Read before going here: Completely unreachable by phone. Since I wouldn't be able to reach them by phone, I would be forced to have to go into the pharmacy for any communication. They would push back the pick up date with 0 explanation of the situation and no solutions to be offered. Even when I solved the issues myself, there were shipment delays within the pharmacy that would prevent me from getting my meds. I was told that the shipment for my medication had not arrived yet, but when another pharmacist who had helped me a few days prior (and had to turn me down for the same reason...) came in, he intervened and the told me the medication would be ready in 20 minutes. They do not have the time to help you and seemingly zero interest in doing so. The staff seems tired, upset, and defensive. Adding to that, the employees, no matter how many times I would ask, would never use my preferred name. I would have to repeat myself over and over. Fine by me, but I feel very bad for any transgender clients they serve, because it seems like the staff doesn't even know what that is. After 5 months of trying, they don't advocate for any of their patients. It is a nightmare each time where I received 0 help, 0 communication, and lots of grief. I feel bad for the employees or management or whoever is causing such misery here, because this pharmacy is 100 times worse than anything I've heard of or experienced.

A convenient app. Haven't had insurance confusion or processing issues like with smaller pharmacies. There however is a significant lag time for prescription filling, since they wait until they have your prescription to order it from their supplier. And this is a monthly occurrence, not occasional. Therefore it's good to turn in the prescription weeks ahead so they have time to order from the distributor who themselves can experience shortages and no back stock on certain medications. That's why normal functioning pharmacies keep some back stock on hand especially when they know a customer is a regular. Not this one though, and they refuse to do it so don't ask. It makes zero sense to wait until a customer turns in the prescription to then order it from the distributor, wait for them to receive the order within 24 to 72 hours depending on the day, wait days or weeks for the warehouse to pick and package the order, load it on trucks, deliver to the pharmacy, then fill the prescription the next day. This is normal for a third world country which I guess for Western standards, this country is most closest to especially when it comes to healthcare. Bad management.

I use to fill my meds at 3rd ave bartells . They informed me that all my prescription was moved in that pharmacy. I went to pay them a vist and inquire about my meds. I was greeted by this young lady and rudely informed me that my meds isn’t here. She also informed that I don’t have a profile here. My impression bout this pharmacy is run by rude unprofessional staff. No respect to elder folks. I miss bartells that was pharmacy for 20 years and the folks there are kind and respectful. Cvs bartells was the best pharmacy in Seattle. Improve ur neighborhood relationship especially with some lol elder folks you will last long and folks here will patronize ur store. Horrible customer service

I really don't understand the bad reviews, this pharmacy is great. I've been going here for a year, and they're always extremely fast, very professional, and helpful. At other local pharmacies I'd have to wait hours for the same service, but they generally are able to fill my prescription within 15-30 minutes and they're very helpful with insurance or medication questions. It's very possible that some of the bad reviews here don't realize that this is an extremely busy downtown location, and the pharmacists here are constantly working very hard to deliver good service. This is by far the best Pharmacy I've visited in Seattle and really have nothing negative to say.

Unusually positive experience with this particular pharmacy. Though they didn't initially have our order in stock they did get it in when they said they would. The only small aggravation was that I was told I would be called or texted when it was filled on Monday. I had to actually phone them Monday late morning and ask if the order was in, and would they please fill it. They did fill it and have it ready within 45 minutes and applied the appropriate insurance and discount. Then I got my text. So, the only annoyance was that they needed to be reminded, by me, that this is supposed to be happening, now. The store itself is clean, fairly new

This pharmacy now has terrible customer service after switching from Target Pharmacy to CVS. The pharmacists and techs know nothing about the non-prescription healthcare products and make sure you know that they are unwilling to help. In my experience, when they make mistakes filling prescriptions they are unwilling to take responsibility and leave it up to you to sort out their errors with your doctor and insurance. I switched to Bartells because at least there they know what they're doing and will do everything to make things right if they make a mistake.

This is definitely my go to pharmacy for everything! I really, really enjoy it. The staff is super nice. Audrey, Tara, and the many others. They are always super helpful about explaining meds, helping you get prior authorizations, etc. If you are looking for OTC products, there is a limited selection. They are very fast at getting your prescriptions filled as well. Highly recommend if your looking for good customer service and efficiency! I was at CVS in TN before moving here and this one is so much better! :)

Rude staff. There was a lady named Tiffany working at the store. She was very rude to me. I was waiting for my prescription and my doctor was supposed to call the pharmacy. She received a call and hung up. And she said very arrogantly that if it was your doctor, he hung up and he needs to call me back! Then I waited and after 15 minutes I walked to her and I asked her if she received a call. She was like I am trying to work, stop pacing around! This was the rudest behavior I ever encountered at a store

Patient and resourceful staffs! To get my prescription, visited two other CVS and Walgreens pharmacies and they couldn’t find my insurance in their system.. All of them didn’t want to check at their end and gave me some unrelated directions which lead me to multiple calls with insurance people and my doctor! When I visited this CVS, the staff was very helpful. She figured out that the problem was on their end and she helped me to get the prescription. Reasonable wait time and efficient!

