"Compact but good range"
"Disappointed"
Used to deliver here when it was Thomas Dux and have managed to come back since the change over last year. Sadly some people have left since Thomas Dux closed, but still a great store with great people. Pretty small store, but over all a good store that you can pop into off the street for all the 'necessities' at your convenience.
Very condescending staff. I was trying to use a gift voucher and an older woman who seemed like a manager spoke down to me and made things harder. When I wanted to back out, she literally told that "this is what we're going to do" and made me use the gift voucher.
I live locally and have for many years. Every time we drop in to pick up groceries they are always out of stock of so many items. Its seems to be a common issue here, planning or forecasting to replenish stock can be hit or miss, but provide the basics at least.
Compact but good range. Got sent by wife to buy dried mint leaves. Couldn't find then. Asked a male employee. He said they don't have any dried herbs. Wife went back to same place next day and found them. Lol. Guy search failure strikes again.
Disappointed. Called in on Mon 13/12: looked for oranges. None. same thing the next day, asked again Thu 16/12. Nope! No luck. A fellow working in F & V didn’t know. He could have offered to find out for me but didn’t. In three visits to to
If you have a large car DO NOT use the carpark. I hit the power pole on exit which is inches from the edge. It has clearly been hit many , many times. Woolworths and the Bayside council should do something about it. All too easy to get too
Nice new store but the isles can barely fit 2 people in them! My entire shop consisted of me waiting on one side to let others past or waiting to get to where I needed. Awful design and makes shopping extremely unpleasant and lengthy
I love going to this supermarket to try new products that they don't have in other areas. The Black Rock Woolies Metro is super boujee and always has interesting and different products that many other areas don't stock.
Discriminatory and assumptive attitude towards those with disabilities and health limitations. Treated as guilty before innocent. I’ve been going to this store every week since it was Thomas Dux and let me tell
Used to love shopping here when it was Thomas Dux. Very sad that it's now Woolworths Metro. At least many of the old staff members are still there. Miss the great range of fabulous products. Fewer of those now.
Was pretty good when it was a Thomas Dux but since changing to a Woolies it rarely stocks anything but the most basics. The last three times I've been there I've walked out without finding anything I needed.
Purchased a $12.10 Macro free range cooked chicken tonight that was cooked well and only 90 min from oven removal. The bird however was scrawny all bone and skin. It was not very enjoyable.
Been twice and both times no milk??? This is a staple that all supermarkets should have surely, there isn’t even a shortage etc. Isles are very narrow so not great with a pram
Used to deliver here when it was Thomas Dux, pretty small store but has a good vibe about it, actually for the most part still looks the same as Thomas Dux did inside
such a pleasure to shop there, customer service is spot on.. thank you. however I don't go there often as i need cat meat and its not stocked in this store.
Lovely staff only small store with limited range . Was well k vs. Aid out and esdy to find items. Had self serve checkouts and operator assisted checkouts.
Shocking service, young lad needs to learn some manners quick. Terrible quality fruit and veg that appears to be on the shelf for way too long.
Good store with a fresh vibe. It was easy to find things. Staff were great. The parking is convenient. The self check outs can be temperamental.
A nice new store - but no deli?? how's that work?? One register with a human behind it - where are the kids going to get their part time jobs?
Great local supermarket. Well stocked and well presented. All the convenience of a supermarket but in the local village.
Used to be a fantastic independent store. Now it's a Woolworths with inferior stock and produce.
Small format store, offering mostly foods and produce for a quick shopping similar to IGA
Lovely service. best quality. Jack helped me find items very easily and effeciently.
Small Woolies, still has most specials. Friendly staff and good service.
Cheap Cheap Cheap. It always provides. That’s all I’m going to say.
Small but clean and tidy and well stocked. A great deli section.
Great local produce however prices are slightly over the mark.
Massive improvement on the old one. Sushi hub is amazing!
better at coles…DOWN DOWN PRICES ARE DOWN AT COLES
Smaller version of Woolworths main supermarkets
Good. Great, very helpful people work there
very small storage not all goods available
Always out of stock of products I want.
Small but you can get all of you want
So handy to have this locally
Not enough staff & variety
