This place is a favourite of mine & I eat here frequently but the last time I ordered here & again today, have not been great. Last time I picked up an order & the food was totally stale & cold, I was scared to eat it. I called & let them know out of courtesy, their excuse was because I ordered late in the night. I said that it was a very poor excuse for potentially making people sick. They offered me a refund but I refused to accept it due to covid tough times on businesses. Today I ordered a coconut soup from uber eats. The driver came very quickly however the soup was soooo cold that I had to reheat it on the stove myself, scared to be sick again...$23.00 for a soup that I have to recook. Not very impressed. Hopefully third time lucky this month as I really want to enjoy this place again. I phoned the owner & she was very sweet & apologetic. The complaint was again handled well. The food was tasty after heated to an acceptable temperature rather then at room temperature.

The absolute best Pho ever!! If I see a place that sells Pho I always get it, and 2 fat ducks is by far the best I have ever had. I order from here probably 4/5 times a week, but I would have it 7 days if I could afford it (and if they were open every day lol). The broth liquid is always so flavoursome and beautiful and clear, and the slow cooked pork belly and grilled chicken are so delicious. I have always had amazing service, and never anything wrong with my food, and I have ordered from them A LOT, maybe upwards of 100 times over the last 18 months. Also, the deep fried chicken is also beautifully crispy and delicious. I would give 2 Fat Ducks 10 stars if I could. Highly highly recommend.

I tried special pho and entree combo fried chicken, egg roll and chips. Pho is similar to the ones in springvale. I wish that they serve rare beef slice. The combo was very nice. The batter was tasty and crispy. There are two types of egg rolls, one normal and the other seems to be wrapped with noodle. Service was relatively quick and the music they have was relaxing. Pho Soup Sliced Beef and Chicken

Iv'e had food from this place a few times. The food is okay, spring rolls are good. Otherwise, food is a bit bland, for example in the vermicelli salad, it was really missing fried onions, peanuts and herbs that I would usually get at other places. I once had grilled pork in the salad too, and it was dry and not seared like grilled pork should be. The chicken pho had good flavour however, chicken was a bit dry. With dining in, the place is a bit dirty, tables are sticky and floors clearly need some attention.

10/10 food, great flavour and incredibly well priced for the amount. We tried the tofu rice paper rolls, grilled chicken w steamed rice and tofu w steamed rice. All were lovely and large meals cooked with fresh tasting vegetables. Lovely staff working and efficient in quickly getting the food to us. Will definitely be returning :)

First time customer. Food was awesome! We ordered a softshell crab salad to share among 3 ppl, chicken broth tofu pho and 2 fried chicken dishes that each come with a serving of rice, salad and a soy-like dipping sauce. Also got 2 drinks from the fridge and paid a bit over $70. food was great, service was quick and easy to order, price was great 10/10!

Service is quite bad. The waitress with glasses was rude. She shows this unfriendly face the whole time. When we asked for drink, she dropped the drinks rudely as if we are unwanted there. Pho and chicken rice taste bland. Price is not expensive, around $10-ish, but with that taste and service quality, you better find another place. That's the first and last time I waste my money there.

This is the first and last time I will go here. I bought 2 rice paper rolls, the meat was extremely dry with massive amounts of pure fat (chicken but not sure if it was chicken ). Sauce was nice but otherwise very unpleasant to eat. Inside the restaurant seemed very dirty and old...not a great experience.

This place is an understated gem. I ordered the grilled chicken com and shared a few different entrees - everything was *flawless*. All flavours were well balanced and meat perfectly cooked, the sauces were the highlight. The only downside is that I live interstate! Will definitely come back next time I'm around.

I visited the restaurant last week for the first time. I ordered the char- grilled pork rice but they gave me stir-fried pork with heaps of oil instead. That's unacceptable. My hubby also reckoned that the sliced cooked beef in Pho is the frozen one. The signature of authentic Pho is the rare- cooked sliced beef which is fresh. Also, the waitress was unfriendly.

