I found that the choice of products was pretty good although it doesn't have a lot of products that most Woolworths stock. But as this is only my second time I have been there. I am still working out the store lay out. I n saying that, they do have a lot of products that I have not seen before. Some of which I purchased on my Fist 'ist. Especially in the fresh, ready made fresh easy to cook meals. Which is great for me as I Live alone. Good meals for me to eithern eat with in the next day or so or so or freeze. I hope that in future visits that in the next few visits that i get undresta?d the store layout. As I am quite)disabled, that It will save me and my elderly friend from walking up and down isles that we don't need to. As long as the signs above the isles are correct and large enough for us to read. That will save us a lot of time and pain. But over all a very good experience and I was amazed that we got to the register and they saw that the only registers that were open where very over loaded already, so they opened the nea4es5 register near to us to help speed is through the store and finish our way back to the car. The? L for that they obably saw that I was disabled and my Friend was quite elder. Thank You Woolworths in Laramer for expediting the whole cnecout experience. Well Done.

Ok ... this was my worst day ever in a Woolworth store ... today @ 14:33 on Friday 11th January 2019 I had $45 worth of food items so decided to use the self service checkout ... because I did not have any bags, I off loaded the items from my Woolworths trolley onto the left hand side of the scanner and moved the Woolworths shopping trolley to the right of the scanner for loading ... then along came this officious Woolworths woman who told me I had to move my trolley back to the left ... I protested that it was illogical as I needed to load after scanning ... but she was having none of it and pushed my trolley back to the left adding "how am I supposed to check that you have paid for everything ?" ... I was stunned and upset. I felt humiliated and belittled A nice lady customer next to me said that was ridiculous and I should be able to put the trolley where I wanted and that this woman seemed to have forgotten that I was the customer. ... 1 hour later at home and I'm still upset.... a bad day.

Layout of this Woolworths is a little weird, there's no phone reception in the store, alot of the staff are very judgemental based on how you look and the colour of your hair etc in regards to assuming you're a thief or calling security checks just because you have a lot of piercings or look young or walk around trying to remember what it is you need because no phone reception to text your mum for a shopping list and they make public scenes and demand to search you and follow you to your car and stuff some friends have reported staff here multiple times and had issues escalated up the chain and still things don't change and I saw it first hand at one stage. Just be careful if you don't fit certain moulds of social acceptance about shopping here.

The best supermarket close to home... at the moment. Customer service rating depends on who's available on site. I did shopping early this morning 8AM-ish using the large trolley. At the checkout, nobody was on the long conveyor belt counters, so asked the staff at the online shopping counter if I can unload on the closed long conveyor belt counter as I have 30+items. I was surprised with the response, asking me to do the self-checkout (hmm, a customer dis-service). Thanks, someone attended the longer counter... but it was too late, a customer dis-service has been done. Advise: do your large shopping on site after 9AM... not before, as no one will look after the longer conveyor counters.

The overall feel of the establishment was quite comforting with friendly staff and a good bakery. Although as I was in the confectionary isle, whilst inspecting the wide range of chocolate bars, I had come across a half eaten large Snickers Bar. This left me heartbroken as I felt disgusted. I instead chose a Mars Bar because of this indecent act, my appetite for Snickers has seemed to dissolved. I went to the checkout where I was greeted by the nice staff who put my order through and I left. Although the bin at the front door was overflowing and had a variety of liquids seeping out of it. Thank you and I shall return due to the kind interactions with staff members.

  • Bing Oscar

Keep away from this Woolworths!! The customer service is appalling, during the week you will get the senior mostly female staff member and wow they are so miserable and rude. These are the kind of staff members that will make you think twice about returning. Lots of grumpy faces they need to mix it up and replace the people who look like they don’t want to be there ( blonde lady at the customer service desk with no customer service skills gives plenty of dirty looks never doing anything but walking around ) can’t wait for coles to open so I can avoid this store for good! FYI don’t bother calling the store for your comments or concerns they don’t answer! EVER!

  • David

I was surprised to see that you needed a coin to access the supermarket trolley. I asked at the counter and they insisted on selling me a plastic token - so that I could use a trolley and buy food from their supermarket. It was 35c, a trifling amount but I never carry coins these days and had to use a credit card for 35c! They obviously think so badly of their customers they don't trust them to return the trolley. There are numerous Woolies in this area but this is the only one that treats their customers so shabbily. Perhaps its a rougher area than the houses and cars around the supermarket would suggest?

