"I shopped on 21/05/23"
"I have been a consistent customer of this grocery store and what occurred today was absolutely disgusting and shocking"
"To be honest I do get my things here"
"During my visit, the store was clean and well presented, although it is noted to be a smaller-sized Woolworths; subsequently, the Victoria Harbour store does not have the full range of products available as those available at larger Woolworths stores (the baked goods amd baked desserts section, for example, was quite limited comparative to larger stores)"
"I went to buy few things after work, a blonde curly hair like cashier, before scaned the lamb the l got and she looked at me and say but this is $11 maybe she thought I it was too expensive for me kinda look down on me ,but igot this some times, I meet a lot of shallow customer serve people when i want to buy want something they they just assume you can't afford it because of the way I look , they think am black and poor, it's sad to see shallow customer service people, I felt offended but still feel sorry for employees that think of people like that"
I shopped on 21/05/23. I saw the laundry liquid on sale which is 1/2 price, so I purchased one, after paying for that, I checked the receipt shows I paid for original price. Then I checked the shelf again, ane found that only the liquid with softener is on sale, others are not, but all the liquid is on the same shelf which says half price. So I tried to find a staff to ask for refund, the lady told me I can only do exchange, cannot do refund, so even I replace to the discount one, I still need to purchase something to cover the rest of money. I told her it's because some workers put the item on wrong shelf with wrong price tag, then she blame on me it's all my fault because I didn't check the price tag and gave me attitude. I felt like it's kind of cheating on customer, and there's no way that I cannot do the refund for this.
I have been a consistent customer of this grocery store and what occurred today was absolutely disgusting and shocking. I bought a few bottles of juice and decided to exchange them for another type of juice and the staff completely denied this request. The bottles were unopened with the receipt intact, this was a clear betrayal of customer service policy and I was astonished to how rudely they handled my situation. The staff were not at all helpful and were blatantly impolite to me. I think the staff and managers at Woolworths must be more accommodating towards their customers, specially regulars such as myself because I own a restaurant nearby. It was a humiliating moment and I hope no other customers go through such a process in the future.
To be honest I do get my things here. The only thing I don't like is compared to other Woolworths or Coles specially is the brightness and house keeping. My son once picked a. Title of pasta sauce and kept it at some other aisle and to my surprise that remained there for like 3 weeks ,which gives me a feeling as if no one working there saw that for 3 weeks. How is that possible. It was kept right in front in Indian section with other Indian stuff. And for 3 weeks the pasta sauce bottle was lying there. Also K don't know the reason but I think the truck comes in the opening so if you want fresh veggies then morning time is the best to go. Evening almost all of the veggies are finished or withered.
During my visit, the store was clean and well presented, although it is noted to be a smaller-sized Woolworths; subsequently, the Victoria Harbour store does not have the full range of products available as those available at larger Woolworths stores (the baked goods amd baked desserts section, for example, was quite limited comparative to larger stores). The store still has all of the essentials and then some, and a small but adequate variety of ready made snacks available for an on-the-go lunch. The store also boasts both self-serve and staff-manned checkouts, which were efficient during my visit.
I went to buy few things after work, a blonde curly hair like cashier, before scaned the lamb the l got and she looked at me and say but this is $11 maybe she thought I it was too expensive for me kinda look down on me ,but igot this some times, I meet a lot of shallow customer serve people when i want to buy want something they they just assume you can't afford it because of the way I look , they think am black and poor, it's sad to see shallow customer service people, I felt offended but still feel sorry for employees that think of people like that
Omg what happened to this place. Before the district Woolworths opened this was my go to supermarket. I attended after 10pm Sunday night as my local was closed and could not believe the state of this place. It stunk, looked dirty, there were items all over the place. What was once a fresh clean and tidy supermarket has now become the ghetto supermarket on the corner with inflated prices and no variety. Sorry to say but this place is the last supermarket I would go to in cbd. Coles spencer or the district are much nicer places to shop!
Zero toilets open on public holiday 11.6.18. very poorly designed (like the rest of Docklands). Such a drama just to park and get to this supermarket. No trolleys available at the store so just got a few items instead of a big shop. To top it off they attempted to charge me $45 for less than 2 hours when the sign stated $10. Buzzed security who reset the price to $10. I wonder how many others they're conning into paying more for parking? We won't be back to Docklands at all.
We always shop here and very good place. But today when billing in self service there was a rude customer representation taking our basket away and shouting near us saying next waiting next waiting to show us we are delaying. We had a lot to purchase and were splitting the items. We even saw him signal to another colleague about us. This happened today evening around 6.00pm. Hope this does not happen again.
