"Very Disappointed to this car park yesterday"

"Perfectly okay city parking, nice and cheap over night parking"
I often park at Wilson across Melbourne but this car park experience was very disappointing. The lift was not operating when we left so forced to use the stairs (from level 5 which is fine for most but not all - tiny stairs and lots of them) and it's so tight to drive up there with even a small car so be careful... When we returned the lift still wasn't working and no notice to say this either, clearly not monitored or maintained. I am so worried for future visitors who are not physically able to use stairs and the limited space driving within the car park would be useless for wheelchairs, walkers etc. I hope the lift is fixed ASAP and that this does not impact many others.
This garage is NOT wheelchair accessible despite there being a lift. It functions well as an over priced car park. We didn’t get stuck in the elevator so it had that going for it. If you have mobility problems avoid this one if possible. The ground street entrance to the elevator is not wheelchair accessible as there is a step. In addition, once you step up onto the ledge that takes you to the street, there is no ramp to get off it and you have to step down again. What is somewhat infuriating is that there are simple things they could do to mitigate this such as adding a small ramp to the ground floor elevator vestibule.
Very Disappointed to this car park yesterday. I booked online for $18 full day parking. At the end of the day when I was living the car park I taped the same card that I booked through and they charged me $70 for whole day which is ridiculous. I had to call them and explain everything, the lady answered me: i open the gate for you now but next time be careful and I'm like, what you mean by careful? I already paid $18 online and now you want me to pay another $70? SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS THING OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE REQUIRED TO PAY $70 FOR DAY EVENTHOUGH YOU'VE BOOKED ONLINE FOR $18.
We pre-booked but somebody (not me) didn't follow the instructions in the heat of the moment as we arrived at the car park. We ended up not scanning to get in and instead pressed the button! On exiting, however, we found a lovely helpful chap in the office who opened the gate for us (after showing him our confirmation). We are so used to things being difficult but this man was so friendly and didn't make us feel like the idiots we probably were. Shout out to the guy on Saturday night around 9pm for awesome service!
Perfectly okay city parking, nice and cheap over night parking. Located right near China Town, and not too far from the theatre area. Parking spaces are a bit difficult to get in to as the "road" isn't particularly wide, but it's definitely better than some other nearby places, and the layout is well designed to avoid interactions with other vehicles.
This car park was barely satisfactory. There is no lift, so you need to heft your luggage up and down the stairs, and those stairs are revoltingly filthy and reek of urine. It was also extremely tight for room on the turns for my Prado, and you would likely struggle in a larger 4WD vehicle. I wouldn't use this carpark again
The lift is broken, we had to walk down from level 7, going to level 8 isn't for the faint harted, a car crashed trying to navigate a stupidly tight ramp and hit the wall, I have a truck licence and it was a challenge in a dual cab 4wd,Possibly the worst carpark in melbourne. I would recommend you go park somewhere else.
The lift is not working, my old parents had to climb the stairs to the 4th floor. It says $17 flat rate but ended up paying for $70. Have to drive very careful inside, very tight driveway inside. Had problem exiting the carpark, and had to call someone to let me out. AVOID THIS CAR PARK
I've been a Wilson Parking customer for a number of years now, the convenience of pre booking parking in the city and having a key card for entry and exit is excellent. This location is right in the heart of the CBD, walking distance to the best of what Melbourne has to offer.
Corner of china town gate .. prime location , goody area, shopping area. Building just made for parking same gate in and out no confusion. Multi story building .. so people with bad knees wait driver in ground floor.. lift normally not operational.. have to use stairs!!
Great location but fairly tight to navigate and park. Even for medium sized cars but can fit larger if confident in navigating tight areas and under 2m high. Some parking spots can only fit Sedans. weekend/night Flat right is decent, otherwise go online booking.
Public holiday - Queen’s birthday Monday 14th - Wilson parking at 180 Russell St has a sign “Public Holiday $10 flat rate” When we went to pay the ticket we were charged $13, so were many unhappy customers at the ticketing machine. What a dishonest practice!!!!
