Very disappointed in the service my mother received today when shopping for a pair of boots. We had previously shopped there together for boots for myself and had a pleasant enough experience to warrant her returning some twelve months later to buy a pair for herself. Marcus G was clearly unimpressed with having to do his job and help assist her with finding the right pair of boots, clearly more concerned with the effort required to retrieve and return boots rather than focusing on making a sale for the store. My mother suffers from Parkinson’s disease and became nervous as Marcus G stood over her, not making any attempts at being friendly or assisting at all, and she became flustered and uncomfortable. Nevertheless she persevered and found a pair of boots to purchase despite being told it was impossible that I could have bought what she described from Allgoods, even when she told him she was with me when we made that purchase. All in all a terrible experience and will not be shopping there or recommending Allgoods to anybody ever again.

Amazing amount of "goods". You do need to go to store to see what is on offer as the website does not show it all. In fact, it does not do the business justice! I found what I wanted, which was not on the website. Every time go in this shop I feel I'd love to shop there more often as the brands available seem endless. However, on my visit, even though there only a few customers, I was served by a seemingly reluctant, abrupt and somewhat rude staff member. I felt I was just a huge inconvenience, that he had better things to do with his time than actually help me find what I wanted! I now know why I don't go back unless I am desperate for something I can't find elsewhere. A terrible shame!

Great service. Really great service. So important to a Yank who sailed in just before Covid hit. Clerks know their inventory, speaking of inventory they have a lot of items made in Australia and many other items not made in China. Important issue today. I have bought a lovely pair of made in Australia Mongrel boots, A nice soft pair of made in Brazil boots, six pair of wool and Cotton made in Australia. It's my go to shop for clothing in Hobart. I really don't need to shop anywhere else.

Well I went in the store today I counted 6 people standing around not even one person made contact with me or my family the whole time I was there, they stood with there hands on there hips. The fella behind the counter stared and never even spoke, the floors where dirty very unclean shop and all there display racks untidy I won't enter your shop again truly embarrassing, nothing like Launceston All goods always happy to talk and help pull ya heads out Hobart

All goods used to be fantastic, but the last several times myself and spouse have shopped there we haven't been greeted with a simple hello when we have walked in, but instead get watched as if we are thieves when we browse. Despite the fact we have spent hundreds, if not thousands in this shop on products. Will not shop here any more. Staff training is definitely required.

I'm a sucker for independent stores but even then these guys are just great. Their staff have always been friendly to me without being obsequious (such a rare thing these days) and the product quality on offer is just great. Can't recommend enough. PS over the summer period they're known to open the Hobart store on a Sunday. If in doubt, call.

All goods is great for men's quality clothing at reasonable prices. Best shoe selection in Hobart, and trowsers, shirts. You just can't get the brands these fellas sell at other shops. Staff are very skilled, helpful yet not too in your face. The best range of Blunstone boots anywhere.

Allgoods is always worth a visit if you are Devonport, Launceston especially the Hobart store. Unlike the other outdoors stores Allgoods has gear for farmers, hunters and outdoors folk who need clothing for Tasmanian conditions. Easy to lose track of time here checking the gear out

Great shop, great service, unfortunately the shoes I bought just didn't gel with one of my feet that has a repairing break, they were excellent when I returned them. They are the first place in Hobart I go for shoes, jeans and shirts, have done for years.

April 2022: There's nothing swish about AllGoods. It's an old style workwear store selling trade gear, fishing gear, hiking gear... You get the drift. Staff are unpretentious, a little pushy on the sales pitch, but friendly.

I will not recommend the Hobart store to anyone. Unfriendly staff all hovering around together made me feel most uncomfortable. Have also been to the Launceston store - so much better - its like chalk and cheese.

How could you not buy anything from this store, it has everything you want & need in military apparel. Plus the Staff are friendly knowledgeable & helpful the best place for all your outdoor clothing needs.

I have been in twice in last 4 weeks , staff were helpful and I bought 2 excellent jumpers for my partner . These were a better price than at the other mens wear stores I checked out prior.

Staff are genuinely motivated to assist customers' needs & will support advice towards getting exactly what you want. My 5 stars are accumulated from years of decent customer service.

They where terrific. I ordered a pair of work trousers online a I had to take them back, but I walked out with another 2 pair's. I ordered the wrong size with the first one's.

Great camping store with a much better prices than the major chains. I recommend coming here first to see what they can offer before going somewhere else.
