I liked it for the fact that the employees were incredibly nice and helpful, and the recliner seats were very comfortable. I'm giving it a 4-star, because of the 2 seats that we reserved, one of them wasn't functioning properly. It wouldn't recline, as it was supposed to. So, during the commercials and Trailers, I ran down to ask for help from the employees, both the guy at the front door, and two employees walking through the hall. One thing that I can totally commend them for, is that they were all on it, calling for someone on their headsets. Before I knew it, a maintenance guy was meeting me at the door to our theater, and I lead him up to our seats. He tested the buttons to make sure that, indeed, they weren't working. Then, he flipped the seats forward. Now, mind you, if you're a maintenance employee in a theater, which could often times be dark, wouldn't you carry a flashlight? I would. But, he didn't. He asked to borrow the flashlight on my phone, which I'd already turned off for the film. So, we had to wait until my phone turned fully back on, which was kind of slow. So he, then, proceeded to insult my intelligence by showing me where to turn the flashlight on on my phone. (No, really?!) So, after plugging and unplugging it a couple times, it reset itself, and he was able to make it work again, just in time for the movie to start. Moral to the story, arrive early enough to make sure that your recliner seats are working, and don't turn off your phone until you know for sure that they are.

This is the go to theater for me. Become an A list member if you visit often. It is worth it with great perks and free tickets. Reasturants are nearby, or you can order from the concession. Dinner and movie night in one spot. The theater offers concessions and has a bar. The seats are comfortable, and the theater is always clean. So many other places have sticky floors and gross smells. This is the cleanest theater by far. They do check ID and Vax cards so be prepared. Update- no Vax cards checked or required. If you buy tickets in advance as an A-lister, they will check ID. Another update, the A-list concession line is supposed to be quick and a perk for members. Several times I have waited to be helped while they took every single person in the regular line first. One time counting 12 groups before getting to place our order. We would be better off just waiting in the regular line. The people ahead of us pointed it out and said it happens every time they go. I started noticing this each time I go now. My simple fix is I no longer order concessions.

This is a great AMC movie theater to watch a movie in any format. We took advantage of the Tuesday deal so I took my wife, sister, niece and nephew to watch Super Pets. I chose the regular laser screening and the quality was great. All the seats seem to be recliner seats and has seat warmer too. The inside of the movie theater is really nice and they have a waiting area too. My biggest complaint was that their soda machine didn't have all the options for soda (it was mostly unavailable) The last machine still had Sprite so I was able to get a cherry sprite for my drink. They also ran out of lid for the soda cups and the icee cups too. I don't know what happen there since it was only a Tuesday but it wasn't the end of the world. The sound in the regular showing was okay, we didn't watch a action movie so we couldn't really tell.

This is our new go to AMC! They way they have everything is perfect! It's nice and bright when you first enter, staff is always cleaning and sanitizing things. The restrooms are always suoer clean and fully stocked. The lounge and bar area is beautiful and comfortable! There are 2 tvs to entertain you while you have a drink and wait for your movie to begin or the rest of your party to show up. All the seats in the theater are nice and big recliners, depending on the type of movie you select some seats have seat warmers! Just like every other AMC you can purchase your tickets through their app if your a stubs club member and order your snacks ahead of time too! That's a huge plus especially on the days you know they will be extremely busy due to a new movie release!

Update, I've tried most of the food The hot dog is decent, the pretzel bites is sometimes too chewy, and the icing can be hard to dip into. The pizza is good but rather have a New York style slice. I'm a A list member and I feel like it's worth it since I do like going to the movies. Still wish they more food choices but I know they don't really have a kitchen to do much. My 3:15 movie was Dolby and I got there around 3:17, I ordered my food around 3:25 got inside and took my sit near 3:30 and they was still playing trailers, after maybe four trailers they played the Nicole Kidman then played the Dolby trailer and then Seth Rogan had to say thank you for watching before the movie finally started, glad we did get there any earlier. Why so many trailers?

I went last night during my bday August 5. Me & my hubby just chilling in the lounge area while waiting for our movie to watch. We choose Dolby cinema a lot of people watch around 10:15pm. The area is clean the restroom is clean some soap are not working during that time, maybe the battery is not working or it ran out. Somebody need to recheck it every 2 hrs the hand wash area is automatic no need to hold it but sometime the sensor is not working so i have to move try each one witch one is working. Again the manager of the theater need to check the public restroom if everything work well like the sink, if the sensor is working. A lot of people going to Porter Ranch to watch so it should be there responsibility if everything under control.

