This place is a nightmare. I need to urgently have my prescriptions transferred elsewhere. At least 4 times I have Ubered to CVS to pick up my prescription *WITHIN business hours* and the pharmacy is randomly closed. After the first time, I started always calling ahead, but when it would just ring and ring I had no option but to go there, only to find again that they were closed during business hours. If you are going to shut down midday, why would you not leave an automated voice message to inform customers? The last time this happened, I had just had wrist surgery and was being driven there to pick up Percocet for extreme pain. The pharmacy was closed. I jumped through hoops to have my surgeon transfer my prescription to the Bartells nearby and then wait for it to be re-filled. To have such unreliable service for prescriptions of all things - when people literally rely on getting their medicine for their health is harmful, irresponsible, and inexcusable. On another occasion I had my arms full of items and approached the check-out counter. There was no line and the woman behind the counter was doing nothing. She looked at me and said "Can't you just use self-checkout???" I was shocked and as I was juggling my stuff at self-checkout I dropped my phone and it shattered. Rude employees, horrible management. The pharmacists themselves are always nice, that is the one disclaimer I will give.
Multiple bad experiences at this store. I tried to file a complaint with CVS customer service about bad behavior from the staff here, but they just don’t have a system to track these. I had the worst experience trying to take a photo print. Michael behind the counter was rude throughout and humiliated me. On another instance, my partner visited the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. They could not locate the details, took 3 hours to fill the prescription while just keeping him waiting and ended up charging me for the prescription because they could not find my insurance information.
I just tried to make an appointment at the Westlake location for a flu shot. A rude woman in the pharmacy told me I had to call an 800 #. I called that, struggled with the inane voicemail, said "representative" about 12 times. Finally get to a human who tells me there are no appointments available at that or any nearby location. They will not make appointments farther out than 2 weeks. I am not going through that again. I will find an independent pharmacy. That is terrible customer service.
The pharmacist at this location is incredibly incompetent and unhelpful. My girlfriend has been waiting for her ADHD meds, which she urgently needs, for over a month. They have called multiple times to say it is ready, and she has gone all the way there via transit only to be told "it was a glitch" and it wasn't actually ready. They keep saying her doctor hasn't sent the prescription, and her doctor has sent it multiple times. Appallingly incompetent and rude.
The pharmacy staff is very helpful and efficient. They take care to explain any new medication and side effects. They have also been eager to help when I’ve asked them for over-the-counter recommendations. If I ever forgot to pick up my medications before the last day, they have called me to schedule a free delivery, which has been quite helpful during this COVID situation. They have pretty much become my permanent pharmacy for all medications.
what was this attitude? i made an appointment online for my covid vaccine and on the day of my appointment i was being told they ran out of vaccine shots and i could come back in ANYTIME after. called in today and a lady said they dont accept any walkin and abruptly hung up on me. Excuse me??? you guys messed up my vaccine shot and I made an appointment prior already
I only go in here to pick up prescriptions but the pharmacists are always the most lovely people. Always going above and beyond to help with transfers and getting me set up on automatic refills. I’ve gotten my prescription filled all over the world and have never had such nice and helpful pharmacists.
Don’t go here. The person working didn’t want to help me, and said I had to wait 10 minutes for the other person to come back from lunch to get something out of the glass. What a joke, it would’ve take less than 2 mins to walk upstairs to open it, but he didn’t want to do it.
I wanted a special item and asked that it be put on order, to my delight about a week later, the manager of the store Austin, actually called me to say he couldn’t get the item and told me where else to find them, and the price ‼️‼️wow great customer service Austin thank you
Twice I've tried to schedule a vaccine shot at this location. First time it got cancelled without any notification. I didn't find out until I got there. Second time (today) they notified me literally an hour before the appointment with no explanation.
Super helpful pharmacy staff. I came in with a million questions about prescriptions - insurance billing, getting several refills at once, etc. The pharmacists were super helpful and proactively answered questions I didn’t even know I had.
Employees were fantastic. First time I came in late on a weekday they were as pleasant and stoned as I was. Now they always seem sober and competent. Which makes me want to give 1 star, but I try not to be petty :)
Convenient location. Friendly staff. Almost all common medicines are available. Wide collection of beauty products. Grab and go breakfast, alcohol, basic electronics available. Passport photo facility available.
I could give a zero if I could. They said they mailed my meds…never got them. Then got a call they I still needed to get it. Took me 45 minutes to talk to someone and even then I had to fix their mess up.
They are decently stocked in most items you expect in a drugstore but the floor plan made me feel like I was being watched and I wasn't doing anything suspicious. But bad vibes mean not returning.
They do not pick up the phone. I was on hold for 17 minutes. I called a different CVS in the area and they told me this location has a reputation for not answering their phone.
Finally a neighborhood drug store that doesn’t close at 7 pm. Be sure to venture upstairs — most of what you need is up there. Giant liquor selection downstairs!
Terrible experience. They have been sending us back and forth for one medicine pick up for over a week, nobody picks the call in the pharmacy. Dismal service.
Wonderful pharmacists. I had an issue caused by a doctor and they went above and beyond to make sure the problem (again that they didn’t cause) was remedied.
This store seems dingy. Perfectly lovely staff. Poor inventory. Small. Why not just go to Bartell's (local Seattle business) down the street?
Nothing in the store related to a pharmacy, just stuff you would expect to find in a convenience store, minus any Healthcare stuff.
Condescending. 10/10 would not recommend. Also their phone lines transfer you in and out. Took 30 min to talk to a rep.
Souvenirs, liquor, pharmacy, munchies, late(r)hours compared nearby. Finally! One-stop-shop needed in this area
Pharmacy staff are really friendly and helpful! they always have great advice to give
Excellent. More upstairs.....put the banner up on the ceiling?
Pharmacist hung up on me when I was trying to ask a question.
The pharmacy has no idea what they are doing
