My father placed an order from the east coast to have flowers delivered to me on Valentine's Day...he decided to order a planter full of live plants as opposed to fresh cut, and we received something that looks like it cost $10. My father paid about $80 to have 4 individually potted plants (like the tiny plastic pots plants come in if you purchase them from Home Depot - which typically only cost about $3 anyways) overflowing from a cheap, makeshift wooden crate painted black seated inside a cardboard box. I called to ask him about it, because there's an annual geranium that doesn't really seem to belong in this "arrangement", and he was baffled. He had said it was supposed to have ivy and come in a ceramic planter (already planted!). With some investigation into the box I found the tag indicating what it was supposed to be - please refer to pictures. Outrageous. Update: I contacted Hansen's and it seems like they've done just what the last negative review had said: claimed that it was not their fault and tried to defer the blame to someone else. I will likely be stopping in tomorrow to show them how vastly dissimilar the two products are. If I could remove a star, I would. Not because I'm painfully upset by this arrangement, so much as the customer service is not good at all. I would have been embarrassed to have had this delivered to someone (it's literally a makeshift box - which they swear is the equivalent of the ceramic bowl it was supposed to come in - with unplanted plants that don't look good together sitting inside of it...honestly, they would overcrowd the "planter" if planted anyways). Could you imagine receiving this if you had just experienced a loss or something? Inconvenient, unprofessional, and entirely disappointing. I would recommend any other place before this one if you will not be ordering in person - they will say everything they can to defer the blame to someone else. Absolutely unacceptable.

Our experience with Hansen’s was amazing. I’m not from the area but was eloping and hoping to get a bouquet done. I didn’t really have any idea of what certain types of flowers I wanted, just color scheme. I went in in person and talked to helen about our quick timeline and what I was looking for. Sent her pictures for inspiration. Not only that, we needed delivery to an apartment complex in University Place. The arrangement they came up with as well as the timeliness of the delivery were perfect. Delivered 2 hours ahead of the latest time I needed it by and they were perfect. Mike the delivery guy was great at getting them inside despite us not being at the complex. Highly recommend!

Look elsewhere. Will not order here again. The whole back side of my mothers flowers is blank just greenery. The front is decorated with flowers. Exactly half the bouquet is done the other half has to be cheated to the wall. Because there’s not one flower on the other side. WTH ‍♀️Cheap way to cut costs. Couldn’t even spare filler flowers so that this looked like a bouquet. Not a half bouquet. Disappointed to say the least.happy Valentines Birthday Mom. SMH. I first discovered Hansen's Florist back in 1985 while working for a company in Seattle who used them for their corporate needs. Hansen's outstanding customer service and unique, breathtakingly beautiful floral arrangements have kept my husband and I turning to them for all our floral needs ever since. Whenever I receive an arrangement it never fails that people continually stop by to admire, enjoy and comment on it. I highly recommend Hansen's.

After reading the negative reviews I was hesistant about going here to get a quick bouquet for a co-worker’s retirement. I walked in. I was greeted politely. I said I need a $25 mixed bouquet. I was given a very stunning mixed bouquet. The colors were balanced and the flowers were appropriate for the season. I did not receive any flack for not pre-ordering or only ordering $25. I am very satisfied and will definitely be returning.

I called Hansen's directly with a last-minute request for a "Zen" arrangement to be delivered the same day. I don't live in Seattle and dread online florists. I chose based on reviews and proximity, but still wasn't sure what would actually arrive. Within 2 hrs, it landed on their doorstep to rave reviews. They sent me a pic, but couldn't get it all in the frame. Wowza! Forget online flowers. Hansen's is the one.

I frequently need to order flowers as part of my job. Hansen's has been our exclusive florist for years. I usually speak with Helen and she always remembers the details of our standard orders. Other staff members I have spoken with are also knowledgeable and helpful. Best of all, not only are their people great to work with, they make absolutely beautiful arrangements and funeral wreaths!

For my wife's birthday I wanted to surprise her at work and drop by with some flowers. I found Hansen's Florist to be conveniently located close to her. The owner (I believe Hellen) was an absolute pleasure to meet with. She is an "artist" at designing arrangements. I will be doing all future arrangements with Hansen's Florist. We ordered two house plants for our son for a Christmas gift but was worried about doing over the phone. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They listened to what we wanted and custom picked plants that met our requirements. They potted them in nice pots and even included stands which we didn't expect. Hansen's did a great job and our son loved them!

Hi, I ordered a flower arrangement for my girl friend. She just received it and has taken about 20 pictures of it, and can’t stop raving about it. For the money it was very large and impressive. It must have had 10 large Lilies along with several other flowers and was amazing. Lilies are her favorite. Good job highly recommend them. Maurice

Asked to call and text her before delivery and to Not leave the arrangement. 30 hours later i called her husband to make sure and she gound thrm sitting there for more than a day with no card and no mug. Hansen's delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my wife during the 2021 Valentine's Blizzard in Seattle. Candidly I just expected the flowers to be a few days late given that the entire city basically shut down, but somehow they managed to deliver them. Incredible level of customer service.

I have been there twice now. The person who has been there, I believe to be the owner. She is so kind and helpful. I pick out a couple different flowers and she wraps them beautifully with a little extra razzle dazzle. Great customer service along with great price. I’ll definitely return.
