if I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have spent hundreds of dollars on their fish and fish products, and let me tell you, I am utterly disappointed. They keep their fish in a fashion that is borderline abusive. Multiple species of tropical fish are kept in one single tank, which isn't necessarily awful, as it seems that they have done a fairly good job keeping the tank arrangements safe, fish compatability wise, however, these tanks are horribly overstocked. I have seen multiple dead fish, as well as one skeleton, in more than one of their tanks. It is painfully obvious that these fish are not in good condition. This new overstocked tank arrangement has been around for at least a month, I first noticed these deplorable conditions while browsing the store in May, this is when I noticed that they were housing blood parrot cichlids and tiger oscars together. I figured this arrangement may be temporary, because the store had been rearranged. However, this was not the case. Recently I have been visiting the pet supermarket quite frequently, because I have decided to start a community tank. Upon fish selection, it was obvious that the employees had limited knowledge of the fish. I had purchased one female and one male guppy to go with the two females that I already had in the guppy tank. Right off the bat, the recently purchased female was showing signs of illness, so I quickly quarantined her and purchased another female. The new female was showing the same signs, she didn't last more than 3 days without dying. I had also purchased a pair of pineapple swordtails, who I kept in a tank with the three hatchetfish that I purchased. The female swordtail died in a matter of days, after replacing her, the male died. This morning I woke up to find that my favorite fish, Julius, a hatchetfish, had died as well. My tank conditions are great, and I had thought the hatchetfish were acclimating quite nicely to the new environment. But this wasn't the case, these fish are dropping like flies. On a side note, I would like to mention that recently, they have been keeping puppies outside of their store. (like I said, I have visited this place at least once a day this past week) The puppies seemed fine, and the water bowl was rarely empty. However, one day, i noticed a lady drive by, and from the front seat of her car, with her window rolled down, she began questioning the well-being of the dogs, because it was an excruciatingly hot day. One of the employees quickly came outside, and she replied, stating that "the dogs have been inside all day, and she just put them outside for some fresh air." I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, but I must say that out of all of the times that I have visited this store in the past week, those puppies have never been inside. I am very disappointed in the professionalism that these employees display, and I am disgusted by the treatment of their livestock.

I’m going to keep it short considering that I could go on and on about the GREATNESS of this store and the staff there, but to keep it concise, every pet store (ESPECIALLY petco and Petsmart) needs to take inspiration from this store. It is so clean you wouldn’t even think it’s a pet store, the animals are properly fed and socialized, they’re given exercise time and enrichment, they’re respected, and you can tell that they know they’re in a safe space for the time spent there. I couldn’t thank Ashley and Kierra enough for their kindness. I broke down in full tears seeing such healthy and amazingly cared for animals. They didn’t hesitate to comfort and converse with me. I will continue to make the almost 2 hour drive to come out here and support them. I have once this week and already have planned my next visit at the end of this week. I’m excited and can’t wait.

The store manager Ashley is absolutely wonderful! When she left Petco I started shopping at PetSupermarket because of her! She has always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable in every aspect from dogs, cats, fish, exotics, avians, reptiles ect. The staff is always friendly and the store looks fantastic! The cleanest pet store I have ever been to! You can tell the staff really enjoys their job and passionate about what they do.

Great Customer Service but yesterday at 1:59, both employees were NOT wearing masks. I had a mask on and so did another customer. I asked the employee why she did not have a mask on. Her reply was that she could not breath in them. I thought the Mayor required employees to wear masks to be open. Please resolve this issue so we can shop safety in your Bellevue store! Thanks.

This is a great place to shop for all of your pets needs. They tend to be cheaper than Petsmart or Petco. I wish they did not change out their items so quickly. My dogs are picky, so when I find something they like, I stick with it. It tends to feel like they will rotate items after just a couple of months. This is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.

Maria is exceptional! She went out of her way to help customers get what they needed along with showing the kind of hard work and integrity every company should want their employees to present . I will be a customer as long as this company continues to hire amazing people like Maria.

Love the convenience of this location in relation to my house but don't love this premium prices. They do carry a full line of products and there aquatics department is well stocked. Definitely saved me from a few scrapes with my turtle aquarium.

This is the most beautiful Dog and Cat store in the Boro! I was asked at LEAST 5 times from the amazing and awesome staff if I needed any assistance or had any questions! Love it! Incredible selection and pampered fur baby supplies . …

The best pet buying experience. The young lady that helped my children and I bring a beautiful little bunny home, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and educated us on things we needed and proper care for our little one.

My family gets our dog's food here. Whenever I go I always to the cats or the birds, and play with them. The people working here are usually nice, and knowledgeable of their products.

this store has the absolute BEST customer service. they really care about their customers and would recommend not only Pet Supermarket but this location to EVERYONE!! 10/10

Selection is decent, staff always helpful, engaged and knowledgeable, customer service / issue resolution has always been easy, fast and completely reasonable.

We liked it and they helped us find the things we needed . She showed us the dog toys that would be a strong as the ones we liked....made of used rubber hose.

The 2 ladies that assisted me at the store today were fantastic! If I am in town again I will definitely be back. Great customer service!!
