If you’re in Houston and looking for a theater that’s worth the trip outside the 610 loop, Regal Theaters Marquee off of i10 is the place to be! Sure, the construction has been going on for ages, but trust me, the experience inside makes up for it. Once you step into the individual theaters, you’ll find yourself in a comfortable oasis away from the scorching Houston summers. The darkness and coolness create the perfect atmosphere to escape into the world of movies. And oh, the smell of popcorn fills the air, accompanied by the tempting allure of cherry slushes – it’s an irresistible treat for your senses. Previously, we used to frequent iPic or AMC downtown, but ever since we discovered Regal Marquee, it has become our go-to cinema. With its ample space and plenty of screens, they always have the biggest movies on offer. And the best part? There’s never a line to worry about! No more standing around and impatiently tapping your feet while waiting to grab your tickets or snacks. Even though construction is still ongoing, we can’t wait for the day when it’s finally finished. It’s bound to make the experience even more enjoyable, and we’ll have an even better place to indulge in our favorite films. So, if you’re up for an unforgettable movie experience, head over to Regal Theaters Marquee off of i10 – it’s worth every minute spent outside the 610 loop!

The center has LOTS of places within the complex to entertain, from movies, eateries, comedy shows, to exercises, games, and shopping. My two favorite places are Edwards Theater and Red Robins restaurant. The movie theater is well staffed and the facilities are clean and maintained well. The concession stand is always open and the kitchen comes online for even more choices between 1:45 and 2pm, although occasionally it takes until 3pm. Ushers come in right after the movie to clean up, and the large parking lot is patrolled by 2 or more security guards in Jeep Renegades or another small SUV or sedan. Red Robin serves great food at reasonable prices and offers plenty of good seating and window views for people watching. The staff are usually quick and friendly. So far I've attended the complex for at least a decade now and they have kept up the service and upscale area so I intend to keep them in my entertainment plans.

love this place, holds so many special memories, but security doing way too much above their pay grade. went on top of the parking garage to look at the view, which has never been a problem lol but officer tubsters comes up and starts with this attitude on me and my bf, threatening us with a $500 fine. he swears that level is off limits and says there’s a sign on the 3rd floor, but the elevator literally goes straight up there so we didn’t see it and if it’s so off limits, why can we just ride straight up to that level ? i was picking up my bag and he starts going on about how we’re gonna get down NOW like do u just want me to fly down ? we were very respectful, but he caught an attitude probably cause that’s the only place he has control in his life. the older officer was a lot nicer tho lol

The complex is not as good & fun as it used to be back when it opened well over 20 years ago. They used to have a bunch of neat shops, most of which are no longer around. I miss the Adobe Cafe and the A&W restaurant, and they also had another seafood restaurant (had a thatch roof over the front of the place) but I cannot recall the name but I do remember they served exotic seafood which was really good. I also miss Jillian's since that was a really cool place to spend an evening.....playing arcade games, bowling, a mini dance club, and having a few drinks at the bar. And I didn't approve of the Warehouse 72 trying to be the modernized Spaghetti Warehouse (that was my favorite place to eat in Downtown back then while it was open). Never mess with originality!

They are remodeling, so half the building is off limits due to the construction. But what they have finished is nice. Self check out Kiosks for ticket purchases. There is a person near by to check the tickets once purchased. Didnt get any snacks, due it being close to the side where the remodeling was taking place( ton of dust and debris by the concession stand). Auditorium where the film was shown is brand new. Clean seats. Clean floors, large curved screen. Downside: Restrooms are nice, they were clean but no papertowels or foot openers, so you dont have to touch the germ filled doorhandle. Would like to comeback to see it in its completion.

This theater is going through a massive remodeling project. I had a ticket for the premiere of The Flash. We were standing in the rain. Itota was not quite organized. They showed no remorse for people in line that were Handicap. Fortunately, I spoke with the manager on duty, which allowed my friend to sit inside on a stool. A stool was better than nothing at all. After getting sitted and heading back to the consession stand, which was extremely long. I will say the servants were ready and fast. Will visit again once theater is complete.

Brought my 6-year-old here to see the super Mario Bros movie. They are renovating here so it's a little messy for the time being. But surely there are better things to come. Service was okay, it was busy so a little scattered. Food options seemed limited. However, my 7-year-old did enjoy the movie and it was a great experience. It was an even greater surprise to come out and find that Mario and Yoshi were available for a photo! I can say that we will be visiting again to enjoy the 4DX on movies that go with it.