Just walk out after shopping This is not woolis I usually go to but I try today here and the lady who service was horrible. I just asked if she can check my reward card for me but rudely ignored and say can’t. She could politely say she can’t rather then look down on me and make me feel worse than before I walked in! Management should not just trained how to display goods but also how to bloody talk
It's a good Woolies with lots of fresh produce and a decent range, deserves the 5th star because it is a slightly smaller store than one of your larger stores so makes it hard to stock all the items that we get used to seeing on the shelves but by saying that, a full stars for doing a pretty good job with what they've got. It's never too busy or packed and kinda has a real local feel about it..
This Woolworth stocks a lot of Indian groceries which are decently priced and are cheaper compared to the nearby Indian grocery stores which are in the same vicinity. It’s a smaller store compare to other woollies but it still stocks the essentials. Parking gets validated if you purchased more than $15. This store makes it very convenient for the people to shop who live nearby.
Good selection of products and easy to navigate around. Staff are very friendly, and have great customer service. A customer in front of us was having some issues, and although it looked to be a stressful situation for the staff, they all handled it with grace. Would definitely shop there again, I am just visiting Melbourne for a week, but will keep it in mind for my next trip.
Limited checkouts - all next to each other and not spaced apart. Wear a mask as this is not good for covid safety. (either management complacency on covid or insufficient staff to open and space more check-outs, the staff said). This was during pandemic. Now, still a bizarre way of closing customer scanners. Very few staff show that they're enjoying their workplace.
So this Woolworths is slightly different from most, it's elevated on one side that you can access through a lift and stairs whilst on the other it's connected to a small food court on ground level. It's fairly similar to your standard Woolworths in terms or what they stock. It doesn't have that many check outs by staff any more, it's just all self check outs now.
Unorganized and low quality produce. Nuts are not in the nuts aisle, they are in the dried fruits section (which includes canned chicken?) a couple of aisles over. This is just one example of a number of items that are not where they belong according to the overhead labels. I may have bad luck, but I have bought fruit from here that is rotten on the inside.
This used to be a good store but it has gone downhill even before Omicron started. There isn't enough staff around to for service and the security staff will lie to get you to go away. The self disservice machines don't work properly (last time I tried to use one it required intervention three times before I could complete my order of a handful of items)
Parking is a nightmare to find on the street during the week days. The price of the undercover parking below the store is charged at a ridiculous fee which is why the under ground parking is completely empty. You might want reconsider free parking to the store shopper's to attract more customers as there is plenty of empty parking underneath the centre.
Not the greatest selection of products (you'd still want to visit a larger store once in a while to get the more obscure items) but they have all the essentials down pat. Stock levels can be a little all over the shop, particularly mid-week but isn't normally too much of a problem. This place has become my go to for the quick shop at the end of the day
Witnessed a manager, a small Indian dude raising his voice at employees and over heard him say ‘SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME’ ! Extremely unacceptable! I wasn’t the only one who complained as a few other customers had witnessed it too! I have a child too! Unprofessional and its the last time i go back there! I can’t stand poor treatment of workers!
This Woolworths has a great selection and is very closer to the city. It has plenty of parking underneath and easy street access if you happen to walk. It is much larger than a normal city store or Woolworths express with a great variety of goods on the shelf. It's location is fantastic for all those who work or live in Victor Harbour.
4.5 Quite exhaustive options available for shopping. Conveniently located sections makes it easy for picking stuff you need quickly. Specially for Indians, since there is a dedicated section for Indian food. Staff are very friendly. They have sufficient number of billing counters, so you hardly get to wait in the queue. …
It's location isn't immediately visually obvious, but once you walk down Merchant Street it is easy to find from the walkway! It is also has a very comprehensive range of products, including including fresh foods. The if you are in Docklands and looking for food or general goods, you may it is definitely worth a visit!
Clean, well situated and convenient, with some of the friendliest staff in a supermarket I've ever encountered. Free undercover parking if you buy more than $35 worth, and rasonable amounts of free on-street parking late and weekends. Only negatives are a it's relatively small size & the silly pay-trolleys.
Staff blocking aisles with trolleys makes impossible to get past and they seem clueless to the presence of customers. Food is ridiculously expensive (cheaper at the QV Market) and quality of fresh produce is very poor. Check carefully before purchasing and look for mould on strawberries and raspberries.
Big woolworths store. Lots of products. Wide isles plenty of space. Relaxed atmosphere. Never hard to shop here even on a friday afternoon, doesnt get hectic busy like other supermarkets in the city precinct. Close to tram stop. Easy to walk to and close to docklands library and bubbles laundromat.
While the selection of items is satisfactory, there are long wait times when checking out, because there are not enough tills. I suppose visiting at a time just after the end of the work day might explain some of the busy checkouts, but to me it looks like a solvable problem - just add more tills.
