"Had the most wonderful experience this morning, I attempted to use a basket for a very large shop and I realised I needed a trolley, so I asked a male self serving assistant if he would mind me passing to grab a trolley, he was happy to do so and as I was walking off one of the other gentlemen working and pushing some trolleys (later to find his name to be Michael ) wished me a friendly good morning"
"Have always had great friendly service and wonderful specials on 2 products l buy all the time"
Today, I picked up my order from this store and 8 items were missing from my order. This was the 3rd time it happened with me that several items were missing, that too 3 times consecutively!!! What a horrid service??? DON'T YOU HAVE ANY PROCESSES AND SYSTEM IN PLACE??? I understand there's an influx in orders being placed nowadays, albeit I'm seriously wondering how it can happen every time. I strongly believe that there are serious gaps in your system and processes which has been leading to these repeated blunders, otherwise, it can't occur all the time. Last time I was given a packet of chocolates as an apology gesture when one bottle of milk was missing. Today, it breeched all heights of horrid customer service when I was given a bunch of stale flowers when 8 items were missing (7 milk bottles and 1 spread) instead of some justified explanation. It wasted around an hour. Thank God I always check all the items now whenever I receive my order from any Woolworths store, seeing all your recurring bloopers, otherwise, if I check everything after going home then I'd have to come back every time. I'd give minus 10 out of 10 to your services!!! Request you to please hire some experienced and qualified managers who can review and set up the processes appropriately before it's too late and become a catastrophic situation!!! You ought to validate all this which I've mentioned here to corroborate the facts. I'd never ever recommend Woolworths to anyone.
We ordered our shopping online and picked it up this afternoon. We arrived home and noticed a fair few items had been missing. We called up and were notified that some bags had not been brougth out to the car. We then asked if we could have them delivered to us as it is Easter and needed the items, keeping in mind we have a two week old baby, so we dont have the luxury of just driving back to collect it . We got told that they didnt have any spare drivers as it was a public holiday and we needed to pick it up ourselves. If you offer a customer the service of 'direct to boot' ensure you properly fulfil the promise and when you make a mistake, own up to it. We being the customers shouldnt have to go out of our way because of your mistake. Not good enough and being a large company more consideration shoud have been given, especially given its Easter. Poor on your behalf
One of the original Woolies in the area. Stock levels are usually good, and they seem to manage their markdowns regularly and well - going as far as having a consistent location in each fresh food dept (and a major location for grocery) where the almost-out-of-code stock is grouped together, so you can browse for a bargain the day before payday if you need to... Downside - has an on-off relationship with locking the trolleys together - policy seems to change when the store manager does - so always take a gold coin or spend the dollar on the re-usable keyring tab that opens both Woolies and Coles trolleys. ‘Cause if you don’t need it this month, you will next.
Had the most wonderful experience this morning, I attempted to use a basket for a very large shop and I realised I needed a trolley, so I asked a male self serving assistant if he would mind me passing to grab a trolley, he was happy to do so and as I was walking off one of the other gentlemen working and pushing some trolleys (later to find his name to be Michael ) wished me a friendly good morning. Soon after I was called out to both Michael and the gentleman on the self service check out had placed all my items from the basket into the trolley . It may not seem much but this meant a great deal to me and just made my morning!!! Thank you so much !
Have always had great friendly service and wonderful specials on 2 products l buy all the time. When on special l buy in bulk.Work out the time frame which carries me over till my specials come on again. So never pay full price.Have saved a great deal of money shopping this way.l would have given it 5 stars except l have 1 particular gripe and that is they have blocked out exit and you have to walk around side of building to disabled carpark. They should take the barriers down as it is a great effort for me to walk that far.Woolies at the Plaza doesnt have barriers and so you can go straight to your car
Going through the 15 item or less and the woman in front had a full trolley load, far exceeding the 15 item limit. Yes they served her. It took the staff member to process 1/2 the order before he called Priority 1. The staff member who responded had been standing in the self serve area (we were right next to it so could see her) proceeded to serve us. It is so disappointing that people choose to ignore the clear instructions/directions right in front of them. But more so, staff not upholding those instructions/directions by refusing to process the order. Won't be going there again.
It’s a satisfactory branch with hard working staff who take care of a significant load of customers especially at about 5-7pm. Some products during my visit were out but it’s understandable. Woolworths is doing an amazing job across Australia & you can always rely on them without being disappointed. Note: If you’re new to Australia, Woolworths (called Safeway by some locals) is an Australian huge supermarket that has more or less everything you need.
Very bad customer service.. purchased more than 30 items but this girl at the counter was adamant to serve at a smaller one ( that serves 15 items or less) I had to bend numerous times to put those items on to the counter adding pain to already sore back. In spite of reminding her that this is 15 items or less counter she continued pretending not to understand the plight of the customer. I will never go to this store again.