Little confused about the pricing and alternatives when it comes with the price. They are not looking like they will make it another 8years. The place is still running but they are trying too hard to be an amusement park with rides. If they could incorporate seatbelts, 3d, light effects behind theater seating and around the screens they would be able to offer the vip room to the entire theater. It would be a good idea to release some pressure from the compressed air machines. They almost shot into my ear .

My children and I visited the movie theater Nice area with restaurants too. As we walked into the movie's it was a barbie box and other displays. We took a few pics, grabbed some and headed to our section. The movie staff were also polite. We sat in very comfortable red chairs that reclined ❤️ which had cupholders. I don't want to spoil the movie so it was educational and hilarious❣️ The theater does have an area inside blocked off where construction is taking place.

I am not going to say anything other than O'Connor's is definitely the best of the Marque. I haven't tried the pizza place but they are nice from what I know. There's a high end restaurant behind Dave and busters that looks super elegant. One Day maybe I will go in. The movie theater looks abandoned , but it's open. The UFC bar is really nice but expensive red Robin was great over 5 years ago. Don't know about today. Just mind the rules and you should be fine.

My 3 year olds really enjoy coming here during non-birthday open windows over the weekend. The spaces are large and are nicely equipped with jumping gyms as well as things like a foosball table, coin operated horse, fire engine, etc. Also a good place to host a birthday party. The staff do a good job sheparding the crowds through the fun rooms and end with the cake room. They also help roll the birthday gifts and take-home decorations to the car.

This shopping center is a real asset to the area. This is the perfect spot to go for a date or to meet up with friends. There are several restaurants of various genres. The Dave and Buster's has been there since it opened and they keep it updated but food wise and with the games. You can also go to the movies. There is parking available all around the center so no matter where you're going it will be a short walk.

  • Darrel DCosta

This is a good place to watch a movie. Lots of screens and several viewing options. I didn’t give it 5 because the seats don’t fully recline, and the construction inside has been going on for months. There was a time when the restrooms weren’t identified/labeled so it seemed they didn’t have restrooms available. They have signs now but lots of construction still going on. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

  • gabriel d. gonzalez

Very convenient with the theater and Red Robin. But disappointed with the theater. A lot of construction going on, had to get directions to find the right door to the theater itself. But hopefully soon it will be done to enjoy the additions. The restaurant was very empty when we went to the matinee. But the food and drinks were okay. I hope to come back when everything is finished.

Went to see Candyman and it was a okay movie, but the theater was clean the bathroom was clean but after the movie it was wet on the floor, I'm glad I didn't step in it. But plenty of stalls. You have to purchase tickets at the kiosk and they do not accept cash for their snacks. The floating staff by the theaters don't speak or greet. But other than that. I'll still go back again.

  • Elle Cox

Not sure when they finished the remodel, but it looks awesome in the theater! It’s really cool and futuristic looking. The bathroom was very clean as well. I really enjoyed that the food area was central and they completely redid the arcade. I will say the chairs in the theater were okay, a bit awkward because you have to lean back to keep them reclined. But, I had a great time!

  • Ellie Zalazar

I really like the upgraded theaters. Tried VIP which included popcorn, soft drinks, and icees as well as recliners. Every time I go I wish the construction waa completed but not yet! I just wish movie goers picked up after themselves. A ticket to the movies does not allow you to leave your trash behind. Please toss your cups and wipe up your spills.

  • SUSAN ANDERSON

I took Durham to the van Gogh experience at the Marquee entertainment and not only was I impressed with the van Gogh experience but while walking through the Marquee 8 entertainment center I noticed that they have a lot of different event venues and they still have that fabulous candy store. Good choice for family fun and dining

  • Marcel Gardner

So this has been renovation for awhile but it is definitely returning to its former glory. Plus they have icees back. Only complaint is that the back row seating could a bit more comfortable by allowing a little more stretch out room. But that's a personal thing. All in all. If you enjoy going to the cinema, a great place to to

  • Mr. Contreras

The theater experience was awesome. The place is undergoing construction at the moment (8/3/23). The 4DX was great, seats move with the scents, air, and water. The seats are kinda stiff and non reclining. Nov 12.. update the theater looks 90/95% complete with renovation... the IMAX theater didn't have A/C today.

  • RN CHEW

Haven't been by here in a few years but I know I always enjoyed patronizing the various businesses here. I suppose I got lazy and started staying "inside the loop" as I got older, but now I feel I've been missing out on good memories. Will have to venture out more often again!