Please Post Preservatives on all your products I purchased mixed nuts with a dried fruit here with the Woolworths brand and as I suffer from migraines which are triggered by certain foods and preservatives I read all the information to check they were safe There was no mention of preservatives so ate some only to suffer a severe migraine afterwards. I suspected the preservatives were in the dried fruit but as I bought two lots one with fruit one without I thought the other pack was safe to eat but no I suffered a lower intensity migraine from that one

MY WIFE RETURNED FROM WOOLWORTHS IN TEARS! We started using the Woolworths online services to make our lives easier with our two special needs children. We’ve had nothing but negative experiences, from poor produce, defrosted Frozen goods, incorrect orders/lost order, getting charged multiple times to disrespectful staff. Sometimes it's hard enough just to get out of the house, let alone having to deal with all the extra stress with something that is meant to be convenient.

  • Nathan Stewart

A professional well run store but honestly it's far from cheap. For convenience it's a great option, but heading to Aldi would yield almost twice as much for the same price. Calling themselves fresh food people is a bit of a joke. The product selection seems like its more about maximising profit that providing a selection of local quality foods. The staff in the bottle shop in particular are extremely nice and pleasant.

  • Carol Hooper

Don't like being a Karen, but since when does a customer have to pack their own bags again. Not impressed that the girl at the check out didn't even offer to do so.Just shoved my groceries out, that I couldn't keep up with putting them in my bags. Very disappointing and phoned store to get clarification and not even an appology. I only shop there as it is convenient.

  • Peter Axton

The store is clean and the staff friendly & helpful but the aisles constantly blocked by promotional displays and unattended trolleys where the staff member is working elsewhere at the the time. Of course outside, not only the carpark and the footpaths, but the entire centre is littered with shopping trolleys. Thanks Woolworths for looking after the lazy shoppers!

  • aaron Khoo

31/3 at 945pm Brought groceries in from Coles as I finished work and wanted to pick something up from Woolworths before home, lady at self serve checkout told me off for bringing in a Coles bag. First of all who are you to tell me I can’t bring my groceries I got from coles that I paid for and secondly say over and over “that’s weird” MIDN UOUR OWN BUSINESS

  • Justin Delahunty

Adequate supermarket, however prices are remarkably high compared to other supermarkets in the area (especially Woolworths Mernda, which is approximately 30% cheaper for the same shop!). Perhaps when a competitor opens nearby in the coming months they'll reduce their prices, until then it's more cost effective to drive 3x as far to do our grocery shopping.

  • Emma L

After starting early on Fathers Day at supermarket to find only one check out open at 8am with several full trolleys waiting there I was forced to self serve and handle my full trolley of goods several times due to the need to put goods on bag tray, finish, pay then put back in trolley... seriously who has the time for this....will try the new Coles Mernda

  • Monty Wild

This store used to have many items that we buy, but over the years, they have stopped stocking a large number of products that don't have a particularly high turnover. The prices are not particularly cheap either. It has got to the point where we go to IGA because of their better range of vegan and vegetarian food, and only shop here for urgent items.

  • Felix Brown

This was once my local store but due to incorrect pricing, a handful of impolite, unhelpful staff, poor service and overcrowding I no longer shop there...one cashier on fast lane, Annie recently threw the bag I had given her over near my purchases and walked away leaving me to pack my own bag...this store badly needs a new manager

  • brahma254

This is my local supermarket run by super staff. All the staff here are rock star. Always happy to checkout the back when things have run out in the aisle. Alos I many times I have seen the young staff offer help to elderly drop their shopping to the car. It is a part of giant chain but it has the feel to it like a local grocer.

  • ray kitchingman

Not enough stock, especially at the end of the day. What stock they do have is scattered all over the place, quite hard to find some things. Need more checkouts opened. People at the deli don't even know what "a dozen" means. Some employees give you a nasty look, are rude and grumpy. Hope coles opens ASAP! Bit overpriced..

  • Kerrie

Generally good but not impressed that I'm standing at the deli waiting my turn, a guy comes along and the young girl behind the counter, all of a sudden decides she can serve HIM! Doesnt matter that i had been waiting there ages before he came along. What's the point of the ticket number system? Was not impressed AT ALL!

  • Rich Bergami

consistently being treated like a criminal at teh self serve checkouts, a Penny and a Maria are disgusting in their cusnter service and always check that I have scanned all my ites AFTER I have left.....thats why we now Choose Coles not this Woolies.......PATHETIC. Congratualtion on losing an entire family of shoppers.

  • Trent Batchelor

Finally fed-up with the place. Worst trolleys in Melbourne, had far too many regular items out of stock, and the final straw was after laying out all of the cold items clearly spaced separately from everything else i bought, they were split into 3 separate bags. Goodbye Woolworths, time to check out the new Coles.

  • karen clarke

Thank you Dyanne for being so caring and patient After unloading at the register I realised I didn't have my cash or cards Nothing was too much trouble for her Arriving back she had my groceries ready in the trolley Thankyou again Dyanne reassuring me that it was no trouble

  • K L

One of the worst Woolworths in Melbourne. Isles are constantly crowded with stock on the floor waiting to be put on the shelf. Staff are rude and not helpful at all and it's always extremely busy. Go to Coles in Mernda - it's night and day and you'll thank me for it.