I received a generous gift card from my daughter for AMC. After reading the rave reviews my husband and I picked this theatre as it is closest to our home. We hadn’t gone to the movies in a year and were looking forward to an enjoyable evening. The concession staff was great. Our seats were great. It was 7:30 on. Saturday night. There was constant chatter, laughing, and cell phone use from the row of middle schoolers in front and next to us. The young couple next to us I believe reported the teens to management. Nothing happened. So after a few minutes they left. I hope they for their money back I will not be returning to this location . I hope management will keep unaccompanied minors from sitting in theatres without adult supervision.

Recently it seems like they might be understaffed. The cleanliness is not always all there specially where the drink machines are and the concession lines tend to run long and only two people attending the madness. Even when it's a slow day/hour it's still messy, staff don't keep up with the mess. Other than that though, love the AMC location and I enjoy their indoor layout, it's a small location but with plenty of screening rooms, all equipped with reclining seats. They have both small and big screening rooms. Size of your screening room will be based on the movie's demand. They have a bar that have both mixed drinks and beer. And they also have the option to pre-order your snacks to avoid lines.

Great theatre. Beautiful decor and building design. The theatres are all top notch with great sound. It is the newest theatre and definitely is the best one AMC had to offer. My only 2 critiques is the check in process is slow on crowded nights, that usually extends outside (which is not the greatest when it's raining or cold outside). The other small issue is I wish the chairs in the prime and Dolby theatres were similar to their other recliners. If your 6 feet or more the length of the foot rest feels short and not as comfortable as the older ones. The heated seats though is an added touch that is perfect for people who do get a little chilly in the theatre.

A new era movie theater. Everything new inside and out. You can even find a bar with alcoholic beverages in there. Server will bring you a dinner if ordered in advance so you could enjoy a movie and dine at the same time. Usual snacks in front as usual. I was watching "Elvis". Love it a lot. The last few times have really been disappointing. I feel bad for the people working at the concessions, they only have 2 to 3 people working, and the lines get really long. I waited 20 minutes in line, and on top of that had to wait for my food to be ready. Most of the menu was not available, and when I received my food they were out of the dipping sauce that came with it. The theater is so dirty, popcorn all over the floor, the floors are sticky from spilled drinks, and the trash cans are always overfilled. Overall, everything looks and feel so disorganized. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

Worst customer service ever, one of our chairs didn't recline, we flagged down a female worker that was delivering food to another customer, we simply asked for some help if not from her, to just let a supervisor know the situation. She got so angry and started aggressively pulling the chair out back and forth, SO UNPROFESSIONAL and uncalled for!...My gf and I was so humiliated, standing in front of the whole theater as if we were such a bothersome...we even expressed to her that if she couldn't fix it, it was ok, but she kept continuing in that manner...Worst experience of my entire life...

One of the cleanest AMC I’ve ever been to. Floors were mopped and carpets were swept clean. I honestly did not see any popcorn mess on the floor. Not to mention, their restrooms were clean too! Floor staff were really friendly and helpful. They’re very clear in communicating which cinema you should go to. Dolby cinema was a very nice - would never go back to standard cinema. Images were definitely better, sharper, and crisper. Recliner seats were clean and really comfortable - enough space were given for you to stretch out your legs without hitting the front person’s backrest.

It would be a better rating, if AMC can confirm if this was the historic site for Nicole Kidman's award winning commercial performance. What award? My broken heart. You can't tell me this isn't the same theater as the commercial. Same exterior, walk way, heck the inside of the theater is the same. Jokes aside favorite theater in the valley. Great experience, spacious, clean restrooms and safe. Great for any date night, family night or friend night. Come, heart break feels good in a place like this.

I recently saw Avatar in Prime 3D at the AMC theater in Porter Ranch and I have to say, the picture and sound quality were excellent. The 3D effects were really immersive and added a lot to the overall movie-going experience. The theater itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the convenient online ticketing and reserved seating options. Overall, I had a great time at the AMC in Porter Ranch and would definitely recommend it to others.

It's a new AMC, less than 1 year old (I think), so everything is very pristine and nice. You can get drinks at the bar and all types of snacks and soft drinks at the concession stand. Parking is difficult near the theater sometimes on the weekends because of how popular the new shopping plaza is, but it's free. If you live out here (or visiting) in the Porter Ranch/Northridge/Grandad Hills area and want to check out a movie on the big screen, I definitely recommend visiting the Porter Ranch AMC!