I just sat on hold TWICE for over 15 minutes each time. Both times I was disconnected, this last time when I tried calling back I got an “out to lunch” message. Pretty irritating. Update: called again after lunch, just sat on hold for 25 minutes and used my work phone to call another location and they answered immediately. I don’t want to be anti-CVS, but I’m definitely never using this location, what a joke.

First time picking up medication here for myself and Tiffany was a pleasure to work with. She explained my new medication and directions to me in great detail and even took the time to find some cost saving coupons! I do not have insurance at the moment and I cannot be more grateful to Tiffany! Best pharmacy experience I have ever had! Someone give her a pay raise ASAP!

The folks here have always helped me when I needed it, never treat me poorly for being transgender or for my ADHD needs. One of the pharmacists helped me figure out how to perform subcutaneous injections on myself for my hormones! I'm sad and frustrated that my insurance will no longer cover this pharmacy. They've always been great to me and I'll miss them.

Tiffany, at the Seattle Downtown CVS location, has always been extremely helpful and professional when I pick up and refill my medication. And is mindful enough to remind me for reoccurring refills so I do not have to come by or call to have my medication ordered to the location. Overall, best and nicest pharmacist I have ever had :)

  • Pavel Snagovsky

The worst pharmacy service in my experience. One star is way to much. Overall impression is very unprofessional, unpleasant, lack of care and attention to detail. This unprofessional approach at this pharmacy results in long waits in line and on a phone, due to mistakes on every order they make. CVS, take better care of staffing.

  • Phillip B

I had a great customer service experience here. Refilling my prescription was super complicated (insurance-wise) and Devon was very engaged--he made several calls to work out a temporary solution while sorting through the bureaucratic nonsense. They're also one of the only CVS locations to carry the specialty medication I need.

  • AJ Burt

Tiffany deserves a raise — she’s awesome also just so helpful with options to process my prescriptions. She knows how to make a patient feel like they’ve got a care team, while also keeping things concise & streamlined; a true expert pharmacist. I love this CVS!

  • Chibusa Zambia

The pharmacy employees are working very hard and I've seen them literally running behind the counter to get prescriptions filled. The problem is too many customers and not enough staff. Very stressful for everyone. Same issue at many CVS locations.

  • Gilda Fulco (Gildy)

Good store! One hour free Parking! $17 plus an hour after that, so park on the street instead! Lots of security in store and around, given downtown homeless and theft issues in store and around it. Not the safest location, but close to home!

  • Mariana Angeli

Always heartbreaking when people in health services are so incredibly incapable of providing a certain degree of care and empathy to those that come to them for aide. The attitude and way of communication was so condescending and full of

  • Jason P

The pharmacists here are very friendly, and always willing to answer any questions you have. Plus, they always give a little bit of an overestimate with regards to filling prescriptions, but almost always finish much faster than expected!

  • Agnes

Please try to use other CVS Pharmacy. The one in Target in downtown Seattle has very bad customer service. I asked a pharmacist there to help me find the medicine that i wanted and guess what she told me ? "You can read the active

Good layout/use of small space, nice flow (Unlike 5th Ave. where people have to constantly dodge one another!). Intuitively stocked sections. Always multiple cashiers on hand - - rarely wait in line more than a minute or two.

  • Jennifer Kelly

The pharmacists here really look out for you— always ask if you’re good on refillls etc and help with insurance stuff. I even had one pharmacist print out a $200 off coupon on a medicine! How about that!!!

  • Thierry Odom

They were very helpful if you want to know about a particular product. The people in this drug store was very commendable. They had wonderful service and an affordable cost. Keep it up!

  • Dare Peterson

always so kind and helpful, they never make you feel bad for making a request. they always make sure we get our medications as soon as possible and work out any problems that arise. :)

  • A T

Incredible service from pharmacists Tiffany and Jamie. Their thoughtfulness, congeniality, and willingness to go the extra mile are wonderful almost beyond belief.

  • Paul Inkeles

They didn’t have my prescription in stock and were rude when I asked for help finding a cvs that does. Interested in watching the clock not helping a patient

  • Neff Time

I'm totally stoked that they moved onto fourth Avenue and Lenora Street they were super friendly and I got to use the restroom thank God for CVS pharmacy

  • Steve Malson

It was a prompt and great experience I was able to get my meds in a timely fashion after reviving an old account they take all types of insurance

  • Bonan Zhang

This place will cancel your vaccine appointment without reason 4 hours before the appointment time. They are actively harming public health.

  • Jason Gore

DO NOT fill a prescription here unless you want to get endless unstoppable robocalls and texts from CVS for the rest of your life.

  • Robert Ruenitz

Wife scheduled her Covid-19 vaccination online again after difficulties elsewhere. Professional and efficient.

  • Betsy Finn

Walked in to buy a couple items, which were on main floor. Store looked well stocked and normal cleanliness.

  • firoz

Staff doesn't listen to you at all. So the customer service is really bad. But they're fast and competent.

  • Jay B

Never has anything in stock. RX are always delayed for up to a week. No idea how they are in business.

  • Kathy S

It’s a busy pharmacy, but they still give time to speak with a customer, and are helpful.

  • Carole Bennett

Well-stocked, bright, and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful.

  • Ronnie Martin

They were confused about it and could have been friendlier

  • neelybat chestnut
