The team at Drive Sally is composed of professionals. They are driver focused. They are super friendly. Their cars run beautifully. They are very transparent about their billing and policies. Their insurance set up is very straight forward and comes with an affordable deductible. When issues arise, they are easy to communicate with and are ready with a solution. Drivers can use their cars on any rideshare and delivery platform. Lastly they are very flexible. If after two weeks of driving a certain car the driver feels like the car is not the best for them, they can switch to a different AVAILABLE car. Below are some points where they could be better. They should have a wider range of vehicles specially XL vehicles, because those vehicles bring in more money to the driver’s pockets. (they’ve done this, with adding electric vehicles) Their prices are a bit on the high side, compared to the other rental companies in town. However, when the service is fantastic you spend the extra bucks. Plus with their cars unlike the rentals from Lyft or Uber you are not tied down to working for only one company. It would be awesome if they partnered with a (local small business)car cleaning company to detail the cars before passing them off to the next driver. I feel so gross when I get behind the wheel and at first appearance the car is cleaned and vacuumed, but then I start to notice all the caked on dirt and stains. Granted this would be a cost that would be passed on to the drivers but, I love a clean car and so do my riders. So I would spend the money with them instead of having to spend my time going somewhere else to have the car cleaned. With all that being said I encourage all the drivers I meet to give them a call and come check them out on Lake Street. I have enjoyed renting from them for a few months and will continue to do so. Shoutout to Naomy and Kyle they rock! (dang, did I spell those names correctly ?! :)) 12/27/22 Still a customer. They now offer electric vehicles out of their new facility on Kedzie. The prices compare to Hertz’s prices pretty well. The customer service is still ok. They have grown and become Uber affiliates. A lot of businesses grow and start to ignore “great customer service”, I hope it’s not the case here. They aren’t that great at answering their phones anymore. At times It almost feels like trying to communicate with Uber Support. I still highly recommend.

I rented a vehicle from drive sally from May 2021 to NOVEMBER 1 2021. So far I I have paid $9500 . The weekly cost is $300 . Which comes out to $1200 a month. I was making advance payment just to stay ahead of the payment. Well on 11-1–21 a terrible accident happen first my tire caught a flat( wait four hrs for road side assistance no show . A nice gentleman ended up changing my tire. ( Drive Sally does not have road side assistances and not available after 6 pm.( I past $300 a week no service). After I get the tire repair. Now I’m back on the road now that I’m driving a pickup truck in front of me debris flying off the truck a ladder flew in front of the car as while I’m driving like 70 miles an hr. (I’m on my way to drive sally to get a new tire . ). When I arrive the staff member asked what happened to the car I was like I don’t know what you talk about I’m thinking it’s just a flat ( due to the spare tire on the car). No it was the front bumper damage and I was not aware the debris from the pickup truck fell off in front of me had caused damage to front bumper. I was not aware of the damaged to the car. Until I arrived at drive sally. Drive Sally terminate my contract and refuse to refund my cash advance payment which is more than $1100. I’m a single mom of six and driving for a living. Drive Sally totally rude inconsiderate unprofessional thieves mean staff talked to me horribly continuously hang up on me when I called. Refuse to refund my advance Payments. Terrible horrible customer service. Horrible experience

I’ve been a renter with Drive Sally since May of 2021 & have rented from other places before throughout my 6+ years in the rideshare industry and gig economy. Please read this if you’re considering renting. This company is very thorough and professional. They care about their clients. There are no “surprises” and all of your oil changes and preventative maintenance are included in your rental, as well as commercial insurance. I am also a licensed insurance agent, believe me when I tell you that there is no better option for your rental needs. Getting commercial insurance on your own for a personal vehicle is extremely expensive in any state. Their vehicles are clean and the mechanics get you in and out in a very timely manner. My experience with the Chicago office has been phenomenal. They always respond in a timely manner with any questions or concerns and are very transparent with the contract and expectations. My rental has a camera which is SO important for safety. I’ve done over 10k rides with rideshare platforms and before having a camera, I did not feel as SAFE. Which is the most important thing for us out here on the road (safety) If you value having a reliable vehicle and great communication, this is where you want to be. Blessings to everyone on the road, I know it’s not easy!

First time renting with Drive Sally and I must say my experience there was wonderful. From my 1st time calling til the time I walked out the door, their service and staff were exceptional. It can be difficult to get someone when calling, but they will call you back. Now the downside... I was disappointed with the vehicle however. They gave me a 2018 and it's not up to par, has lots of physical damage, smells weird, and may be in the early stages of the transmission going out. I'm also very concerned because the insurance they offer is definitely lacking. I have a good driving record but would like to know that if I'm in an accident, hit a deer (which are plentiful where I live), or if my car gets broken into, I won't have to pay thousands of dollars to cover the damage. This fact alone makes me hesitant to continue renting with them. If they upgrade the insurance I'd become a long-term customer. Edit: the transmission does seem to be performing better than it was initially, I'm still not sure what was going on.