  • Neffe Rios

Do your staff at the Deli understand what 'a dozen' means? In case you don't know.. it means 12... not 6. 12 (YES) .... 6(NO). Not the first time I asked for A DOZEN slices of something and only got 6. Is it because your staff can't count to 12 or can't be bothered?

  • Steven Hamilton

Walking into the Woolworth precinct, everyone is so nice. Love coming down here, first getting a happy hello from Andy at the central coffee shop. Everything is so easy to find down at Woolworths, and the friendly staff make me and my family feel special every time.

  • Lottie Peters

There was a girl behind the counter that served me in an absolutely beautiful , very friendly manner and she talked to me while I was being served which I thought was really nice, because usually people rush you through and don't care about human contact anymore

  • Joan Banks

Felt sorry for the one girl cashiering on the fast counter there was easily ten people waiting with their goods she rang for help and then the manager came and helped also where trollies are kept in store need steam cleaning or something things are being noticed

  • TEDDI Dc

Senior staff are unfriendly and rude, predominantly always talking amongst each other, usually criticing other staff or customers from what I've experienced. Rather drive an extra 5k up the road to Coles, friendly and nicer environment. Minus 1 review!

  • Don Tadixz

Just another Woolworth store. Staff were courteous. Cucumbers were spongey not firm. Supermarket produce is never as good as it should be. Spends too much time in their convuluted distribution before hitting the shelves. Remember to take your bags...

  • Ajanta Judd

Well stocked spacious supermarket with everything you need including good selection of vegetarian and vegan foods. Helpful staff and fresh healthy produce. Great discount shop right next door and Doreen Woollies slightly better than Mernda Woollies.

  • Ryan Grech

Was distracted for one second when I seen my server putting the just packed bags of grocery’s into my trolley for me, it’s the staff that do little things like this that they don’t have to that mean a lot, thanks heaps Tahlia your are fantastic!

  • Jill Grover

Not comfortable with helping the disabled Ive recently had the best service from a lovely lady called samantha So uplifting to find out that the one incident Has been replaced by lovely samantha I vote for customer service award Well done

  • Jennifer Demir

Woolies staff are doing an amazing job during very difficult times. They are to be commended for their positive interactions with shoppers as not all shoppers treat them with the respect they deserve. Three cheers...Fabulous work.

  • Nikoo Chamani

I had to spend 20 min, having no coin! They didn't give me trolley to shop!!! This was the worth experience ever! Staff didn't take responsibility! Their system couldn't cash out a dollar from my card! I feel humiliated and angry.

  • Steve Hunter

Stock levels aren't always great, there's a couple of senior staff who could learn to be a little more approachable but it's okay. My main issue is that suggestions to the staff don't feel like they are really taken seriously.

  • Bethany Stratton

Staff are very friendly, welcoming and eager to assist. Aisles are clearly labeled and free of clutter. The shelves are all neat. The centre is well stocked of produce and you can find your every need for a decent price.

  • reza makouei

Recently needs coins for trollies, sells tokens if you don't have one! This means you will have to touch the chain of another trolly, unsanitized, to get the coin back, and they made this change after COVID started!

  • Tasmanian Devil

Staff are exceptionally friendly at this store and all look like they enjoy their job, unlike other Woolworths stores. Just make sure you check the eggs before you buy them because half the cartons have broken ones.

  • Jay Dee

Staff are great and friendly. They actually notice and remember you when you return. Sometimes stock that is there one week is not the next few and then randomly returns a few weeks later. Otherwise a great woolies

  • Surain Devanarayana

Yoyr staff member (madeline) at counter (25th april 2018 at 5.30pm) cheat for 30cents. Unbelievable... according to her I haven't give enough money. Check your cameras ti see how much I paid. Rude arrogant staff..

  • Brendan Rayner

Not sure I actually went into a Woolworths, I loathe the way they (and the other vile farmer wrecking duopoly Coles) operate, I would (and do) go out of my way to avoid shopping at either of those organisations.

  • XYZ ABC

Not the first time this has happened. “Fresh” produce not fresh at all. Sells rotting fruit and vegetables. I bought strawberries that look ok on the outside but rotten on the inside. Same thing with beetroot.

  • Tom Slick

It is difficult to find this Woolies from the main street while driving. It is set back from the road with other shops closer. Once inside it has all the regular features Woolworths are known for.

  • Ian Dunell

A huge thank you to store manager Milan who went over and above when we needed a couple of replacement items from the supermarket today. An absolute delight to deal with. Thank you Milan.

  • Ash Folan

Pretty good woolworths....carpark can be a bit frustrating. But other than that it is good. There is more variety than some woolworths I have been in. Especially for healthy options!

