It's the Metro version of the Woolworths, so a smaller, more localised setup. What this place brings contrary to the IGA almost next door is a visibility and openness in interior design that makes shopping easier and a bit more relaxed. It's not a one-stop shop all supermarket but great to pick up the bits and pieces that the local butchers, greengrocers and specialty stores in Yarraville Village don't have, without having to visit the mega Coles a few blocks away.

Chicken tenderloins expiring 17.11.22(woolworths rspca pack) smelt of Bleach. I contacted the store to advise and staff member offered money back as solution, rather than offer to remove out of fridge. I expressed it was a health alert/contamination possibility and only then did the staff member say "so do you want me to remove them from sale?"Hmmm....

The price of discounted items often scans at full price here. Staff have little knowledge of the Scanning Code of Practice and will only offer to acknowledge the code with persistent argument by the customer. I really don’t understand how it’s so difficult to price items correctly and then honour your own policies when you make a mistake!

Unlike the other locals, I'm happy to see some competition open in the space. IGA Seddon and Yarraville are both highly overpriced, and whilst I prefer to buy from the local Butcher and Greengrocer, this fills store fills the gaps for everything else so that I don't need to head to Yarraville Coles.

They refuse to take any cash. I so hope they go broke. They have lost all of my custom and hopefully every person I remember to tell about this. They were the most expensive with the least choice previously. Safeway get out of Yarraville!!

Fantastic place, with fantastic friendly staff. I highly recommend you shop here, even if it's a bit out of your way,you won't be disappointed, you will enjoy your experience and return again, just like me.

This store honestly has the friendliest and most helpful staff that I have ever encountered in a grocery store. They consistently greet customers, and are polite and cheerful. 10/10 …

There drinks, tissues, sandwiches, hot food, frozen food, snacks, necessities, bread, fruit and other things though it’s small. There is self-payment service.
