100% I would much rather travel a little bit further (my closest supermarket is Highlands) for the simplicity of walking into one shop, vs. having to enter a shopping centre or plaza to then be able to enter the supermarket, such as Highlands. The staff at this Woolworths are always so polite and happy to help. Occasionally, you may run into a staff member who just doesn’t want to be there or would very clearly rather be doing something else, but in my honest experience out of 15-20 years, running into a rude staff member has probably only happened to me a handful of times, if that. This Woolies is very generously sized. It isn’t humongous where someone may struggle to walk it’s entirety, but it is plenty big enough to find pretty much anything you may be dashing to the supermarket in hopes to find. Definitely larger than the Woolworths at Highlands in Craigieburn North. The only ‘bad’ things about the old tuckerbag shops is that the car park can become a bit of a kerfuffle if you’re new or just don’t go there often. Accessing from Hanson Rd, passing the coles fuel station, there used to be a ‘yield’ sign for cars wanting to turn left, as they had to wait for the main traffic to come in off Craigieburn Rd, and yield for a decent amount of time while you waited for 10+ vehicles. This ‘yield’ sign has since been removed which now means typical road rules apply. You’re likely to run into the same kind of issue if you are leaving the shops and are walking to make a right turn onto Craigieburn Rd, as drivers turning into the plaza have right of water, so you’re actually unable to move out and sit in the divider to wait to go right, without first having to give way to a few hundred cars that are wanting to turn in. In the same Craigieburn Plaza complex you’re can get anything from food, to alcohol, tobacco, and pretty much anything in between. The whole car park seems to fill up pretty quick on weekends around midday, and obviously peak hour time’s such as before or after work. A great silver lining is that this Woolworths is actually one of the only one in Craigieburn open until midnight, as Craigieburn Centrals Woolworths is also open until midnight, but parking at Craigieburn Central whether it be during or after majority trading hours, is still always very difficult. It’s also very convenient that you can go down the road an extra minute or two, to go to the old Craigieburn Plaza, you also have access to the services and such mentioned before. You can go to the supermarket, the doctor, the pharmacy, shop for pretty much anything (between cashies, the few $2 shops in the old part, ect). Love the ease of coming here, and will definitely continue!! :D P.s.. There also used to be public toilets, which are always helpful!, tucked in the corner where the additional two disabled spots were, to the left of the bottle shop, however, I think the toilets have been closed off, locked, removed..? It would be great to have that back again :)
I bought headphones from woolworths Craigieburn plaza situated at the corner of Hanson rd and Craigieburn rd , Melbourne...they didn't fit on my ears so I went back to return them but they refused to take return with an excuse that box is opened.yes box was opened but still in new condition...only tapes were removed.. I can't understand how can I try headphones without opening the box...and also I asked the staff before buying that will I be able to return if it doesn't fit my ears and she said yes and asked me to keep the receipt. NEVER BUY FROM WOOLWORTHS
Pricey, several times with expired or near-to-expire 'best before' and even 'use by' date, beef is awful (usually without any seasoning and generally tasteless), no offer of organic poultry, absolutely tasteless (and very expensive) rocket. Much better meats at some local butchers and more variety and freshness of veggies (and really much cheaper) at local veggie stores. And, please, stop annoying us with that banal attempt of subliminal brain-washing music of "fresh food people"...! Or was it "TRASH FOOD PEOPLE...?
Express checkout with a human is never open, i think it's due to the lack of staff. click and collect is hardly used and taking up 3 spaces in front of store, instead of side with a camera for staff to observe, it's hard enough to get a park that's convenient if you have a disability. Just an update, management have now reduced the number of parking spots at the front again. Unbelievable. Move the collection points to the side or rear of the store to maximise access?
In this store you can find almost any thing. It’s always clean and the shelves are really well-organised. The staff are very friendly, polite and absolutely helpful. Last night particularly, “Rick” went above and beyond his responsibilities to help my little girl. He absolutely saved me. An amazing leadership and great attention to details is visible in this shop. Please keep us the good job, Woolies!
My brother and I were out to buy some chips and drinks, once we finished checking out and head over to get out. This male employee came over to us and said “Did you pay for the chips “, I couldn’t say anything but we did due to my brother being there. This employee always has an issue with me and I always let it slide. Need to talk to a manager asap
For some reason I have noticed that the staff at this particular store, especially at self checkout is very aggressive, and the way they deliver the customer service is unacceptable. Woolworths have to look into it and train their staff adequately. Poor and rude customer service is neither accepted nor expected.
Small older style Woolworths, seems to carry less variety/range of items than other stores. Hasn't had the big modern Reno/update like other Woolworths stores have, but I did notice they have the produce misters now (hooray!) Ps. This is the Woolworths with the best (and biggest) range of plants in the area.
Honestly hate the customer service from this supermarket! Even after standing in line waiting for a bit - they take their good ol' time talking amongst each other; I've had to ask someone else to see if there was anyone serving a couple of times now. Zero for customer service and zero for attitude!
Not very impressed. It was a Sunday morning and the staff there seemed almost annoyed that the customers got in the way of their restocking and cleaning. I went to a supervisor and told her that I want very happy with the service and she said she would pass it on to the manager.
Absolutely appalling behaviour by staff member jodie. Staff need to be trained how to approach customers n how to talk. Disrespected my mother over a trolley pulled it out of her hands embarrassed her infront of other customers. Absolutely disgusting
Possibly the worst Woollies format. Small BORING. White bread, white rolls, sugary snacks and cakes surround you as you walk in toward the fruit and veg area. Piles of frozen pizza confront you as you try to find some fresh meat. Parking is horrid.
Thanks to Jess for the exemplary customer service during our click and collect experience. Your over all response toward our missing items has strengthen our faith in work ethics and friendly service of Woolworths, Craigieburn Plaza. Thanks again
Love the courtesy for thinking of us buying our food early this morning. Wonderful idea , no pushing or shoving from any young people. Most of all we were able to buy all our food at once. Thank you Woolies and Staff.
Good old woolies. Very convenient than new ones which are found inside shopping centres with poorly designed parking. Great staff and still have the country feel. Better than new shopping centre practicality wise.
Best run Woolworths we've ever experienced, we have been using the click-to-boot service and all staff have been professional and positive consistently - credit to the manager and crew there
Worst supermarket ever they do not spend any money on shop looks disgusting and they never have anything you actually want or need absolutely ridiculous
Big thanks and appreciation to Jess for helping with my online order after some items were missing. The way it was handled deserves all 5 stars
Love this whoolies but please bake more sour dough bread. There is never enough for everyone and if you come in arvo there is never enough
Shelves could be better organized and floors could be cleaner. Otherwise well stocked and plenty parking in the plaza area it is
This store compared to most is a bit dated and dirty looking. Not that it's dirty. It just needs a face-lift
Rude and unhelpful staff, extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. It isn't hard to be kind.
small and nice. i like the place just because it's not too big and easy to buy stuffs and exit
Good store, except for self serve checkouts. Great staff, who are always ready to help.
The best Woolworths if you need quick access to things Staff always polite and helpful
Very quick easy parking friendly staff better than Highlands and Craigieburn centre.
Very friendly staff and handy working hours. Convenient for daily shopping.
