Poorly Trained and Rude Call Centre Staff... I'd like to close my store card account. I have a store account with woolies, it was in a positive balance but all of a sudden started getting charged account fees which it did not in the past while in a positive balance. Please can you assist with closing my account. Please Improve Training for call centre staff Mishke & Caylin In summary it took me 15 minutes on the call for them to simply tell me I need to contact Blake & Associates regarding my store account, this feels excessively long. 1. The call centre staff speak so fast with an accent in a way that makes it very difficult to hear what they are saying, I assume this is caused by them saying the same thing multiple times but you should train them to be aware of this, because they are clearly not, instead they get impatient when I ask them to repeat themselves. 2. Your call centre agent Mishke kept me on hold for 5+ minutes while she "checks the account", I don't know if this was because she was making coffee or what but she claimed the system was very slow, but the previous employee I spoke to that transferred me to her was able to check my account in less than 30 seconds so I don't believe the system was slow... If you have cameras in the centre please check what she was doing during the call. 3. When keeping a customer on hold you give a time for example 60 seconds , you then come back after 60 seconds and can inform them that the system is slow after which you ask if they could hold for a further 2 minutes or so... This is VERY basic call centre etiquette which you should have taught your team. Please listen to the call centre recording I had with Caylin & Mishke at 08:19 for 15 minutes, I don't believe this aligns with the level of service woolies wants to portray. I asked Mishke if Blake & Accosiates who I was asked to call can also assist me with closing the account to which Mishke responded yes, but in fact they confirmed that they can't assist me with that... So did she just say yes to get me off the phone or what? No man Woolworths... you can do better than this...

And after recent news all your essentials whoolworths food is the cheapest out of all the big retailers in SA, with them always deliver on quality household shopping comes with a luxurious feel that's softer on your wallet with everyone thinking you are a fancy pants. With your fancy pants you got in store, while browsing the home department and doing a complete room make over in your head with everything there to pick from. Signing up for the rewards program is definitely promising and some of the proseeds are going to good causes. I like going there.

Loved it. It's way bigger than all the Woolworth's in Tanzania combined. I particularly like Woolworth's foods and I'm super excited about the sale going on! The clothing, shoes, accessories etc is definitely of a higher quality than some of the other clothing stores, so you're guaranteed what you purchase will take you a long way. Bought some scented soap, leather sandals for me and a pair of leather shoes for mum. I also got a number of tops at more than half price. Going back again for a leather handbag I spotted last time.

I must commend Boledi Polanka - she was the most extraordinarily helpful, informative and kind person. Together with her colleague from the Lancôme counter, they made such a positive impression upon me. Ms Polanka in particular took time to explain WRewards to me in detail - in a very literal sense, she made a difference. She is a tribute to the Woolworths brand in general and the Sandton City store in particular.

Woolworths sandton is wherewithal do most of my shopping as I stay a walking distance from the shopping center.the place is ideal ,the atmosphere soothing and calming,the staff very friendly and professional.I would recommend it to those who enjoy shopping freedom where you can be assured that no-one is going to hassle you pricewise.I give the place not two, not three but a whopping five fat lips.mwaaa

Great initiative they are doing on jean designs with Tivhani. However, the RE jeans and tees have changed over the yeard. Wish someone could tell them that some things must not be altered. Maybe its the changing of fashion designers. Very peril to the customer. Stop changing our mens' clothing in the RE section. Your roundnecks are rejects and we now wear v_necks which are a bit better.

Woolies Now Now Sandton City Woolies have opened a new healthy food store called now now 1. Food is healthly and delicious 2. Staff was amazing 3. Menu is huge 4. smoothies are great 5. Great healthy option in Sandton 6. Seating is limited , so when its busy getting a table is a problem I highly recommend it as you can have a healthy , delicious meal in sandton city

Be careful when shopping at Woolworths Sandton City. My phone was stolen in the food section. The shocking thing is that when I reported it to Woolworths staff- I was told that I was the second victim as someone else’s phone was also stolen at or about the same time. What was disappointing is the the lack of support and assistance from Woolworths staff and security.

