"Went into store and was advised I need a new bank card- so my current card was stopped and I was assured I’d receive a new one in a couple of days- given the fact it’s December I waited a week - then having received nothing I called tsb directly and was told that my card has been stopped but another one has not been ordered- I’m now 15 days without a card in the month of Christmas- just avoid TSB all over- I’ve received terrible service throughout and as soon as my card arrives (if ever) I’ll be leaving to any other bank because the service can’t be as poor as what I’ve received"

"Appalling attitude every single time I visit this branch"

"I should not even give a one star, wanted to transfer£2250 I repeated the amount THREE times the teller didn't seem to be all there but finally repeated the right amount pressed the button to pay asked me to sign the receipt which I did without looking how stupid, because when I asked for a receipt the sum sent was £2500 "

"My complaint to tsb I visited today at 12:25, however doors were locked even though it clearly displays tsb bank closes at 12:30"

The staff here are amazing people. They have a true gem working for them called James he is a true reflection of the TSB brand the branch manager dropped everything to confront my mother who was in distress I can not speak highly enough of these individuals yes they are understaffed but the wait is worth the service. Everyone at the counter is polite well mannered extremely professional and have always recommend a product or extra service without pressure. Thank you to you all for the incredible amount of kindness understanding patients and knowledge of the sensitivity of a language barrier on top of a family devastated by grief. Making time for my beloved mother and myself I can not recommend enough. I would like to add There was a woman who was there a mature POC I used to think she was like a no nonsense teacher as I saw several customers be hostile towards staff but no it was professional conduct. I recall at one point during COVID I was crying as I had had money taken from my account putting me in a predicament. The so kindly stayed behind over 20mins to help me and once opened the bank to let me come inside just before closing to make sure I was calm enough to drive. Wonderful individuals the reason I mentioned POC/Afro Caribbean is that many have complained about her conduct which is valid and opinion but I wanted to share a few of my experiences a wonderful lady yes she is/was stern but ALWAYS KIND and happy to serve and see me Always greeted with a smile as I have aunts like her who show concern and kindness and are protective. But so kind I saw her being screamed at for a pay in machine not working as she had stepped in to protect a co worker that was in tears because of a very sad little man using foul language.

Appalling attitude every single time I visit this branch. Machines were being used, a staff member was sitting at the counter twiddling her thumbs. So I decided to go over and get her to pay it in at the counter to save me time, however she Refused to pay cash In because it’s now a policy of TSB that the machine have to be used and she cannot take the cash in unless it’s large amount. What sort of nonsense is this?! TSB has just got worse over the years, one of the main reasons it’s not my main bank. This was the cherry on top!

I should not even give a one star, wanted to transfer£2250 I repeated the amount THREE times the teller didn't seem to be all there but finally repeated the right amount pressed the button to pay asked me to sign the receipt which I did without looking how stupid, because when I asked for a receipt the sum sent was £2500 .Called the supervisor then the manageress but I either got the overpayment myself or wait 5 weeks to see if TSB could get it back for me.No offer to put the matter right .Their fault my cost

My complaint to tsb I visited today at 12:25, however doors were locked even though it clearly displays tsb bank closes at 12:30. An asian lady pops her head out and rudely says "you have to come back at 1.30pm" I kindly stated we only wanted to deposit money into the cashpoint inside, she didnt even have the decency to ask why we were visiting the bank.

Terrible branch, terrible facilities. Would go elsewhere if there was a closer option. Really really dislike this branch. New update Arrived after 9am on a Wednesday and it's closed till 10am, why would you take open businesses hours away from customers. Yet again this branch is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend and does not deserve 1 star

Queue 6 people long, 1 (very slow) cashier open at 11.30am. Then cashier after having been with the same customer for at least 5 minutes THEN asks if customer has a face covering as 1 is required......tell customer that on her way in, before u serve her then, no pint asking her as she's about to leave. Awful place

Newly refurbished but same old rubbish. Paying in machines never seem to work properly and you always end up having to join a slow moving queue. Staff need training on how to approach customers rather than speaking rudely and with a condescending tone. They treat ethnic minorities with contempt. Avoid.

Poor customer service.. machines don't work properly.. and always a queue... unprofessional team as one colleague spending far too long just on one customer and only that one till open.. that black lady always making mistakes and the main reason for this long queue..

First time back in the newly refurbished bank at Great Barr. The staff were really friendly and talkative, and it is very spacious. New furniture arriving next Friday, it will be even better. Good luck to all the staff, stay safe, kind regards, Malcolm Nash.

Not even star ,staff not professional not good enough for that job, I did use pay in machine it's rubbish I put £640 only showing £240 and I can't get back the rest of my money and they never rang me back, useless bank.

  • I Ali

Not even a star. The paying in machines do not work all the time. There's only one customer service assistant at the counter. This new system of cutting down counter is a appalling. Very poorly organised.

  • Vipul “Ramjo” Ramjiani

The staff here have been excellent. Very approachable. I've had to manage several money matters, and they have always been helpful. Not too busy when I visit, but that is during working hours typically.

  • John Hammerton

  • Dave Murphy

One person working on the desk big queue, it used to have four to serve customers absolute joke all to try and save money by not employing enough staff

  • R D

Only customer in there. Counter assistant refused to serve me. Said use a machine and walked off. Rude.
