Supermarket
"Very dissapointed in the website"
"Fruit and veggies not the freshest or best compared to supermarkets closer towards central Melbourne"
"This woolworths has to be the worst of them all"
"You'd think there was a national shortage of gold coins"
"Can't fault this shop"
Very dissapointed in the website. I always look up their website to see if they have the things I want to purchase in stock, because I am not going to make the effort of going to woolworths for a couple of items if it's not in stock. I put in the area code and 8 x out of 10 times it shows the product is in stock. So I make the trip to the supermarket and it's never in stock, I check with staff as well just in case they haven't had the chance to restock. I can't see the point in having this function on the website if it is wrong. Only 1 star so I could post this comment.
Fruit and veggies not the freshest or best compared to supermarkets closer towards central Melbourne. Can't always get the same variety as other supermarkets closer in and even if there is a demand for a product, if central office in Sydney don't think it matches our demographic (which they decide despite our local diversity) they won't supply it (this is what I've been told when enquiring). I do like our local service though which is down to our quality young (and less young) people.
This woolworths has to be the worst of them all. They need some competition and then they might lift their game. It is small and they do not stock adequately to meet the customers needs. Yarra junction needs a better alternative. Staff are complacent and often rude but can you blame them having to work in a store that you could not be proud of. Come on woolies treat those who live here with some respect. An affluent area does not have substandard stores so why should we.
You'd think there was a national shortage of gold coins. Cant get more than 5 $1 coins at a time there. Even after being polite and asking nicely for $10 worth of dollar coins i was rudely told cant do, only $5 max. Obviously too hard for a big chain like woolworths to stock up a bit more on rolls of gold coins for customers who just want to use the dryers or washing machines at the laundromat. If there was a coles or aldi in junction id go there rather than here
Can't fault this shop. Customer service, presentation, questions for help, products and availability it top notch. I only come here when I visit a mate but if I could give them 10 stars I would. Always clean, always respectful and always ready to help. Sometimes I think goes to show the country folk do, do it better. I am happy with every single visit.
I was quite happy with the service and prices however when I got home I brought some chicken kebab for our dinner and noticed that I had been overcharged for a different item should of been around $5.00 however the price was $19. 90 for some pork pie which I didn't purchase I will be ringing the store to complain about it
For a relatively BUSH woolies, the food range is top notch! The self service checkout is full of the newest top of the line tech and is a great store for a quick stop. I think the young fella that served me was named Pat, and his service was impeccable! (especially when technology fails me HAHAHA).
Apart from being light on some products, only real fault i can find is they make way to much toast bread, about half toast, half sandwich and 70% of the toast is left there each day unsold. Other than that friendly staff, good service unless you ask for ham freshly sliced to your preference haha
Lovely staff After yesterday i couldn't be more proud of our local business. Having epilepsy for years. Ive never had a fit in public. The boss (chris)and one of his staff looked after me until help came. I felt safe and so did my girls. I really don't know how to that you enough. Love you all
The fresh fruit and vegetable area is always so clean and tidy. There is always plenty of vegetables and fruit stocked. I asked a member named Josh for help and he was very kind and helped me find what I was looking for while asking me how my day was. Very happy with the customer service.
Just a country bumpkin Woolies. Staff are very friendly except for one who works in the deli area, where she looked like she just had a miscarriage or something made me feel miserable and didn't want to buy anything from the deli, but there are other girls who work there are very nice.
I was served by a young lady named chloe, she did everything perfect! She put the milk on top of my bread, she packed the roast chicken with the cold stuff and she even squashed my watermelon. All that and service with a smile! I will be going through her register every time :)
I was coming down from don valley looking forward to get some woolies groceries and as I was checking out a man with the name of Acelin walks over to me and starts sniffing my hair and walks away like nothing happened. Chips were at a good price though …
Have shopped at this Woolworths for 11+ years as a local. Yes it’s small and therefore the ranges are limited but the food is good quality etc. and it’s staffed in general by friendly and helpful locals. I will continue to shop here for the foreseeable future.
The Woolworths is fine itself. Yarra junction people are just weird though. Bringing down my vibe. Customer base scary. Please remedy (PS, selection is also not very wide, find myself looking for products they just don’t stock here) …
Same as other Woolies. But the home brand milk with the drought relief is mostly on the 3 litre milk. Only sometimes on the 2 litre milk. This forces me to buy the 3 litre bottle because I want to help. Intentional to sell more 3 litre bottles?
Im asking the same question again as woolworths hasnt had the decency to reply. I would like to know why woolworths continues to incteaset prices every week or so on ciggarettes knowing full well how addictive this product is..... Regards Joan
better than coles 100% I got really good quality stuff from here such as Bluetooth headphones and notebooks it's a great grocery store as well and usually has what you need even if it's an exotic ingredient it's usually hidden there somewhere
Staff member accused customers of shoving them, when they only bumped them while reaching for something that they were standing near while gossiping to another person. Staff member wouldn't accept an apology just turned their back on them.
Good for basic shopping needs; it's a supermarket that's definitely appreciated. However, a trip to Seville is needed for anything that little more fancy. Tip: Avoid the carpark, if possible, unless you aren't fussed about car damage.
Deli lady told me I can't have the salami I wanted, I could only have the precut stuff off a different type I didn't want as there were others waiting. Didn't rescind this one another staff member showed up to serve either.
Very convenient location with lots of free parking. Store is well set up with plenty of room. All Staff are always helpful and friendly. Range of products are great and fruit and veg beautifully presented and plentiful.
Pretty good considering it's one of their smaller stores. There was one staff member who was terrific She knew where items were and was directly customer s to the quickest checkouts. Sorry I didn't get her name.
