It was a casual Sunday night, I was stumbling through the endless isles of Somerville Woolworths in a desperate search for some Ice Magic chocolate flavour. After what seems like hours of failure, I stumble upon my much needed ice cream topping. The realisation that only choc mint flavour remains sent me into a state of severe depression. All seemed lost until… a warm hand embraced me. I spin around to see my knight in shining armour, Lachlan Sanderson, Somerville Woolworths representative. With a swift but gentle motion, the man wiped away my tears and set off on a great adventure through the dangerous land he called “out the back” to find what was most desirable to me. I left Somerville Woolworths with Ice Magic Chocolate flavour in hand, and a big smile on my face. Lachlan Sanderson is a hero of the ages, and must be commemorated for his bravery.

Typical Safeway store but larger than others locally. Wasn't too busy. The dairy case looked horrendous & just why is the pick-up collections area way closer than disabled parking in your store allocations parking? Self-serve was open, I choose to deal with real ppl, cause I don't work for Woolworths so not going to scan and bag my stuff if don't get the 5% staff discount like employees. The staff is always friendly but shelves & stock can take a while to be refilled. Why is your store so called & employees in puffer jackets?

I generally avoid this shop as they photograph and film you at the self serve checkouts. If it's not bad enough that they don't pack your bags, supply bags or do your checkout, now they don't just stand there watching you like you're a theif, but now they film you as well. Coles do not do this so l intend to favour Coles for that reason.

No longer seem to stock anything I want. All the shelf space is taken over by home brand clones of big brands but both only have space for the duplicates of best sellers, never what I want any more. Today, I walked out empty handed from both Somerville and Prahran Woolies and went to Coles but it's not much better, I only got one thing.

Hats off to all on the checkouts who were on the front line during pandemic. Without these lady's we would have not had food. Remember people that they went so long without face masks and copped abuse for being helpful. Thank you all Somerville Woolworths Staff!!!! …

I was in Somerville today and thought I'd go into Woolworth while I was there... haven't been there for a while. Store looks like it's been upgraded... however... unless I shop at my regular place and prices have gone up... it just seemed like they where more expensive …

I like this better than Coles around the corner. Plenty of Parking, good selections and I have never had an issue with the fresh produce and I am a fen of the self serve checkouts. Great that they are leading the way and going plastic bag free in june.

was asked to show the contents of my bag in pretty rude way, in the self check out on 15/12/2022 at around 9, a bunch of other customer just walk out without being asked. felt kinda of angry about the whole issue, think stick to coles from now on.

Always find what I need. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Cashiers there to put groceries through and bag them you don't have to use self serve and they are not pushing for this to happen.Easy to get cash out and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Great service! Plenty of shade sail parking & a variety of shops, cafès etc surrounding. Carpark is very uneven so pushing a loaded trolley can be very difficult. I am sure though if you asked for help at Woolies they would help you to your car.

The staff are rude especially the person bringing in the trolleys, he's actually hit me twice, I've had enough and won't be shopping there any more, he also said to my daughter that he would be watching her and her friend while they shopped.

Beautiful little town ship Somerville for shop you had a great day and a fantastic coffee in a coffee shop over there be able to give a TattsLotto spent 2 hours there I would recommend people go there for somewhere different

If you're able to shop before 5.00 pm you should find most items you're looking for, if you work long hours the delicatessen will be closed at 7.00 pm and the fruit and vegetable department is often bare of many items.

Awesome upgrade with the covered parking. Definitely better late than never. It's just makes that whole area more complete. I'm loving the savings you get generally from here too compared to Coles and sometimes Aldi.

Flynn and the team were exceptional in assisting me with a complex request last night. Given that I train people in client care, the level of care and interest they all showed cannot be trained. Well done team!

Very pleasant staff specially the young generation at self checkouts,, helpful and friendly.. I was always a coles customer but the WW staff has makes the difference,, now I’m a WW customer,, good store too

I bought a tray of cookies and they were all rock solid. they were chewy and i found a toe nail in my cookie! up your game woolies you need to man up! because coles is better and i stand by that!

Love shopping at woolies Somerville! Everything you need also the ANZ bank, post office, chemist in the same area. Coles and Aldi not far away either. Somerville is a great place to shop.

Staff are friendly and many have been there since the opening of ‘safeway’ many years ago. Great store layout and I find the selection extensive compared to competitors in the area

There's always parking close to the entry whether I'm doing a large shop or dropping in for a couple of things.The staff are great and more than happy to help...

I don't find the fruit & veg as fresh as could be. Store is old & run down and dark inside. However it does have most of what you need from a supermarket.

Fresh produce and a good selection of groceries are the norm in all Woolworths stores as is great customer service. Big carpark is easy to get around.

Temperature controlled, fresh produce, polite staff, and general cleanliness and quality of goods mark this store as one of the best in its chain.

Big fan of woolies I feel they have a better range of products and more friendly than the opposition do your self a favour and judge for yourself

Exceptionally tidy. Roomy isles and the fresh food actually looked edible. Made Frankston and Karingal Woolworths look like absolute garbage

I bought a bottle of Tabasco sauce it’s said it was barely hot so I put heaps on my eggs and now I have a 3rd degree burn on my tounge

My favorite store I love it and I shop there very clean and the prawns are always very fresh and customer service are excellent Grace

Woolworths Somerville is a great store to shop at. The staff are always helpful and friendly and I can get the products that I like.

Deli section has limited choices and not very appealing. Smaller than average fruit and veg, not very encouraging to Shop there.

I am rating purely on service as I was blown away by the service of Isabelle yesterday she went above and beyond to help me.

This is definitely a great supermarket. Prices are good. Parking is adequite. But no crowds. Worth the trip from Frankston.

Good experience, trolleys being cleaned, social distancing observed..cashiers using hand sanitizer between customers....

Woolworth stores are fantastic, very helpful when needing to avoid using teller machines that charge for withdrawals.

Staff are what makes Woolies Somerville special they are always willing to help and rarely a wait at the cashier's