There is a lady nby the name of Mqobile from Beauty who needs training on customer service. My sister and I were looking for curtains and we asked her to assist , Firstly she was dismissive and gave us attitude which we immediately called her out with it. She then said she doesn't work in the home dep so she cant help,and walked away.

Woolies food used to always be an unexpected surprise in how delicious and tasty the food was. This is definitely no longer the case. I thought it may have just been the Benmore branch but Sandton is equally disappointing. We will not be wasting cheat days or money on Woollies restaurants any time soon.

I mainly go to WW for the food as its the best quality you will find in S.A. The white hot chocolate at the WW dining area is just amazing. The service is also not anything to complain about. They could be tested when it's a busy time, but for their white hot choc I guess one can let this slide

I visited the store today - it was busy, large and a bit overwhelming - but I experienced really terrific customer service from Woolworths employee BUSISIWE MAJOLA. She was attentive, informed, super-helpful. Thanks Busi for making my shopping at Woolworths a pleasant experience :-)

Again. Dash. But also Woolworths in general. Order was never delivered, yet I was charged full amount. Call centre does not work (number disconnects immediately) and emails provide no feedback. Extremely disappointed in this deplorable lack of care from a brand I used to trust.

W NOW NOW , Located in the food court, offer lots of great lunch options that are healthier than the others (ie green vegetables options available in place of starch). The portions are sizable for the price point and quality. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

I couldn't find my size at two woolworths stores and at Sandton Zameka in the clothing section (by jeans) made a real effort to find a pair of shorts in my size and found the last pair in the store room! I am so happy! Woolworths always delivers! Thank you Zameka

Their deli area is awesome. Nice selection of eateries for lunch or a quick snack. Bbq chicken is divine, and they always have specials on their chicken strips, mini pies, especially chicken. Coffee area is lovely as well. A must have when in Woolies

Sandton is a very conducive environment. Good road connections, it has many hotels and nice spots. I visited the Mandela's Mall where I did some shopping and also had a nice time at Saint Lounge. I lodged at Hilton hotel during my stay.

Woolworth is a department store with a good clothing section and the second largest supermarket in Sandton City. The selection of sandwiches and bakery goods are very nice. The grocery items seem to be a little more selected at all.

It's a great store to buy foods, meat and veggies. But their kitchen tools horribly bad quality. After spending over R400 you can all see the quality of this Wok. I only used for 3 times. I don't recommend this products to anyone.

The reason I rate them high is because of the service my wife received for the staff at the cosmetic department. In their service they went way above and beyond what most people experience in South Africa. Very well done ladies.

This is the place for all premium shopping. However, I gave it a 4 star rating because of the lack or limited signage for directions which would be very useful for any first-timer. Overall, the restaurent sells great food.

Most Woolworths branches are clean and don't have spoiled stuff on the fridge shelves, except this one. These peaches had green stuff as on the picture. A bit disappointed. Hopefully they correct this.

Decent variety, biggest store, staff is generally there to assist. The food section always has the friendliest cashiers. Added bonus is their longer operating hours :)

Long queues at the checkout during peak hours. Not enough cashiers are available. The manager was running around looking for the cashiers. It's very frustrating!

It’s a pleasant Woolworths store. One problem is getting down from the top floor to the bottom by the escalator. Finding the down escalator is not intuitive.

Rude hot food staff today. Simply ignored me for almost 2 minutes and didn't bother to greet. When I was eventually served it was at a glacial pace.

They have a connect counter for cellular requirements. There is unfortunately no service there, the staff ignore customers or are unwilling to help.

They always have nicer stuff compared to the other woolies, also love the fact that their in store card buys Country Road Group stuff, amazing.
