So I was standing in line and this man tells me to go the the other register. I listen to him and end up at his register. While ringing my items up I noticed the prices were not marked down correctly. I informed him kindly if he (RAY) could make sure I get the discount since they were on the discounted back shelf. He sighed and said I would need to call my manager. I said that would be no problem than Ray tells me I was having lunch and decided to come out here. Than he turns to the other cashier and tells him how he’s lunch got cut short. I was so shocked! I didn’t force him to stop his lunch and help me, this guy approached me! So the manager fixes the issue and Ray tells her I’m going back to lunch. When he leaves I told her he was telling me how he’s lunch got interrupted and the manager a female tells me we’re short staff. These people have bad bad customer service! I get better customer service at Ross lol seriously I didn’t know if I was getting pranked or not. Upper management need to help them out because these employees have no filter…super bad customer service!

The place is nice they have a little bit of everything. This was my first time at the store and the customer service was not great. I ordered online and went to pick up they brought my stuff up handed me the tied closed bag and had me sign for it which was fine but something told me to open the bag instead of just grabbing and leaving and I'm glad I did because they had the wrong items in my bag when I told the guy he was nice about it and said he would go back and get my item then after about 8 mins he came back and said oh I'm sorry but the items they put in bag was probably because the ones you want are in a box somewhere in the back, I can refund your item if you like as if he didn't want to go through the box and get the items I paid for. I told him no I needed my items they were gifts and I would go do something else and come back and he was like ok, I'll look for them and have them ready when you come back mind you this was the La Cantera location and I had just drove from work downtown, needless to say I was not happy with my 1st experience at this store.

I shop here all the time and absolutely adore this place. I was upset with some curtains I got from here because they just didn’t look as good hung up so I immediately bagged them back up. I came to return them a week later and unfortunately i didn’t use my store credit when I paid for them and couldn’t find my receipt so I recieved a store credit instead which is completely fine because i shop here all the time and just wouldnt have any use for the curtains, unfortunately the customer service it what I’m upset about the woman taking care of my return pulled the curtains out and said they were “old” which is just wrong because I only had them for one week and bagged them up immediately, then she smelled them and said “these smell like smoke” which I am definitely not a smoker, it came off really offensive and it’s just disappointing because I usually always have a great experience here with the product and service . I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t even look around to use my my store credit.

Can I just shout out Daniel because his customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!!! I recently stopped by this location with a friend to grab a few snacks and check out anything new. When I went to the front to pay, Daniel the cashier provided a type of customer service that is very rare these days. This man asked me if I was part of the rewards program to which I said yes. He continued to ask me if I had any coupons to which I said no I don’t get coupons. He said really that’s weird…he continues to walk me through the process of getting to my coupons with a text message that is used for my points and he used the coupon that was soon to expire. This individual went above and beyond to help me save a few dollars and I greatly appreciated that. His positive attitude and willingness to help me with just a few dollars really made my entire day. Excellent Job & EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE DANIEL !!! the world needs more people like you!!!

I normally shop here as it’s close to where I reside and I am also a World Market member. However I went there yesterday evening Dec 6th and for some reason two associates kept following me around. This is the first time it has ever happened to me. New employees or new management I am not sure? I love World Market for their variety of international products (being international myself) and every time I go there I admire everything from bath, furniture, food items to kitchen and dinner ware. It was really uncomfortable. The associates followed me all the way to the till even when I was paying they were larking at the back. I should be able to shop without feeling harassed and stroll as much as I wanted. So today they get 2 stars. One star for exceptional products and 1 star for poor customer service. I still love World Market but that was uncomfortable.

Awesome selection of so many things. My children and I love their food section as it has many over seas items, I have to note while they sell Bonne Maman jams at an exorbitant price, if your going to charge $8 for these products at least make sure it isn’t strawberry you can buy at HEB for half the price. They have so many flavors that could set this store apart and justify the pricing if they were the only place you could get them but again $8 for strawberry. SMH. During the holiday season we did an online order for curbside pickup and the actual pickup was a little awkward as it seemed no one was sure where those items are left until said pickup. But once located we were out the door. I will say due to the holiday season and that particular day it was by far the most crowded I’ve ever seen it.

I have a terrible experience here. At the counter, I am glad I remembered to check expiration dates because I almost bought a can of hot chocolate that was expired last March 2018! That's almost a year! And the cashier was telling me they will sell it at 55% discount when it turns a year of being expired. What?! I asked her if it was even safe to still sell something even for a low price if it was that expired, so she called the manager and he said that it won't expire until after a month. I literally pointed out that the year says 2018 not 2019! Needless to say, I checked the expiration dates of everything else in my basket. If they missed one way too far from its expiration date, there's no telling how many other items they may have missed!

There are some quirky objects if you are looking for some unusual gifts. Quite a laid back atmosphere. I liked the fact there are some foods from various regions to try so that is pretty cool. I would say having visited many other cities and been to countries in Asia and Europe the furniture that is stocked is pretty overpriced. I assume that is due to import taxes making up a large part of the price. Certainly not value for money and no real "USP" in terms of superior craftsmanship. Will go back and get birthday gifts as I think some of these will be one off pieces you won't find at the mall.

