What a shocking experience ! I generally do not like to leave bad remarks but this one was pretty bad hence deserves a one. Sales guy refused to accept my business ! I went to the Mt Gravatt JB Hifi store around 2PM on this Saturday 26th November with an undecided mind, whether to replace my washing machine or to buy some suspension boots to reduce its vibration. After about 20 mins looking at their range I politely reached out to a sales person and described my need. There was a Series 8 BOSCH on the floor which was about 1.8K. I enquired the man of it, he said this specific series is manufactured in Germany whereas the rest of the models are from Asia and Poland. I was keen, therefore enquired of its features. Nothing much came out of the man, therefore I finally said, "sell it to me, why should I buy this one". At this point I was expecting the sales person's role "The Product Specialist/Expert" to convince me to buy the machine. I was wrong, I could not get anything out of him. From the tone of his voice and the awkward silences I felt this man had me profiled and perhaps thought of me as a waste of his time. I was shocked of his professionalism, either he was extremely incompetant in selling (good luck JB Hi-Fi) or he hated my skin colour. Sorry mate, the latter I cannot do much, it's what I'm born with. Anyway, I went to the Harvey Norman after. I could see the difference. Staff there are extremely polite, explained different options, features, future models, etc, they were on top of it all. Ended up buying a Miele and I am glad that I didn't buy anything from JB. Looking back at the experience with JB, a 1.8K sale was there on a silver platter, they were just so incompetent to grab it (or treats people based on skin colour). Poor and distasteful experience, I wish you were better JB !

I am writing this review because I was very offended by the attitude of one staff member ( a middle aged man with shaved hair.) His demeanor was so unfriendly and unfriendly that it took me a while to realize he was the staff assigned to me. I wanted to ask him some questions about the product description, price etc but his attitude was clearly rude and arrogant towards me. I saw him smiling and conversing with other guests and staff, so it was clear that I was being discriminated against because of the difference in his attitude towards me and towards them. His attitude towards me was clearly disrespectful even though he said it was not discrimination. And it was an attitude that made me, a customer, feel that way. I don't know what kind of thoughts or ideologies he has, but I don't think he treats me properly as a customer, nor does he see me as a member of the same society, unfortunately. .This was a very sad incident, but I made an official complaint and would like to thank one of the members of the support team who kindly responded to the complaint over the phone. Two stars are due to him.

Don't expect to be served quickly, or in my case, at all. Staff are more interested in talking to each other, getting their drink bottles from another department. One sales rep was more interested in putting stock away then serving customers. While I expected there to be a wait due to it being a Saturday mid-morning, there was a handful of people in the store around. In the end, I left after 15-20 minutes when the sales person came into the area and failed to greet me or another guy in the same section. EDIT: I went there late afternoon at closing time. Was greeted by the Apple Rep firstly, who then chased up someone for me (was looking at android tablets) Great service by the guy, but still had to wait for someone...and if it wasn't for the Apple rep, who knows if I would have had to wait as long. Upgraded from 1 Star to 3. They still need to do a lot of work with their customer service, at least greeting and seeing to them within a reasonable time frame.

I recently made a purchase of a Hisense TV during a promotional sale. However, upon bringing it home, I discovered that it did not meet the specific requirements of my family due to limitations within the Vidaa App Store, particularly the inability to download certain Australian channel apps. In an effort to resolve this issue, I approached Charlotte, the store manager, at JBHIFI and inquired about the possibility of exchanging the TV for a more suitable option. I was pleasantly surprised by Charlotte's quick and unwavering willingness to assist us in finding a solution. As a result, our purchasing experience was greatly improved as we were able to obtain a Sony TV that better met our needs. The exceptional level of service provided by JBHIFI, particularly Charlotte, is highly commendable and we are grateful for their attentive support.

The service from the team and management has been pathetic. I requested from the sales rep who sold me TV that I wanted a delivery before 12.30pm and if the could put a note for the driver to call me so I will make sure I am home and not at work. No calls from driver. I contacted the store 6 times and each call was more than 45mins and they always said they will call me back but they never did and I had ro call and follow up on my delivery. The staff and management lack customer service and they need to work in communication. It's been such a long wait and still my tv isn't delivered. It's almost 5pm and I have not heard back from them and the tv installer had to be delayed as well. The service is just pathetic. I will never purchase from this store and I won't recommend anyone buying from this store.

I bought a TV from this store in 2019. Three month's after the warranty expired, the TV stopped working. Rather than fix the issue, they said that I would have to take it up with the manufacturer. Australian consumer law protects consumers for items that do not meet the reasonable expectations of the life expectancy of a product. It is reasonable to expect that a television, would have a usable time frame of at least, 7-10 years. JB hi-fi offered to organise a technician to check the faulty TV, but advised that I would need to pay for any repairs. Basically, they've done nothing and do not stand behind the product's that they sell. Next stop will be the Ombudsman then onto QCAT. Thanks for the "interesting" experience Jbhifi.

They carry a wide rang of electronic good, every gadget your home might need. They have 75 inch TVs for under $900, the TVs have vibrant colours. It made me want to purchase one, even though I don't even watch TV. They also carry top brands of computers, laptops and monitors at pretty good price. The staff was helpful and if you to ask for their best price you might just get yourself a discount, as there are always room to move with their displayed price. They also have display stock at a lower price as well. Clean, bright and all stock were neatly displayed, a very welcoming store. The staff was happy to show and explain what we were asking about, even though he knew we were just looking and not ready to commit to a purchase.