Absolute scammers. Drive in for early bird and then lob you with a $70 fee because it’s only online now. Only reason they would put it as only online is to catch out people and scam them when they try to leave. Never coming back
no lift, no stairs, no indication, need to walk all the way with car in the shared zone from top to bottom and way back, super dangerous. worst experience. said $16 outside for night rate, but machine showed $22 at exit.
Carpark is not so well maintained. Water dripping and stairs toll sleepery. Don’t know why their Lift always out of order. Lift inside, too filthy to touch the lift button. My only corncern is regarding cleaning only
Don't park here. I was trapped in the elevator on a recent visit, it arrived at the top and kept banging into the roof, very concerning! If you do have to park here don't use the elevator.
Worst layout I've ever seen. The lift is almost always broken, with no adequate stairwell or wheelchair alternatives. On top of that it's disgustingly overpriced. Park elsewhere.
Central location - walking distance to many places of interest. Reasonable price with Mecure Welcome Melbourne Hotel affiliation. Disappointing the lift was out of order.
What a rip off! Drive through during early bird time but got charged $70 instead of early bird rate, worst parking ever used, will never use wilson parking again.
It’s one of the cheaper ones if you book online. Extremely tight to drive around even with a normal sized car. If you have a large car I’d avoid it completely.
It's fine. Great location. People seem to speed through so keep an eye out when you're driving through. Lift smells overwhelmingly like Lynx body spray.
The tightest car park I have ever been in. If you're not confident with really tight turnd around walls of concrete, don't choose this car park.
A bit expensive but not as much as others... could not find any lift and the stairs are a bit steep for persons over 70 with knee arthritis...
Tight entry, exit and drive way all up and down, really have to drive slow and careful, don't know at whom cost if scratch or hit somewhere,
Pathetic car park with a dangerous lift and with a more than pathetic customer service. Secure car parks are a way better option in the CBD.
Be careful when you reverse park in the lower level. I just had my back window crushed because I did not know the ceiling was so low!
Very narrow turning space, tiny car spaces, lift was broken so had to lug out gear 4 levels, water pissing down in the stair case.
Great location to park in the city and price was cheap. Saved catching public transport. Easy to pre-book online. Will use again.
You need more obvious signs for bulkhead!!! Look at glass shards on the floor you can tell how many cars smashed rear window.
parked on 7th Storey with my family. I have a two year old and the elevator wasn't working not happy could have had a sign
By a long margin the worst car park I have ever been in. Unbelievably tight turns and the lifts weren’t working.
I would be good if you could "book a bay" online. Also more signs for lift location on levels would be helpful.
Worst experience ever. The lift is out of service. How desperate it is for a mum with a pram parked on level 5
Good location. Narrow space and paths. Over charged - charged $22 when listing price is $16 on weekend rate.
Convienetly located but very narrow carpark. Generally parking is available. Rates slightly on the high end.
A genuinely awful carpark. Limited accessibility, broken lifts. So difficult to navigate. Big cars beware.
Very dirty - elevator out of service for years! Charge us less if you have the Carpark in these conditions
One of the worst car park in Melbourne. If you wanted to destroy ur beloved car, please park ur car here.
Did the job. The lift does not work, so be ready for stairs. I had a discount rate from my hotel.
A poky odd building which is easy to get lost in. No repairs for the lift over at least 6 months
There are two Wilson parkings adjacent to each other which can be confusing for customers.
Lift often out of order. Smells of urine in certain places. Very narrow.
freaking lift has been broken for a month and its a 8 level car park!
Very poor customer service! Careful when you got broken down vehicle
Limited parking during peak even you book so don’t even try!
Just an average multilevel car park. Very tight in places
Avoid. This car park is for bicycles, not for vehicle
Terrible parking. Again, lift is not working.
Stung by high fees due to a small error
This is a car park. Works as advertised
They will scam you don’t park here
Lifts currently not working 03/23
worst car park in melbourne.
Easy to park good price.