I would recommend DriveSally over Hertz uber/lyft. The customer service is NOT EVEN CLOSE. Anytime I needed assistance I called in or requested a call back and I ACTUALLY RECEIVED A CALL BACK. GET THAT!. I'm going through the worst time in my life and another thing I can't speak enough on is this place says from Day 1 - if you ever have ANY issues just contact us and we will work with you. I CAN SAY FOR A FACT THAT IS TRUE. Because of the difficulties that I'm going through and needing a car to work, I can't say enough about Drive Sally. Everything they said they honored. I have dealt with Josh the most so far and he is absolutely terrific. I also met Maddie and she is great as well. I will be on track again soon and will continue to rent with DriveSally because they make everything so easy. That's what we drivers need. A little bit of easy. Thank You at DriveSally. I'm not getting a discount for this review. I wasn't promised anything. I just feel everyone should know that this place is LEGIT.

The customer service is subpar. I’ve been waiting on a manager to call me back for three days to deal with the SECOND defective vehicle they have given me. The first vehicle was a vehicle they towed. They did not inspect the vehicle before I drove away. I immediately knew something was wrong and turned around. I had to wait an hour before they gave me another vehicle (that was empty) with tire issues and tire pressure monitor issues. Contractually, renters are held responsible for most issues with the cars outside of normal wear and tear, especially tire issues. If the company is not taking my complaints seriously, I can not be held liable for any damages. I’ve attempted THREE times to lodge my complaint and have repairs completed, or for them to switch out my vehicle with an INSPECTED vehicle.

I advise u all don’t rent from them they are out for them self put u in a dangerous car and then come at u about payment when u can’t really drive the car to make money in I had the worst experience with these guys had a accident they automatically say it your fault and charge u a $2000 deductible for a insurance claim when in actual they don’t even complete a insurance claim so they are charging u 2000 and damage to the car don’t even be that much then when u ask for the invoice for the damages they go in make up one they not good to work with the last car I had from these guys was a 2017 Toyota Camry with over 200000 mile on it needed a lot of work done to it they kept giving me the run around till I didn want the car no more.

I’ve been renting with Sally for a little over a month, as I’m waiting on my car to be repaired! So far so good! No complaints here! They are always nice and responsive, whether that’s going down to the office, calling in, or texting with a rep. I haven’t had any mechanical issues thus far, but the guys who work on the cars are very hardworking and always make sure that the cars are running great and are clean! I also enjoy having the flexibility of moving my due date to a day that’s comfortable to me when paying the weekly car rent! Last but not least, I enjoy the range of being able to do work for Uber or Lyft as options while renting! Most companies aren’t able to do so, but that’s what makes DriveSally the coolest to me

I have been using the service for a few months now, I wanted to wait some time before giving a review. The sign up process was easy. I paid the deposit plus first week before i arrived and was out the door with in minutes. Maintenance, registration, etc are taken care of by them at their facility. I signed up because of the unlimited miles, and maintenance piece as well as the price is reasonable relative to the market. The people are always super friendly, like if chick fil a was a car place. I have not had any stress with them so far and I would recommend this to ride share drivers and applicable gig workers. They get the need and they meet it well.

I had a horrible first Sally experience, they did not show me how to charge the electric car correctly. They did not show me how to use its features at all, they had a tablet in the car that they never show me how to use, there was broken glass inside the back of the car, they did not do their inspection correctly, so I left with no washer fluid, customer service was not the best, they offered me nothing for the inconveniences they caused me, no detailed breakdown of the bill, nor ANY BILL OF ANY KIND TO REVIEW! or charges. They keep your $300. Deposit, for a whole month AFTER you return the car, and I feel like they take advantage of people of color

Overall great experience! It's easy to rent a car from them, you only need a valid driver's license, good driving history and a $300 refundable deposit. You do need to provide a minimum of a week's notice in order to return the car, otherwise you lose the deposit. Rental rates are comparable to most others and the cars are good, quality cars. All standard maintenence (oil changes, tire replacements for normal wear, etc) is performed at no charge by them. Their customer service is fantastic. Only recommendation I have is maybe incorporate a discount program for long term renters as an incentive to keep them driving with Sally vehicles.

