids to get interactive with!

Very interesting museum showing a bygone era of transport. Special credit to all the volunteers who repair and maintain the exhibits, and give the informative talks to the visitors. Great for kids as well. Highly recommended!
