After reading all the positive reviews for Xtreme Car Rental, I recommended your services to friends visiting from the UK. Unfortunately, our experience has been anything but 5-star. 1. The first time they tried to hire a car, they were requested to come through to the office with all the documentation. We made the trip all the way to the offices only to be told when we got there that there were no cars available. 2. The second time they tried to hire a car (which was a week later), they asked over the phone if there were any cars available and they were told that they had to come in with all the necessary documentation to do the booking, after making the trip all the way there, they were informed that there were no cars available for hire. Could this not be told to them over the phone so that they did not have to waste a trip to the office?!?! This has been a really disappointing experience.

What a lovely experience. Was my first time needing a rental a car and the agent took me through each step patiently on WhatsApp and email so it was super easy. The car was exactly what was needed and super reliable and the rental was so reasonable. I even made a change to collection time and place and was sorted out within an hour. The after sales service and updates on the deposits are fantastic. There is honestly nothing I would change about the agent, the gentleman who brought my car and collected the car and the very easy to understand and straight forward T&C's. I would send my entire family to Xtreme Car rental if needed.

I would like to thank Xtreme Car Rental, for there assistance, I was in desperate need of vehicle, as my vehicle went in for repairs, the booking was processed over the phone, i emailed my documents, and then received a reservation confirmation, 45 mins later the vehicle was delivered to me and i was able to make payment with a debit card, I paid R245.00 per day for a Kia Picanto and the vehicle was in a great condition, i returned the vehicle and received my deposit after two days. This is excellent service, and i will recommend my friends and family to Xtreme Car Rental. Job well done !

The car headlights were not properly adjusted. I had to drive on 'bright' at night. Also I don't understand why they call me on the day I am gonna return the car asking me what time I'm gonna return it. It make me feel like they didn't want me to have the car in the first place or they feel like I am not gonna return the car. The information about the date and time of the vehicle return in on the contract. Otherwise the process was ok and the car was clean.

I have used Xtreme Car Rental on numerous occasions in Johannesburg and Capetown and the service that I received was impeccable. The staff are so professional, friendly and always on time. I have also liased with the durban office for my bookings and the staff was ever willing to help me with any assistance that I needed. Durban branch Prices and service is brilliant and unlike so many other car rentals where they will need you many things, a debit card, Cash can be used, deposit in their vehicles is the lowest found. Renting a car with Xtreme car rental was nothing but seemingless. Monique was also very willing to help me out even after hours due to my circumstance which I appreciated a lot . I was handed over a brand new polo Vivo , which was delivered to me at the airport and not to mention I was also able to use a debit card to rent the car! Not too badly priced either . I am very happy with the service received from Xreme Car Rental in Durban, the car was exactly as promised, in excellent condition. The people I dealt with from the consultant to the guy who delivered and picked up the car were very professional. I received my deposit on time and the fact that they don't require a credit card is a cherry on top. I will be using their services again.

Stay away at all costs. You will never receive a car. They will make up excuse after excuse and lie through their teeth with fake promises that your car hire will one day show up but you will never receive it. Save your time and money and try literally any place else, you might actually be provided a service. No idea how they claim to be a legitimate business.

I flew in to Durban, their drivers met me on time at the airport to deliver and to take collection of the rental vehicle. No waiting in long ques as with other rental agencies. Deposit was refunded promptly. I can heartily recommend this company.