I would like to express my acknowledgment of the worst workers on the planet. These employees don’t deserve more than the 7 year olds in Thailand. I stood in the store waiting for someone to come give us a hand but no. As it’s Friday they preferred to discuss each others plans for the weekend. Even after waving at them nothin but a cold shoulder. I thought that maybe if I kicked the TV I wanted over I might get attention but didn’t want to risk the police charges. I thoroughly pray upon the life struggles of each and every employee there due to pure dissatisfaction. I left after waiting half an hour with no purchase. The staff at this store through jbhifi business /commercial namely Lisa McCarthy and Michael love lied to a customer and then when he called them out on it through email as they are to gutless to call over the phone only correspond via email when called out over there lying they say due to his threatening and aggressive manner the order is being cancelled and refunded that was three days ago and he still hasn't received his money then they will try blame the bank more lies and there was nothing threatening or aggressive in the emails how would you feel if you were lied to on numerous occasions you wouldn't be angry he is an old man who doesn't leave his house

I couldn't remember the name of the staff member who helped me today but the staff ID Number was 63024, sale at 233pm today. He was relatively new and went out of his way to assist me even though I was not in his department. He also had assistance from another guy in the department who was amazing also- so sorry I didn't get names. I had extremely small time constraints to buy a new phone after a number of unfortunate events and I couldn't be more grateful for their professionalism and assistance. We went to JB looking for a fridge only a few days after Christmas, the place was pretty bonkers. Loki assisted us to find the right fridge while also acknowledging and assisting multiple other customers who were waiting for someone to help them. He was so attentive and helpful, best customer service I’ve had in ages. We walked away with a fridge (which has now been delivered in only 3 days) a microwave, universal TV remote, and a fun new board game as recommended by Loki! Thanks heaps Loki, you’re an asset and I hope JB appreciate you. We sure do!

Great experience at JB HI FI yesterday Seriously great service by a young man named Radhe I went in lost looking for a new phone and plan and I don’t have a clue about this stuff Radhe took the time to work out what was best for me and answered every question I asked him with smile.. He then transferred everything over to my new phone.. Can’t remember the last time I got amazing customer service like that.. I walked in not confident at all., But walked out over the moon.. I purchased a dryer from here, which I am very happy with. I was aware that it was $55 delivery, which one assumes that it will be brought into your house and put in position. In my case, under the laundry bench. Not the case at all. It is $10 more to have it 'installed' and the boxes taken away. When I asked about what does delivery entail then, it is just that, they bring the box to your house. End of story. So I had to pay an extra $10, moving a 42kg dryer isn't an option for most people.

I bought an iPad here, the experience was good and friendly from the person helping me, however when I was waiting for the person helping me to come back with the iPad, another employee stared at me saying "keep an eye on him, he looks like he could steal something." Obviously I will give her the benefit of the doubt but I still didn't feel at ease after it. To be fair to her I wasn't wearing the best clothes (I was still presentable) as it was a Saturday and I had a hangover.

Don't waste your time. This store is the exact reason larger bricks and mortar competitors are failing. Went in to buy something and not approached by any staff at all (despite them standing around talking to each other and managers with clip boards). Asked a staff member for assistance and was told it was not her section but she would get an "expert" to assist me. Waited another 20 minutes, and no one turned up. I left and spent my money at the Good Guys. Do the same.

The woman who served us approached us in the aisle, knew her stuff, and didn't try to push anything but the best deal for the best price. Went in yesterday 29/10/22 to buy a new phone. Best retail experience I have had in a very long time. Young guy ( mid 20s tall, slim-sorry I didn’t get his name) super helpful, friendly, genuine. Actually knew what he was talking about! Put my screen protector and case on for me. Really great service. Store was nice and clean and all the other staff that I interacted with were also friendly.

Walked in around 930am and was the only customer in the store at the time. Six staff there. I asked to see a specific area and was pointed there, yes helpful. No further assistance provided or expertise given, after moving through the store I noted all staff were more interested in each other and chatting than helping the one person (I could see) in the store. Looks small from the outside but quite big with a good selection of everything inside, from electronics entertainment to household kitchen appliances. Plenty of parking all around outside. Another good point is the staff leave you alone to browse all around, instead of putting pressure on you with the sales people asking 10 questions on what are you looking at buying.

Just waited 10 mins for service no one acknowledged me. I proceeded to ask someone in the laptop section if anyone could help in the watch/phones. His reply was that he was busy installing the security tabs on the laptops, he will see if he can direct someone over to the watch/phone section. Waited another 10 mins and no one assisted... then left the store!!

Bought a laptop from display section , charged and when sat down to work, it required a password that nobody was aware of.Took it back to shop next day with no result.Utter waste of time .Luckily,staff member assited to buy a better replacement at discounted price.Wish if this customer service on the first place on first day to save the customer's time.

The worst customer experience ever. Walked in SPECIFICALLY to purchase a phone knowing what we were after and it took over 40mins of continual asking for assistance before we FINALLY had someone come to help, only to find there was no stock available and we needed to go to another store. Biggest waste of time.

Somehow managed to lose $100 gift card between the shop and my car. Went back and spoke to manager Warren without very high expectations. Didn't even have receipt with me. While at times the stock levels can be a bit low, this is a pretty spacious and well laid out store, preferable to the many JB stores that are very small and crowded with products. Parking generally easy and close to the entrance, so that helps a lot when picking up purchases.