I want to try something new so I tried viatnami .my experience was awesome and more over the chef was extremely humble.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The couple who run it are lovely, and the food is fresh and delicious. The spring rolls and fried chicken are so good. Chicken coconut soup is the bomb also. I've never been disappointed with a meal here. One of the best restaurants in Pakenham.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to Asian food as the Australian version is pretty bland by comparison. I was surprised by this Cafe, the food was delicious and prepared / cooked very well. It's not what I would get in Bac Ha, but it was pretty good. Spring rolls were delicious and the main yummy. Was nice to eat here and will be back

I rarely write reviews but due to Covid I've had the pleasure of discovering 2 exceptional restaurants in my local area and 2 fat ducks is one of them. Eaten several times now, ever dish is so beautifully balanced and full of flavour. In a sea of mediocre dining/take away options 2 fat ducks shines and excels …

Was in Pakenham to pick up building materials and found 2 Fat Ducks. My wife and I decided to have an early lunch. The staff are great very friendly the food was amazing I had Char grilled pork bun my wife had pork and prawn vermicelli noodle soup. Finished off with 2 Vietnamese ice coffees. We will be back highly recommended.

The food here is great, give it a go. If you are after authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the Pakenham area, this Cafe is your best bet. They even have vegan options. The coffee is not too shabby either. They never get your order wrong and are always polite. The place is always looking clean. I'm always coming back for more.

*update* we went back and also highly recommend the steamed rice with pork. Delicious We got beef pho and a combo chicken ribs and spring rolls entre. Generous size portions and the food was 10/10. the chicken ribs in particular were so perfectly cooked with a delicious flavourful crispy coating. Excellent value as well.

Stopped in late in the afternoon for some rice paper rolls, and while there were none pre made, they made us some fresh ones very quickly, gave us an extra one for free and they were delicious. The customer service is fantastic and I will happily recommend 2 Fat Ducks to anyone after quality food and service

Service was pretty poor, customers that dined in 10mins after us got table water and cutlery before we did. I had to ask for our table setting. Beef Pho was bland, only tasted of excessive amount of pepper. The spring rolls tasted store bought. Nothing really fresh and exciting about the food or atmosphere.

My partner and I have take away from here every Friday night, and we have for some time now. The food is consistently fresh and always tasty. It is amazing! My partner can't get enough of the crispy pork belly Phò. Thank you 2 Fat Ducks. We can't look forward to Friday nights enough! ☺️

Not a good place. I tried their pho the other day , over 14 dollars such a tiny noodle in it. I have tried so many pho in different Vietnamese shop, there has no any place give such a little quantity in food like them. And also their sauce is way too sweet. Not nice . Not worth it.

I wandered in for a hot bowl of pho and was warmly greeted by counter staff. Bright and clean, soup was good (not great) ad a little pricey at $13 compared to other Viet restaurants of similar quality. Good for Pakenham though and if in the area will try other things off the menu.

We new to pecky and this is our second time take away from here! We love it . The food was fresh and the vegetables crispy. Overall it was tasty all of it we had pho and also spring rolls and also rice dish ... too good!! Keep up it guys. Keep it fresh and keep it coming.

Have been coming here for pho for about half a year now and have never been disappointed; value for money and always quick, with many flavour varieties. Current favourite is the char-grilled pork pho, meat is nicely seasoned. Highly recommend their spring rolls as well.

Delicious food, definitely worth a visit. Very friendly atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. We shared different plates of food between the 4 of us. Each one even more tasty than the last.

Going here on Friday for the crispy pork specials makes this place 100% worth a visit. A lot of meat for the price point they’re selling at. Both the Crispy Pork Com and the Lemongrass Beef Noodle Salad were exceptional

Just stopped in here on the way back home. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants we have eaten in in melbourne. Gf fried crispy spring rolls (homemade) define. All the food was delicious and subtle in flavors.

Descent quality food. They serve pho that is consistently flavoursome but could do with little less pepper and salt(msg) would be great. You must eat it with the Chili oil.... it's pretty good.

One of my favourite places to eat in whilst in Pakenham. Spring rolls with lettuce & sauce absolutely love. Pork belly & steam rice on Fridays - beef lemongrass is amazing too.

The best steam bun! I personally love the chicken ones! I really liked the pho too, but it can be improved with fresh red chilli and more basil!!! Otherwise YUM!

The best vegan pho. Perfectly cooked tofu and veggies and the broth is incredible and so flavourful. One of the best phos I've had in my life.