  • Woken Up

Their is a particular group of ladies at the front desk whom are rude, they talk about other customers while your waiting at checkout. They have very minimal customer service skills.

  • Margriet Midgley

Fresh produce is generally good quality with organic fruit and vegetables also available. The deli department carries many options and alternatives for meals for one or more

  • Fran Sinclair

I have bought dog food that is off twice. Off fish, raw donuts. It is a joke i will buy biscuits and packaged foods but never buy fresh food as it is sometimes off or raw.

  • Pat Perera

Good range. Good prices. Parking can be a bit of an issue at times. Customer service mostly OK but removing one star from my previous rating due to a bad experience today.

  • KudoT

Really cool staff overall, everything you'd expect from a Woolies. Trolley fetching guy can be a bit overly-friendly and familiar but you get used to it, it's endearing.

  • Patrick Muldoon

Bigger store than our local Mernda Woolies. If, and when the new Mernda Township adjacent to the Mernda Station opens, we may have a larger store with more to offer.

  • julie owen

Need more disable car parks and more trolley bays also ramps from the door path because people with a disability find it very hard to find car spots trolley bays .

  • Mark Boyle

Stock not kept up on shelves. Stock selections reduced if they don't have the brands I want then I will shop where I can find them or where the pricing is better.

  • V Bosh

It's ok. Most of the staff are friendly, helpful and were wearing masks durin Covid. Fairly anglo selection of foods. Plenty of white bread, coke and pies though.

  • Mitchell Kent

Worse produce which is always either out of stock or pass it's used by / best before. So glad the Coles opened up, won't be returning to this woolies ever again.

  • Geoff F

The price of meat is always disappointing at Woollies (& Coles) given all the advertising. Discounting of meat is non existent. Only go there to buy coffee pods.

  • Emmanuel Sim

A mainstay of what has identified Laurimar with. Good variety of local and international selections. Hours has changed and is now shutting at 11pm, not midnight

  • Joe Di Geronimo

The worst place to shop. Hard to get parking these days with the addition to new people moving in with all those units being built everywhere, it feels crammed!

  • Brad hud

Coles and Woolworths have decided to force it's staff to have a Covid vaccine even after the mandate ends. I'll no longer spend my money with these companies

  • Gerard Vanderlinden

This place has 2 dollar shop chemist wharehouse Woolies butcher chicken shop Baker's delight greengrocers Delhi out side cafes hairdressers and other shops

  • Brody Grundy

Worst store in town and that I have even seen. Dirty floors, empty specials, have to wait 20 minutes at a register, milk empty, dirty smelly store.

  • Jayde Cook

Has everything I need and staff always helpful if I can't find what I want. Occasionally the produce is a little bare, but depends on the day.

  • Salman Shami

Great store. Well organised, clean, fresh fruit and vegetables and friendly helpful staff. They are one of the best managed Woolworths around.

  • robert langdon

Visiting from Mildura called in for quick browse and shop, almost everything in store 10+% dearer than Woolies Mildura. Won't be rushing back

  • Natalie C

I have completed online shopping delivered to home and direct to boot and all the staff have been extremely helpful, friendly and punctual.

  • Kellie Wing

It was early morning and busy. Lines to long at checkouts. Went to self self checkout. Still had to wait as 4 machines were out of order

  • 20macdog

Very rude staff, always have the cash self serve machines not working, lady with pink hair whose name I didn’t catch was extremely rude

  • Pamela Crankshaw

Staff are always friendly. Only complaint is the LAZY people who leave their trolley wherever they have finished with it. Disgusting!

  • RB

Friendly staff, doesn't always have as good a range as other stores. Always runs out of promotional items before promotion finishes.

  • Ben

Nice Woolies. Clean, neat, well stocked, good variety. Would be 5 stars but they don't stock Weiss Exotics tubs anymore :-(

  • liam taggert

Friendly staff and also very helpful, Saturday mornings at 8am best time to go, fully stocked up and hardly anyone there

  • Justin Jolley

It's OK as far as supermarkets go... just not a fan of needing a token/coin for a trolley... I hardly carry coins.

  • Lionel Weston

Don't bother, rud and look down on people,, you would get better service in the gutter,, don't shop at this place

  • Ian Craig Marshall

It's a busy, well stocked and conveniently located stock-standard Woolies supermarket in Laurimar town centre.

  • Transporter185

It’s just like any other Woolworths. Plenty of stock, never been disappointed. Staff are friendly and helpful.

  • Michael Russell

Decent Woolies. Not a huge store but has all the usual supermarket items. Parking can be busy and tight.

  • Charles Hense

This is my local supermarket and it's fantastic. The staff are great and I visit several times a week.

  • Chris Ace

It's well stocked and fairly convenient but parking is becoming an issue. Need more car park spaces.
