original review date: sun. june 9, 2019 additonal review: november 26, 2021 photo add-on: november 26, 2021 if you're specifically looking for vodka coolers and hard cider products, the centre mall location has good selection and for the most part, a consistent supply of all the locations in hamilton. sometimes though, they will run out of the above mentioned products, but less often then everywhere else. their cold fridge selection for the coolers, ciders and a variety of other beer products make it real easy to enjoy your chilled beverages right away when you get home. the lcbo@ centre mall has a good selection of everything else that the typical lcbo store would carry. combine that with the vast majority of their staff being polite and efficient, (they unfortunately like any other workplace, have a couple of bad apples that should not be in retail if they are allergic to dealing with the public lmfao), excellent extended hours so that the public is afforded every opportunity to buy what they need...and there shouldn't be any need for the government to have a discussion about dismantling the lcbo/changing the system as it is retail-wise. 2nd review: november 26, 2021 the lcbo @ center mall continues, for the most part, to do the same positive things as explained in the 1st review from 2019. some occasional stockouts and some miserable staff, although the majority of staff here are polite if not friendly. bottom line: i would continue to use the lcbo @ center mall when in the market for adult beverages, and would recommend this location to others.

Normally I don't mind this LCBO, however after calling this evening to confirm they had something with low stock, the phone rang and rang with no answer. I decided to drive over and all the security gates were closed/lights were out despite it being the only LCBO in the area that was supposed to be open till 8pm on a Sunday. As I was driving away saw an employee pull open the doors to talk to somebody and turn them away, with multiple employees visible moving around inside. So they're there, they're not open when they're supposed to be, and they can't even be bothered to answer the phone before people drive over there!? If there's an issue that causes an early closure it is what it is, but ignoring customers calling instead of just answering and telling them they're closed is horrendous customer service.

Are used to love this LCBO until today I stopped in there this morning to buy a birthday present because yesterday was my buddy's birthday and because those boxing things there was a line up outside I asked the girl if it was open she told me it was I go in everything was fine and dandy I leave I stopped back to the liquor store and then I get told that I already got one of these vaccine quick test kits the girls sat there and said that I've already got it with such ignorance that it was disrespectful I even told her to go check the camera because I did not receive one instead she wanted to argue with me I do not like getting called a liar if this is how your employees treat people then I do not want to ever go back inside the store

Called the LCBO store at Center Mall looking for a very specific whiskey. Ross answered all my questions. LCBO didn't carry the specific Maple Whiskey I was looking for and Ross suggested a few comparative alternatives. I went to the store in person and again Ross was very helpful. Super friendly and took the time to look-up and suggest a good Maple Whiskey that I wanted to gift to my visiting brother -in-law (he lives in the USA). My brother-in-law liked the whiskey. It was a good experience shopping at the Center Mall LCBO store.

Did a crown royal sampling in this store amd everyone was really friendly. Being an inner city store, I wasnt sure what to expect, but the experience was cool. The lady working customer service was so nice to every customer, telling them to drive safe & offering kids candy. She even gave me sour keys :) . Each lcbo has different stock so I feel like this location hasnt had what im ever looking for, but atleast the staff are nice!

Always have what I need in stock. Friendly, educated staff available for questions and product location. It's bright and clean. One time, I dropped a glass bottle and it shattered all over my feet and the floor, and they rushed over to help, weren't upset at me at all and even gave me a free pair of promotional flip flops they had in the back because my shoes were soaked. This is the BEST LCBO location in Ontario.

I was in today looking for a nice gift to purchase for a good client of mine. I asked One of the friendly employees there named misty If she was able to give me a hand. She stopped doing what she was doing immediately took charge and not only directed me into the right direction but helped me gift wrap the gifts personally with notes. I was so impressed I highly recommend this LCBO ask for misty she's awesome.

Wow what organization on New Years Eve 2022. I went in at around 330pm and I was in and out within 10ish mins. Someone was directing everyone to lines they were amazing fast and efficient. I have gone to many locations and have never seen it so organization way to go to the Staff at The Center On Barton LCBO Amazing service and friendly staff. I was purchasing alcohol for my wedding, and a non-drinker I had no idea what to get, especially with wine. I believe a gentleman named Jesse (could be wrong) helped us out, and his suggestion was a huge hit at the wedding! So thank you very much for your help. It's nice to have knowledgeable employees available for assistance.

They've been great during covid19. The lines moved fairly quickly and everyone - staff and customers were patient with each other. As of today(Dec 8/20) you have to line up and answer health questions before gaining entry. It's very busy. Remember that people from Toronto and Mississauga are coming here during their lockdown.

Although they didn't have everything I wanted, I was able to substitute with an alternative choice. The staff member that assisted me tried his best to find the product I was searching for. And the cashier Kyle was awesome. He had a huge personality and was joking around. Great staff member to have this time of year!!

Large store with lots of products. Great central location in the mall. Not far from the food pavilion area where theres lots of options as well. The store was very clean and the staff were friendly. Large cooler area with lots of cold beer. Traffic is quite busy usually so try to go during off peak hours if possible

This store always has plenty of options in wines and beers (locals & internationals) and has a great vintage wines section. In this location, for sure will be easy to find goods brands of Singles Malts Whiskey (majors brands), Tequilas, and Mezcal which in other stores could be hard to find.

New staff are rude and refuse to transfer you to a new till when they close there till for a 10 person line. Then go off how "im sorry mam but we can only have the lanes open at select times" im sorry im cutting into the next line and will keep doing this when ever this happens. Great job

They have stepped up their game at this location over the past few years and it really shows. Staff are very friendly and helpful, shelves are always well stocked and store is always super clean. Appreciate that there are always enough cashiers on hand as well as the lines move quickly.

Amazing variety and selection of every kind and price range. Especially liked the huge walk in cooler! Unfortunately the staff were quite shooting to me and I had a hard time with the isles size, since I use a walker. Very busy during the holidays, but they were fast and well staffed.

I was a customer at the centre mall location. The attention of the male rep made my day. The rep took the time to listen and took the time to get me the product I was looking for and helped cash me out efficiently.The knowledge he gave me made the Xmas gathering a pleasure to host.

This LCBO is the busiest! The parking lot is very busy most of the time. If you part in the front you will be stuck trying to get out for way too long. Other than that the store is clean and well stocked. The staff are usually nice and will make suggestions if you ask for advice.

Better than the one at Eastgate. the older ladies that work here are very nice and welcoming. they actually act like they want to work there and not look like they hate their jobs. you can talk to them, and crack a joke or two and feel welcomed... unlike the one @ eastgate.

They have a good scotch selection and there's almost never a wait. They don t seem to like to stock items that sell out fast, you guys need par levels on you inventory.

The location is always busy, so expect a line up at cash. There are almost always pan handlers outside. Be prepared for that. The staff are always helpful and relaxed.

Twas a thirsty Easter Monday and Open !! Staff were helpful in finding what we wanted as we weren't familiar with the store and on our way home to Innisfil.

It was a day before the holiday, and it went as expected busy. I was looking for gluten-free. And they have a great selection and some new stuff too.