  • Citlaly Estrada

Dont like the new seats. Also, it was kinda warm in there. The prices are out their. Considering this place is kinda slow. Before we automatically got a discount on Tuesdays now u have you have to get the app or something? Ehh it looks cool and all but the experience is ehhh

  • Cintaun Clark

They are currently open while conducting renovations. The theater was nice and updated but those were some of the most uncomfortable seats I've sat in at a theater in a while.... Once the renovations are completed, it'll be a very nice theater but honey those seeeats …

Went here to the Improv to see comedian Ali Saddiq. The show was very good as expected. He is an excellent comedian. The Improv is a good place to enjoy top notch, A-list comedians. Drinks and food are good. Service is good. Been about 5 times. Will return.

  • Rio Rico

This Retail Center is thriving. Edward's Cinema is currently being remodeled & is looking very modern. A new business will be opening soon where Cafe Adobe used to be located. L.A. Fitness, Dave & Buster's, Red Robin are still mainstays at the Marq-E.

  • JD

Some young creeps came into the movie before theirs and bullied a lady out of her seat. When the situation was taken to the manager they did nothing. It was appalling. Too much money spent to see a movie there and have the movie interrupted by thxgs.

  • Luis Quintero

Always a good time, Remember even if you don't purchase food or drinks they do charge you $8 (@ any comedy place it's a normal thing if your a 1st timer & curious to know) food is good normally appetizers, I wish they kept the quesadillas though..

  • Mrs Tommie C. Guevara

Triple Double Wow, my family invited me to eats there Red Robin Restaurant great. Wonderful salad me my sister cuts divine to much eat so oh ok save money. Good unsweetened tea. Nice clean beautiful atmosphere. Give them 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tam G.

  • Damary JOY

Went to see a movie on the $29 movie ticket. It was good, all you can eat popcorn and soft drinks. Icees are also included as unlimited drinks. King size recliner seats. I enjoyed it very much since the movie was going to be 3 hrs long.

  • Carlos Reta

They revamped the inside of the theater. The regular non 4D, non IMAX seats SUCK. They want you in the 4D or Imax theaters- not the plain jane seats. Temperature was a bit warm. The seats don't recline. Uncomfortable for 2+ hours.

  • Virginia Barriera

First time here since the pandemic. I came to and washed a preview of the move "Blackening". I liked it because it has comedy and suspense. They are remodeling the entire theater but still open during the remodelations.

  • Trouble Man xxx

The Marq-e has a variety of places to eat at and a movie theater and different shopping places. I really like this place and security is very helpful when someone is going to a place and not sure where the location is.

  • Jorge Flores

My son and I went to go see Yhe Flash. They are remodeling, and the place looks very different from when we used to go. Still, we had excellent service the usher was very friendly and all the staff were very helpful.

  • NessMor_ Love

Dino's Alive was so much fun. We took the whole family and it was amazing. It's a short show but worth it. We had the chance to go another round again if we wanted to. No extra pay. Everyone was nice and helpful.

  • Michael Vachmiel

A gutted empty place. Even tearing down half of it's mall didn't save it. There are no stores any longer. The movie theater was charging 27.05 for ticket! I walked out. The Memorial City Complex is far better.

  • Charles B Lovejoy

Great movie theater. Some renovations being done. Need to make sure the supplies and things are a little more secure and out the way of people. Great service at the ticket counter and food service counter.

  • J.R. Cohen

Seats are somewhat comfortable. Don't recline much. Good sound quality. Popcorn is over salted. They have Pepsi options. Not a Pepsi person. Good amount of leg room. 8 out of 10 on cleanliness.

  • Valanta Taveirne

More expensive than other movie chains, ONLY Pepsi products (but not even Mr. Pibb, and no Dr. Pepper). I will only go on very special occasions like them showing OKLAHOMA in this instance.

  • Keysha Garcia

I love this spot me n my family will be returning really soon 2months later guess we did Yup You guessed it DAVE N BUSTER'S can't go wrong with this 1

  • George King

Watched Flash movie, great theater, you find small kids in the day audience, sometimes noisy as kids are at times. Plenty of food choices and entertainment in the area,

  • Shakira G

3/17/23 They're in the midst of construction so expect tarps up. The remodeled cinemas are nice. The seats are a bit small for a tall, plus size woman like myself.

  • Oscar Ramirez

It was nearly empty. When, my son and I, went to see a movie. That was really convenient. I didn't have to wait in a long line, for my snacks/refreshments. …

  • Richard Ontiberoz

We go Tuesdays for the discounts midday, lots of seats available. Nice and clean with great popcorn, drinks and service. My wife I enjoy it, leave reality behind.

  • Seán Patrick Judge

I am excited by the potential of this place...but I think the pandemic really put the brakes on the progress. Love the Irish Pub they have and the candy store.

  • Adalenia Valdez