I came to this place… for magic. I come to AMC theaters to laugh, to cry, to care. Because we need that, all of us, that indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim, and we go somewhere we've never been before. Not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together. Dazzling images, on a huge silver screen. Sound that I can feel. Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place likе this. Our heroes feel like thе best part of us, and stories feel perfect and powerful. Because here, they are.

I guess all theaters are having a hard time. But they advertise certain drinks then when you order they are out, but then again all of a sudden they find it. But then they are out of something else. Plus you can't get in the front door without your electronic ticket and they have no WiFi unless you pay for their membership. Other theatres don't hold you by the front door but ck your Tix before you go to the actual theatres. It's a sad unwelcoming place.

So they were out of most sodas. 3 Coke Freestyle machines were totally out of Coke. Most of the candy was in disarray and they were out of many favorites. They also did not give priority to us in the A-List line. Came the best day and it was actually worse on a Monday just after opening. I will be filing a corporate complaint. The management here is really atrocious. I only go here because of the nice reclining seats but I'm going to rethink that.

Oh man, this is a REALLY nice theater. No wonder it took like three years to open. The seats are massive recliners and have a butt heater in them (totally unnecessary in southern California but so nice to have) and even if you sit close, it's really not too bad. I loved the staggered/stadium style seating typical of most theaters. There weren't many seats and you have to reserve your spots in advance, but that's great to have in my opinion.

Great place to watch a movie. Nice seats and great sound. Definitely an upgrade from previous theatre’s I’ve been to. But the food prices were a little high for me, especially with all the restaurants near by. The bar prices were extremely expensive and explains why it was empty. Tight pours and pricy similar to airport bars. To get a decent pour you need to pay for a double. That will costs you in the $20’s for simple cocktail.

My favorite of the AMC theatres in the area solely because the digital screens have almost completely lean back seats. The other AMC barely reclining. Also the base seats have 2 levels of heating. Parking is ample Ev Charging at reasonable price Only negative is that some cell providers have weak signal so may not have service during a showing. That maybe a concern for some people on call. Not AMC fault but must be noted.

Was physically assaulted at this theater by a person for simply asking them to stop blocking the screen with their head. An atypical response to a typical request. Staff is nice enough, but cannot recommend this theater, since the patrons seem to be violent and rude and not accustomed to living in a society where people can do things like make reasonable requests of each other without literally punching them in the face.

Beautiful set up. Staff behind the counter need a bit more training to keep the personal chat to a minimum especially when holding food for a waiting guest. Also, disappointed that the food options were minimal and prices were high. Lastly, for cooking some food it would be nice if the staffs hair wasn't hanging in their face and maybe tied back if not required to be in hair nets. Will be back to give a second chance.

NOW OPENS TODAY! Date Night with my beau and watched "Raya and the Last Dragon". Brand new theater, very nice and clean. You buy tickets either online or use the kiosk, seats recline / it warms your seat at a push of the button. Social distancing is still being practiced (2-3 seats between each persons/couple). Concession stand is open, we had popcorn but fountain drink is closed, they have to serve it to you.

It's the Best & newest Movie Theater in Valley, since they closed all Pacific ones. I try to go weekly since I got the A-list membership that allows up to 3 movies a week. All main screens have reclining seats, one even has a heating seat option. But it's not Dolby or Prime, you have to call them to check what movie has it. Parking lot is big & better than others with security driving around.

This AMC is much bigger than it looks and so clean. The staff is absolutely friendly and they have a bar and seating area inside as well. There are 9 theaters and many bathrooms. The bathrooms have been the cleanest out of any AMC I have visited. There is no cell service inside, unless you login to their WiFi. Overall, a must visit. They have the newer recliner seats, that also heat up.

Nice new facility, but the lines for food took over 30 mins to get popcorn so we were late to start the movie, and the seats were actually kind of uncomfortable, especially vs other AMCs in the valley that were renovated before this one was built. These seats are narrower and don't recline very much. Expected more for spending so much. And they wonder why people wait for streaming

So cool. Haven't been to a theater since the pandemic or maybe ever a year or 2 before that. When was the last Jurassic Park flick? Wow! I mean wow! The seats were more comfortable than home. Loved how I could move head, feet and body independently. And now they have bars IN THE THEATER...and a lounge. I can pick my seat, wait in a lounge, have a beverage, sit in a recliner, amazing!

