Be very careful when buying a car from Wholesale used cars 176A Parramatta Rd, Granville NSW 2142. On seeing the car we paid a deposit and we asked about the warranty. In which the owner ( dad) said we could have either a one year at $150 or a three year warranty at $350. So all was good.? One week later we went to collect the car and pay the rest. Then his son, said their warranty insurance wouldn’t insurance a car as it was over 10 years old or over 160,000 km. I saw this in writing from the warranty company. As the car was 11 years old, I should have then said, that I don’t wish to proceed to purchase the car. On driving home all was good, however the following morning my son ( first car) notice it wouldn’t car? I then noticed this wholesale dealer only had 1.2 stars. I should have spotted this his before. I called them up and they said that they would give me a battery however that wasn’t the only problem . I brought a new battery direct from battery World to be safe as I didn’t wish to return back to them. Whlist my son was driving a day later , car completely cut out on the A2 main road. I then had to then save him as he had broken down in a busy area. I then charged his car up again. Then 20 minutes later the car cut out again. I then repeated the process as my son and I was only five minutes from home. I then called an independent car mechanic, you informed me that the car was shorting and draining the battery. It would appear the off side back door wasn’t working. So I took it to a Vw garage to check the complete car. This is when we found out that Wholesale car saler had sold my son a faulty car. I called them and left a message and yet to hear from them back. Long story short, electric issues at $1165, coolant issues, $1245, electric issue , air con issues at $495 however they did say the aircon needed to be regassed and they gave us a $150 off the final payment, plus the door to be fixed costed $510. The car is now with the VW garage which means my son ( first car) is not available for one and half weeks. No wonder car dealers have a bad name with dealers like this. I will be now writing to the ombudsman regarding this. Don’t buy off them if you wish to be safe!

I bought my car $5000 with added 3months rego 3months warranty or 5000km on arriving home from the caryard the onboard computer listed engine oil issue when i stated the issue they told me not to worry its nothing that its save to drive its not dangerous less then a month later my car was leaking oil leaking coolant and hole in the exhaust it overheated and died while on my way home it ended up for warranty repairs its now 4 weeks and still i dont have a car all this car yard does is make excuses and blame game they dont take responsibimity for anything i dont trust this car yard and im still fighting to get my car or money back rego is due but they have the car iv lost my job because of the car how can i pay for rego with no income . to them its business as usual but for me its suck it up when rhey have enough of complaints they cut you off . Have everything in writting dont take their word for it. They give you runaround so that the warranty rego and milage runs out so they are then not responsible . The worst car dealers, kindly please don't at all trust them, bought one ford laser long back. Mentioned the car is in excellent condition. After 9 days car broke down smoke started coming from engine and it costed me 600$ to fix when i went back they told in a very rude way that they are not responsible, and they gave me some insurance and that company is really bogus none of the people will respond. Later after 5 weeks one more big issue, when went to mechanic he told it will cost me 1400$ which is really not worthy and they can't assure if i get more repairs in future. Kindly, be patience try with private dealers in gum tree or carsales. Please don't at all trust this dealers, they are totally cheaters. If u still want to buy take a mechanic and request him to check the condition .

Look i will be honest, i did not trust half the staff in there but i spoke with the owner directly, i got a Holden commodore VE. From here for an absolute steal, although the people who clean the cars do a shocking job and the eftpos issues had terminals. The service i got wasn't bad. The car was in decent condition however i drove just over an hour to get there to buy a car with almost no petrol in it. I did also have to replace the idle pulley and replace the drivers front seat. But i picked it up for under 4000. Wouldn't recommend going there if you don't have much knowledge on the car you're buying but you should do your reasearch on the car before you buy it or atleast take a machanic with you.

No the car was a lemon and over priced I bought a holden astra 2001 for 2,000 for my job and it had nothing but problems. They said to me while being sold to me was that the car will not give you any problems. I was a newbie and didnt know much about cars at that time. They may have helped me in fixing the initial stuff but everytime i took it a mechanic for a problem it was 200$ for this 300$ for that and in the end the car just died. My advice is that purchase car privately you will save alot of money and if you really have to purchase from a dealer take my advice Purchase from a wellknown dealers like ozcar sutton or phil gillbert you may pay extra than private but they wont screw you.

This dealer sold my partner a car that was unroadworthy and unsafe to drive and needed thousands of dollars of repairs. They then claimed the car was sold privately to absolve them from any responsibility. We are currently proceeding with legal action having hired a lawyer and applied to NCAT as this car was not cheap. 176A Parramatta Road Granville NSW 2142 EDIT: prior to NCAT my partner reached an agreement with the dealer where they agreed to buy the car back for almost what she paid for it. Still an overall negative experience but they were reasonable when negotiating a settlement and came to agreement that both were happy with.

I wasn't smart enough to read the review before to go to this dealers. We loose our deposit (but I will pursuit them) since next day after a discussion over the phone with the owner we decided do not buy the car. He was aggressive, unprofessional, he didn't want to have the car checked from an outsider. 'This is how it works in Australia. You are making me waisting time' were the owner last word before to close the connection. This business need to be closed .. They make easy money using you. We feel abused. And yes is you in Gransville!

I waited for 6 months to run a car that I bought from these guys. Ford Escape 2004, 2.3l, I bought it in February. The car is absolutely amazing. My mechanic says he never saw a car to be in such good condition for its age. I really appreciate how guys in this Wholesale used cars treat their product. I got my car for very low price, and I totally thank the gentleman who sold it to me.

Went for selling my car and the way the dealer responded for it is too awkward. Just seeing the exterior look of the car , the quality of the car is being judged. Never go to any of the “cash 4 cars” dealers as they are fully focused only on the external appearance of the car without considering the conditions of the mechanical parts. Highly NOT recommended.

Bought a 2007 BMW 320i about 4 weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble since. Was told tyres were run-flats, when they were not. Transmission needed an overhaul, sparkplugs were faulty and aircon didn’t work even when I’d asked about it on the test drive and was told it did. I should’ve known when he stressed ‘that there was no warranty’ on the sale..