Two cashier open which were the cigarette booth cashier, had a full trolley with two people in front of me, unpacking my grocery was awkward when both of us had trolleys, the cashier packed so much in one bag, the chips were squash, bread, just dumped in. The deli, i wanted a certain chicken she just grabbed whatever she wanted. Talking 2 her co staff while serving me, not even given eye contact and just plain rude.
I was asked if i paid for 2 fifteen cent bags i said i had...they waited for me to walk away and then pulled my receipt from the machine i used and gave each other the thumbs up that i paid...but my word wasnt good enough and very rude to me like i wanted to steal bags...never shopping there again felt like a thief..the atmosphere was just rude both from door person and fast checkout server
Popped into Woolies to grab a water slab for a picnic on this 35°c Saturday! I underestimated the weight of the slab and an employee named Michael came and carried it all the way to the checkout for me as well as allowing me to grab a bag of chips on my way. Thank you so much! It’s really the little things that can make your day. Keep doing what you’re doing Michael @ Hogans Corner Woolies
Very disappointing as I only bought a couple of things, brushed potatoes which are green, (but this is not only your store. It seems to be all the local woolworths stores ). A cauliflower which is not very fresh. To say that I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. I used to do a lot of shopping in your store, but will now think twice.
Hi i shop nearly every day but in the last few times the items i buy are not there theres been at least 5 different items that have been missing getting quite frustrated now might have to reconsider my Woolworths or change to coles i spend alot of money every week again i went this morning and now this time there was no sausage meat …
I love this Woolworths store... there's great staff, great products, great prices, sometimes there's in store sales too, if you look closely... only issue I have is... the trolleys are all locked up again, so I have to remember the special coin for them AND the shopping bags... I don't have any problems with the bag though...
This store expects you to buy pre sliced meats cut earlier in the morning and use an excuse of "cleaning the machine " when you want it cut at 6pm. The meat has been sitting all day,is discoloured on edges and is a health concern. Young lady at the deli you are rude and lazy. Bad attitude in this day and age.
So impressed by the staff last night. They advised they were closing in 10 minutes due to covid (I believe) and they were so polite and kind the whole time even though they would probably need to be tested and isolate for 14 days. The past 18 months have been so hard and the staff have always been great.
Wonderful customer service from a lovely lady called Misty today who fixed up a problem after a phone call that for the most part was my fault. In these trying times for supermarket staff not only was she professional she was so lovely to deal with, she is truly a great asset to Woolworth's.
It's woollies, what else can I say. Friendly staff, went there one night when wife was craving some Korean snack that their website was in stock there. We couldn't find it and when asked for help, they bent over backwards to look for it. Very very nice and helpful staff.
I shop here regularly and as such, I save heaps of money. A bonus of living close to a supermarket is that I never pay full price for anything. I'm a savvy shopper and I wait for the fresh produce to be reduced and pay 50% less and sometimes up to 70% savings.
Very bad services, The store manager has very bad customer service, I saw how she treated a customer badly and then she did it to me. I am really very disappointed, I will not buy from this store again, werribe store has better service
They think it acceptable to have one person on the register, if that. Oftentimes there is no one at a register, with the self serve points the only ones that were "taking money" - so disrespectful, and extremely poor service.
Clean storr and friendly staff. Close to home. Great selection of toilet paper especially for those times of panic buying. Only downside is the pet food section looks indistinguishable from the human consumption range.
It was so good to shop there haven't shopped there before I didn't know where anything was all the staff filling shelves where very friendly and I'm formative thanks Woolworths Hogan's corner w job well done …
Never enough stock and the store is always is in disarray. Granted it is a smaller store than others but looks very shabby and is very unclean. Staff there looks very unhappy and the store just has a flat feel overall
Horrible manager at checkout Mary V she has no customer service skills at all and let's.customers.pinch goods through checkout not impressed for a manager.Yet things are up in inflation we are all paying full price.
Thakk you to the two lovely I spoke to, so kind and generous. Also thank you to the young lady who gave me a trolley. Best wishes to you both, in the 12 items counter. You both made my day.⭐ …
I do most of my household shopping at Woolworths at Hogan's Corner. It is rare they they don't have what I need or want. The staff and management are professional always polite and helpful.
Went to buy rolls only to find them all sticky and wet inside the bag and smelling only like yeast ♀️ Total waste of money and a trip. Otherwise staff and other products are all good …
Smaller Woolworths but they have some products that the largest Hoppers Crossing store doesn't have. Short-life bakery items tend to get removed from shelves rather than being marked down.