Had a great time at the movies to see the black panther and I spent $75 on refreshments alone , first time at the movies since Covid started. Gotta love the reclining seats. Everybody was happy. Sidenote the caramel and cheese popcorn got a four out 4 out of 10 rating for me if you’re going to have caramel/ cheese popcorn then Garretts popcorn is the best!!! FYI

AMC Porter Ranch has recliner loungers, with adjustable back warmer. I really love it! It allows you to relax and enjoy the movie. They have a really good deal on Tuesdays. Movies are only $ 5 dollars . If you download the app, you can place your snack order and avoid the line. They also have a bar for those who enjoy having a drink and watching their favorite movie.

Clean and special! While this theater is smaller than other AMC’s here in California, it makes up for the lack of screens with its kind staff, clean environment, and comfortable seats (EVEN WITH SEAT WARMING) The aisles are super spacious with room to walk even with seats fully reclined! Fun fact: it is the filming location for the latest AMC commercial with Nicole Kidman!

This theatre is fine with the screens and seats and all but the air conditioning either doesn’t work OR they just don’t like using it. When it’s summer I don’t go to the movies to be hot. Not that it’s AMC’s fault but there is zero cell reception too so if you’re accessing your tickets online make sure to screenshot it before you approach the theatre.

It's alright I guess. Movie selection pretty limited to AMC movies though, which is unfortunately they don't honor my regal movie tickets. Also I went back for a large popcorn refill but they had run out of popcorn and it was only 1am so I was SOL halfway through saw x, luckily that movie killed my appetite but if it didn't I would have been upset.

Great theater. New and shiny. Zero cell service in the building. Even as a stub’s member couldn’t connect to the Stub’s Wi-Fi. And don’t worry about running late. This is the Nicole Kidman theater! So many don't recognize the now famous short for AMC shown before almost every movie was here. The theaters are smaller, but fancy you won't regret a vist. Beware parking can be tight especially on weekends. Don't forget you can parknin the adjacent shopping center and walk over of needed.

I love the location of this new theater. The theaters with the reclining seats are awesome, I wish they reclined a little more but it's fine. The theaters have been very clean. Service at concessions is pretty good. I would recommend ordering your snacks beforehand if you plan on buying any so that you dont have to wait.

This AMC theater is fantastic and the seating is great. You sit in recliner and they are heated. The sound system was easy to listen and at the right sound level. We just saw the new Bond movie and talk about action throughout the movie . We both enjoyed it immensely. We'll be coming back here often.

Went here for the first time today. Really liked this one. Reclining seats, concession stand, smaller theatre (I tend to like the smaller theatres), stadium seating. I really like this AMC. There's not a huge crush of people like there is at other larger theaters. And it still has the amenities like the bigger ones

Such a great theater. It has a beautiful design, very comfy leather recliners with heated seats, and the Dolby theater offers a great movie experience. The concessions are always great, especially enjoy the freestyle coke machines. Overall a great theater and my favorite one to go to with my AMC Stubs A-List!

Great staff. Had a refund issue on 8/13 and was settled by their manager. The rest of the staff is full of great kids. Very friendly and helpful. And the Dolby Theater is very awesome. Comfy reclining seats as well. My son and I really enjoyed our experience there. Can't wait to come back.

Wednesday October 11th, 2023 We went to the movies with two friends to see the new Paw Patrol movie for the 1:40 PM showing. The staff members were friendly and they helped us with our tickets. It was a good time and the theater atmosphere was pleasant. The restroom was clean too.

The theatre is beautiful and fine, reclining heated seats are excellent. It's just always so BUSY. Parking is a literal nightmare (not their fault of course), always a line to get tickets checked, to get snacks, then alcohol, and then the bathrooms, other than that it's great.

Really nice theater. It's the 1st. Time my Son n I have gone to a movie in 4 years. We used to go all the time to see Action Movies. But life always gets in the way. I'd go back there for sure, they have some Great Restaurants up there that we don't have in Burbank.

My first theatre experience after covid here! The theatre is beautiful. The seats are so comfortable and my son told me that the seats heat up halfway into the movie. This is nice for those who forget their jackets. Very comfortable. The sit down bar is nice too.

Every time I've gone here it's always super clean the bathrooms and the theaters. The reclining seats are comfy. Sometimes the line for snacks gets long but you never see any one slacking or being slow and every employee I've talked to is extremely pleasant.

When AMC brought their theater to Porter Ranch I was ecstatic. I missed going to the movies. I am a VIP member and I love it. The theater is clean, the workers are friendly, and the reclining chairs are so comfortable. All the elements to enjoy a good movie!

Great theater - comfortable and not too cold

We love it...definitely two thumbs up …
