This is our go to local Chinese restaurant and it is such an honour to have a Chinese restaurant that lives up to the hype that you tell your friends. We are regular attendees and it is now common practice for us to overorder our food because when you have food this good, there is no point only enjoying it once right?! Local recommendations to tantalise your tastebuds: chicken with spicy chilli salt and garlic prawns. Both my family and I haven't been able to find either of these dishes to anywhere near the same quality anywhere.

If you are after a blast from the past nostalgic Aussie Chinese restaurant experience - this is the place for you! The decor is a cross between an early 1900s chinese palace and a wild west saloon! The lunch specials are good value although one portion was significantly smaller than the other. Not sure about the pineapple chunks in the Satay Beef! But thats part of the old school charm. Very efficient lone waiter on at busy lunchtime service. The must do is the Golden Gaytime Fried Ice Cream with caramel sauce! OMG. Divine.

If I could give NO stars I would. The outside of this place definitely continues to within this place. We had a booking for 6:30 Take the staff 45 minutes to place our order!!!!!! Our first meals came out at 7:45! The food extremely bland and definitely has been microwaved! Our mains came out at 8:30. To say this was just so disappointing is an understatement. McDonald’s is better I can assure you or just simply starve. Never will We ever return to this embarrassment of a restaurant.

I always love getting delicious Chinese food here when I am in Sydney. The restaurant has been there for a long time so it feels homely. The food quality is always very good. My favourite is the prawn and lychee dish.

I had a chow mein combination, sizzling steak, Beef and greens. I found the combination chow mein to be watering and also there was some sort of seafood that just tasted like a slug, The beef and greens were very salty and didn't have a lot of flavour. The sizzling steak was nice. My friends had diarrhoea the next day and cramps. I probably wouldn't go back there

Service was good. People were friendly. Had Mongolian lam, Beef chowmein, Roasted pork chowmein, sweet corn chicken soup, fried rice and garlic beef. Cups and bowls were not so clean Food was very average. Very salty!! Quantity was ok Will I come again - No!

The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was delicious. We were a party of 3 who had the fried rice, squid, mongolian lamb and scallops. The vegetables were so crispy and tasty. Such a delightful evening. Ice and water were brought out to us, we brought our own wine. I can recommend this restaurant for it’s food, service and reasonable prices.

We went on mothers day. The wait wasn't that bad. The customer service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and checked us often. We ordered quiet a few dishes. All tasted very nice and the serving portion was big. Reasonable price. Typical chinese restaurant feel. We will definitely go here again

Not great. We picked up an order to take home and was disappointed with the overall taste. The honey chicken had thin batter with next to no chicken and the chow mein was too salty for my taste. Beef and black bean wasn't bad, but I wouldn't return for it.

Walked into a timewarp☺️. Original old school chinese restaurant. $11 lunch specials are great, I had Beef n Black bean with fried rice. Food came in less than 10 mins. Easy, flat access for elderly people.

The food here is amazing. I travel 45 minutes to eat here. It’s also a very comfortable and homely restaurant, friendly staff, in the quaint little old township of Windsor. I recommend honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, tofu with spicy chilli salt, and (most importantly) fried fillet steak with special sauce.

Food was terrible looked anemic sweet and sour pork was also undercooked and fatty waste of $70 nearly all went to the dogs never go there again used to have such great food there don’t know what happened

Windsor Chinese is a great place to dine in or get takeaways. The food here is always of a high standard, so you always know what to expect. The service is also exceptional. I highly recommend them if you want eat our or just grab that meal to take home and enjoy with family or friends.

Great customer service and fast food. There are two types of Sweet & Sour Pork here, $1 difference but oh my, the taste are very similar. It wasn't a good taste. You cannot taste the sweet and sour. Special Fried rice is good, it has meat and prawns in it but the meat is bland.

the deep fried icecream is da bomb..... heaps of toppings to choose from & my other dishes were great also.

Food is quintessential Aussie/Chinese takeaway. While my order took about an hour they offered me a drink and they were very busy. I'd happily return all said and done.

Was recommended by local and it didn’t disappoint!! Good was delicious and the prices very reasonable, yes the decor is a little dated as mentioned by others but thats what makes it even more awesome, will defiantly return and recommend.

They took One hour to tell me that they rein out of something and they were making more and they told me thay had run out of pork but a couple of minutes later thay went to the table next to me and handed them a dish with pork in it

Yummy food and the price was very reasonable. The staff were really friendly to me and my friends even though we came in as a group quite late on a Friday night. I'd love to come back here even though it's not my local Chinese joint

Excellent service and mostly great food which is well priced. It is in a convenient location with street parking. On the multiple times I have eaten here there has been some occasions where the food has not been overly tasty.

I went to this Chinese restaurant for my mother’s 84 birthday , the service was terrible and the waitresses were very unprofessional and rude by slamming plates down and throwing our cutlery on the table with such rudeness .