One of the worst woolworthsi have ever shopped in. Always running out of stock. Food not always fresh. Not enough variety. Cater predominately for Asian and Indians The staff are just lovely. They have to put up with so many rude horrible people. This supermarket needs a HUGE revamp!!!
This is the ideal place where we can purchase All types of edible items, both veggies and non veggies, including milk and milk products and bakery items , various types of biscuits One can purchase Frozen yogurt and veggies also. One can purchase groceries and stationary items also.
It would be nice to visit the store and see everyone in a mask, i dont visit often, maybe once a week but i can ALWAYS find at least one team member without a mask, they don't check Vaccine status either. There have also been a couple of times i get home to find items out of date!
Absolutely love this one. My whole survival depends on this super market. As a resident of docklands, this is the best one where you could find pretty much most of the stuff. Big, spacious and has almost everything needed on a day to day basis. Service is pretty good too.
Full size Woolworths with fresh Deli products and whole Asian and Indian food section including fresh paneer. Staff is good. With BWS. This Woolworths is attached to a food court with an Asian sushi and fresh fish store as well as a Brazilian coffee and food kitchen.
It’s a normal woolies aka Woolworth, the biggest feature is its location. It’s inside the office area, you can easily walk during your lunch time to buy groceries. Also this place has some eateries for a quick bite. Overtime I find it nice and approachable.
The team member at checkout was rude for a list of items which obviously takes time. He did not wear a name badge. Hope the store see this review and teach the employees about customer service. Jan 19 2021, 6.15 pm Have experienced this multiple times.
Fairly decent and one of the few options in Docklands for good value food. Great for lunch without blowing the budget. Roast chicken quarters is popular with lunch time crowd. Sandwiches or the ingredients if you want. Breakfast and last minute items
As a tourist I stayed near by this place. Great selection of produce even though I went there later afternoon on a Saturday XD lots of local products. I bought steak potatoes dessert and bunch of fruit for 4 people and it only cost about 50 bucks!
This is the 6 time experienced with Woolies in Docklands where I got expired item and this happened before many times.. this time I had dead worms in semolina. This is so awful for some reason due to something this store in Victoria Harbour
There are many options available for office staff for snacks and lunch meals. But there is still huge variety that is offered by small retailers and competitors that victoria harbour woolies can add on its shelf. Hoping to see that too soon.
Honestly, this is the worst Woolworths I’ve seen in years. I can’t even calculate the number of times we had to go back to replace rotten fruits, mouldy berries, or veggies; you don’t want to see their “fresh” produce shelf by the end of
This is a very well stocked supermarket. While it is not that big I'm size, its range of goods is greater than the Woolsworth at St Kilda. Folks doing short stays in Dockside need only head to this place for all necessities and more.
We used to live there, been shopping there all the time. The place is also good for office workers to refill afternoon snacks. Tends to get a little crowded during lunch time, but never had to wait for more than 5min in the queue
They have a wide variety of items, however they rarely have properly ripe avocados and they charge $3 for each avocado! I had to look through like 50 avocados to find one ripe enough to make this delicious sandwich for my lunch.
This Woolworths seems like it only gets stocked with the items and produce that other Woolworths stores couldn’t sell. Even the flowers they get in are already half dead. Disappointing for a store in such a great location.
Not as small as a metro woollies but not one of the bigger stores. Alot more Asian products available here some really interesting products I've never seen at other woollies... Zooper Dooper flavoured milk anyone?
Typical Woolworths store except at rush hour midday (office workers rush) all staff are on the tills. Great, no queues. Chocolate specials seem to vary week by week starting Wednesdays... So choose you weeks :)
As I walked in to shop was approached by staff member and asked if I needed any assistance, I stated that I need trolley and the staff member went out of his way to find a trolley for me, very good service
Food selection ok …. Fresh fruit and veg however meat selection pretty rubbish also doesn’t have a international section that caters for English and other food only Asian. Ok to get a few bits.
This is a large proper sized Woolworths with everything you would expect to find from a large supermarket. I cannot comment on parking as I visit it by foot from my workplace. Has a good vibe.
Very good supermarket will all items. Spacious with courteous staff. Located near to offices like NAB, Infosys etc.. There is also BWS.. Often gets good discount on roasted chicken after 6pm
Good woolies. Smaller than ones in suburbs but good enough for a CBD. Trollies are mostly locked and need a coin which can be annoying. Escalators aren't working for the past few months too
MY WORST WOOLWORTHS EXPERIENCE EVER This Woollies has bad service, checkout staff who *slam* your items into the bag and who seem like they would much rather be anywhere else than at work!
Average store where you will get all of your daily necessities food and goods. Having Indian section too but you should be proactive that get empty very soon. You can try cakes from here..