Okay full disclosure I've had 2 minor but frustrating events with drive sally HOWEVER they were great about working with me and getting things done the correct way. I went from being extremely frustrated to overwhelmingly grateful. Jessie (hopefully I spelled your name right) at the NY office is amazing he took care of me even though I was in Chicago. This is officially the only ride share rental company I will ever rent from when I'm back in Chicago or when I return to New York. Thank You drive Sally you guys really are amazing. Customer service is head and shoulders above the competition!!!!!!!!!

Drive Sally has been AMAZING TO ME! Anytime I needed new tires or an oil change, they know how to take care of their vechicles and also make sure I was up to date with the best services. In particular Ms. Noemi and her team were excited to see me and greeted me as if I was a close friend or family! I was utilizing their vechicle for many months and it was super helpful for me to be independent and earn tons of money! They are a scam company who does not walk through the cars and the electric cars safe even more of a scam. I ran out of juice and instead of them saying there’s a charger they made a tow truck get me and after telling me the fees would be waived they charged me. No spare tires and you have to pay to have tow truck to fix. And even after my $300 deposit was taken the continued to try to take my money weekly from my debit card. I have asked them to stop but every day I get a notice that they tried. Don’t use this company

I have used both Lyft drive express and have driven for Uber's platform as well. Delivering. Restaurants. A. Service that I received after calling drive Sally has been absolutely. Fantastic.very friendly and efficient customer service. Every time I stop by Sally my experience is great! The staff is Polite, very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with my needs! It's really nice doing business with Drive Sally! Today my I had an expected malfunction with my Toyota Camry and I reached out to Sally to notify them of the issue, they had a Tow truck at my location within 20 minutes or so!!!! I’m a driver with Lyft and if you’re looking to get a rental Sally is definitely the place to go. Everything about their service is excellent, very personal and transparent. The vehicle I received is in excellent condition and makes me feel like I’m driving in a condo Rachel is my goto girl on their team and I feel like she’s an old friend. Everything about their service is honest and personable. Drive Sally is the gold standard for this industry and I recommend them over everything else.

I thought Rachel was very professional. She’s going to be a lost to Drive Sally. However, Tommy is just as professional and informative . The mechanics are very professional and competent. I like how the garage is there with the lobby for customers. Everything is done right there. The only issue I have is If I take a road trip. The car happens to break down. I have to pay for it. However, I understand that this is still fairly a new company. So, in time that policy might change.

Highly recommend!! If you drive for Uber/Lyft this is the place to for You! They text you the vehicles they have available you can choose from a variety. No stress sign up and what I really Love the Most is the confidentiality. You are in a booth, they explain their terms and go over any questions in detail. No long all day wait times. Customer Service is done Respectfully. Cars are super clean! Very Organized and detailed with friendly and Courteous Staff!!!

Hi this is Eric. This is my first time doing a review. So please so bear with me. I am happy that Drive Sally expended out to Chicago from New York. The service provided bye Danny Jack and tarik. Is great. The vehicles they provide are standard gas and hybrid"s.Toyota Camrys. Toyota RAV4s and Toyota minivans I did see some Toyota Prius. with renting through Drive Sally you could drive for any platform. You do not have to worry about maintenance on a vehicle.

Waste of time please avoid better try avis or hertz, when i signed up for rental i got text they need my driver license and uber account photo which i did and send them then after 4 hours i get mgs that they are unable to get as there systems are down and telling me to get details by paying $12 thats redeculus waste of time and money. Avoid avoid avoid will take you all personal details and will never revert back.

The staff is the best part about this location. I’ve never been so happy to go visit a car rental place. They attend to any need you may have when it comes to the car. They really do make you smile. Don't give this place your business. The service there is terrible. My car had problems. Either I would get ignored, or just be told that the car was fixed. When the car broke down. They will try their best to make it your fault. When you correct them in the most respect can. They will just shut your car off the next day. That's drive sally for ya! Not at all happy with my experience with this company. Referred by two people. They tell you they have a car for you and they don't. I'm in Illinois and the person you talk to is in New York so he sends me a list of cars to pick from but Chicago doesn't have the cars he sends. So #1 the false advertise to get you reeled in.

The worst car rental service I've ever delt with. I'm on my 4th car and all have had problems except for this one and the only because it was new. Customer service is terrible. They don't return calls or text messages. They are more expensive than the competition and they charge you for everything.

Really bad experience, they want just your money they will a charge you lots of fees and they will try to termine your contract early to keep your deposit, all the cars have been involved in accidents , don’t waste your money here hertz Uber program is cheaper and they treat you better .

If you are Uber or Lyft do not go with them you would do better just leasing a car they charge for everything and you only have a 50-mile radius that you can monitor the vehicle through CDT