That Jack Bloke was amazing! Place hasn't been the same since he left. Special mentions also go to Serena, Shantelle, Mark, Matthew, Ricky, Alex and Yordy. Absolute goated team no Cap.
Only shop here now and again - immediate car parking area usually busy and congested. Staff mostly friendly and courteous. No problems with the range and availability of products
A good Woolies in a good location. Inside, it's much the same as all the others. But, good to have one out here in this location. And Dan Murphy's is right across from it too.
Great place to go.. located in the corner of the little strip which makes it kinda perfect. Clean both inside and out and more often than not, it isn't always that busy.
I used to live near this Woolworths back in the day, it's ok. The staff are bit rude and the bread section is absolutely abysmal, but everything else is passable.
Confusing car park, homeless and druggies often frequent the area but relatively safe to visit. Mostly Coles around so it's good that this Woolworths exits here.
Always friendly staff willing to help! most times they have special deals on and can always get a bargain great variety of products and fresh produce aswell
I always come here as it’s a great place to shop.parking is easy to access. The chemist has great staff as does the the rest, good places to get a bite.
Terrible car park. Everyone treats its like a race course so you have to park right at the back if you don't want to have to repair your car.
This branch of Woolies seems to be well stocked, clean, with helpful staff. Parts of the car-park can be a nightmare getting in and out of.
Don't use self service checkouts staff remove items from your bag and rescanning them. Manager does nothing except tell you you're a liar
Usually good. Though a bit light on stock. Wish i could still buy fam fairy cakes. Ehy don't they have them any more. The kids adore them
Great donut shop there. The woman out the front smoking and begging for money does nothing to make me want to come back. Get rid of her.
Why did they delete the enchiladas from there ; available store list? Very good product but now unavailable which is disappointing!!!!
Brought a Woolworths leg ham on the bone $48 and it was so dry I could hardly swallow it what a waste of money that was buyers beware
It’s clean and tidy with lots of parking spots. Almost all the products are available. Staff is very helpful and professional.
Supermarket located on the corner which was great to shop while passing through Hogans road. Sales on bakery items was great.
I give this store 5 stars as there's a lovely and helpful team member named Alison. Fantastic customer service all the time.
Unfortunately due to supply shortages, they are running out of basic food items like eggs and pre packed shredded lettuce.
Went to get a cooked chicken for dinner and there was none so we got a leg of lamb went home and cook that. …
this is one of the worst Woolworths service in west area. whenever i came here i have to always wait so long for pick up.
Just another average woolies.. Nothing special, nothing bad. But yea, their green produce is way better then local coles.
I HATE the parking here... is a bad design and you've got to have a second pair of eyes to keep an eye on pedestrians.
Amazing shopping experience . Great inventory . Staff always super friendly and always helpful. Everything available!
I go here everyday after school for a snack or two and the stock was always there certainly recommend this Safe way!
Not bad produce isnt always great. Parking is always horrible. My sisters car got taken out and there is no cameras
Today not good , shelves were less than half stocked. Usually it's my reliable WW Hogan's Corner store I shop at
A pleasant shopping experience. Polite staff and prompt service. Remember to abide by social distancing rules.
1 of 3 Woolies within easy drive for us. This one only has a few other shops adjacent. Good range & service.
Shop is ok. It’s the very pushy hecklers they allow at both doors trying to collect donations that annoy me.
The young girl I believe her name is Hedi is so nice always smiling and good service …
What lovely and wonderful staff. I am a disabled person and they help me a lot. Can't thank them enough
My local shops good service NEVER full so no problem getting through cheakout good ppl manager good man
A supermarket is a supermarket what can you say I've never had a problem there the worker seem lovely
Friendly staff always willing to help with a smile. Their gluten free range is quite limited though
Very good service... Clean & everything easy to get. Nice I'll shop again here. Thanks Woolworths
The fruits and veggies are always fresh and the prices are very decent. Super nice staff too.
Store was tidy, staff very friendly. They were open until 11pm on a Tuesday which was handy.
The manager Mary is so rude!!!Should not be working there at all.......not coming back
Good shopping, fish and chips, pizza, chemist, $2 shop,Danials donuts, woolworths ect
Great place but can't always find a staff member to help when u can't find something
Easy to.locate. Lots of parking available. Service good and nice staff also.
Lovely staff member by the name of Randolph who always brightens my day.
Always greeted with beggers out the front, I try not to go to this shop
Very friendly staff, ☆store not too big, most things easy to find .
The best cashier award has to go to lokindu because he was so kind
My go to place whenever i need anything i cant find elsewhere
Unfriendly staff, looks like she is going through a bad day
Wednesdays are great for specials. Well-stocked outlet.
Good service helpful staff, not enough parking bays.
It's got all the same products as a normal Safeway
To many rude and aragent ppl . Not staff customers