Bought the Brinley dining table, chair and bench. Got a couch there also. All feel heavy and definitely made of wood and some compressed artificial board - at least the Brinley stuff I got, its super heavy. The manager there (shaved head) is super helpful, honored an expired sale tag and one time even helped me with a piece of furniture I bought that wouldn’t fit with the packing cardboard included; he took the cardboard back and trashed it. I would have been in a jam had he not done that. Conclusion: great service and awesome furniture.

We bought a beautiful floor lamp and we’re happy with our purchase. Love World Market selections and have been enjoying shopping here. We received duplicate billing amount. We called and spoke to the store manager she said they’d refund the duplicate amount. After weeks of waiting nothing happened. We then contacted our credit card to dispute the charge. The moral of the story is you can shop here just keep your eyes on your billing part. Store manager may need to be refreshed on the accounting part.

This place is amazing. I had heard of it in the past but had never been here. I was looking for some flat rectangle serving trays and it didn't take me but two minutes to find them here and I'm telling you what they were dirt cheap! They did not have a huge Christmas section which is some of the other things we were there to find but everything I saw in the store was priced extremely well and they had a huge variety of different things.

We arrived at 540pm on a Sunday , UNAWARE it was going too close along with elderly who walked in behind us. As we started shopping lots of items in cart we were told too we have to leave stores closed. Elderly in theyre 80s upset also told you must leave instead of stopping anyone coming in. Rude lady was a manager Katy or kitti something. Dont BOTHER going. Really rude customer service and we had plenty of money.Never going back.

The cashier Laura was amazing!!! She has the best conversations and is frankly gorgeous! If I could rate my experience with her I'd giver her 10 stars. Really just one of the best shopping experiences I've had. She made me feel very welcomed. She even told me "have a nice day," which was honestly all I ever wanted to hear from a cashier even though its not their job. She went above and beyond! 20/10 would go again.

This is one of my favorite World Market's! The staff are always friendly, it's easy to find and of course has all of the great stuff you expect to find at a World Market store. I also never felt like this one was messy or in disarray, which meant I always had a pleasant shopping experience. Also, there is enough space to move around without feeling like you might knock something fragile over.

I came across these drops that help promote sleep and release stress. They are called "goodnight". I've tried everything to get a good nights rest and these drops are beyond amazing! When I wake up in the morning, I'm not groggy or tired. I've tried Melatonin, sleep aids, eat and NOTHING works like Goodnight. I am finally able to relax and wake up well rested! Definitely will recommend!!!

Great selection of food and candies from all over the world. I like to pick out a kind of grab bag selection every time I'm up there. They run good sales on things but it's all spaced out over time, so you have to go on separate trips for like, furniture or dinnerware or whatever. Just keep an eye on their email list so you know when to go for the best deals on a particular category.

I’m very disappointed they dropped the soda stream program. I have relied on this world market for so many cute things as well as my soda stream refills and they just dropped it so you cannot make any returns on your soda stream bottles or any business about soda stream at this world market or any world market.

Walking into World Market is like taking a little international vacation. There are so many wonderful things to see that I want to spend the whole day shopping there. I always find unique gifts that I can’t find anywhere else, and my whole house is filled with World Market decor!

A little pricey but oh my word all the wonderfully fun things that they sell here. They have a section dedicated to what I'm assuming is mostly foreign food items. If you have family or friends who pride themselves on being a foodie this would be an wicked place to get a gift.

We made a few purchases, one very large one, and an employee named Kelly went above and beyond for us to make sure we got everything we needed exactly how we needed it. Thank you again, Kelly. We really appreciate you! Very clean store and good atmosphere.

A very fun store to visit, we stop in anytime that we are in the area. Our favorites are th wonderful selection of foods from around the world and the interesting array of sodas. Unique furniture, furnishings, rugs, soaps and candles also draw us in.

There is a wide selection on all sorts of stuffs! Sections are clearly labeled which made items easy to find. Shoppers and employees respected physical distancing. Employee ls were also kind and patient during the check out process.

It's been a couple of years since we have hit up world market. Store seems to have less products, like less furniture and smaller wine selection. I feel like prices have gone up 50-100%. Still like their selection nonetheless.

You really never know what you'll find here. I needed an extra picture, and they had a good selection for 25% of the original price. And I also found a nice galvanized tray for some garden use.

This store carries most of the Teas I like as well as wines I like to try. Plus, the "world" ingredients and spices are always good to try plus I always find handy kitchen items in this store.

It's decent. A few cool things. Beautiful furniture. Employees are so-so at this location. Manager has an attitude as do the older employees. The younger ones are really sweet and welcoming.

So sad. I don't know if its because of Covid or a political thing or not but there's nearly the selection there used to be. They didn't even have Christmas wrapping paper.