Free parking, cleanest shopping experience in Melbourne.Great range, friendly staff.I live in the City, better here than suburb shopping centres.Even the toilets are modern and sparkling.
Conveniently located for those working in the Docklands, and always relatively well stocked. Would appreciate some more gluten free lunch choices but they do have options so all good.
Fresh veggies are available throughput. Better outlet than most woolies outlets across suburbs. The bakery section is also good. Every other aisles are standard across all woolies.
It is a standard grocery store, not huge but has enough...good selection of fruits and vegetables and decent dry goods as well. A bit pricey compared to other supermarket chains
Poor fresh food products and often not probably restocked. Disappointed. Should monitor poor customer behaviours. Any Karens there, coughing while walking past other customers.
Wide variety of household things with groceries veggies fruits and many more... included Indian food items too... enjoy the dairy products..they have added the indian section
Chaos! Can run out of some of the fresh bread early but fruit and veg seemed okay - pause to look at something for a moment and get stampeded as the lanes are very narrow!
A very convenient Woolies and friendly staff , if you want to avoid the crowds plan your shopping early in the mornings , has a car park too to make shopping more easy.
Various varieties of food are available, Spacious, near to Tram Stop, Logical arrangement of food, Less waiting time, Helping Staff, never had any issue with quality.
Is there Halal certified food in Woolworths? We love shopping from Woolworths Docklands but we need more diversity, please. Thanks for Turkish breads and snacks..
It is very conveniently located and one of the favourite supermarkets in this area. Here, I usually find things that I need, so I come here often for groceries.
Convenient location for residents of Docklands. You will get most of the daily items you need. Also there is free parking above purchases of 15$ for 90 mins.
It’s very big Woolworth and have different variety of products. I were able to find Indian grocery there too cheap price as compared to other Indian store.
Fav woolies store for purchasing groceries and required items. Very big and most products I have seen available at this store than other I have been too.
Surely it be if the best stores in this area, many carparks available at all time and it never gets too busy like some of the other stores in the city.
By the end of the day, they are all generally sold out on items like breads, pastas etc. Rest all is good, have a decent selection of South Asian items!
Nestled inside the rows of eateries. I didn't know this existed. Pretty handy for after or lunch time shopping if you need to grab something for home.
Good small accessible Woolies with everything we need for a full shop. Not too busy either. A bit dated. New Fisherman's Bend Woolies gets my 5 stars
Multiple staff not wearing masks. Customers were, but very sad and disappointing that at least 3 staff had no masks and others not wearing properly.
Nice place to stock up groceries. Reasonably priced items and the store is usually scarcely crowded. Much better option than convenience stores.
Fresh produce & salad selection is far superior to the Southern Cross Coles. Also cleaner & less traffic. Very pleasant shopping experience.
Freshest fruit with beautiful crispy crunch there. All their berries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries were fresh, fresh, fresh x
My local supermarket. Good selection and never too busy. So glad they opened a few years ago. Still feels new, is clean and well stocked.
The deli choice of food has basically gone! Plus they have reduced the hours as well! Staff are rude and they reply back to your email
Good range of Indian ingredients. Well stocked to serve the locals. Gets busy around lunchtime when office workers come out to shop
Only go here if I have to. Consistently harassed by some sort of charity hawker out the front most times I go there. Off putting.
Open 7am-11pm Some shelves missing items but relatively well stocked Friendly staff always happy to help when asked questions
Good place, one of the Woolworths that have Indian groceries. It's NOT metro so prices are more cheaper than southern cross.
I find everything I need for my shopping. Staff very kind and helpful. A lot of prices are cut off. A very convenient place.
Good size Woolworth, u will get everything here, great location too! A good variety and delicious bakery and deli products.
Lucky to have a large supermarket close by. Would love a few more ‘out of the ordinary’ items (and more vegan options)
Almost all of my grocery needs are here...very convenient for me. The store in front of the store serves nice cofee..
Lot of Indian foods including yoghurt and Idli Dosa batter. Very convenient. Parking at EXO car park makes it easy.
In Melbourne and bought a heap of food at Woolworths at Victoria Harbour. Bws attached. Great times they are open
Staff I’ve met here are so helpful. This store has really impressed me with there happy helpful service.
I got throat infection after eating chocolate mini donut, will not recommend them to anyone.
Very crammed during lunch time how ever it's flowing with no long waits during check out.
Nice and new Woolies with a great, up to date, high quality organic section for customers.
Moderately sized.Fulfills our daily needs quite well.Open till 11pm.
Great close to our apartment. Nice local produce. Nice and fresh.
Loved it. Brilliant convenience store. Had everything I wanted.
As far a Woolies goes it's a nice one …
Great location with fresh produce.