Went for lunch... food was really nice, though it was a shame they werent serving vegies with their main meals... food quality was very good and the wait staff were prompt and polite... just as i remember!
this shop more and more disappoints me.You can never find the brands you want. It is becoming just a store for woolies home brands. if there was a competitor in the area we would never shop here.
Worst service tonight at any woolworths. Tried to talk to the supervisor, they ate obviously not interested in listening. Interrupted my sentences and wondered why I was "heightened "
Since renovating and updating this older supermarket, it is far better than it used to be. Although not a big supermarket, they don't have a complete range of stock, such as Seville.
The store is relatively small but seems to have most of everything, service is always a little question with the checkout help...some are friendly and some are quite ride and pushy.
Went to the bakery in the arcade not Woolworth shop. Bakery was great with inexpensive prices and a good range of cakes and pies. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy.
Stop here every time I'm in Yarra Junction. Not so much for shopping, but the convenience. Love stopping in and grabbing some snacks for the road. Really friendly staff.
Great service and lovely people to help you. Everything you need and some. You'll also find a chemist, bakery, butchers, bottle store and a tobacco shop inside the mall.
Hmmm Coles v Woolies. No I can't do this. Like making me tell you that Steven is my favourite child. Oh my god I just you know that Steven really is my favourite child
Woolworth's range and prices with small-town feel and staff that help out because they are locals rather than being forced to smile for the corporate cameras. Great.
Its okay but you have a lot of subburbs surrounding yarra junction who use this woolies and your shelfs are always half full other then that the staff are friendly
They seem to have a policy of getting rid of the brands you like. I try to avoid this store if i have other options. However the front of house staff are nice.
It's only a small so is inept to hold a large range of stock like in other stores. The one thing it has going for it, is the staff. Always helpful.
Not impressive lived here 20years was good but since Seville got a bigger store yarra junction has less stock and does not hold what I used to buy
I haven't been there for over a decade, I found the store to be extremely clean and the staff amazing and helpful. I really appreciate the team.
A lot of lines become discontinued which makes shopping there less favourable compared to Seville. Either run out of stock or dicontinue …
Great service. Well mannered and friendly staff. Sometimes doesn't have what I am after but it is not a big store so not a problem.
So small, and barely has what you need. I see empty shelves regularly. It's long overdue for an upgrade. It needs bigger space.
Great i guy named Aaron helped me out to my car as i had heavy dog food. And it was raining. Thank you for the service
cant understand why yarra junction are out of so much stock yet can go to seville and there is loads on the shelves
It's a fairly small Woolies but the closest 'big' supermarket near me. I shop here a lot and have few complaints.
In a state of chaos with seemingly no one in charge of anything. Often out of stock of staples. Cluttered aisles.
My leg had to be amputated due to a freezer falling onto it but I got 2.50 off an Woolworths chicken good prices
Great shop. Super friendly staff. Can get almost everything but sometimes need to travel to the bigger Woolies.
Good convenient place to shop and definitely cheaper than Coles, also has a convenient liquor store next door.
Very nice staff especially amber she did a good job helping out with the new bag situation. Would recommend
Nice little Woolworths staff are nice have seen them deal with unpleasant people and handled it well
Good experience, friendly staff, service was good average size store. Recommended this shop to all.
Happy people work at Yarra Junction Woolworths. Great customer service. Clean and tidy supermarket.
Staff are friendly enough but the service, especially on ordered items, deli etc is below average.
A good store although due to being in a small town you can't always get a good variety of items.
Well set out supermarket, good meat section, with competitive pricing. Clean and staff friendly.
Not a very wide selection, but it's OK for most items. Can't rely on it for everything though.
Carpark a bit rundown but the store had everything I needed. Very friendly service inside.
Happy with our fresh products however other items are either not available or don't stock
Basic store, smaller complex so missing many items you would expect from a larger store.
Wonderful, ever helpful staff. Just lacking in range of items, but otherwise, excellent.
Nice mid-sized supermarket ... friendly staff and a great shopping/browsing atmosphere
Never has any stock compared to other woolworths. Terrible range and empty shelves.
Getting less products, limited selection compared to other stores very disappointed
Good variety of items in such a deserted area. Manage to buy most of my stuff here
Good Shopping here but don't expect all the lines you find in bigger supermarkets
Very good! Though that Elijah kid is really rude… He should get a raise though.
Easy convenient shopping for food, great selection of items quick n convenient.
Some veve lines constantly sub standard, i.e. Bussel Sprouts constantly poor.
Beautiful staff very helpful awesome service and things easy to find in store
Great store, plenty of organics in a comfy arcade, everything you need really
Great little shopping hub, friendly service, smaller store so limited range.
Overall it is a good store. The support staff are friendly and will assist.
A great place to pick up just about everything you need from a supermarket.
Way to much plastic land and ocean fill!! Not cool, it's killing the planet
Been shopping here since it first opened and has always had what I needed.
Actually had reasonable stock today. Must've cracked it after a delivery!
Staff are always friendly and helpful always seem to have what we need
Staff are always happy to help where they can or find someone who can.
There's not to much left on selves, hope the panic buying is over soon
Convenient shopping, reasonable range of goods. Open till late.
Always clean and well stocked. Friendly staff and clean store.
Small store limited. Variety.short staffed very friendly staff
Great place to get your car dinted thanks will come back again
Lovely customer service a lot of support and good community
The lack of stock on the shelves in becoming most annoying.
A well stocked store for a country town. As good as any.
Very friendly staff, but limited product range at times.
Once again everything you'd expect from a supermarket.
Awesome great friendly customer service …
Great range of varieties as compared to location
Nice, friendly staff, but products are limited.
Excellent customer service, they do their best.
Pretty good selection for a small country store
Always clean, staff are always happy and helpful
