It's obvious... Alcohol baby!! My personal belief is that the Ontario Government should not have a monopoly on hard spirit's, we as citizens should be able to purchase alcohol at any of our major food retailers, Costco Warehouses, mom and pop corner store's even small liquor stores. I know that the sale of alcohol ( mainly the taxes ) is a huge cash generator for the Ontario Government. But at the same time you have a large unionized staff ( wages, benefits etc) are the outlets owned or leased.. if leased that's more cash going out. Plus if they were to de- monopolize the sale system you may have better prices for the consumer. Competition is the best !! Thanks for reading my rant☺

While it's a pretty nice outlet in terms of looks, there seems to be a problem having certain items shown in the LCBO flyer. An employee told me that they don't get everything shown because they are considered a smaller outlet. This is strange considering the store is in a busy shopping location at upper James and Rymal. Some of the shelves are overstocked with certain brands so it could be possible to clear some space for the missing items. I shouldn't have to drive all over the city to find these products. Otherwise I really like the store and it's not too far from my home.

Went to pick up a bottle of wine from here today. Asked one of the staff members if he could help me locate a wine. He says “no.” And continues stocking the shelves. As I’m looking for the wine he says to me “I don’t memorize where every bottle of wine is.” You’re an employee on the floor. Pretty sure assisting with inquiries is part of the job. Must be hard being a middle aged man putting bottles on shelves. I can’t even imagine. Won’t be back here. Rude.

Province of Ontario needs to become less dependent on Government running items (which) are a tax retrieval systems but are potential lawsuits and addiction related. Ie. Gaming, Marijuana and certainly alcohol. The service is very poor at most locations and hours of operation are a travesty. I support grocery stores that carry wine and wineries. The lcbo system is flawed and decaying and the province needs little to do with alcohol, in my opinion.

aller LCBO which is good for quick stops. Very limited imported whiskey selection. The liqueur and Port/fortified wines sections are also limited to the more popular brands. Wine selection is reasonable as is the beer/cider selection. Would be great if the imported whiskey selection was doubled. 8 facings each of 750ml Crown Royal and Canada Club seems a bit excessive.

I will attend these LCBO's as opposed to 'privately owned' LCBO locations if the prices are the same but this location is a joke as kids do the find & dash routine with free alcohol & they not only do nothing about it nor have the have a brain cell to alter the entrance and exit to stop it and there is a simple solution too

What a great store to stock up and great drinks and and yummy beverages have a great selection of hard alcohols wines and sparklings but even the most Discerning customer the staff are friendly and courteous and it's nice to have a large refrigerator area so you can buy beers and coolers that are already cooled

This location is a bit smaller than other LCBO locations but the selection is still pretty good here. In addition there is a beer cooler there too. The staff is friendly like most LCBO's I've been to. Other locations are all sold out of Bud Light Orange, bit this location had alot of stock …

Everything was where it should have been, I was able to go in select the alcohol that I needed and I also got some beer that I was very interested in trying. This is one of the better of the LCBO stores if you're up in the area of upper James and Stone Church drop on by

They often don’t have what I need. White crème de menthe, brown crème de cacao, crème de violette, can’t even order those online. Very few cocktails use green crème de menthe. The only online retailers that sell what I need are all out west and only ship locally.

We were looking for a bottle of wine w low sulfates for my Dad who is very sensitive to them. The lady who helped us was able to recommend several different bottles. She was very helpful and friendly...the wine (even though it was vegan) was quite tasty LoL

Really helpful staff. My cashier was really nice. The only thing that bothers me is getting harassed to donate to a charity. I donate already and get a tax receipt. Why would I donate so a big company will take advantage of a big tax break on our money?

I love going to this store. It looks so small from the outside but has a huge selection of wines from all countries. The chilled wine section leaves a bit to be desired - something other than Pinot Grigio would be nice! The beer/cider

Lcbo is a great place to shop for liquors. Especially I'd you are looking for some help to choose your product. Staff are knowledgeable and help you with the technical aspects of the transaction.

What more can I say when you walk in the door not sure where you want to go? There's so much there's plenty of people to help you if you're not sure what you're looking for they will help you

Great place for finding a wide selection of wine ,beer and liquor. And sometimes like today the LCBO have a presentation where you can learn about whines you have not tried or knew about.

Alas they didnt have the whiskey i sought. However, the staff did suggest a work around much to my liking! Using the online store to order it closer to me with free shipping!

Ok place. Cashier was on a power trip when my 18 year old son passed a bottle from the cart to the belt. She threatened to refuse my purchase because he was under age
